With Naruto and Spike
Naruto and Spike were exhausted but weren't going to let themselves be defeated by Aeron and Marduk. They were smirking.
"Had enough yet?" Naruto asked.
"What are you talking about?" Aeron asked.
"Look at you. You look tired and you look a little bit afraid. That tells me you know you're gonna lose." Naruto said as he pointed his finger and the demonic duo. The scorpions were getting a little agitated by the obnoxious blonde.
"So, being a little smart aleck, huh?" Marduk asked, gritting his teeth. He and Aeron then clap their claws together and slam them on the ground. "I hate people like you." They then make several spikes as they come towards the Jinchuriki.
"Naruto…" Spike said.
"I know." Naruto's eyes turned to Sage Mode and with his strength, he broke through the spikes.
'His eyes are different. We have to be careful.' Aeron thought. Naruto then ran at the demons with two Rasengan. They got ready to strike but unexpectedly, he moved behind them quickly. 'How did he get behind us?'
"Sage Art: Rasengan Barrage!" Naruto shouted as he slammed a Rasengan into each scorpion sending them flying. Spike jumped into the air and turned into Version 1 state. He then kicked the demons into the forest. Spike then made a shadow clone. They both made a Tailed Beast Ball and sent them into the forest where the original Spike kicked the demons to. A small but powerful explosion occurred where the ball erupted at. Spike's clone then disappeared as Spike touched the ground.
"Nice job bro." Naruto said as he fist-bumped Spike.
"Thanks. So, you think we got them?" Spike asked.
"Not sure. That attack wasn't powerful by a full Biju's standard but it should be enough to stun them for a bit." To their shock, Aeron and Marduk walked out of the forest almost unscathed but it was shown that part of their face was gone and what was underneath looked similar to a Jinchuriki's appearance in Version 2 state except it was black-and-red instead of just red. It looked more frightening than a Jinchuriki with the Version 2 chakra cloak on.
"You brats! You've torn off our faces!" Marduk shouted.
'What is up with them?' Spike thought.
"You really believe that attack would do a whole lot? Well, here's a big one." The two demons then charged a very big Tailed Beast Ball.
"This isn't good!" Spike said as the ball was almost complete. But before it could be launched, Roshi, surrounded in a cloak of lava, punched Marduk and Aeron square on and knocked them away. The ball then dissipated. "Old Man Roshi, you made it!"
"Sorry I'm late! I should have left sooner. I was worried about the survivors so I didn't leave. The Royal Guards said they were capable of handling the situation. I also found the same guards that you sent earlier." Roshi said.
Flashback
Roshi found the guards on the cliff.
"Hey, you guys alright?" Roshi asked the guards. Roshi checked their injuries. 'They're in bad shape. I need to get them patched up.' One of the guards woke up.
"You...you need to help your friends. They're in danger." The guard weakly said.
"Was it the scorpions? The ones Magic Star warned about?"
"Yes. We also found the location of the stone. It is found in a mound about 3 miles northwest of here." The guard then passed out again. Some of the other guards arrived and saw the conditions of their friends.
"I'm going to help them! You guys get them treated right away! Contact Celestia about the situation!"
End Flashback
"They were in bad shape but they might live." Roshi said to Naruto. He remembered finding them up on a cliff that looked over the town. He saw they had bad injuries but they could be treated. Naruto breathed in relief that they were okay. Marduk was holding the sizzling spot where Roshi had hit him at.
"Not bad old man. But…it's going to take more than a punch to kill us." Marduk said, now angrier. Roshi got ready along with Naruto and Spike. On their chests, a dim light glowed
Sunset Town Ruins
The injured guards had bandages on their wounds. They were really harmed but they appear to be stable.
"They seem to be alright." Magic's mother said. One of the guards grunted a little before he opened his eyes to find the survivors looking at him.
"Hey mister, how you feel?" Magic Star asked.
"I feel like a Parasprite that's been squished by a Hydra." The guard jokingly stated. He then winced from the pain. "What happened?"
"Mr. Roshi found you guys and brought you here!" Magic stated.
"Take it easy. You and the others took quite a beating from those demons." One of the remaining uninjured guards said.
"You don't know the full extent. I think they went easy on us."
"What?"
