Ei backed away from the two boys, a little bit afraid of the whole controversy popping up in front of her like this.

"This isn't quite the welcoming I was expecting when I first arrived here," said Ayaki bitterly.

"What were you expecting?" asked Kenchirou, "To have simply throw herself at you?! You weren't exactly nice to her when she first came to live at the orphanage remember!"

"As I recall neither were you at first," Ayaki reputed.

"What's going on here?" asked Masami as she and Aoi joined Ei in watching the boys fight.

"Is that Ayaki?" asked Aoi.

"Yeah," said Ei, "Didn't you remember? He was getting adopted by someone of out parents' status and going to be coming to our school?"

"Oh yeah," said Aoi.

"But why is he arguing with Kenchirou?" asked Masami.

"Uh well," Ei wasn't sure how to spat out that they were apparently fighting over her. However the boys soon help cleared it all up.

"You've been with Ei for over a year and you're just now admitting your feelings to her? Could it be you're merely trying to have what it is you can't have?" asked Ayaki.

"And here you think that you suddenly show up and you'll win her with one sentiment of love?!" asked Kenchirou.

"What?" asked Aoi and Masami both looking at Ei.

"Are they fighting over you Ei?" asked Aoi looking really eager. Masami however didn't look too happy of the idea.

"Why is Ayaki fighting over you with Kenchirou exactly?" she asked.

"Masami, Aoi hello again," said Ayaki walking over to both girls and bowing, "It's so nice to see you again. Although I will admit I'll miss the orphanage. It's been improved on so much since Ei's foster fathers took over as their financial adviser. Thank you so much for all the hard work your fathers have put into the orphanage dear Ei."

"Uh yeah sure," said Ei.

"You know my father as helped put financial backing into helping the orphanage too!" Masami spoke up.

"My mom does too," said Aoi cheerfully.

"As do my parents!" Kenchirou as he tried to come between Ayaki and Ei again.

"Yes and my new father is going to be doing his best to help support the orphanage. However from what I've seen and heard, Ei's father has been doing the most. Thank you so much," Ayaki praised kissing Ei's hand again.

"Why you!" Kenchirou muttered.

"It's only because Ei has six fathers! I mean if some of us had that most parents we could contribute a lot to the orphanage too! My father does a lot for the community! Nearly all of the fancy gardens that had been popping up over the city have come from his group!" Masami tried to persist. She cast Ei an actual angry look. Ei hadn't seen her looking like that since she first came to the Twilight Orphanage and Masami was a part of Raiko's group that took delight in tormenting Ei at every turn.

"Granted but," said Ayaki. He wasn't allowed to finish his sentence due to the sound of the bell ringing.

"We should get going!" said Ei quickly running off as fast as she could. She was quite eager to get away from all of that chaos at the moment.

As Ei sat in her class she did her best to keep her head down even as the teacher introduced Ayaki to the class. What had happened before class hadn't exactly been pleasant. It was bad enough she had to deal with all the fighting with her fathers and those different women. Now she had to come to school and deal with more fighting and chaos. What was worse she could feel Masami giving her a mean look. That hurt the most. Masami had actually been the first one to be nice to her back at the orphanage. The last thing Ei wanted was to be made to fight with her friend. She didn't even understand why Masami was so mad at her all of a sudden. She had hoped Masami would be supportive and sympathetic over the idea of men fighting over her and trying to be a confident in the situation. She couldn't rely on Aoi. She'd just want to use this as a basis for a new story by her mother.

"Ei?" Ei suddenly heard her teacher ask.

"Uh yes?" said Ei looking up.

"Would you like to be responsible in making sure Mister Nekozawa can find his way around for the time being?" asked the teacher.

"Uh do I have to?" asked Ei timidly. Everyone looked surprised at her comment.

"Well I will think it would be wise seeing as how you are the most responsible student in the class," said the teacher.

"I'll do it!" Masami offered raising her hand.

"Or I can do it!" Kenchirou also offered raising his hand.

"I'm sorry but I would like Ei to do it, no arguments," insisted the teacher.

"Very well," said Ei. She watched as Ayaki came and took a seat near hers. She could also see Kenchirou and Masami looking at her with some angry eyes. At least Aoi still looked happy in all of this. That was probably only because she was thinking this would make a good story for her mother.

"And here is the science room with the darkening capabilities," said Ei showing Ayaki the science room. Behind her Masami, Kenchirou and Aoi were all tagging along.

"Ah yes, my father spoke highly of it," said Ayaki, "I find darkrooms fascinating in making photos. I could take wonderful photos of you Ei."

"Uh," said Ei.

"That's creepy! You shouldn't say such things like that!" said Kenchirou.

"What about me Ayaki? Would I make a good model?" asked Masami eagerly.

"Well, I suppose I could work with you," said Ayaki circling around her, "your hair is very dark and mysterious. I could probably take some good photos of you."

"That still sounds creepy," said Kenchirou.

"I think this is all great!" said Aoi as she wrote down in her journal, "Oh wait until Mother hears about this!"

