Nami snuggled closer to Luffy, causing him to wake up. Luffy rubbed his eye with his free hand. He looked down and smiled when he saw Nami sleeping in his arms. He didn't realize he missed her so much until after they had their little affair on his bed. Nami slightly opened her eyes when she felt a pair of lips on her head. She looked up and saw Luffy already awake.
"Should we get up? My mom or Ace could walk in any minute," said Luffy as he sat up. Nami groaned.
"I'm too tired and sore to move."
Luffy chuckled.
"Sorry, I couldn't control myself. You're just so tempting," Luffy started to kiss her neck hungrily. Nami laughed and pushed him away. She sat up and covered herself.
"Maybe we should just stick to one round. Any more and I might not be able to walk anymore."
"Soooo, you're saying we'll have more sex?"
Nami facepalmed. "Whatever."
"Well, if we're going to have 'more sex', why don't we take it to the next level," Luffy smirked. Nami cocked an eyebrow. She started to feel uncomfortable. Luffy grabbed her wrists.
"O-Oi-"
Luffy moved closer so his lips was inched from her neck.
"How about this time, I bind you?"
"L-Luffy! Are you crazy-"
Nami stopped panicking when she felt his hands let go of hers. Replacing them was a silver bracelet on her right wrist. The name 'Nami' dangled at its center.
"Wha.."
"I found it while I was still training at the dome. When you said you didn't want a present, I thought about returning it, but then what kind of boyfriend would I be?"
"You-"
"Happy late birthday, Nami," Luffy kissed the side of her head.

Ace stepped in the living room, but immediately stopped at the sight of two people making out on the couch. Nami's legs were over Luffy's lap and they were as close as he's even seen them.
"WOAH!"
Luffy and Nami jumped back at his scream. Both of their faces turned bright red from embarrassment. Makino walked in right behind him. She was startled to see her son back so soon.
"Luffy! What are you doing here?"
"Finished all my training, so I came back early."
"You sure? 'Cause you're just as boney as ever," said Ace.
"Oh yea, I forgot to call Zoro and tell him you're okay," Nami reached for her phone.
"That's okay. He already knows I'm fine."
"Did Shanks come with you?" asked Makino. She sat down on the couch opposite of the love seat.
"All the competitors are still there so he still has to stay, so," Luffy lifted his feet up onto the coffee table, "I've got four free days until I get back to school."
"Oh, that reminds me, Luffy, I-"
"Hm?"
Ace cut himself off. He smirked when an idea popped into mind. Luffy cocked an eyebrow. The face Ace had was one of the faces that meant that he was up to something he won't like.
"What is it?" asked Luffy.
"Nothing."

Robin turned off her lamp and walked to her balcony. It was another starless night. It's been like this for a while now. She missed nights where the clear sky was filled with nothing but stars and the moon. She slid the door open and stepped outside. Even though it was summer, it gets chilly at night. She looked down and saw the streets filled with noisy cars. She sometimes forgets she lives in the most popular casino in the city.
Robin breathed in the warm air, but she could smell a familiar scent. She could feel her hair being swept with the wind. She could feel two pairs of arms wrapping around her waist. She could also something rest of her shoulder. For some reason, this didn't surprise her. There was only one other person in the world that has her key, and he could be pretty unpredictable most of the time.
"What are you doing out here?" he asked.
"The stars are gone."
"They'll appear."
"Just like how you appeared tonight?"
"Exactly."
-x-
"So, you thought Luffy was involved in the accident?" asked Robin as she handed him a warm mug of hot coffee. She sat on the couch next to him.
"That idiot wouldn't even pick up his phone. I thought something was wrong."
"So, thinking he was hurt, you came running after him to make sure he was okay?" Robin cocked an eyebrow. Whenever Luffy was involved in a fight, Zoro never cared whether he got hurt or not. He always knew he'd come out victorious and unscratched.
