"Our new patients rarely get any visitors around the holidays, it's so nice to see things change. We were told she didn't have anyone close," I looked at the nurse and smiled, "I'm an old friend and very close to someone she knows, I heard she was admitted here and I figured I needed to pay her visit...you know see how she's doing since everything that happened." The nurse nodded with a sympathetic expression, "I don't know much about her backstory they've kept her file very hush hush so whatever it is I hope she pulls through."

I nodded at her in silence, tucking her clipboard under her arm she sighed and smiled, "well let me get you your visitors pass Mr Morrison and theN I'll show you to Becca's room." She sat down behind the counter and began typing away at a few things on her computer before turning around to grab a plastic badge and placing it on the counter in front of me. "Alright well if you'll just follow me," the nurse said happily walking out from behind the nurses station and gestured for me to follow her down the hall, after a few turns here and there we came to a stop in front of room 3008. "I'll leave you to some time, we can only allow up to 15 minutes of in room visits...policy I apologize" I shook my head, "no worries, 15 minutes...will be just fine" I replied. The nurse gave me a small smile before turning around and walking back down the hall and turning the corner leaving me alone.

I turned to face the closed door, my expression going dark, and stone as I lifted my hand to the handle and pushed the door open. Becca turned around in her seat at the small desk in her room, her brow furrowed as she stared at me,"w-who are you?" she asked. A smile grew across my face as I closed the door behind me quietly locking it without her hearing it, "my name is Collin and I believe you know my Ally..." I said smirking as I moved further into the room not taking my eyes off her. Her eyes widened as she stood from her seat and backed away from me into the corer of the room, "wh-what do you want? H-how do you know about Ally Dawson?" she asked terrified now...good.

"Oh Becca Becca Becca, when it comes to Ally I know everything, and when I came to find that you broke into her apartment and attacked her...well that just didn't sit right with me. And since that piece of shit rockstar did nothing but send you here to get some help, I figured I had to be the one to clean up the..mess." I sneered, she was shaking now as she cowered in the corner, "wh-what do you want from me, please p-please don't hurt me" she begged as tears streamed down her face. I knelt down in front of her grasping her chin between my thumb and finger, "first I want to know how you got passed security and into her apartment...and then we'll see if I'm going to hurt you" I breathed into her ear.

Her whole body shook as she began to cry even harder, "I'm s-sorry p-please..." I covered her mouth shaking my head, "you've got 5 minutes start talking now..."

knock knock knock, Alex rapped on the De La Rosa front door before returning to clutching the case of wine he was currently juggling in one arm, I giggled as I hiked my purse over my shoulder while holding one of my homeade apple pies. The door swung open revealing a very happy Marco, "eyy! Feliz Navidad!" he chimed happily as he opened the door wider to let us in, "hey Marco man, Merry Christmas!" Alex greeted him setting the case down on the floor to shake his hand and pull him into a hug. "Alex good to see you, Ally love, looking beautiful as always Merry Christmas" Marco said to me kissing both my cheeks and pulling me into a friendly hug.

"Merry Christmas to you too Marco" I greeted back, he took the pie from my hands as we headed down the hall to the kitchen and family room where everyone else was. "Where's Austin?" he asked, "spending Christmas with his family of course, we're going to spend tomorrow together at my apartment have the group over for dinner, movies and exchanging of presents" I explained. Marco nodded with a warm smile as we entered the kitchen to only be greeted by a loud chorus of "Merry Christmas's" and "Feliz Navidads" from Trish's entire family. Ever since I moved to Miami and became friends with Trish when Alex was visiting for the holidays we started celebrating with Trish's family and Kira's since the two grew up together. It definitely was something different and very much needed for Alex and I since our family was no where near as big and well as close either.

"So I'm surprised you don't have your security entourage with you tonight" Trish teased as the three of us sat in front of the fireplace sipping on hot coco, dinner was finished and the men were getting ready to start a game of poker while the women started to prepare all the desserts. I giggled and shook my head, "trust me it was a hard argument but there was no way I was having them come here with me when I already had my brother watching my back not to mention ummm hello..." I said gesturing to all the people that were there. Trish and Kira laughed, "it's sweet though how protective Austin is of you Ally, no matter how crazy and over the top he can get with it, he's so madly in love with you I honestly think it would kill him if something ever happened to you," Kira said. I stared at the dancing flames in the fireplace nodding my head slowly, "I know and I'm so in love with him, but sometimes it's like he forgets that I'm a grown woman and as of until 6 months ago I was taking care of myself just fine" I said.

