Marik's POV

"Welcome back lovebirds" I said not even bothering to hide the grin on my face "shut up Marik" "Krieg you do a homerun" he gave me a thumbs up and I bust out laughing, "ok we'll upload the video after we shut down the creature lab thing" Axton said and we got up "wait what video" "so this lab.. of creatures… what kind of place could it be" "stop that, what video" I smiled and joined in "it might be a lab… with creatures… that are made… in that lab" "YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS" "BUT I AM AXTON" "WHAT VIDEO" "MARIK WE MUST GO AND STOP THIS LAND" "lab" "LAB OF CREATURES BEING MADE… IN THAT LAB" "YES WE MUST ON WITH THE god it's hard not to laugh right now I mean ONWARD WITH THE ADVENTURE".

We ran ahead leaving Maya behind "DID YOU FUCKING RECORD US" "MARIK THERE MAY BE A MAIDEN IN TROUBLE" ""YOU DON'T SAY SIR AXTON WE MUST GOETH AND… you know I don't really know how to do a medieval accent" "yeah it is kinda weird..." Gaige tapped on my shoulder and whispered "do really shitty haikus" I grinned "in the lab of creatures we go/ to stop their production of said creatures/ …ehhh is bad" "was that a haiku" Zer0 asked and I shrugged "I don't fuckin know anymore let's just go and get this done".

We started shooting at some of the creatures and kept walking "HEY WHAT'RE YOU DOING IN THERE" Nakyama started bitching at us so I responded properly "wrecking all of your shit" "y-you can't do that" "what are you going to do about it huh" "uhhh WOUNDSPIKE KILL THE VAULT HUNTERS" "oh on big bad woundspike's gonna kill us heh how bad could it b-" I saw the giant borok with the Jack mask on "….wow that's just sad" Salvador said and we started firing at it.

I switched to my sniper rifle and fired before moving as the bullet came back at me "ok that didn't work" I noticed Zer0 shooting at the turret and the bullets actually hit it "AIM FOR THE TURRET", we focused fire on the turret and I ran as it fired at me "SERAS SCYTHE COMBO" she nodded and we summoned our scythes and threw them and I moved and caught hers and we pulled it down restraining it a bit.

"NICE ONE" Axton said and they fired at its turret as it started squirming "nnn FIRST RESTRICTION RELEASE" my skeleton formed and it grabbed the chains and held it down and after a bit the turret was destroyed and it scurried out from under the chains, "shit" I sealed the restriction and I reloaded and fired and it actually hit this time "ohh that's how it is".

We ran around and it charged at Gaige so I threw my scythe cutting its tail off and puss shot out everywhere as it screeched, "still gross" I fired at its face and threw a black hole while Axton threw his turrets down and Gaige summoned Deathtrap. "It's almost down" Maya called out and we pulled out rocket launchers and fired a volley of rockets at it and it blew up sending puss everywhere.

"Oh no they killed Woundspike… no worries Nakyama you're a brilliant scientist, you can figure out how to beat them, yeah yeah and I still have the last sample with me on the Terminus OH SHIT" "Cerberus where's the Terminus" I asked "it is located in the candlerakk's crag" "OH WHY DID I SAY THAT" "you really aren't a brilliant scientist are you" Hammerlock added in and we laughed as he yelled and hung up "alright so let's go stock up on ammo and head to the Terminus" Axton said and we left.

"You know this hunting trip has been pretty fucking nice" I said as we left the station "yeah it has, I mean we got to kill some shit, got some loot and even had some really hot entertainment" Gaige said and I grinned, "we can always entertain ourselves" "tell ya what when we kill Nakyama we can fuck" "wow you two are open about this" Axton said and we shrugged "you recorded me and Gaige fucking already so there's really no point in caring, we're pretty much comfortable with the fact that you all know" "plus we wouldn't get in trouble for it or anything".

Gen's POV

"Why are we stopping" "this is the lab where the Reaper Marik was tested on, we'll need whatever intel they have" "heh alright you got your shit ready" I grinned as we entered the atmosphere, "I'm always prepared, as usual you do the frontal assault and I'll fire from up here" "sounds good" I said and walked to the hangar as it opened "god I love my job" I jump out and dive to the ground and land before my soldiers jetpacked down to me "alright men let's crack some skulls".

Viola's POV

I set the samples in the tubes before the alarms went off "what's going on" I went to the window and saw soldiers blowing up the entrance and shooting people, "oh my god" I backed away and ran out the room and to the evac ships but they got blown up before they even had a chance to take off. "EVERYONE RUN" "SOMEBODY HELP US" "I DON'T WANNA DIE" I backed away as others screamed and I turned to run before seeing a man in a suit walking towards me.

"Aren't you cute" he said grinning and I pulled out my pistol and shot him in the head….. but he just laughed "oh that really is cute", my eyes widened when he pulled the bullet out of his head and crushed it "s-stay away" "you know after you shoot someone in the head you don't normally try to give them a warning at that point".

I turned and their ship landed and a large man walked off and towards me "Gen focus on the assault I'll handle her" "she shot me in the head" "you've been through worse" "can I at least torture her a bit" "no she's a head scientist from the looks of it, we don't need her traumatized" "….fine fine but hey lady", I turned to look at him and a blade came out of his arm and he put it against my neck and I started shaking "please cause us a lot of trouble, I'll get to kill you if you die" he grinned and it went back into his arm and he walked away.

"W-why are you doing this" I fell to my knees and held my head "we're going to die here…." "you won't if you decide to help us hunt down the Reaper" "the Reaper…. Marik…." "yes we need to prevent him from killing anymore innocents", "…." "Ms." "…..no" I stopped shaking and slowly got to my feet "you think we'd sell him out" "you want to live don't you" I glared at him "Marik has went through enough suffering because of us as it is, he found his happiness and I won't do anything to ruin that" "you realize you're sealing your fate" "….I know" "….do you have any abilities whatsoever" "no I don't" "any weapons besides that pistol" I shake my head no "…..I'll be taking you as a prisoner then if you're not a threat" he grabbed me and took me to the ship before tossing me into a cell "….Marik is stronger than you think, it doesn't matter who you are he'll beat you" "we'll be ready for him" he closed my cell and walked away.

Gen's POV

I sighed and walked "fucking bitch" I rub my forehead "shot me in the damn head" "sir we've gathered the intel", I looked at the soldier and gave him a nod "ok go to the ship then" he nodded and walked away and I looked over as my men brought a man to me "who's this" "he's the director of the lab sir".

I looked him over before cracking my shoulders "so what can you tell me about Marik uh Andrew" "why do you care" "just tell me" "he's someone that can defeat anyone, he took down the tyrant Jack, defeated the warrior and even took out the heart of the dark vault, and now some fools want to hunt him down unknowingly walking straight into the gates of hell" "wow you got a mouth on you huh" "are we done yet I have a hard time tolerating fools" I glared at him and he stared at me.

"…..You know what fuck it" I said and placed a finger on his chest and shot a blade out and straight into his heart and he fell back dead, "torch the place to the ground and let's leave" I turned and walked out as they set the lab ablaze and once we were all on the ship we took off.