Zoro blushed and looked away.
"This time was different."
"Of course. But really? Another batsu game? Did you have another fight?"
Zoro chuckled. "Just a game between two men."
"Zoro, Luffy almost ended up in the news in your last batsu game."
"I'm winning this again."
"So, what's the punishment?"
"The usual."
Robin smirked. She scooted closer and rested her head on his shoulder.
"I think I might actually enjoy this one if you lose."
"Is this encouragement to lose?"
"More or less."

Luffy and Nami walked through the halls of the academy hand-in-hand. It was the first day back and the halls were filled with what went through everyone's summer vacation. One thing did catch the couple's attention.
"Ne ne! Did you hear about the new teacher for class C-3?"
"Yea! I heard he's reeeally hot!"
"Really? I heard he's a little older than us."
"Where is he now?"
"He's talking with the principal right now."
"Wanna take a peek?"
"Let's go!"
After overhearing their conversation, Nami turned to Luffy with confusion.
"We're having a new teacher?"
They walked into their classroom. Almost everyone was going hectic over the rumors about their new teacher. The girls in the class were most interested about his. They met up with their crew up the stairs.
"Did you hear?" asked Usopp.
"Ah, and there a tons of rumors going around about him," replied Luffy.
"Is it really that big of a deal? It's just one teacher," said Sanji.
"What's wrong, curly? Worried he might steal your girl?" asked Zoro.
"Why you-"
They heard the sound of the door sliding open. Luffy cocked an eyebrow. Just who was this man? The teacher stepped in, shutting the door behind him. Luffy's chin fell to the ground when he saw his face. All his color fading to white. The Straw Hats were even more shocked to see him here.
"Wh-What is he-"
"All right. Your teacher had a little emergency and had to leave. I'll be your teacher for the rest of the year. My name is Portgas D. Ace. Please, take your seats."
"ACE? What are you doing here?" Luffy shouted. Ace smirked.
"Rayleigh asked me to fill in. Is there a problem, Monkey-kun?"
Luffy bit back his tongue to stop himself from saying anything unnecessary.
"I never expected you to take the job," said Nami. The rest of the class watched, puzzled by they're sudden connection.
"With your sister gone for a month, I've got nothing better to do."
"Nami, you and Luffy know sensei?" asked Conis.
Crap, Luffy thought. If they ever found out that Ace was his older brother, everyone would look down on him as a teacher's younger brother, a weakling. He didn't want that happening, especially with the tournament going on at the end of the school year.
"I'm Luffy's older brother."
Luffy slammed his head on his desk. It was over.

Luffy sulked as he and the crew headed for the fountain for lunch. Today wasn't going by as well as he had hoped.
"Why are you so down, Luffy?" asked Chopper.
"Because-" Luffy was choked when an arm wrapped around his neck tightly. The crew turned around, ready to attack the person who was harming their captain, but they backed down instead.
"Yo!"
"Ace-"
"Would it kill you to call me sensei?" Ace glared at Nami. She ignored him.
"Ace, what are you doing?"
"Now that I'm back here, I get to watch over my favorite little brother for the next three hours!"
"Y-You're kidding," Luffy tried to speak.
"And with me being your teacher, I'm going to make the rest of your high school life a living hell. Now, should we eat together?"
The crew sprinted away, leaving their desperate captain alone to fend for himself. Luffy reached out in hopes that at least one of them would return. Ace laughed.
"Looks like its just you and me!"
Ace dragged Luffy back into the classroom. Luffy took a deep breath and slid the door close.
"What are you doing here anyway?" asked Luffy. "What about New World University?"
"I already have all the credits I need for this year. And why do you act so pissed whenever you see me? We'll be in the same university again next year."
"Can you blame me? All you do is embarrass me in front of everyone."
Ace laughed.
"That's true."
"And honestly, I don't mind, just shocked."
"Anyway, you're going to need my help if you want to win the sports festival this year."