"Judging by the amount of explosions I heard, that tells me that that the Jinchuriki are going full-force against them. When we fought those demons, they barely did anything. It's insulting that we couldn't put up much of a fight. But I believe if they use 100% of their powers, we wouldn't be here now. There's something about those demons I just can't explain. When I looked in one of those demons' eyes, I saw something else. I saw some other eye looking at me. It was just oozing out malice and hate. More so than even Nightmare Moon or Discord." This made everyone else a bit worried about the team and they were right.
With Kinkaku and Ginkaku
Kinkaku and Ginkaku couldn't land a single hit on the last three demons.
"They seem angrier, Kinkaku." Ginkaku said.
"Indeed." Kinkaku stated.
"You bastards are going to pay for hurting our sisters. It will be my day making you suffer." Hezabel growled.
"And how do you think those innocent people felt? When they felt their lives about to be cut short by your actions!?" Ginkaku shouted. Just like the others, a dim glint appeared on his and Kinkaku's chest.
"Their lives are insignificant, Jinchuriki. All about peace and foolishness. It makes me sick to my stomach just watching them. Even more to see you siding with them."
"Back then, if we saw this, we wouldn't have cared one bit. But that knucklehead blonde changed us. Now that we see this, we have more incentive to take you out." Ginkaku said, his eyes becoming slitted and focused. Kurama was also listening and he also believed Ginkaku's words.
"I'm with Ginkaku on this one." Kinkaku said.
"Hmm, be that way. Either way, you'll end up like them." Maia and Marise headed right for Ginkaku while Hezabel went after Kinkaku.
"Bring it on." Ginkaku said.
"If you insist." Marise said as she tried to slice Ginkaku but he stepped back and charged lightning and did a thrust punch but Marise avoided the punch by jumping into the air and made a Tailed Beast Ball. Marise launched the ball but Ginkaku quickly turned into Version 2 state and made a Tailed Beast Ball. He then deflected Marise's ball with his ball and sent them flying into the air. "Not bad Jinchuriki."
"Thanks." Ginkaku sensed Maia right behind him so he used the Version 2's cloak unique ability to stretch to avoid her spear attack.
Biju Encyclopedia:
If a Jinchuriki is in Version 2 state, their body has been noted to be able to stretch to increase their speed or their limbs to strengthen their attacks.
"Bashoshen! Coil of Water!" Kinkaku shouted as he waved the fan and summoned a huge amount of water. The water just splashed on the scorpions and engulfed Ginkaku, obscuring him from view. The water settled and the demons were standing on the water.
"Really? Is that all you got? Just a little bit of water?" Marise tauntingly asked Kinkaku. Kinkaku only grinned as he jumped out of the water.
"Lightning Style: Lightning Stream!" Ginkaku shouted as he shocked the water.
"Gahhhh!" The scorpions shouted as the lightning through their whole body. Kinkaku made two Summonings. An ushi-oni was channeling more lightning with Ginkaku while the crab made more water.
"Good. They can't escape as long as the lightning is shocking them. Keep it up you two!" Kinkaku told the two summons.
"Understood!" The crab replied.
"Go for it!" The ushi-oni shouted. Ginkaku summoned a wasp who then took Kinkaku and Ginkaku into the air. Kinkaku then turned into Version 2 state. The demons looked up to see Kinkaku and Ginkaku combine their powers together to form a Tailed Beast Ball. Kinkaku then combined lightning with the ball.
"Lightning Style: Tailed Beast Ball!" The brothers shouted as they launched the ball down at the three demons. The ushi-oni and the crab fled away from the ball quickly by withdrawing back to their village. The ball then fell on the scorpions and detonated on them. The wasp tried to keep stable against the explosion.
"Amazing job you two. You managed to defeat them." The wasp commended the duo.
"Thank you. Head on home." Ginkaku stated. The wasp nodded and went back. Kinkaku and Ginkaku both dropped to the ground. As they both were about to leave, three spears of darkness flew out of the smoke and almost got the brothers. Luckily, they both dodged the spears.
"Still alive? You sisters are quite persistent." Kinkaku said as he looked at the smoke.
"Hehehe. We're surprised by your power." Hezabel said.
"You two are the strongest opponents we've faced since the ruling days of Discord." Maia added.
"To think pseudo-jinchuriki have this much power despite only having a fraction of a Biju's chakra." Marise also stated.