"Well in the meantime, shall we go ahead to the cafeteria?" asked Ei as she started walking down on her own.

"Yes I wish to sit next to you Ei," said Ayaki.

"As do I!" said Kenchirou. Both boys made an attempt to walk next to her in the hallway. All around her Ei could see other students looking at her confused. Behind her, Ei could feel the angry looks from Masami.

"So how long are you going to be stringing the boys along like this Ei?" Masami asked as she and Ei stood in line for their food.

"I don't know what you're talking about," said Ei, "I don't want to string any of them along." Masami didn't look convinced.

"You know I've heard stories from my father about how much he and your other fathers were always going after your mother. I bet she liked having all those men dote over her, always fighting over her. And I bet you're just like her, like mother like daughter!" sneered Masami.

"That wasn't my intent!" Ei insisted, "I didn't even realize either of the boys likes me like that up until now! Why are you so mad about this?"

"Because even now Ayaki still barely even notices me even though we knew each other a lot longer then he's known you!" Masami finally snapped.

"Wait, you like Ayaki?" asked Ei.

"Yeah and it's not fair that he's already trying to get to you even after all of this!" said Masami, "I don't think I want to sit with you today!"

Once Masami took her tray of food she headed off on her own.

"Masami!" Ei called out to her friend.

"What's wrong with Masami?" asked Aoi.

"She's jealous of me I think," said Ei sadly. She watched as Masami walked over to Noriko Hishou and her newest group and say something to Noriko. Whatever it was it made Noriko laugh and move aside to let Masami sit next to her.

"Oh that's just wrong," said Aoi.

"Maybe we just need to let Masami cool down for a bit," said Ei before she and Aoi headed to their usual table. Ayaki and Kenchirou were already there waiting for the two of them and both made an attempt to move aside for Ei to sit next to them. Ei sighed as she reluctantly took the seat in between while Aoi took a seat across from her.

"Where's Masami?" asked Ayaki out of curiosity.

"She's eating with some new friends," said Ei pointing to the table she and Noriko were all sitting. Masami was still saying something to Noriko which made her and all of the other girls at the table laugh.

"What the?" asked Kenchirou, "Why is she sitting with Noriko?"

"Well she," Ei started to say.

"She's just going through some things," Aoi interrupted. She leaned over close to Ei and whispered, "No sense in adding more drama to the mix. What we have now should be enough."

Ei was surprised that Aoi was trying to Not add more drama to the mix of things. She was still grateful none the less.

"So Ei, would you like to come see my new home?" Ayaki asked after school.

"Uh I don't think I should," said Ei, "I need to go home and take care of my pig."

"Pig?" asked Kenchirou, Aoi and Ayaki.

"Yeah, I guess with everything going on I didn't get a chance to tell you all that I got a pet pig this weekend. I named him Bubbles," Ei explained.

"A pig huh?" said Noriko walking past them with Masami walking next to her, "That sounds perfect for a piece of swine like you, being a daughter of a whore."

"What did you just say?" asked Ei. What Noriko had just said really did hurt.

"Oh we know all about your mother Ei. You're the daughter of the Ouran Whore!" Noriko said smugly. She winked at Masami who nodded with a smug look all her own.

"Daughter of the Ouran Whore, Daughter of the Ouran Whore!" a bunch of the others from Noriko's group stared to chant.

"Masami!" shouted Ei, "How could you say that about my mother?!"

"Truth hurts doesn't it Ei?" Noriko manage to get out among the taunts.

"My mother wasn't a whore!" Ei shouted back trying to fight her tears, both at the rude insults and the fact that her supposable best friend had just all but thrown her to the wolves. And for what, for a boy of all things?

"Come on let's go," Aoi said leading her off. The two boys fallowed after her.

"I know your mom wasn't a whore," Aoi said to comfort Ei, "my mother told me she never did anything along that line."

"Thank you," said Ei, "I can't believe Masami would say that though."

"There there," said Aoi giving her a little hug. Just then they heard a honking and Ei realized her limo was here with one her fathers had arrived. The door opened and Tamaki poked his head out.

"Ei, are you ready to go home?" he called out.

"Yeah I'm coming," said Ei.

"Take care Ei," said Aoi in a gentle tone.

"Bye Ei, I look forward to see you again," said Ayaki.

"So do I!" Kenchirou said jumping in front of him.

"Ei, why are there now two boys waving good-bye to you?" asked Tamaki, clearly not happy at what he had just seen.

"Ones new, Ayaki Nekozawa," Ei told him softly.

"You mean that's the new son Nekozawa adopted?" asked Tamaki turning white "Ei I don't think you should be hanging around him."

"And what if he wants to hang out with me?" asked Ei.

"No boy should be hanging around with you like that period!" insisted Tamaki. Ei had to give off a sigh at that comment.

'Maybe I need to talk to someone else about this,' she thought. She just hoped one of her other fathers would be up to talking to her about so called boy trouble she now found herself in.
