The Amazons Arc
A/N: Goku and Ichigo head out with the Honda and Crimson forces to the lands of the Amazons. However, numerous forces begin to act endangering the Amazon's peaceful rule. Who are these threats? Find out in 'Chapter 37: Meeting the Amazons.'

Chapter 37: Meeting the Amazons
Hundreds of people march around the main spaceship hanger. Goku and Ichigo enter the hanger, watching as the soldiers prepare the ships for departure. Goku smirks as he cracks his knuckles, knowing another adventure is up ahead.
"Well, I'm ready to go," said Goku.
"We still need to wait for our allies," said Ichigo as Goku places two fingers on his forehead.
"And what are you doing?" asked Ichigo.
"We should head off and wait for them there," said Goku.
"And where would you go?" asked Ichigo as Goku stops for a moment.
Goku laughs while rubbing the back of his head. Ichigo nods his head side-to-side, but a sudden clearing of a throat catches both of their attention.
Noboru, the eldest son of Kazuki approaches the two knights, stopping in front of them shortly after.
"Master Goku, Master Ichigo, it is nice to know that both of you will accompany us on this mission," said Noboru.
"Noboru," said Goku as another person approaches the group.
"It is Lord Noboru to you," said Gerard.
Soon, Ren and Eckart join the group, stopping in front of the others.
"You'll be going too? Awesome," said Goku as another person shows.
"So will I, and a group of Crimson soldiers," said Isamu. "I am assuming your Elite Guards will come as well."
"Yup," said a voice, catching the attention of everyone else as they turn to see Leopold.
Leopold walks forward, as Tonis, Helena, Rolando, Horace, Momoka, Anna, and Tecumseh join the group.
"We are ready when you are," Helena.
"I'm surprise you are allowed on this mission," said Gerard. "Listen, I understand you guys have something to deal with in this war, but the Imperial Alliance does not need your help. I can't disobey orders, so just try not to screw up."
Helena narrows her eyes. Oh, how she wants to punch this man's head clean off. It is people like him that caused the devastating results of her home planet.
Helena had just entered her superior's office, bowing to him shortly after.
"Welcome commander," said the grand commander. The older man remained sitting in his chair as Helena approached him.
"You asked to see me, sir," said Helena.
"Yes. First, I want to congratulate you on your victories in the eastern border. I will reward you for your efforts. However, I have some important matters to discuss with you. You see, lately a group of bandits have started to increase in power. No matter who I send to handle the situation, they tend to die in the process. So, I've decided to send you as the person in charge."
Helena was honored her superior would recognize her efforts. However, if she only knew the true purpose of her government, she might not have been so willingly. She had asked what to do with any prisoners. To her shock, her commander told her there will be no prisoners. Helena did not question her superior and decided to move forward. Shortly after, Helena woild enter the forest and would surround the bandit group. It would be at that moment she met Tonis and her life would change.
Helena holds her tongue as Gerard continues to glare at her. Shortly after, Gerard would turn his attention to the others.
"Lord Noboru is in charge of this mission," said Gerard. "You are to take his orders."
"For now, we will stay on the borderlines," said Noboru. "Our fleet does not have permission to enter Amazon territories. We will watch for any enemy activity. If the enemy does show, then we will make a move towards them."
Everyone begins to head towards the spaceship, ready to depart. Ichigo hears a noise behind him, causing him to turn around and notice Goku holding his forehead.
"Goku, are you alright?" asked Ichigo.
"Yeah, just a weird headache," said Goku. "I usually don't get headaches."
"If anything is wrong, just say so," said Ichigo, concern in his voice.
"I'm fine," replied Goku.
Goku shakes off the pain, an eerie feeling surging through his body.

A young and beautiful woman stands on the balcony of a large castle. She stares into the night sky, enjoying the view of millions of stars. The woman has long straight brown hair and bright red eyes. She has a muscular body, but retains her feminine figure. She wears a white see-through gown, revealing a large amount of skin underneath the clothing.
"Our queen refuses to see the threat," said the woman. "But, it is my duty to follow her orders. We cannot risk enemies reaching our doorstep without someone to reinforce us. This Shadow Alliance has a force none of us can match."
"Which is why we must do something," said a voice, catching the attention of the Amazon.
