XXVIII-Listening to Songs of the Heart!
Ash sighed. "I don't get it why am I seeing that?" He asked this was the third time in the past twenty four hours that he saw Tai consumed by his powers attack him.
"See what?" Michael asked.
"Gah!" Ash yelped in surprise and turned around to find the red head standing there. "Uh well…" Ash replied getting nervous. "It's kind of about what happened." He replied. Tai had heard him as he was passing the room he peered in to see Michael and Ash talking. "There have been times when I've fallen asleep. And I guess I have a small nightmare where, Tai kind of uh…"
"I'm not surprised it was scary when that happened wasn't it?" Michael asked getting it.
"Yeah," Ash admitted. It was scary seeing Tai go ballistic like that. But it was extremely unnerving when in Tai actually turned on him and injured him. Ash never blamed Tai he hadn't been himself when it happen but… "It was scary. To be honest if Tai hadn't snapped out of it when he did...I'm not sure I'd be here right now."
Tai's heart instantly shattered to dust. He ran away before anyone could see him. He shut his eyes whimpering as tears poured from them. He gathered his things and Rio and took off as fast as he could not stopping to look back.
It was sometime later that Ash went to look for Tai. "Hey Tai you in here?" he asked, looking around.
"Pika!" Pikachu called Ash however found a piece of paper on the desk.
"What's this?" Ash asked he read it getting frantic instantly with each word.
"I don't want to be a burden or a monster to you or anyone else anymore. So I'm taking my Pokémon and leaving. I'm headed for Coral City don't bother looking for me because by the time you find me I'll be gone. Goodbye forever

BANG! through the door. SLAM! through another door knocking down several people as he went including May, Max and Rosa.
"WHAT THE HECK?!" Rosa screeched as they chased after him. Michael was fortunate enough not to get plowed over by Ash who screamed.
"NO TAI COME BACK! PLEASE DON'T DO ANYTHING DRASTIC! YOU HAVE SO MUCH TO LIVE FOR!"
"What?" The Red head muttered flatly, blinking.
"Where'd Ash go?" Max asked he and the Girls appeared.
"Yeah I need to give him a piece of my mind!" Rosa snapped.
"Me too!" May agreed hotly.
Michael shrugged, "he just ran off to the Caravans shouting about Tai. And how he has much to live for. I didn't get all of it."
"I saw Tai running towards the Caravans not too long ago." Perr replied having heard the conversation. "He looked upset."
"Then we'd better get to Coral City." Max stated the others agreed.

"Seven hundred dollars, for a plane ticket?!" Tai stammered, "I don't have that kind of money!"
"Sorry, kid those are the rules. Now either leave or I'll have security throw you out." The clerk said rather impatiently. Tai merely walked out kicking a nearby can walking down the street.
"He was a basket of sunshine and rainbows." He said to Rio bitterly.
"Ra," Rio hotly agreed.
"TAAAAAAAIIIII!" came Ash's frantic voice.
"Uh oh!" Tai gulped. "Come on Rio!"he shouted. The two ran off down the street Ash was in the same direction unaware he was on the right track. Tai however was very much aware and was trying to get away from him. "We've gotta hide." He cried then spotted a large building with a arced roof. "There!" he stated grabbing Rio and rushing in. Unaware he passed the owner as he went. A tall girl in her early twenties wearing a red blouse with no sleeves. And a pair of black jeans with salmon colored hair.
"Hey!" Ash called she turned to see him racing up the street with Pikachu on his shoulder. He looked very frantic almost on the verge of tears. "Have you seen my kid Brother? He's about this tall he's got goggles. A blue hat and a red and white shirt brown pants. Black hair looks a lot like me? He ran off this morning and I can't find him anywhere!" Ash wailed.
"Calm down its okay. I did see someone like that just a second ago he went inside." She replied.
"Thank you, thank you!" Ash stated rushing in to find Tai. The inside was large maroon colored with Gold trimmings and ivy columns. There were also many Photo's of musicals on the wall. But not caring about the elegance of the interior he quickly called out his Pokémon Infernape, Gible, Buizel, Staraptor and Torterra. "Tai's in the building somewhere. We need to spread out and find him!" Ash stated.
The Pokémon responded in their own respective languages, before the group split up. Unaware that lights were flashing Tai on the other hand was deep in the basement of the building. It was finished he learned that he was in Coral City's music hall. This place was used for Dressing Rooms props and costumes there was also rooms for people to stay in back in the day this was also a hotel according to Michael.
"Raaaa." Rio replied tugging at Tai's shirt and pointing they watched quietly as Torterra passed down the hall, he knew it was Ash's.
"We're not going back and you know why. They're better off without….err us." Tai replied tempted to say me however he didn't want to make Rio feel bad. He looked around for a place to hide deciding on a nearby room he opened it. It was an old hotel room he slipped inside and shut the door quietly hopping no one would hear.

"Yeah I did see someone like that." The manager of the Music hall replied. "He was looking for his little brother. And he came inside here like five seconds before he showed up.
Michael beamed, "awesome thanks uhhh."
"Amantha." She replied.
"We'd better split up and look around." Rosa decided,
"Right we can find them better that way." Michael replied as they began to search. He went one way and Max and Rosa went the other. The lights suddenly began to flicker. "Oh no not again," Amantha muttered.
Ash noticed the lights but he ignored them. He had to keep going Tai was in here somewhere. He didn't want to think about what Tai was up to. He had to search quickly however he suddenly saw Torterra and Infernape looking around down a Hallway.
"Hey guys you think someone's down here?" Ash asked.
"Tor/Infernape." The two replied with a nod.
Ash nodded back. "Okay I'll help you search the rooms let's go Pikachu."
"Pika!" Pikachu stated as they both began to peek in the rooms. Making sure Tai or Rio didn't spot them right away. Eventually he saw a figure freeze up against the light. He quickly slipped in shut the door and turned on the light. Tai squinted having been out of the light for a while however he saw his chance. He dove and rolled right by Ash ripped open the door again and took off running.
"HEY!" Ash shouted "come back here!" Ash raced after him Tai didn't listen. He suddenly crashed into a couple of people. He groaned and managed to see that his human roadblock or rather roadblocks were Trip and Barry who literally jumped to his feet.