"Oh? Reeeaally?"
"You're looking at the guy who got his class to win three years in a row. If you want to win this and receive a free lunch for the rest of the year, you're going to need me."
"F-Free lunch?"
"For the rest of the year."
Ace and Luffy fist bumped. "I'm counting on you, sensei!"
-x-
Shanks bursted into a laughing fit when he found out that his son will be the teacher of his other son. They were currently in the living room just after Makino closed the shop.
"Really? You? A teacher?"
Ace started to get irritated. Him being a teacher isn't that funny.
"Yea, and?"
"I-I just.. wow!"
"Shanks, you're being rude," said Makino.
"Thanks, mo-"
"But really? A teacher?"
"That's what I said!" said Luffy.
"Do I get no support?" yelled Ace. "Nami?"
"I don't mind, as long as you don't bug me."
"Yes!" Ace ran over and hugged her. "She's my new family!"
-x-x-x-
Class C-3 marched into the classroom feeling victorious as ever. They had won the sports festival coming out either first or second in each game. It was thanks to Sanji in soccer, Luffy in baseball, Zoro and Law in kendo, and Nami, Robin and Vivi in volleyball that they came out with a winning streak.
"Yosh! This calls for a party!" yelled Franky.
"We need to celebrate! With free lunch for the rest of the year, I'll have a ton of money left over," said Conis.
"What should we do?" asked a student.
"Let's go to the beach!" said Bepo.
"But its getting too hot to go to the beach."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't apologize!"
"What do you think we should do, Luffy?" Usopp asked as he wrapped an arm around his shoulders.
"Sorry, I got work tonight."
Everyone froze. Having 'I' and 'work' in the same sentence and coming out of Luffy's mouth was completely out of the ordinary. Luffy's eyes widened. He wasn't supposed to say anything about that yet.
"Oi oi oi, seriously?" asked Sanji. Knowing Luffy, he can be a prankster whenever he wants.
"Are you helping Makino-san with the bar?" asked Vivi.
"No."
"Yo, Ace? Is it true? Luffy got a job?" asked Wiper.
"Huh? Ah, yea. He got a job some place yesterday. Won't even tell me where."
"Where are you working?" Chopper asked Luffy.
"I'm not telling you."
"Why not?" asked Franky.
"Becauseā¦"
"Because.. ? Is it something embarrassing?" Vivi was eager to ask.
"It's nothing."
With that, the whole class started asking him all sorts of questions, but Luffy had a tight lip. Who knew Luffy getting a job could cause the class to go haywire.
-x-x-
Luffy ignored the fact that his girlfriend has been staring at him ever since they left the school. They were nearing his house and her eyes still haven't left his.
"I know I'm charmingly good looking, but you don't have to look at me for five minutes!"
"Then tell me where you work."
"I can't!" Luffy said for the tenth time today.
"Why not?"
"Because! ...it's embarrassing."
"Is it really that bad?"
Luffy thought about it. "Yes."
"Will we ever find out?"
"No."
"Will I ever find out?"
"No."
"Fine... no more sex."
"WHAT?"
"Unless you tell me." Luffy bit his tongue. His job was supposed to remain a secret. If he can't lie, might as well not say a word. And if he makes an accidental slip-up, then the entire school will know. To avoid saying anything, Luffy ran into the bar. Nami followed behind.
"So, you're really not going to the party?"
"I told you, I can't."
"Makino!" Nami ran for Makino who was working behind the counter.
"No!" Luffy's eyes widened and ran after her.
"Where is Luffy working?"
Luffy covered Nami's ears.
"Mom, please." Makino giggled.
"Why don't you tell everyone?"
At that moment, Ace walked in. He saw Nami squirming under Luffy's arms and Luffy giving him a death glare.
"I don't wanna know," Ace walked towards the back.
-x-x-
"I'll see you later then."
"Ah, see ya."