"You make it sound like we outmatch you in every way." Kinkaku stated.
"I feel like we need to get serious." Hezabel said as the smoke started to clear. "And to do that…" Kinkaku and Ginkaku both observed the demons emerged from the smoke and were in a black-and-red Version 2 cloak instead of a red cloak. "…We need to use that same power!" Kinkaku and Ginkaku were both shocked.
"Dark Release: Dark Sword." The three demons said as they retracted the spears and formed swords.
With Naruto, Roshi, and Spike
The three Jinchuriki rushed at the twin scorpions. Naruto threw a kunai which had a paper bomb attached. The bomb blew up at Aeron's face. Naruto and Spike both had a Rasengan. Marduk gathered chakra and roared at the duo knocking them back.
'Gah, what power.' Naruto thought as he and Spike went flying. Roshi used Naruto's distraction to attack by turning into Version 1 state. He then started fighting Marduk. Marduk was blocking his attacks. Roshi then kneed him in the face followed by a straight punch to the jaw.
'Uggh, pretty strong for an old man.' Marduk thought as he was getting pummeled. Before Roshi could land another hit, Aeron emerged and elbowed Roshi knocking him towards Naruto. As Naruto got up, he saw Roshi come flying. The two Jinchuriki ran against each other and hit the ground.
"Guys, you okay?" Spike asked his comrades.
"Never take your eyes off your opponents, dragon." Aeron eerily said. Spike turned to see Aeron's face completely gone and the whole black-and red Version 2-like cloak was the only thing on his face. Aeron then used his tail to slap Spike with such strength, he almost felt a tooth come loose. He came right by Naruto and Roshi.
"Darn. That hurts." Spike said.
"Enough of these foolish games. Once we find that stone, we're taking you lot." Aeron said as he and Marduk formed swords out of dark chakra. Aeron's face then regenerated. They rushed at the Jinchuriki. The three Jinchuriki got and started to block their sword attacks. Roshi and Spike then saw their Version 1 cloaks being sucked away. Naruto's Sage Mode was being taken away as well. The Jinchuriki were in shock and stepped away. All of them felt a big chunk of chakra was stolen and felt exhausted.
"Those swords took our chakra. Dark chakra is really bad, huh?" Spike said.
"Not just that. Darkness is said to obliterate things into nothing. All things around us are nothing to our powers. Just like you." Aeron boldly stated. Aeron formed a slash of air which sliced the Jinchuriki.
"Kuh!" Naruto shouted as he felt his chakra being drained.
"You feel it, don't you? Your chakra is being sucked away bit by bit. Eventually, you'll run out and its game over." The two scorpions turned their sword back into a mass of darkness.
"Dark Release: Dark Lance!" The two demons said as their darkness turned into multiple lances. The weapons then all zeroed on the Jinchuriki as they looked on.
Meanwhile, Kinkaku and Ginkaku
Kinkaku countered Hezabel's dark sword with the Seven Star Sword. Kinkaku was panting and severely exhausted. He lost his Version 2 cloak.
"You seem to be getting tired, Golden Horn." Hezabel said.
"I'm not down yet." Kinkaku confidently said.
"Heh, bold words for a man that's about to die." She then swung the sword at Kinkaku only for him to duck and kick the demon back.
"Ginkaku, how you holding up!?" Kinkaku shouted. Ginkaku fared no better than Kinkaku. His Version 2 cloak was also sucked up.
"Not so good." Ginkaku said.
"Darn it, we're at a sticky situation. We may not have enough chakra to use Lightning style." Kinkaku said to Ginkaku as the two brothers were back-to-back again.
"Keep it together Kinkaku. We promised we would defeat these demons and make them pay. The real Kinkaku wouldn't complain. He would stand up to the challenge until the very end." Ginkaku said.
"Right." The demons then brought their swords across their bodies.
"Dark Release: Inhaling Void!" The three demons said as they slashed the ground at once and formed darkness all around them. The darkness then advanced on Kinkaku and Ginkaku. They managed to jump into the air before the darkness consumed the ground they stood on. They noticed a squirrel was touched by the darkness and it was being sucked in. It was calling out for help but was soon consumed.