"I'm fining you for that Tai! You've got ten seconds to pay up nine, eight, seven, six-"He started but was cut off.
"I don't have time for your empty threats today!" Tai shouted jumping up and rushing forward. Trip merely watched as Barry stood there dumbfounded, mouth a gape as if to say something more like a real crusher. But nothing came as Ash zoomed by afterward all Barry got out was.
"NADDAFINGA!"
"Has anyone actually paid the fines you've given them?" Trip asked. Barry suddenly became very still his hand fell to his side. Trip waved a hand over his face but got no response. "Uh oh I hope didn't break him." Trip muttered blinking.
Tai meanwhile was racing around in the halls. He looked back to see that Ash wasn't there or at least not right behind him. Smirking he turned to see Brock and Cilan. "AHH!" Tai screeched to a halt. He sighed in relief when he didn't bowl them over like the last two. He tried to get around them but they weren't exactly going to let him run off.
"Hey Tai what's the rush?" Cilan asked.
"No rush I just have somewhere I need to get to right away!" Tai said rapidly.
"Tai that's being in a rush," Brock deadpanned.
"Okay I am in a rush and you're eating up all my time!" Tai retorted in a panic.
"Why is something wrong?" they both asked.
"What?!" Tai asked feeling very stressed now. "NO! Everything's fine! I'm happy, happy, happy, happy deliriously happy! HA HA HA HA HA HA-"Tai suddenly stopped and clutched his stomach which felt like it had been punched all of a sudden. It also suddenly felt like his throat was swelling too, "Mnnnggg."
"Tai you okay?" Brock asked.
"I don't know. I feel weird like my stomach is about to explode." He replied.
"Raaa?" Rio asked never seeing this before in any human, Brock however had seen it many times.
"Tai head to the bathroom quick." He muttered nervously, "and when you get there put your head in the toilet."
"Okay…" Tai replied not getting it. He turned however bumped into a trio of ladies. One had blue green eyes blonde hair all done up in a big roll with several curls falling down. She was wearing a red dress with white lace a matching choker with a purple gem, she was holding a lime green and purple fan.
The one on the right had a yellow dress with orange bows. With teal hair tied in a ponytail with a couple of tresses in the front she had orange eyes. Long white princess gloves and a pale light blue and magenta fan. The girl on the right was wearing a blue swordsmen outfit with a purple sash and gold buttons and shoulder pads and an orange gem on the front of the collar she had purple eyes with long hair tied back in a pony tail that lied flat in the back with bangs off to the left and white pants.
"I know you three!" Cilan stated.
"You do?" Brock asked.
"Hilda and I ran into them while we were traveling the Unova region." Cilan replied. "She and Snivy didn't take kindly to being insulted." He whispered not wanting them to hear.
"How rude you should watch where you're going! You risked scuffing up my beauty of all the nerve!" the blonde stated.
"You tell that drab urchin and his unattractive Riolu Moira!" the tealette Mona stated.
"Hey I don't make fun of your poofy dresses…and Uniform! Leave my Riolu alone and FYI it was an-oooohh." Tai stated clutching his stomach he felt something, rise to his throat. Normally Brock would've wooed over them. But one he was put off to their snobbish behavior two if he was right about Tai…
"Uh Ladies I'm sure he's sorry. But it's kind of an emergency. So if you could just let it slide and let him pass that'd be great." Brock stated nervously.
The blonde Moira merely scoffed. "I don't see why I should he bumped into me. If he can't get to where he's going it's his own fault."
"Please! It's really important he gets to the bathroom!" Cilan begged. The three merely hmphed and stood there refusing to let Tai through. a decision they quickly regretted when they saw him suddenly gag.
"UH OH!" Brock and Cilan shouted.
"BLEEEG!" too late Tai had vomited all over them. Ms. Chandler a women in a white suit with black hair saw what had happen. She also saw three of her stars shriek as they rushed down the hall.
"Girls stop you're dripping everywhere!" she shouted chasing after them. Tai however kept vomiting all over it was too late to keep the carpets clean. Tai however shook it off and ran off. Not letting Brock or Cilan help him. Suddenly Ash rushed up looked around saw vomit prints from Tai's feet and followed them. that was when Amantha came up with Michael and Max.
"WHAT THE HECK!?" they shouted Brock and Cilan in a panic pointed to each other. When that didn't work- "WE CAN EXPLAIN!" they begged.

"Thanks Muddy." Tai stated recalling his Mudkip who helped him clean off his shoes. He quickly went to find a room to hide in. He saw Ash and hid quickly against the wall. Ash however stopped for a minute and went to a nearby door opened it then shut it as loudly as he could. Then hid behind a nearby statue watching carefully. He saw Tai and Rio come out from the hall and slip into the door across from him.
"There you are!" Ash muttered to himself, in the room Tai sighed.
"What the heck was that….I'd better not be dying." He muttered hanging his head while Rio blanched and tugged at his shirt. "Rio what do you want?" Tai asked turning around "Oh."
He stood up as Ash glared at him. "Where have you been you scared me to death!" he hollered.
Tai looked away. "You shouldn't even care," He muttered.
"And why not?!" Ash growled.
"You're scared of me that's why. And honestly I don't blame you!" Tai snapped.
"I'm not scared of you." Ash replied surprised.
"Yes you are! I heard you talking to Michael," Tai accused. "You're afraid of me because I beat you up!"
"I'm fine." Ash replied simply.
"You weren't a week ago!" Tai retorted.
Ash glared, "so what?! That doesn't give you the right to run off and end-"
"End what-, wait you thought?!" Tai asked blinking. "NO! I was going to go to Sinnoh and live out the remainder of my life with my Pokémon. On the top of Mount Cornet where I wouldn't bother anyone else." Tai stated.
"You could've made that clearer in your letter. I almost had a Heart attack! And I'm not sure but I think I knocked down a dozen people looking for you in a freaking panic!" Ash snapped, "so thanks for that!"
"That's your own fault!" Tai growled. "Like I said you shouldn't care! Who in their right mind goes after someone or something they're scared of."
"I do because I'm not afraid of you! Was I scared, at the time? Yes but I know it wasn't on purpose." Ash affirmed loudly.