Luffy watched as Nami closed his bedroom door, heading for the party. As Nami headed for the buses, she thought long and hard. Why wouldn't Luffy tell everyone where he works? Is it really that bad? It's not like Luffy would work in something embarrassing like a women's underwear store. Now if he did work there, she'd punch him.
"Yo, Nami." Nami looked up and saw Zoro walking over to her.
"Zoro, I thought you'd be with Robin."
"Koshiro called me up." Zoro folded his arms as his stood at the bus stop with Nami. "Did you get anything out of him."
"Nothing. I think a simple hint could just give it away."
Zoro chuckled.
"Yea. Luffy getting a job is really unlike him."
When the bus arrived, they were about to head in when they hear they're names being called.
"Nami! Zoro!"
They turned around and saw Chopper running to catch up to them. Luckily, the bus driver waited for the youngest Straw Hat. Chopper panted once he got in.
"Sorry. I had to talk my grandma into letting me go."
Zoro laughed.
"Is that old hag still on your case?"
"She's not old!"
"She's a hundred-thirty!"
"Chopper, is your grandmother really that strict?" asked Nami.
"No-"
"Crazy is a better term," Zoro intervened.
"Y.. Yeah," Chopper finally admitted. Nami laughed.
"Anyway, where is the party?"
"The Black Box!" said Chopper.
"Black Box?"
"It's a new karaoke place that just opened up," explained Zoro. "It only opened last week and already the whole place is crowded with people."
"What's so popular about this place?" Nami asked when they got off the bus in front of the karaoke club.
"I hear their waiters are hot," said Chopper.
-x-x-x-
Everyone gather in the lobby, waiting for everyone's arrival. There was at least thirty of them present and they received the largest room there. Everyone had a toast and the party began. Usopp and Franky would often steal the spotlight as usual while Vivi and Sanji would get up and get everyone to dance. The only one not feeling in the party mood was Nami.
Looking around, she saw a lot of people in her class have hooked up. She was the only one without a partner. She got up and headed for the exit.
"Nami-san! Where are you going?" asked Vivi.
"Just getting some air."
"Well, hurry back! You're up next!"
Nami smiled and closed the door. She turned around and accidentally ran into a waiter carrying a tray filled with drinks. Her bump caused the drinks to fall over and all over her shirt and the waiter's uniform.
"I'm so sorry!"
"Don't worry about it."
Nami's eyes widened. She recognized that voice. She'd recognize that voice anywhere. The last time she heard it was in his bedroom before she left for the party. She slowly looked up until she saw the scar underneath his left eye. Her face was only inches away from his. He had the same expression she had.
"N-Nami!"
"Luffy! What are you doing here?"
"What are you doing here?"
"We're having the party here. What are you- wait. Are you working here?"
Luffy gulped. With his reaction, she knew she hit the spot.
"You are!"
"Sshh!" Luffy covered his mouth. He gasped and looked up when he heard the door to his class's party opening. He pulled Nami into an empty karaoke room before anyone could see them.
Nami watched as he sighed in relief.
"Why won't you tell anyone?"
Luffy shrugged. "I just don't want you guys coming in here all the time and distracting me. I've got enough trouble as it is since it just opened."
"Distracting?"
"Have you not seen Usopp and Franky at a party?"
"Okay, okay."
"Plus, this is a way to prove that I can do this by myself without anyone's help."
"Luffy," Nami moved closer. "You don't have to go through this by yourself. We can still support you from a distance."
Luffy chuckled.
"I think you supporting me is enough for me."

I have a question for you guys. Since its summer and school's out, I was thinking, what if I made a twitter account where I update you guys on what I'm currently working on, new stories, stuff you might not even know for another few chapters, and stuff I'm going through everyday. No secrets, so pretty much, my twitter would be open to you guys and I'll update 24/7 on anything like previews on new chapters and summaries of new stories. What do you say?
I apologize for the crappy chapter.