'It swallowed that squirrel whole. I don't think Fluttershy would have liked that if she was here.' Ginkaku thought. Unexpectedly, the darkness rose up into the air and came after the brothers. Using quick wit, Ginkaku managed to gather enough remaining chakra to enter Version 1 state. He then grabbed Kinkaku and launched a chakra arm to a tree. They then both headed towards the tree before the darkness caught them.
"Nice job Ginkaku." Kinkaku said, complimenting his brother's speed. Before Ginkaku could comment, the darkness came after them. They were forced to retreat through the woods.
"You won't get away from us that easily." Hezabel said as she and her sisters had the darkness go after them. Kinkaku and Ginkaku tried using several attacks to stop the darkness but every time it would just swallow it up. "Try all you want! That darkness won't stop until it swallows you whole!" Kinkaku and Ginkaku had to find a way to destroy the darkness.
With Naruto, Spike, and Roshi
When the smoke cleared from the dark lances, it was shown that the three Jinchuriki had disappeared.
"They're gone." Marduk said.
"They must have teleported right before the lances struck them." Aeron said. The Jinchuriki were going through the woods.
"I can't believe we're running!" Spike stated.
"We have no other choice! We can't touch them without their dark chakra absorbing our chakra." Roshi shouted.
"We need to regroup with the others and think of a plan." Naruto said. Suddenly, a volley of a Tailed Beast chakra blasts came right at them. They dodged the attacks and kept moving. As they kept dodging, they see Kinkaku and Ginkaku.
"Guys!" Naruto shouted until he saw they were being chased by the darkness. "What the heck is that?"
"Don't touch it! If it gets a hold of you, you'll get sucked in!" Ginkaku shouted. More chakra blasts homed in on them and the darkness was getting closer. So, they all bolted south making the blasts and the darkness collide.
"That was close!" Spike shouted. But, the darkness was still coming. "Oh, c'mon!"
"Roshi, we could use a plan!" Ginkaku shouted.
"I'm thinking." Roshi said as he rubbed his temples until he got a plan. "That's it! Naruto, form shadow clones and have them scatter throughout the forest!" Naruto nodded and formed multiple shadow clones. He then had them scatter in multiple directions. The darkness then went in many directions after the clones.
"Nice going Roshi." Spike said. But as they kept moving, they hear laughter.
"Ta-ta! Bye-bye Jinchuriki!" Hezabel taunted as a giant Tailed Beast Ball tore through the forest and blew up right by the Jinchuriki. As the dust cleared, the scorpions could clearly see Naruto had managed to block the attack from the others by partly transforming into Version 2 state and used the tails to cover them. But, he was down and was holding his arm while the rest of the Jinchuriki were nearby and unable to move an inch.
'My arm!' Naruto thought.
"They're still alive." Aeron said to the other scorpions.
"It doesn't matter." Hezabel said. She snapped her fingers and the darkness returned. The darkness then returned to sword form.
With Kurama and Son Goku
Kurama and Son Goku were still commencing their assault on Samael. Samael jabbed his weapon at Son Goku. Son Goku grabbed the weapon despite its properties and head-butted Samael. Samael dropped the weapon and it disappeared.
"Darn you! Why are you guys still standing? I sucked away a good amount of your chakra. You should be down." Samael said.
"Don't underestimate us tailed beasts. A couple of weapons won't be enough to stop us! Now, step down or will squash you!" Son Goku declared as he put his fist in his palm.
"Oh really? If you're so tough, then how could the Shinobi seal you all away?" Son Goku growled but Kurama stopped his brother from acting reckless.
"Don't listen to him Son. How do you know that? How do you about us? And how does Discord know about the Sage of Six Paths?" Kurama asked.
"Why don't you ask the Sage that? Oh, that's right. He's been dead for thousands of years now. Your precious 'father' has been hiding stuff from you all."
"You're lying. He would never do that to us." Kurama growled.
"Don't make me laugh. It was foolish enough to believe he could end Ten-Tails all on his own. And, it was foolish to leave nine Biju all alone in the world so the Shinobi could use you for weapons. Face it; he never gave you happy lives. He made you all miserable." Kurama's eyes narrowed in fury.
"Don't insult the Sage. He made us all happy no matter what happened. We're going to make you take back what you said. We're ending this now!" Kurama and Son Goku got on all fours.
With the Jinchuriki
"We're ending this now." Aeron said as he and his kin came closer to the Jinchuriki. Naruto struggled to look up and saw the demons come closer.