"That doesn't change the fact that it happened! I did hurt you! And if this power gets loose then I'll hurt, someone else! And next time They won't live to tell the tale!" Tai stated. "In fact….in fact…you should've just let me kill Jasper!" he stated before turning his back to Ash.
"Why?" Ash asked darkly. "So you could get locked up? So you'd feel even worse then you did about my arm and try to take your own life? Or be so ashamed that you'd runaway and never come back?" He asked his temper rising. "My Dad already did that to me and my mom! So I'd appreciate it if you didn't try to do that to us too. So forget about your stupid plan to live on top of Mount Cornet you'd die from the cold or an avalanche anyway!" he barked.
Tai however turned slowly. "Your dad ran away from you and your mom?" he asked, Ash looked to the ground darkly.
"Yeah, he lost in the opening rounds of both the Indigo and Silver League conferences. I also remember it took him a few times to get a couple of badges. I guess he was too embarrassed to come home the jerk." Ash muttered.
Tai's eyes were welling up with tears. "Ash….I had no idea….I just…..I…." Tai hung his head. "Great first your arm then your feelings and Delia's on top of that…." Tears fell from his eyes and Ash suddenly realized how badly what he said upset Tai. "Great track record Tai…..hic…..you moronic…waste of space!" Tai began to sob.
"Oh no Tai I never meant-!" Ash stated but it was too late Tai was already in tears. Rio growled at Ash, "I know I know I'm sorry….I really messed up." He stated going over to Tai.
"Pikapi." Pikachu muttered sadly.
"Tai look at me." Ash stated after a few seconds Tai looked up at him. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have said what I said. I was just angry. You're not doing the same thing my Dad is okay."
"Yes I am!" Tai stated. "I hate myself Ash….I look in the mirror and I see a monster! I keep thinking everyday what else I could've done to change all that! It didn't have to happen….one little change…..that's all it needed one little change…I can't get over that."
Ash gave him a sympathetic look. "You should try, it's not your fault."
"You don't know what I'm going through!" Tai growled glaring at Ash in tears. "I decided that I was too dangerous and awful to stay. So I was going to runaway. But the person at the airport said it was seven hundred dollars to take a flight from Orre to Sinnoh. So I came here to get away from you so I could figure something else out."
"But why?" Ask asked. "Why do you think that you're too dangerous to be around."
"I couldn't take it Ash! Helioptile died in front of me and I snapped and tried to kill the guy responsible." He explained.
"She was killed in front of you! It's not like you went bezerk because she died of a disease or something. That's not something anyone should go through!" Ash stated.
"But if I had just done something else or had stood up to that freak she'd still be alive! And you wouldn't have a cut up arm! You try getting up everyday living with that kind of guilt!" Tai sobbed. "I'm a moronic waste of space."
"Tai stop it!" Ash yelled. "I told you not to say bad things about yourself and you know why!" Tai didn't move he didn't look at Rio he just stared at the floor. "You're not a moron or a waste of space. You're just a kid who lost a friend in a horrible way. Your also one of the most unforgiving person I've ever met no offence."
"None taken," Tai muttered this was true. It would be a long time before he forgave Team Rocket for selling him out. He would never forgive Cipher for creating Shadow Pokémon either.
"You don't need to be so angry with yourself because it's not your fault. And if you feel that bad about me then just apologize to me. Then maybe you'll feel like you earned my forgiveness?" Ash asked.
"What's the point You never blamed me for what happened even though you should've." Tai replied.
"What do you want me to say Tai? That I hate you for what happened?" Ash asked, annoyed.
"YES!" Tai snapped.
"Forget it." Ash replied. "Did you at least feel a little bit better when you apologized to Helioptile's ghost?"
"I….guess." Tai muttered his voice cracking. "I'm sorry…." He replied looking up at Ash with tears in his eyes threating to fall. "I'm sorry…..I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He stated over and over he kept saying it until he broke down into small sobs. Ash came closer to him that was when Tai, hugged him. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" he stated sobbing Ash hugged him back.
"I forgive you its okay." Ash replied Tai started to cry, full force into his chest. "Its okay." Ash repeated over and over. Michael listened from the door and smiled. Then went to gather everyone up.
"So Ash found him?" May asked.
"Yeah but I think we should leave them alone for a bit. Let Ash calm Tai down they'll find us." Michael replied.
Brock and Cilan came down they finally got the vomit clean having offered to help.
"That's a relief," May muttered then the lights started to flicker once again. "That's weird."
"Maybe the town is having power problems?" Brock asked.
"It could be Team Cipher!" Michael stated.
"No it's just the building." Amantha replied coming forward.
"Amantha hey" Rosa stated.
"Amantha huh?" Brock asked taking her hand. "What a beautiful name just like the flower of course it's only half as gorgeous as you!"
"Uhhh thanks?" Amantha replied Brock suddenly felt two Dark presences. One was Max with an Angry glare on his glasses. The other was Crogunk ready to stab him with poison jab.
"I get it can we move on!" Brock asked submitting to defeat.
"What exactly is going on here?" Rosa asked.
"This building has been here for a long time. But recently I bought it so I could fix it up and reopen it. I managed to get the Flower Garden Troupe to come here and preform for the grand reopening they're very famous in Unova." Amantha replied.
"I've met three of their stars before. Moira, Cher and Mona, Hilda has too." Cilan replied.
"Really what happened?" Max asked.
Cilan looked to the ground. "I'd rather not say."
"That just makes me wanna find out even more." Max muttered with a sweat drop.
"It's not gonna be good if the power goes out completely during the show it'll end in a disaster!" Rosa stated.
Amantha sighed. "Tell me about it that's not even the worst part. Lately all the Pokémon food is expiring so fast because something keeps getting into it."
"If the Flower Garden Troupe, have Pokémon they use in the show then the Pokémon will have to eat. And I'm thinking those girls wouldn't appreciate the rotten food for their Pokémon." Brock agreed.
"Right I know Moira has a Cinccino, Cher a Roseraid and Mona has a Lilligant." Cilan added.
