-THE NEXT MORNING-
Dipper woke up, feeling miserable. He went downstairs and got a bowl of cereal. He just ended moving the spoon around in it, unable to eat.
Mabel looked at Dipper concerned," Hey bro- bro. you ok?"
Dipper groaned and said "No."
"Why? What's wrong?" Mabel asked, surprised by his answer.
Dipper just sighed "I dont want to talk about it."
Mabel recognized the look in Dipper's eyes and could suddenly understand, almost feeling his pain," It's Wendy, isn't it? Oh my gosh. She broke up with you for real? Didn't she? I'm so sorry. There'll always be another girl. There'll always be someone who loves you."
"I dont want another girl! I only want Wendy!" Dipper snapped and ran back to the attic as Mabel sat there, feeling bad for what she said.
-WITH WENDY-
Wendy couldn't take being there alone anymore so she decided to get up and go play around with Amanda's potions, vials, and hexes. Wendy was surprised that she wasn't a witch she had so many. Wendy tested them out of Margery's old Barbie dolls. Hopefully, she wouldn't find out. Wendy had managed to turn one on Margery's into a real person and she was forced to hide her in Amanda's closet. Wendy then turned another doll blue. Wendy picked up another one and tried to use it over and over without it working. She turned it over to the side and saw a notice saying," Must drink for effects to take place". Wendy thought it over and decided nothing REALLY bad would happen so she drank from it and the next thing she knew she was alone in the attic of mystery shack.
"What the-?" Wendy asked confused before clutching her throat at the sound of "her voice."
Wendy felt like it was familiar from somewhere and started quoting other people around town to try to figure out why she sounded like that and finally she said," STOP IT GUYS!" Before hearing the way her voice cracked, her eyes widened, and she just about fainted, but caught her fall.
"Wait a minute, if... If... If... I'm Dip...per than DIPPER'S ME!"
-WITH DIPPER-
Dipper suddenly found himself in Wendy's house, in Amanda's room. "What? ... how'd did I get here?"
Dipper noticed the sound of his voice when he said that "Why do I sound like Wendy!?" He panicked, looked down and saw he was in Wendy's body and screamed.
"Oh my gosh! How did this happen!?" Dipper panicked.
Dipper realized the same thing Wendy just did and ran to the shack as fast as he could and knocked on the door.
Wendy was trying to rush out the door when Dipper opened it and slammed her, causing her to fall over," Oww.."
"Ow!" Dipper said as he fell over.
Wendy gently lifted her head," That is you. Right Dipper?"
"Yes! How did this happen!?" Dipper asked, panicked.
"I... I... Don't know..." She said even though she knew she was partially lying as she awkwardly remembered what happened the last time they saw each other.
"Oh" Dipper said and looked down sadly, also remembering what happened.
Wendy breathed deeply, sad," So... Umm... Yeah..."
"Yeah... Um... Listen, we both know what happened last we saw each other, but can we try not to make things awkward between us just until we figure out how to fix this?"
"Yeah... Ok..." She said, standing back up.
Dipper stood back up too "Um... do you have any idea how to fix this?" He said, trying to make things less awkward as possible.
"No. No I don't."
Dipper sighed "Neither do I."
"Well... Ok, I lied. Kinda. I have a SLIGHT idea as to why this happened."
"You do!? How!?"
"I don't know if it'll help, but this happened right after I drank one of Amanda hex-potion thingys."
"Well maybe there's a potion that can reverse this. ... but why'd you drink that potion in the first place?"
"I was trying to keep my mind off of BEING BORED. So I tried to occupy my time," Wendy said as they reached her house and went back into Amanda's room.
"Well what potion did you drink?" Dipper asked when they got into Amanda's room.
"This." Wendy said, picking it up," Oh, hey. It says something right here." She said, pointing to it," The reversal of this curse will be achieved once you and your…... soulmate..…... join...… each other… in… forgiveness… Note: this curse will not take effect if you don't know them or if you have no reason to be mad at them in the first place."
"So... you're pretty much saying have to forgive each other?" Dipper asked, making sure.
"Yeah... I guess... That's... What... It's... Trying... To say" She said, trying hard to hold back the awkwardness in her voice.
"Oh... So..." Dipper said, awkwardly, trailing off.
"Look at me Dipper. You know that the only reason I did that was because I was done with putting you through pain and harm. I wanted you to be happy. I love you so much. Ok? And that hasn't changed and probably never will. I'm sorry we did that. I was just worried about you. I guess." Wendy sighed, trying hard to hold back tears.
"I know you only did that because you wanted me to be happy, but the truth is I'm not happy unless I'm with you. I love you so much too, I'm sorry that happened too."
Wendy hugged Dipper, struggling since he was a lot shorter before remembering something and pulled away with widened eyes," Wait a minute. We're soulmates? I thought that didn't exist."
Dipper noticed he was back inside his own body. "Well we're back inside our own bodies now, so I guess we are."
Wendy hugged Dipper," Let's never leave again. This is the last time."
Dipper hugged her back and nodded "I agree. I never want that to happen ever again."
"Don't worry I love you too much to let that happen."
"Good, I love you too."
Wendy hugged Dipper tight and without hearing it, the door opened.
Amanda walked in her room and saw Wendy and Dipper hugging "What are you two doing in here!?"
Wendy picked up a doll," Playing Barbie?"
Playing Barbie? Really?" Amanda asked, not believing her.
"Yes." Wendy said before realizing that she picked up the curse bottle instead," Oh crap."
"Then what are you doing with that potion?" Amanda asked
Wendy couldn't think of what to say so she just sat there panicked.
"You were messing around with my potions, weren't you?" Amanda asked.
"Yeah..." Wendy cringed.
"You know if you wanted to know about potions, you could've just asked me." Amanda said.
"I didn't want to. I was just bored." Wendy said, accidentally giving it back to her, causing Wendy to freak.
Amanda read potion and smirked "So you two switched bodies, huh?"
"Ummm... Yeah...?" Wendy answered, nervously.
"You see what could happen if you mess around with potions!? Now I don't want you to come in here again unless you have my permission, got it!?"
"Whatever, if I didn't do that, me and Dipper would've broken up forever. I'm really happy."
"Wendy, just get out of my room." Amanda said, angrily.
Wendy glared at Amanda," You only act this way because you miss Adam." As soon as she said it, Wendy knew she said the wrong thing and Amanda was about to lose it.
"WENDY! GET OUT!" Amanda yelled, more angrily.
Wendy stuck out her tongue and ran taking Dipper's hand and Dipper just ran with Wendy