"Listen to your friend, Naruto Uzumaki. It was foolish to think you could defeat us. Face it, the moment you challenged us to a battle, you were doomed to death." Naruto was showing a defiant glare but he knew he felt weak.
'Darn it! I'm almost empty.' Naruto thought as he laid on the ground.
"Aw! The little kid thinks he can still win! Well, it's time I gave you a long dirt nap." Hezabel started to approach the Jinchuriki.
'I won't let them win! I won't!' Naruto thought. Hezabel was right above him.
"It's all over." Hezabel said as she raised her sword above the Jinchuriki.
"Naruto!" The others shouted as they saw Hezabel about to finish him off. As Hezabel slashed the sword down, Naruto's eyes turned orange and his chest grew bright. He then grabbed the sword.
"What!?" Aeron shouted.
"Impossible!" Maia also shouted. Naruto stood up as he kept his grip on the weapon. He didn't say a word.
"You still have more chakra. Well, it doesn't…" Hezabel suddenly gasped as the darkness wasn't taking any of Naruto's chakra. Naruto gripped the sword until the sword was crushed and the darkness dissipated.
"Guys, remember: Shinobi must always have the guts to never give up!" Naruto stated. Before Hezabel could respond, Naruto punched her and knocked her by her kin.
"Naruto, how did you…?" Kinkaku asked the Jinchuriki.
"I don't know. It must have formed when it sensed we were in despair." Naruto looked at chest. "Guys, this is our chance. We can't ever give up! Never! Now, let's teach these jokers a lesson they'll never forget!" Somehow, the guys also got the same thing and their chests glowed bright. They were confused by what was happening but they knew Naruto was helping. They felt their chakra was regenerating and they stood up.
'Even in the face of despair, he doesn't lose hope.' Ginkaku thought.
'Heh, that's my bro.' Spike thought.
With Kurama and Son Goku
Kurama and Son Goku also had the same thing happen to them.
"What?" Samael asked.
"This power. It's just like…" Kurama said as he remembered when the girls merged their powers with Kokuou's power. But instead of Kokuou, it was coming from Naruto. "Naruto, are you doing this?"
Jinchuriki and Biju's House, Ponyville
Everyone was waiting for news from Naruto and the others. Suddenly, the Jinchuriki and Biju levitated in the air and their chests glowed bright.
"What the?" Fu asked.
"Oh…Are you doing some sort of magic trick?" Pinkie Pie asked excitedly.
"No, nothing like that." Shukaku said. He and the others then saw Team Foxes and Team Monkeys fighting the demonic scorpions.
"What the? Our telepathy doesn't work from this far a distance." Gyuki said.
"It's not telepathy. More like a vision." Matatabi stated.
"What are they fighting? Are…those scorpions?" Twilight asked.
"You think they might have destroyed the town?" Rarity asked.
"Possibly. But, for them to be fighting like that proves that these demons are strong." Kokuou stated. Suddenly, Celestia and Luna teleported into the house.
"Celestia! Luna!" Kokuou said.
"We heard about what's going on! We need to hurry and back them up!" Celestia shouted.
'Whoa. When did she grow so serious?' Kokuou thought.
With the Jinchuriki
Hezabel stood up and glared at Naruto.
"We're not backing down! I don't know what's happening but…this is our chance to stop this! Kinkaku, Ginkaku, Spike, Roshi, let's end this! Together!"
"Right!" Shouted the rest of the Team Foxes and Roshi.
Ponyville
"Twilight, you think you have enough juice to teleport us there?" Shukaku asked.
"It might drain me a lot! But its worth a shot!" Twilight exclaimed.
"Let's go people!" Rainbow Dash shouted.
"Got it!" The others said. Luna, Celestia, and Twilight concentrated their magic while everyone joined hands to be involved in the teleportation.
"You guys better win! If not, I'll beat you later on!" Shukaku said as the combined magic surrounded everyone.
Next chapter-The final part of the fight between Team Foxes, Team Monkeys, and the scorpions led by Samael is underway. Team Foxes and Team Monkeys use their new mysterious powers to turn the tide of their battle. As the Princesses and the rest of the heroes rush to Sunset Town to aid in the fight and the demons are on the point of losing, the true cause of the heroes' problems so far is revealed and may spell disaster for the future of Equestria.