"Not only that I've gotten complaints that there have been electrical devices in and out of the rooms being activated at night. Which is quote on quote 'depriving us our beauty sleep.'" Amantha replied. "I've searched everywhere but I can't seem to find the problem. They just don't seem to be connected,"
Cilan went into deep thought. "Hmm the lights flicker on and off randomly throughout the day. Pokémon food broken into and to the innocent go the spoiled. Then throughout the night electronics go on and off without reason or why. We've got a mystery on our hands and every Mystery is begging to be solved. And there's only one person who can solve this baffling caper! ME IT'S DETECTIVE TIME! I promise you Amantha by sunset today you'll have nothing to worry about!" Cilan stated as he placed a Detective cap on his head.
"Cilan!" Brock said placing a hat on his own head. "I would be honored to be your Watson! So that Amantha's Dream is certain to become a reality!"
"Excellent, May why don't you help us out as well?" Cilan asked.
May froze but smiled. "Sure," she giggled, "Thanks for putting me on the spot Cilan!" The three walked off leaving Michael and Max, Rosa was running off.
"Where are you off to?" Max asked.
"I've got something I need to work on for Tai later see ya!" she stated running deeper into the building.
"So what do we do now?" Max.
"Uh well-"Michael muttered. "I guess we find Ash's Pokémon and tell them the search is over."
"I guess. That's all we really can do unless Amantha has something she needs help with." Max replied.
"Unfortunately these strange problems aside I really don't have anything." Amantha stated with a slight sweat-drop.
Cilan and co went down to the food storage. "So you think that the culprit is a Pokémon?" May asked.
"Yeah no one's ever seen anyone strange around plus we have the lights flickering." Brock replied.
"It's possible that the culprit is a small electric type like Magnemite, Pachirisu, Pichu or Elmoga." Cilan added.
"But you never know this is a special Pokémon food that's appealing to all types of Pokémon. We just place a couple of bowls here and wait for our mystery culprit to take a bite." Brock replied.
"And then we can stop it from causing all the problems." May stated.

Tai woke up in a bed in Battle Town he couldn't remember how he got there. He could've sworn he had just been in Coral City. Rio was nowhere to be found. Neither were Ash and Pikachu he raced down stairs. Eerily when he tried to get Michael or Max's attention they outright ignored him then came Rosa he grabbed her arm.
"Hey Rosa why is everyone ignoring me and where's Ash? Pikachu and Rio are missing too!" Tai asked.
"Like you don't know." She muttered harshly. But at the same time she sounded like she was gonna cry. She snatched her arm away.
"I…don't….tell me please…..where are Ash and Pikachu?" Tai asked, she said nothing. "Where is my Riolu?"
"Gone…You…..YOU KILLED THEM YOU FREAK!" Rosa hollered. Tai looked horrified he quickly raced out of the house. Raced into the Graveyard finding Helioptile's grave stone. He then saw one depicting a Pikachu and right next to it. Then the one off to the left made his heart stop it had the picture of a Riolu engraved into it. With the name Rio underneath. Then he turned to look at the largest head stone in the middle and that one gravestone that made Tai's blood run cold.

Tai took a couple of steps back hyperventilating. He backed into a tall man with dark short cut hair wearing a suit he glared at Tai who was crying now. "I knew you couldn't be trusted and you've proven your too dangerous to live." He felt a jab in the back of his neck.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" Tai shrieked so loudly that it literally made Ash who had fallen asleep jump up and turn with a yell. Tai was sitting up in bed tears streaming down his face panting heavily in a cold sweat.
"Tai what happened are you okay?!" Ash asked Tai got up and ran off as fast as he could. "Tai!"
"STAY AWAY!" Tai screamed running away, but Ash didn't listen he followed.
"Tai where are you? Tai!" Ash called it wasn't long before he heard sobbing, in a room nearby. That had a few weird looking lamps.
"I….I killed you Ash and Pikachu Rio…..I don't know what to do I'm tired of not being able to sleep. I don't want to hurt anymore." Tai moaned, Ash quietly came over and pulled him into a hug.
"I'm sorry Tai." He muttered as Tai just sat there holding Rio sobbing. It was then that a nearby Spectro lamp came to light the colors changed from Red to Green and blue. Then they would mix as the ball spun and shot out circles of light on the dark wall.
"How did that turn on?" Tai asked.
"I don't know." The two broke apart and looked around to see what they could find.
"Pika!" Pikachu shouted, they turned and gaspe. There standing a brownish orange color with red orange cheeks. A long black tail with a star shaped burst at the end with round black ears. With cream colored insides and a cream colored triangular patch on it's stomach was well it looked a little like a tiny Raichu.
"Dedenne?" it asked tilting it's head to the side.

May yawned she leaned back when she suddenly heard the bell they set up. Cilan and Brock were playing cards with May waiting to play the winner heard it too. They quietly snuck out to see what is was they gasped.
"Gib?" Gible asked looking up with a full mouth the two bowls were empty.
"Oh no!" May groaned.
"Gible that food wasn't for you!" Cilan stated.
Brock was suddenly on fire enraged tears streaming down his face. "GAAAH THAT FOOD WAS MEANT TO CAPTURE THE CROOK WHO WAS MESSING WITH THE THEATER! BUT YOU ATE IT! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CATCH THEM AND IMPRESS AMANTHA IF YOUR STUFFING YOUR GREEDY FACE WITH OUR BAIT?! HOW DARE YOU! HOW DARE YOU, DO THIS HORRIBLE THING!"
"GIBBLLEEEE!" Gible screamed spastically rising into the screen.
"I think you're over-reacting a tad bit there Brock." May replied with a sweat-drop as she and Cilan popped up also on screen.
"It is almost lunch time." Cilan agreed.
May suddenly spotted something. "Hey guys look at this!" she stated some food had been recently broken into. "And I think you were right about it being an electric type look!" she pointed to the Lighting shaped insignia on the box.
"Gible!" Oshawott stated pointing, to a vent.
"Ah ha!" Cilan said looking at the vent with his magnifying glass. "We now know for certain that the culprit is an electric type! And this is how it's been getting around undetected! And look footprints."
"So the sting operation wasn't a complete waste excellent!" Brock stated cheering up and forgetting his anger at Gible.
"Gible!" he stated happily moving towards the vent.
"You're gonna help us out Gible?" May asked.
"Gible!" he nodded.
"Okay Pansage help us out!" Cilan stated.
"Pansage!" he cheered.
"Clefairy you too!" May called.
"Clefair!" she stated they both looked to the vent.