The two of them nodded, "your right Ally, but 6 months ago Collin wasn't going all stalker status on you...well actually yea maybe he was, and you didn't have some psycho bitch fan crazy girl stalking you, breaking into your home, shooting at you..." Trish claimed. I sighed, "yea, who knew all that would come with dating Austin Moon..." I forced a laugh that immediately fell silent, "that's not what comes with dating him Ally, Collin is obsessed with you and I honestly think he thought you would never leave him because of how many chances you gave him, he knew you loved him I just don't he knew that you had a breaking point to it all. And well Becca, yea I've got nothing for that except that she shouldn't of expected a rockstar to take her virginity and then fall in love with her, so her crazy head and thoughts is a whole other ball game" Kira said.

""Enough talk about crazy exes...changing subjects now" Trish said, "What are we doing for Alex before he leaves?" she asked. My heart dropped at her words and I looked down at my hot chocolate, I shook my head shutting my eyes tight as I tried to fight back the tears, "I-I don't want to even think about it" I whispered. "Oh Ally" Kira said softly scooting closer to me and wrapping her arm around my shoulder, as Trish scooted to me on the other side, "you know he's going to be just fine Alls, and before you know it he'll be home again and this time for good" Trish whispered. I sniffed and nodded my head, "he's the only family I have left, I don't want to loose him" I said softly, the girls leaned their heads against mine, "he may be your only blood family Alls but you'll always have us girls, you got the guys now and you have Austin, we'll be here for you we'll keep you busy and soon itll be a year later and we'll be at the airport welcoming him home."

I smiled and wrapped my arms around them, "you girls are the best friends anyone could ever ask for I love you" I said between sobs, they laughed and held me tighter as we all cried like a bunch of babies. "But I'm not gonna do a party or anything, maybe we can all go out to dinner but Alex and I already talked and we're gonna spend New Years Eve together since I'll be taking him to the airport the next day. I don't want to be at a party or out on the town we just want a nice brother-sister Dawson night of movies, junk food and crap t.v." I explained.

"So what did you get Austin for Christmas because I know with how busy you've been you haven't really been able to go shopping with us," Trish asked as the three of us loaded up the dishwasher and cleaned up the kitchen. I smiled to myself before answering, "ummm just a few things, I kind of went all arts and crafts this year but I think or well I hope he'll like them" I replied. Trish and Kira exchanged a look with one another before smirking and turning to me, "oh really and are you going to fill in two of your best friends?" Trish asked, I laughed and then nodded. "Austin asked me to move in with him a little while ago," I began but before I could continue I was covering my ears by the squeals and screams of two said best friends.

"Oh my god! Did you say yes!?" Kira squealed, Trish rolled her eyes at her, "obviously not we would of known...but wait, that's one of your gifts to him?" she asked wide eyed as a huge smile spread across her face. I smiled biting my lip and nodding, "I love him, he loves me and I can honestly say I've never felt like this before not even with Collin...I-I dunno I see my future with him you guys...and boy does it scare the hell out of me. But when I'm with him I feel safe, I feel..." my words trailed off, "...complete" Kira finished for me and I could no longer keep the huge grin off my face, I nodded, "complete" I repeated.

"Oh Ally this is so exciting...okay so that's obviously the big gift which means you have to give him that or tell him that last, what else are you doing for him?" Kira asked as the three of us returned to the living room where Marco and Alex were talking. "Oh you telling them you Christmas gifts for Aus?" Alex asked as I sat down next to him, he threw his arm over my shoulder as I nodded. "Pretty awesome that my little sis is going to like an old married woman with our rockstar isn't it ladies?" he teased, the girls giggled as Marco rolled his eyes and laughed. I nudged Alex in the ribs, "anyways, Dez also helped me make a scrap book photo album of pictures of me and him and all of us since we all met, I figured something he could take along with him on trips and tours that we can't all attend" I said. The girls smiled and nodded agreement, "although I doubt Austin will ever allow a trip that you couldn't come along on" Alex piped up, I laughed "yea I can see that but, with my career starting to take off it's eventually going to happen, he's gonna have to deal with it sooner or later."