Phiseybe turns around and immediately kneels.
"Princess Xoepyle," said Phiseybe.
Another young woman wearing Spartan-like armor walks into the room. She has medium straight black hair and black eyes. She also has a small crown on the top of her head. Xoepyle stops in front of the woman as another two women step from behind her.
"Princesses Geises, Isitane, welcome," said Phiseybe as she continues to kneel at the three princesses.
Geises and Isitane share similar traits to Xoepyle, except Geises long straight black hair while Isitane has short straight black hair. Like Xoepyle, Geises and Isitane wear Spartan type armor, revealing their muscular arms, but still protecting their torsos. Xoepyle stands in front of Phiseybe.
"Rise," said Xoepyle. "Now."
Phiseybe rises, as Xoepyle passes her, standing near the edge of the balcony.
"Princess, what do you mean by 'doing something?'" asked Phiseybe.
Xoepyle does not respond for a moment. She turns around to face the women in front of her. Her eyes narrow, nearly sneering.
"My mother is a fool," said Xoepyle.
"Xoepyle!" scolded Geises. "You must not speak of mother like that."
"Yes, please don't," said Isitane, whispering lightly.
"No," said Xoepyle as she turns away from the other women.
Xoepyle's places her hands on the railings, tightening her grip until her knuckles turn white.
"We will be destroyed," said Xoepyle. "I will not allow that to happen. Mother has not prepared our armies. We are defenseless in our current state."
"Mother has made a choice to keep us out of war," said Geises. "Enough of this nonsense. We speak no more of this."
"I agree with sister," said Isitane, hiding behind Geises as if to avoid Xoepyle's glare.
"Mother's word is law," said Geises.
"Fine," said Xoepyle as she turns around and walks pass the other women.
Xoepyle leaves the room, slamming the door behind her. She walks down the hall, but stops the moment she hears noises. She turns her head back, glancing towards the shadows. She remains calm, rolling her eyes as she looks forward again.
"Come out," said Xoepyle. "Osylyte."
A woman appears from the shadows, kneeling next to Xoepyle. Osylyte has long wavy black hair and green eyes. The woman wears Spartan type armor with a small cape at her shoulders.
"Rise," said Xoepyle. "Why are you following me?"
"It is my duty to protect and follow you," said Osylyte.
"I know, you tell me that every time," retorted Xoepyle.
"What are you going to do, princess?" asked Osylyte.
"War is upon us," said Xoepyle. "I will sacrifice anything to protect this land. Follow me, we have a mission to complete."
*SC*
Goku, Tonis, Helena, Leopold, and Rolando stand in the bridge of the ship, overlooking the numerous people navigating the spaceship. Eckart is also at the bridge, issuing orders to the lower ranking soldiers. Goku notices the stars passing quickly due to the light speed travel. He could travel faster than this, but he does not know the location of the Amazon's planet. Soon, the ship stops, as the planet Faruta is in sight.
"I thought we aren't supposed to enter their territory," said Ichigo as he and his guards appear.
"True," said Eckart as he walks towards Ichigo. "Only our ship has arrived at this point. The rest of the fleet is at the borderline with Isamu at command. Noboru and everyone else are here."
"We are using an invisibility cloak," said Gerard as he walks into the room. "The Amazons won't even know we're here."
"We're just checking for any signs of shadow monsters and then we'll be on our way," said Eckart.
The doors open again as Noboru and Ren walk into the room.
"What is the status?" asked Noboru.
"My lord," said Eckart. "So far, there are no signs of the shadow monsters, but we cannot rule out any chance that the enemy has made their way onto the planet."
Goku remains silent, a small pounding on his head. He cringes as he holds onto his head, trying to mend the pain. Leopold approaches Goku, waving his hand in front of the saiyan. Goku snaps out of his gaze, staring at Leopold.
"Yeah?" inquired Goku.
"You alright? It seems like you are rubbing your head a little too much," said Leopold.
"I'm fine," said Goku. "Just a headache."
"A headache," repeated Leopold. "It isn't like you to have a headache."
Goku takes a deep breath, just shaking his head a bit. Leopold softens his gaze, wondering if one of the most powerful men he knows is actually okay. Goku has so much power in his own body; it can do what he failed to do so long ago.