"See those footprints we need you three to follow them see where they go and report back here!" Brock stated.
"Clefairy/Pansage/Gib!" the three entered the vent with Clefairy using flash to light the way.
"Good thinking Cleffairy!" May encouraged.
"Sonic speed!" Brock called.

"Dede." It stated looking at Tai who hung his head. Unexpectedly the Dedenne climbed up Tai's shoulder and rubbed it. Moving Tai's head a little as it did. Dedenne even wiped Tai's tears with it's tail.
"You're sweet." Ash complimented pulling out his Pokedex. "Let's see."
"No Data." It replied.
"Huh?" he replied looking towards Dedenne. Who was getting sniffed by Rio he responded by latching to his nose. "Must be from the Kalos region."
"Reefaa" Rio replied shaking his head making Dedenne fly off then back down on his head. "Raa" Rio replied wagging his tail.
Tai suddenly did something Ash hadn't heard in a week, laugh. Rio grinned brightly when he heard it hugging Tai, "Whoa." Tai stated "you're happy."
"RAAAA" Rio cheered, as Ash smiled.
Gible and the others had been watching from the vent. Clefairy had already left while Pansage and Gible messed with the vent until they fell out.
"Ahh Gible!" Ash called.
"Pansage!" Tai stated as they rushed over. "You guys okay?"
"Pan/Gible." The replied rubbing their heads they were fine. Pansage suddenly saw the Dedenne on Rio's head.
"Pan Pansage pan!" Oshawott stated pointing to it.
"What is it?" Ash asked. Dedenne however suddenly jumped off of Tai's head and stuck it's tail in a nearby empty outlet. Sucking in electricity and making the lights flicker.
"Look Dedenne is making the lights flicker" Tai stated. "Whatever it's doing is messing with the building's power."
"Dedenne, Tai how do you know that's its name?" Ash asked.
"Pokémon say their names." Tai replied, with a shrug.
"Not all of them but-" Ash replied, but got cut off.
"Ash, Tai!" May shouted as they came in into the room.
"Clef, Clefairy!" Clefairy shouted pointing at Dedenne who was sucking away energy.
"Dedenne stop!" Tai shouted pulling him out. But he was zapped doing it. Whether from Dedenne or the electricity from the building he didn't know. But all Ash knew was that Tai stood there smoking twitching before falling over.
"Tai are you okay?!" Ash asked.
"Raaaaraa!" Rio called.
"Peeechyy" Tai squeaked soon he recovered and he still had the Dedenne in his hands. Ash had found and gathered up his Pokémon with the search over. Eventually Ash and Co, went to Amantha to tell her the culprit all but Rosa were present.
"We've solved the Mystery!" Cilan stated.
"You have what's been happening?" Amantha asked.
"The Culprit was a Pokémon named Dedenne. However I haven't deducted why Dedenne would do this?" Cilan replied.
"I've heard Dedenne will suck the energy from power plants and the outlets of buildings. So you don't want a wild one running loose in your house." Michael replied.
"What about the food then?" Max asked.
"Hmm maybe it didn't have any other choice. I mean Orre isn't exactly a Pokémon Paradise." May noted.
"Uhh guys." Ash stated catching their attention. "Just so you know Tai's not here and he took Dedenne with him."
"WHAAA YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE WATCHING HIM!" Brock hollered. "What kind of brother are you, you should be ashamed!" he barked but suddenly-
"CROGUNK!" JAB Brock screamed as he fell to the ground Ash sweat-dropped.
"Why did Tai run off with Dedenne he knows it's been causing the Theater's problems." Max asked.
"Who's causing what problems?" Barry asked as he and Trip walked up.
"There was a wild Dedenne messing with the building. We just found it a while ago but my brother kind of ran off with it." Ash replied. "I bet it was because it was so nice to him. Tai's been having a horrible week so….he responds well to that I don't know."
"And now we've got to find Tai so he can give Dedenne to me." Amantha replied. "Once I have it I'll give it Nurse Joy to find a trainer for it or get it back to Kalos."

Meanwhile Team Rocket were a depressed heap. They were stressed they were exhausted and they spent half the night running from Battle town to Coral City which was quite the feat.
"Unnnggg of course we encounter some of the most horrible Shadow Pokémon of the bunch!" Jessie groaned.
"Where are we anyway?" Meowth asked.
"Well….let's see we're in Coral City but we just need to figure out where exactly." James replied flipping through the guide book he beamed. "Well, Well we're not too far from the famous Reef Music hall!"
"Reef Music hall?" Jessie and Meowth asked.
"Back in the day it was a gorgeous hotel with Broadway esque musical theater and fine dining." James stated.
"Fine Dining and Broadway meaning that place is on the highest point of society I say we go!" She stated.
"Problem the Theater was closed in 1956." James replied making Jessie blanch then cry. "But someone recently bought it up for a Grand Reopening. And some group called the Flower Garden Troupe will perform on opening night."
"WHHOOO A Christmas Miracle!" Jessie stated.
"It's November tenth." Meowth dead panned.
"Thanksgiving Miracle then. I'm just thankful for whoever bought that place up. Meaning we get chance to relax and stuff our faces." Jessie stated.
POP! "Wobbuffet!" Team Rocket happily ran off unaware that they were being watched for once.
"You hear that?" Folly asked, "the Flower Garden Troupe."
"I've heard of those gals the entire troupe is comprised of Young Women and their female Pokémon." Trudly replied.
"Fooh Ho ho ho!" Miror B. Laughed. "We have our next target boys!"
"Are you sure? Every girl we've tried to steal from has beaten us up," Folly replied. "And I'm not just talking about the girls those kids with the Snag Machines know."
"If the Flower Garden Troupe are what I think they are that is to say stuck up and snobbish. Then they'll be expecting someone else to do the beating. We can swoop in and grab those Pokémon leaving them all crying!" Miror B. replied.
"YEAH!" Trudly and Folly stated together!

"Tai where are you!" Ash called,
"Pika Pika Kachupi!" Pikachu called.
"Hey Ash!" Trip said finding him. "We need your help. It's Tai we've tracked him down."
"Uh oh he's not crying or anything is he?" Ash asked.
"Crying? Try rebelling!" Trip stated.
With the others….
"Tai come out of there!" Max called.
