Sakura was standing in front of the memorial stone "I didn't expect to see you here" Kakashi said walking up beside her Sakura nodded placing a hand against the stone "Kakashi sensei you said your best friends names were on this stone"
Kakashi nodded sadly Sakura ran her fingers across the various names and began to cry Kakashi put a hand on her shoulder
"Don't worry Sakura our squad will survive this"
Lee and Neji sparred with each other moving faster than Tenten had ever seen them move before the two broke away when Guy Sensei clapped his hands
"Lee" Rock Lee looked up at his sensei sweat and fresh bruises his trophies
"Neji" Neji panted but stood proudly besides his 'eternal rival'
"Tenten" Tenten stood at attention
Guy let loose a slow breath "war is not a game and it's unlike any battle you've endured it leaves its mark on the living and the dead promise me something"
Guy put a fist to his chest "promise me not to let the hateful fires of this war turn you into something you aren't Tenten let your aim be true and you will be a kunoichi to rival Tsunade one day"
Tenten nodded
"Neji you've already tasted darkness and this war will offer it like a geisha serves sake do not let yourself become the cold person I knew so long ago" Neji nodded "I won't guy sensei"
Lee stepped forward tears fell from Guy's eyes "Lee no matter what you are a splendid ninja one who's power will continue to rise perhaps to Hokage one day perhaps higher but the name Rock Lee will be remembered by even the heavens"
Lee nodded "yes Guy Sensei"
"you are team 9 you are team guy it's been my honor and privilege to train you now go and show the Akatsuki swine your power"
Team Guy all nodded
Shikamaru laid some flowers on Asuma's grave along with a pack of his favorite brand of cigarettes
Shikamaru stood up slowly but surely his body wasn't meant for the green pill but he endured it anyways he began to slowly walk towards Temari
Temari helped him stand a little straighter and they began walking out of the cemetery Shikamaru stopped Temari looked back questionably Shikamaru wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her in close capturing her lips Temari kissed back wrapping her arms around his neck
In the Inuzuka clan house Kiba was putting on Kobe arm guards hiding them under his sleeves Kiba stood up looking at his face in the mirror the area around the left eye was scarred from his battle with Kakuzu
Kiba put on the eye patch the hospital gave him they'd offered him a new eye but Kiba turned it down
Akamaru barked Kiba nodded his teammates were waiting for him he walked out of his room down the stairs to the front door
"Kiba" Hana said in her own flak jacket and uniform "don't die little brother" Kiba nodded outside Hinata and Shino were waiting for him
"Shall we depart" Shino asked Kiba nodded the three leapt away
Naruto was with Sai in a training field Sai surrounded by clones Naruto arched forward another clone leapt over his back hitting Sai in the chest Sai collapsed into a puddle of ink that reformed into a lion and bit into one of the clones
Naruto dispersed the clones shrouding the area in smoke from above Sai looked around trying to locate Naruto
A shadow fell over Sai he looked up to see Naruto descend from above and punch him in the face knocking him from his ink construct
Naruto landed Sai flipped and landed on his feet Sai wiped the blood from his lip "your moniker is well earned Naruto"
Naruto nodded "thanks Sai" he said holding out a hand Sai shook it
Danny stood atop the hokage monument wearing a leaf ninja uniform atop the monument he felt it was ok to let the tears fall

"I'm not going anywhere" Sam yelled glaring at Danny "you'll need me the leaf needs us"
"The leaf needs me I'm the shinobi not you Sam I didn't want you fighting Madara and I don't want you anywhere near him again"
Danny wrapped his arms around his wife pulling her against his body "I don't want to lose you"
Sam hugged him "you won't lose me"
Danny nodded "Jackson's more important just keep my dad from dressing him in orange" Sam cringed her father in law was not being left alone with Jackson his developing mind was too impressionable
"Consider it done lord hokage" now it was Danny's turn to cringe "not you too Sam I do not want that job"

"War's never easy" Kushina said standing beside the halfa watching the sunset "sending your wife and son away was the right call"
Danny nodded "you want to do the same for Naruto" Kushina nodded "can't Minato said he'd be a hero and my idiot husband whether I liked it or not was rarely wrong"
Danny laughed a little looking at the sunset he changed into his ghost form "I've have my assignment good luck sensei"
Kushina nodded "same to you though your pretty cocky if you think your at my level"
Danny floated up and smiled "you kidding old lady I've moved past your level for a while"
Danny landed at the village gates with him were thousands of leaf ninja
"Danny your late" Naruto whined "honestly your worse than Kakashi sensei" Danny rolled his eyes ignoring the comment
Danny and the rest of team Kakashi was part of the eastern regiment they'd be heading to the village hidden in the waterfall where Waterfall cloud and rain shinobi would launch their invasion into sound country
Fu dressed in a waterfall ninja uniform looked briefly at a picture of her with Nawaki and Danni before putting it behind the plate of her headband
"Eastern Regiment" Tsunade yelled dressed in full hokage apparel "for too long Akatsuki has threatened the good people of the world today is the day we strike back"
The shinobi roared "we will crush the Akatsuki and the sound and make them pay for every life they've taken A THOUSAND FOLD NOW GO AND WIN"
The ninja's roared and began running out of the gates to the waterfall village Tsunade stepped into the Hokage tower there on video screens were the various village leaders
"let's begin shall we"
