How long has it been?

"About fifteen minutes since you last asked, so about forty-five minutes," Chase answered, sounding just as bored as Felicity felt.

Where the hell is everyone?

The sound of Chase's shirt brushing against the wall of his cell told her he was shrugging, just as clueless as she. "Still no luck contacting your partners?"

No. Something's definitely blocking their signals from me and likely mine from them. You?

"Every time I bring up my override app, it tells me there's no signal."

Maybe you just need better service, Felicity responded, cringing at the corniness of the quip even as she and Chase both snorted at it.

"Damn, you two are so boring," a sudden voice came from outside of their cells. The two jumped to their feet, prepared to take advantage of anyone geo-leaping in, as the voice continued, "I mean seriously, I've been out here for like thirty minutes and nothing."

The vibrating sounds of someone geo-leaping stopped the voice from continuing.

"You were told not to speak to the prisoners, S-3," a familiar female voice chastised.

"Don't be so paranoid, X-23. It's not like I said anything ground-breaking," S-3 growled back.

"That's still insubordination."

"Are you really gonna try and convince Father of that?"

Silence followed the challenge, X-23 clearly not wanting to bring the situation to Krane's attention. Instead, there was another vibrating sound quickly followed by the same tones in Chase's cell.

Chase!

"I'm fine," he called back, sounding tense. "It's Krane's soldier from the plant."

"You don't sound all that happy to see me," X-23 answered, mocking disappointment. "Fortunately, I'm not here for that. Our father wishes to speak with you."

"And our mutual friend wishes to speak with you," S-3 added, suddenly appearing in Felicity's cell and grabbing her.

"Psyche!" Chase called out as they geo-leaped away.