"Go away!" Tai snapped, from with a locked room.
Barry came up and loudly knocked on the door. "Listen here Mister you've got ten seconds to come out of that room nine eight seven six-"
"Empty threats!" Tai called, making Barry, go a beat red.
"EMPTY THREATS!? WHY DON'T YOU COME OUT HERE AND SAY THAT TO MY FACE YOU LITTLE BRAT! I'VE BEEN IN THE LILY OF THE VALLEY CONFERENCE. HOW MANY LEAGUES HAVE YOU BEEN IN?! OH THAT'S RIGHT NONE!-"
"Okay time for a breather." Brock stated as he dragged Barry away from the door.
"I WANT MY LAWYER!" He screamed.
"Tai come out please!" Michael called.
"Vuuiii!" Eevee called.
"NO! I'm not coming out!" Tai shouted.
"I don't understand why is Tai acting like this. It's almost like he doesn't trust Amantha or something." Cilan sighed.
"See the problem?" Trip asked.
"Yeah I do, I don't know why Tai would act like this unless…." Ash mused.
"Unless what?" Trip asked.
"Tai's scared something bad is going to happen to Dedenne. I do know that Tai's not coming out of that room. So we'll just have to find another way in." Ash declared he found a yent that looked like it would go into the room. Tai was occupying however he was quickly find it was a tight squeeze, "RRNNNGGGG AAAHHHG." He growled only for his face to get stuck in the vent. After some struggling he pulled it back out and rubbed his cheeks in defeat. "I'm not getting in there."
"Pika!" Pikachu sighed sweat-dropping.
"You do know that the room Tai is hiding out in is connected to one of the other ones right." Trip pointed out Ash turned on him and glared.
"Why didn't you say so sooner!?" Ash snapped Trip merely handled the floor plan. "Let's see we're on the third floor this is the room that Tai's in. And it looks like this one connects!" he stated Ash quickly ran to the door he carefully tested the knob. Fortunately it wasn't locked meaning Tai had no idea that the two rooms connected.
He entered the room sure enough there was the other door. If Tai had locked the outside one, he wouldn't lock this one unless he saw the other door. Hopefully he hadn't."
Ash slowly but surely opened the door, however. "CHAAAARRRR!" Blaze had unleashed a heaping helping of flamethrower on Ash's face.
"You're out of luck. My Charizard's used flamethrower on me so many times I don't even feel fire attacks anymore." Ash replied simply.
"Blaze why would you do that?!" Tai scolded Blaze hung his head. "And you how did you get in here?!"
"The two rooms here are connected you didn't lock the other two." Ash replied.
"Darn it!" Tai growled.
"Tai why are you hiding out in here?" Ash asked.
"I just am, I don't want Dedenne to go to Amantha she's mad at him." Tai stated.
"Dede?" Dedenne asked blinking.
"Yeah, uh Dedenne I know you're just doing what you normally do. But your messing with the building and that's not good for the people here." Ash explained.
"Dedenne." He sighed sadly. He had no idea that he was hurting anyone.
"But What else could Dedenne do? It's not like he has a lush forest to run around in. There's like little to no life out in Orre. And I kind of, sort of….uh…..don't want it to go back to the wild." Tai replied a slight blush forming on his cheeks.
"Sounds like you want to keep it." Ash smirked.
"Yeah" Tai admitted. Listening from the other room were Michael and the others.
"Why don't we just let Tai keep it?" Trip asked. "All things considered that makes your job easier and Nurse Joy doesn't have to worry about it."
"That's actually not a bad idea." Amantha stated.
"I don't really want to go out the front door so." Tai replied passing him and heading out the back.
"Hey wait up." Ash called.
"Annnnddd-" Michael muttered, as a small gust of wind blew behind them. "They're gone." He sighed,
"The Another Door Another side" Max stated.
"Yeah which they used to leave" May muttered.
"So much for getting in" Barry stated. Ash and Tai walked down the hall that was when Dedenne jumped out of his hands excited about something.
"Ne Ne nene!" he trilled as he ran.
"Dedenne!" Tai and Ash called.
"Pika, Pikachu!" Pikachu called.
"Raariii!" Rio called both chased after him. Rosa meanwhile had finally finished the song getting it the way she wanted it to. She suddenly saw that she had been wandering around and was by the stage.
"The stage?" she asked. "I guess I wandered all the way in here. And here I thought I was just pacing." It then clicked in her mind she twiddled her fingers. "The stage….." she muttered again as she stared at it with a big grin forming on her face. Then started setting a couple of things up. "I just gotta make sure I put everything back the way I found it no big deal!"
Once she had set everything up a microphone and a couple of amps and the Microphone. "Alright time for a little Dream Practice," she stated clearing her throat.
"Ne Ne ne!" Dedenne stated coming to a stop. Tai just caught up to him and picked up the electric mouse however he saw Rosa start to sing.
"In an instant tragedy struck and we never saw it coming. It broke you like glass but I can see that the pieces are trying to fix themselves. You kept pushing forward but it hurts you. Feeling like you can't feel you yell out but you don't have to scream. Cause I'm here If you wanna talk. I'm here if you need a shoulder to cry on we're all here for you."
"Rosa?" Tai asked blinking as Ash caught up.
"It feels like everyone's hurting but it's not because of you. You learned the hard way that life can be cruel you only tried to do what was right. And it ended so bad that your turned on yourself hating that you made that choice. But you're not to blame so you don't have to feel that way. You just have to know that I'm here for you. We're here for you if you want to talk or cry you're not alone."
"Wow Rosa's really good" Ash stated.
"Pikachu." Pikachu agreed Tai stared this song was meant for him. He smiled and cried a couple of tears. Thinking back over the week everyone helped him out his Pokémon. Who trained hard and learned new moves and/or perfect them just to cheer him up. Ash had basically been a pillow for him to cry in and Max and Michael gave him advice and asked him how he was doing. So did Rosa but she also poured her spare time into this song.
"Just look behind you. And you'll see me there we'll be here no more tears or pain. It's time to let it go far away you'll never have to face them alone. We'll be there by your side in spirit or in form my 're here for you, always and forever you're never alone."
"Alright!" Ash and Tai cheered she turned to see them clapping.
"Dede Ne ne ne ne ne!" Dedenne stated jumping up and down and running around the stage.
