officer- this interview is just to hel with our inquiries our interview willbe recoreded and ill write everything you say down then at the end you can have a look make sure everythings right then i will need you to sign it do you understand

the police officer asked tilly nodded

officer- the time is 12:05pm and the date is october 11th 2026 miss evans is present at this interview and is being interviewed by officer chase for the recored of the tape do you miss tilly evans understand the questions i have asked you so far

tilly- i do

officer- so can you tell me what you are to miss gilmore please

tilly thought for a minuet and remebered jen would always diney there relationship plus its the police so she might get scared

tilly- i am miss gilmores freind

the police officer nodded and started writting down

officer- can you tell me what happened in your version please

tilly tried to remeber every little bit of detale to try and help with there investigation

tilly- i have a son who is 14 years old and he had football training this morning and jen sorry miss gilmore asked if she could wait for me to come back so i said yes as i wouldnt be long and i took him and on the way back i got us some dinner as we hadnt really eaten much and i drove home me and miss gilmore was upstairs talking and then she needed to go to the loo so she opened the door to go to the toilet but when she opened the door there was smoke everywhere and she shouted "tilly look at this" so i looked at my halway was full of smoke so we tried to stay in the room but the smoke was getting worse so miss gilmore told me that were going to have to run to the bathroom as we wouldnt servive much longer if we stayed there so we ran and we started wetting he washing sheets, towles anything that we could lay our hands on then thats when i phoned 999 then i remebered my sons guennie pig i said i had to go but miss gilmore said that she would go then next thing i knew was she colapsed outside the bathroom door i dragged her in as fast as i could and tried to hold her up to the open window to get some air and finally she came round then she said were going to have to run out and outside and without thinking we did it and we were outside and the olice fire braged and ambulances were there

the police officer nodded writting notes down

officer- "this might sound weird but have you got any freinds that would do this or people you have had arguments with latley anything like that"

tilly thought for a moment then shook her head

"no i dont know anyone like that or had arguments with latley"