Leopold was once a major scientist in the government of his home world. He was in charge of the science division to find a new source of power due to the overuse of polluting gases. It was a breakthrough moment when he discovered a way to use volcanoes as a source of power. He managed to create a new type of metal capable of withstanding the high temperatures of the strongest volcanoes, allowing machinery to pump the molten rock, using the high temperatures as pure energy. He and a fellow scientist by the name of Cooper would attempt to use this new technology to benefit the people. Unfortunately, this invention led to disaster.
A man with short brown hair, a white coat, and a pair of glasses walked next to a familiar man. Leopold stood next to the man, looking at the clipboard in his hand.
"Such a magnificent power," said the man.
"Indeed Cooper," said Leopold. "Too bad, I feel such power is not ready for use."
Suddenly, a loud knock occurred at the door. Leopold and Cooper looked at each other, realizing the government found out of the technology.
"I've heard they plan to use it as a weapon," said Cooper.
"No matter the power," said Leopold. "People will always misuse it."
Seconds later, government soldiers knock down the door, charging into the room.
Leopold snaps out of his thoughts as Goku groans in pain again. Goku takes a deep breath as another shot of pain erupts through his head. Ichigo places his hand on Goku's shoulder, showing concern for his fellow warrior.
"Goku, are you alright?" asked Ichigo.
Goku attempts to respond, but a sudden voice in his head stops him.
'Watch out!' exclaimed a voice in Goku's head.
Goku snaps out of his trance, looking around for any signs of a person. Suddenly, the ship begins to rock as numerous explosions begin to occur.
"What's going on?" asked Noboru.
"My lord, there is a breach in the engine room," said a solider.
"Send someone back there!" exclaimed Gerard.
Suddenly, the ship rocks forward, heading towards Faruta.
"My lord, we won't be able to hold our position!" exclaimed another soldier.
"Prepare for impact!" shouted Noboru.
Goku moves as he places two fingers on his forehead, but the moment he does, his body freezes.
'I can't move,' thought Goku as his feels the lack of energy.
Soon, darkness takes over.

Numerous creatures begin to sound in the distance. Jaguar, monkeys, gorillas, birds, and other animals continue to make noise as Goku opens his eyes slowly. He groans, trying to sit up as he focuses his vision. He looks around, noticing the thick lush jungle, the numerous tree vines, and the sound of water nearby. Goku stands up slowly, still trying to figure out his location. He closes his eyes, using his sensing ability to locate his fellow allies, but nobody seems to be nearby. Goku opens his eyes, his breathing a bit heavy.
"Where is everybody?" asked Goku to nobody.
Just as Goku takes the first step, the green leaves and vines turn red, causing Goku to take a step backward, and his eyes narrowing. Suddenly, there is a small dripping sound. Goku looks around again, trying to find the source, but he is unable to find it. However, the dripping sound begins to increase in volume. Goku notices liquid dropping from the leaves and vines. He walks towards a tree only to realize blood dripping from it. He steps back as it begins to rain blood. Suddenly, the ground shakes as a creature begins to erupt from the base of the tree. Goku tries to figure out what it is, but the shadowy forest keeps him seeing the creature.
Goku enters a battle stance, preparing to fight the creature, but it does not move towards him. The creature stands motionless, its jarring teeth showing bright white as it attempts to smile.
"You cannot trust her," said the creature, surprising Goku.
"What? Who?" questioned Goku.
"You cannot trust her," restated the creature.
The unknown creature begins to take a few steps back, retreating into the shadows once again.
"Wait! Who?" shouted Goku as he tries to catch the creature.
Unfortunately, the creature disappears before he has a chance to grab it. The entire area begins to melt. Goku stands back up; trying to fly, but his abilities fail him.
"Xoepyle," said the creature's voice before everything turns black.
Goku's eyes snap open, as he sits up with rapid speed. Sweat drips from his face as he tries to gather his breath. It has been a while since Goku had this type of adrenaline. After a few seconds of heavy breathing, Goku regains his composure as he hears a slight snore near him. He looks to his right and notices Ichigo lying down asleep.
Ichigo groans as he opens his eyes. He sits right up, remembering the last event.
"Everyone!" exclaimed Ichigo as he looks around. "Goku, you're here!"
"Yeah," replied Goku. "Where is here anyway?"