"RAoooo!" Rio cheered.
"Pipi Pikachu!" Pikachu cheered. She blushed but rubbed the back of her head.
"NE!" Dedenne growled as he was pulled up by Moira.
"Dedenne!" Tai stated.
"There you are Darling you're lucky we came to find out what the source of that horrendous noise was. And we found you here. But don't worry you don't have to be with those urchins anymore!" Cher stated.
Who are you calling Urchins?!" Ash snapped angrily.
"Ne Neee!" Dedenne was struggling just to try and get out of Moira's arms.
"Oh look the poor dear can't wait to get away from them. Especially a raga muffin who caused that noise." Moira stated ignoring Ash.
"Noise, Raga Muffin?" Rosa asked sadly.
"You know it's a good thing that beauty isn't measured by personality. Because you three would be butt ugly and that's if you're lucky." Tai stated making them gasp.
"HOW DARE YOU!" Moira stated.
"Don't you know who we are?!" Mona asked.
"Not very pleasant, or nice in fact you're beauty is only skin deep!" Tai accused.
The girls gasped once more. "Of all the uncouth rude nerve!" Moira shouted, she glared but composed herself. "Come girls we won't allow this brat to bask in our beauty anymore."
Tai scoffed, "I could use a Milotic for that and get better results. Why do you want Dedenne anyway ever think maybe it's trying to get away from you!?"
"For our Troupe and she'd be much happier with people of the most attractive isn't that right Dedenne?" Mona asked. However Dedenne jumped out of Moira's arms free at last and dove into a trash can. Rolling around in it then jumped into a nearby plant and dug in the dirt then popped out covered in popcorn sticky soda and dirt looking like an absolute mess. Tai smiled getting what he was saying. Then to stick the point to home she struck with an orange colored electric attack that seemed to go back to him.
The girls sizzled for a second before running off shouting about how unattractive Dedenne was.
"That Dedenne is Dirty." Rosa stated as he walked over to them.
"Dede ne," he stated cheekily proud.
"You sure showed them." Tai stated rubbing the only clean part of Dedenne that remained which was his tail.
"Tai you can't encourage that!" Ash stated he then froze. "I just scolded you and what you did is was snarky!" Ash broke into a big grin and grabbed Tai in a tight hug. "I'm so glad you're starting to feel better!"
Tai immediately struggled but sadly. Ash took that as another sign of recovery and hugged him tighter. "Ash let go too much love!" he stated squirming out of the hug.
"Sorry." Ash replied.
"Hey I just realized Dedenne knows Parabolic Charge and dig!" Rosa stated.
"Yeah!" Tai stated. "I want to find out what other attacks it can use but we should probably clean up first."
"Right," the two replied. With stage cleaned up the group got to giving Dedenne a bath. Tai wanted to do most of the work however Rosa gave him a shampoo.
"This is really good for washing hair and getting out grim and dirt in a Pokémon's fur. And it's supposed to make a Pokémon's fur more soft and shiny too." She told him.
"Sound good Dedenne?" Tai asked.
"De ne ne ne!" he stated happily. Soon he was covered in bubbles and being scratched and scrubbed by Tai. Who was clearly enjoying the task and scrubbing Dedenne down.
"You like that?" Tai asked he nodded as he flicked up a couple of bubbles with his tail which Rio popped.
Eventually Dedenne was clean and dried off. "You look great!" Ash stated.
"De ne ne ne de!" he stated before running off.
"Dedenne wait!" Tai called, Ash and Rosa followed. In the kitchen Miror. B and his two goons had broken in and were now stuffing food into the bag. With that done they quickly rushed out, as Amantha Trip and Barry came in.
"Look all the foods gone!" Trip stated.
"WHAT?!" Barry and May shouted together.
"Oh no not this." Amantha stated.
"Hey look the door's open. Whoever did it might still be in the building. If we hurry we can catch them!" Barry stated.
"YEAH," May shouted rushing forward ready to tear the perpetrator to bits.

Miror currently in the process of trying to escape the building. Soon they saw Dedenne who was sprinting around the hall. It suddenly saw the Miror B Gang and growled at them.
"Who's that Pokémon?" Trudly asked.
"Who cares?" Miror B shouted snatching Dedenne up in a bag.
"DENE!" he yelped but was snatched into the bag. There was a slight crackling from within the bag but it didn't help.
"An Electric type eh? Sorry but we make sure that the bags are insulated to all kinds of attacks!" Folly sneered.
"Dedenne!" Tai shouted, they blanched when they saw Tai, Ash and Rosa there.
"Well if it isn't the brats!" Trudly stated.
"Give us whatever's in the bag and let Dedenne go!" Tai barked.
"Nice to see you're no longer caffeinated." Trudly scoffed at Tai.
"We don't have time for that we've been spotted we have to cut our loses and run Let's go escape!" Miror B. stated the trio ran off,
"Stop!" Ash shouted as they raced after them. "Buizel I choose you!"
"Get em Violet!" Rosa shouted.
"Blaze!" Tai called.
"Bui, bui!/Dewott!/Charmander!" they all called together chasing after them with their trainers back towards another stage.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket had snuck into the building. They looked around finding themselves on the stage and so far hadn't run into anyone. "No one's around not even the twerps." James mused.
"We can get away with anything right now!" Jessie stated venomously.
"Karoake?" Meowth asked making his human partners beam.
"YEAH!" they cheered.
"Turn it up to eleven!" James shouted.
Music started to blare as loudly as it could go. "You know us as Team Rocket and we fight for what is wrong but this time we'll be singing a song!"
"Wobbuffet!" he called spinning by.
"The Team Rocket song!"
"Come back here!" Tai shouted as the Miror B. Gang climbed the ladder into the back stage with the kids following.
"We may not have a high success rate but that's just fine!" They sang.
"So let's tink of a new plan to catch Pikachu!" Meowth sang.
"We won't give up till we're the stars of this cartoon!" Jessie sang as a battle began between Ariados Ludicolo and Exploud.
"Wobbuffet!"
"Dewa Hydro cannon!" Rosa called.
"Buizel Sonic Boom!" Ash called.
"Blaze Dragon pulse!" Tai called.