"Awww Ally he's going to love them, I can't wait to hear about what he thought" Kira said dreamily, I giggled. "Hey so what time do you want us all over tomorrow?" Trish asked, I looked at Alex who just shrugged, "your apartment your decision" Bzzz Bzzz, I dug my phone out of my back pocket smiling as I unlocked it to see a message from Austin:

I don't think I've gone this long without seeing you since we got together, hope your having a wonderful Christmas baby, I still wish you two came here with me :(

I shook my head giggling and began a reply back, "uh oh looks like lover boy has stolen her away from us for a few minutes" Alex said reading over my shoulder. I laughed and pushed him away as I continued to reply:

We'll see each other tomorrow and I can't wait, I hope you and the family are having a good Christmas too, we just finished cleaning up so we're just sitting around the fire talking, I think Alex and I are going to head home soon I'm getting tired.

Almost immediately I received a reply:

Be careful driving home, and text me the moment your home, I can't wait to see you tomorrow baby, I've had a couple beers here so I'm gonna crash at my parents...I love you.

I smiled, "you ready to head out Alls I'm done in" Alex said standing up to stretch, I nodded "yea I'm good to go." Hugging the girls and Marco goodbye at the door, "I'll call you girls tomorrow to let you know what time" I said, they both nodded, "drive carefully Ally and I may sound like Austin when I say this, but please be alert you haven't heard from Collin in a while and he's still out there" Trish said. I nodded, "I will, see you tomorrow" with one last hug to them and their families that were still concious Alex and I made our way out to my car. I pulled out my phone to send one more text:

Glad to know your safe, and I promise I'll let you know when were home...I love you too xoxo.

Placing my phone in the center console, I started up the car and backed out of Trish's driveway and headed back home to my apartment.

Dude I'm here come let me in

I hit send and leaned against the wall outside Ally's apartment, a couple minutes later I heard the rattle of the chain and the click of the lock on the door. The door creaked open revealing a disheveled and still half asleep Alex, "dude you are so lucky I like you" he groaned opening the door wider to let me in, I laughed as I walked passed him patting him on the shoulder, "is she still sleeping?" I asked. He nodded his head letting out a loud yawn, "yea, it is after all 6am" he stated, I shrugged, "well usually she's up for her jog," I said, Alex laughed, "true but we didn't go home til late and when we did get home we stayed up talking annnnd it's the day after Christmas she's not gonna go on her run today."

I stared at him for a moment, "how is she doing you know with you leaving?" I asked, Alex sighed and stared down at the floor, "to be honest man I dunno, anytime it gets brought up she shuts it out...I mean I don't blame her but she's really taking this deployment the hardest so far." I nodded, "maybe it's because of everything that has gone on these past few months not to mention bro you did just get home what 5 months ago." Alex raised his eyebrows letting out a huff, "yea well it's what comes with the job...but this is my last one after that I'm home for good," he said, he glanced up at me and smirked, "listen Austin I know Ive said it before but I'm really glad she has you, your a great guy and the two of you, well your good for eachother...she's going to feel alone at times while I'm gone, she's going to lash out, she's going to break down a couple times but knowing that your going to be there for her and she's going to have the girls and the guys to help her...I just want to say thank you."

I smiled and scratched the back of my neck, "I actually want to talk to you about that" I said, Alex's eyebrows furrowed as he leaned against the arm of the couch, "yea what's up?" he asked. I smiled and sat down on the chair in front of him, "listen I know we've only known each other 5 months..."

Agh I know it's not as long as I hoped but I already started the next chapter, I'm going to a ball tonight yes a ball I'm super excited if you follow me on twitter I'll be posting a picture of my dress, I'm gonna try and have the new chapter up before I have to start getting my hair done because it's a continuation of this chapter, if I can't get it up it will for sure be up Sunday and it will be awesome and lone and AWESOME lol