"I see, you're awake," said a woman's voice.
A beautiful black hair woman enters the room, with two cups of water.
"Here," said the woman.
Goku and Ichigo thank the woman as they drink the water. A few seconds later, another woman enters the room, just as beautiful as the first. The woman has wavy black hair.
"Thank you again, um…" said Goku as he tries to figure out the woman's name.
"My name is Xoepyle," said the woman, causing Goku to stare at her unsurely.
"Xoepyle," repeated Goku.
Xoepyle raises an eyebrow, but she ignores Goku's weird reaction.
"The woman behind me is Osylyte," said Xoepyle as she points at the other Amazon.
"I'm Goku," said the saiyan.
"I'm Ichigo," said the Shinigami.
"Where are we?" asked Ichigo. "Where are the others?"
"We are in the middle of the Amazonian Forest," replied Xoepyle. "Unfortunately, you two are the only ones we found. For now rest."
Xoepyle and Osylyte walk outside, towards a group of horses.
"Princess," said Osylyte, catching Xoepyle's attention. "Why are we keeping them alive? They are a danger to us."
"Keeping them alive will work well for us," said Xoepyle. "Their arrival is unexpected, but it will benefit us."
Meanwhile, inside the cave, Goku continues to think about Xoepyle. His dream told the same name him. However, he does not know if he should trust his dream.
"Goku, are you alright?" asked Ichigo.
"Yeah, I'm fine," replied Goku.
*SC*
"Mother!" shouted Geises as she runs into the Amazon throne room.
"What is the meaning of this!" exclaimed Eicleia. "I am in an important meeting with fellow nobles!"
Numerous nobles look at Geises as she bows towards her mother.
"Forgive me, but I have urgent news," said Geises.
"Fine, what is it?" asked Eicleia.
"We just received word that an unknown ship has crashed near the Amazonian forest," said Geises. "We are not sure of survivors, but there have been sighting of small patches of darkness."
Eicleia narrows her narrows. She is about to respond when she feels a dark sense of energy. Instantly, her right hand reaches for the necklace around her neck. She knows Xoepyle headed to that area, but the question remains, why.
"Very well," said Eicleia. "Geises take your sister and head out to the Amazonian Forest. Xoepyle should already be there."
"My queen," said Phiseybe as she walks into the room. "We have news that another group of spaceships have entered our atmosphere."
Eicleia clenches her teeth as her worst fears come true.
"The Shadow Alliance has made their move," said Eicleia.
"Mother, if this is true, then we must go prepare," said Geises. "I am afraid our horses and lower level armor cannot protect us from their advance technology."
"Yes, I understand," said Eicleia as she turns towards Phiseybe. "Phiseybe, take your division and gather our advanced weaponry. We will not be unguarded again."
"Yes, my queen," replied Phiseybe as she turns and leave.
"Mother," said Geises.
"Go now," said Eicleia. "We will show the Imperial Alliance that we need no help."
*SC*
Kenichi and Maximus stand on the edge of a cliff, overseeing the large valley below them.
"Everything is falling into our plan," said Maximus. "We simply need to draw Queen Eicleia out since only she has access to the Crystal of Power."
Kenichi narrows his eyes, noticing the thousands of Amazons beginning to move around in the city below.
"Princess Xoepyle is the perfect tool," said Maximus.
"Xoepyle is next in line," said Kenichi. "Her blood can also be used to find the Crystal of Power. We simply need the key that Eicleia carries with her."
Kenichi looks to the far left, sensing a large amount of energy.
"The Galactic Knights are here," said Kenichi. "Not that it matters. They'll fall like everyone else in this war."
Kenichi grins, his white teeth showing brightly in the sunlight. He can sense Goku and Ichigo. This is perfect for him. It is a chance to exercise his muscles. Rin and Theseus approach the two warriors as they stand near the edge of the cliff.
"It seems there are survivors of the Imperial ship we destroyed," said Theseus.
"It matters not," said Maximus. "They are just as unwelcome as us. The Amazons will attack them on sight."
"The more the chaos, the better for us," said Kenichi. "This will be a great battle."
"Don't forget, we need the crystal first," said Maximus. "For now, we draw their attention with small skirmishes. Once the queen is in the open, we strike with our full strength. Today, we begin the destruction of the Amazons."