"Use Psychic!" Trudly stated Ariados managed to hit Blaze with his own Dragon pulse and sent him back into Tai. Dewa's hydro cannon hit him however, and Sonic Boom hit Ariados hard knocking him back on the cat walk. It groaned righting itself right away.
"Pikachu use Thunderbolt!" Ash shouted,
"PIKAAAA CHUUUU!" Pikachu managed to hit the three.
"Blaze do whatever Ash tells you to do!" Tai shouted as he climbed.
"Shooting across the stars at the speed of light. You'll never see us coming as we strike at the speed of light!" The Trio sung.
"The invincible unstoppable Team Rocket strikes hard and fast!" Meowth stated.
"YEAH!" They shouted together.
"So look out while you can!" Meowth stated.
"Look out Here we come!" Jessie sang.
Tai had managed to climb up above them as Pikachu, Buizel and Dewa fought of the group. The ensuing fight knocked the largest bag out of Trudly's hands and onto the ground by Team Rocket. Who were dancing Tai then suddenly jumped down on Folly to get Dedenne's bag. But Folly wasn't going to let go. That's when Tai suddenly bit hard on the part of Folly's shoulder that met his neck.
"AHHAHAHA! HE'S BITING MY NECK GET HIM OFF!" Folly shrieked flailing around as Ash Rosa Miror B. and Trudly stared in shock.
"No matter what we'll keep going. And fighting till that great day when Pikachu is ours! YEAHOO!" They each grabbed a banana and ate it as they sang. "We're singing the Team Rocket song!"
"Sixteen years a lot of hard work being blasted off!" James and Jessie stated dramatically holding a hand to their heads and fainting.
"Anyone up for joining up?" Meowth asked as he wheeled in a dry board.
"For the Glory of Team Rocket!" James stated pointing at the Draw board with his pointer.
Folly had just managed to get Tai off his back. However Tai held strong to the bag, "Let Dedenne go!" he growled.
"When we finally win promotions and expense accounts!" Jessie and James sang.
"More than we ever imagined or received!" Meowth stated.
"For the Glory of Team Rocket!" James sang cheerfully as he and Jessie did a little dance with Meowth hanging from their arms in the middle.
At this point Dewa Buizel Blaze and Pikachu had knocked out the three Pokemon. Ariados flew into Folly. "No matter what the field Fairy, grass electric what is fairy you ask well that's a secret for Gen six YEAH!" all three sang cheerfully.
"No matter what we face together we will charge through head first and come through so look out here we come it's Team Rocket!"
Tai growled kicking Folly in the gut. He let go of the bag as Dewa used Hydro Cannon on them. Then Blaze with an evil look in his eyes pulled a lever that opened a trap door under them. He laughed as Tai got Dedenne out of the bag. Meanwhile Miror B. and his two goons were caught in a confetti device that sent them flying right out the door.
"No matter what we'll keep going and fighting. Till that great day when Pikachu is ours! No matter what we face together we will charge through. Head first and come through so look out here we come it's Team Rocket!" they all sang as their Pokémon came up on platforms there was Seviper with a tambourine. Wobuffet on Drums Yanmega was playing the trumpet and Carnivine had a Clarinet.
"Wobba Wobuffet!(One more time!)" he jumped down and joined the others in a dance. "You know us as Team Rocket and we fight for what is wrong. But this time we'll be singing a song. Shooting across the stars you'll never see us coming as we strike at the speed of light. Look out here we come it's Team Rocket! The Team Rocket song!"
"Wobbuffet!" he pointed out to the audience there standing there dumbfounded were Barry and Trip.
"Thank you you've great audience!" Jessie sang.
"We're proud to share with you are one hit wonder!" James called.
"Thank you and good night everybody!" Meowth shouted as they raced off.
"That was extremely disturbing." Trip muttered.
"Yup sure was." Barry added then he saw the bag. "Hey all the stolen food! Now May doesn't have to kill the guys responsible!"
"Kill?" Trip asked blinking.
With the Miror B. Gang….
"Ooohhhhh Evil little Lizard!" Trudly gripped.
"We lost the Dedenne!" Miror B. groaned.
"And the food." Folly moaned.
"YOU, SO YOU'RE THE ONES THAT DID IT!" shrieked a voice they suddenly were staring into the furious eyes of May. Hoenn's Princess in all her Hungry food deprived glory. And to make matters worse for them her Mega Stone was glowing furiously. "GO Blaziken get em with FLARE BLITZ!" she shouted emerging from the light and Mega Evolving was Blaziken who glew a bright blue in fire.
"BLAZZZEEEKEEEEENNN!" he shouted rushing into them. The blue Fire ball that emerged from the blast being Miror B. Trudly and Folly were sent flying through an open window clear into the sky. And some way's away bouncing as they landed before skidding leaving glass splashes and a streak of glass behind them as they finally landed.
"Ow…" they muttered smoking.

Dedenne looked up at Amantha with an apologetic look. "Ne nene." He muttered ears drooping.
"I know you were just keeping yourself alive it's okay." Amantha replied. "I was going to have Nurse Joy either take you back to Kalos or find a new trainer for you. But I see you took care of that yourself." She replied looking at Tai.
"Ded ne nene!" he cheered nodding happily he rushed over to Tai. "NE NEE!" he shouted jumping into Tai's arms.
"Welcome to the family Blitz! You've gotta meet the others now come on out!" Tai shouted throwing his pokeballs into the air. Revealing Geon Muddy Blaze and Spike who cheered as Rio pointed to their new team mate. "This is our new friend Blitz!" Tai shouted as he laughed Blitz was now climbing all over him. "Blitz come on that tickles! Ha ha ha!"
Everyone especially Ash watched happily as Tai seemed to finally begin healing.
Ariados learns Psychic at level 46 or he can learn it TM 29 Dedenne learns Dig via TM 28 and Parabolic Charge at level 17
Bask in the glory that is my mediocre song writing skills although I have to admit I'm pleased with how the two songs here turned out the Team Rocket song was inspired by the Anime song Maemuki Rokketo Dan which literally translates to 'Look ahead Team Rocket" it's a fun song plus I like it when the Characters sing so I probably like the Atlantica portion in Kingdom Hearts II more than some people I actually wanna hear Sara Natochenny sing with Ash's voice just cause I wanna know what it sounds like
