I don,t like this chapter that much.. I feel like it's a filter chapter. But it's needed anyway!
Chapter 5 begins! :D And I'll be recruiting OCs for my sequel! The Form is on the bottom of my profile. :P The sequel will be done a bit differently than this story, though. I liked some ideas I saw, and that I may add (like for that - New Evidence: Monokuma Files (I like it: it's a great idea! I don't remember where I saw this first though...)) Anyway, you can submit! :D Don't worry, this story will be finished before I start the sequel. :P And the surviving OCs will make some appearances in the sequel, at least at the end. :3
A gate had opened, but none felt like investigating the new part. Keita was extremely jumpy and grumpy, snapping at everyone for almost nothing. Daichi was silent, lost in his own thoughts. Ryugo was quiet as usual, observing everyone. Liz and Shido talked quietly with Shuuya while Neru ate some food, disinteressed. On sixteen people, only seven remained, for the time being. None knew who would be next, they only hope it wouldn't be them.
All of sudden, Keita stood up leaving after muttering to Daichi that he would investigate the new place. The boy followed after him, keeping quiet. The duo had bonded through the loss of Chitose, both somehwat understanding each other in their distress.
Nobody moved or talk, until Shuuya broke the heavy silence. "Shall we go too?"
Everyone nodded, standing up to investigate.
Only one building stood behind the gate. It wasn't big nor small, simply average, with white walls and a sign above the double doors. Museum of Despair was the name of the building. Unsure, Ryugo pushed the double doors open, showing an hallway. On its walls, various portraits were hung, an pink X painted on some.
Shido walked up to te first painting, reading a little sign uder the portrait of a blue-haired girl, which somehow ressembled Usagi.
Sayaka Maizono - SHSL Idol - First victim of the mutual killing
The next painting hold a young man with red hair.
Leon Kuwata - SHSL Baseball Player - First culprit of the mutual killing
And it continued on, showing eight others pictures, victims or culprit. The ninth, who lacked a painted X, was tagged Makoto Naegi - SHSL Luck - Survivor. Aoi Asahina, Yasuhiro Hagakure, Byakuya Togami and Touko Fukawa were also survivors, missing the X. Listed lasts, Mukuro Ikusaba was tagged as the Mole and Junko Enoshima as the Mastermind, both dead, belonging to the X painted over their pictures.
The next one was picturing Byakuya Togami, but he had changed. He had gain weight, and he was labeled this time as Byakuya Togami - SHSL Heir (Imposter) - First victim of the second mutual killing. Following him was his murderer, and it followed the same pattern as before. What surprise Shido, though, was that the SHSL Luck of this class, Nagito Komaeda, had perished. The survivors, this time, were named Hajime Hinata, Akane Owari, Sonia Nevermind, Souda Kazuichi and Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu.
Another painting was hung beside Souda Kazuichi's smiling face.
The first victim of the third mutual killing.
Adrian Francis was pictured, a X hiding his face.
Next was Saseko's picture, then Hikari and Momoka, followed by Chiyoko and Usagi, finishing by Jin, Ivyan and Chitose, all having an X crossed on their protrait.
Both Daichi and Keita stood in front of the picture, the brown-haired boy with teary eyes while the pink-haired male had his eyes closed, shaking his head.
"Chitose... It's all my fault" he whispered, falling on his knees, holding back his tears. Liz patted their back, trying to comfort them.
Next picture was Keita, a question mark above his head, like if his fate wasn't determined. Or the Mastermind didn't know what to do about him.
Followed him, Ryugo, Liz, Shuuya, Daichi and Neru, their portraits voided of any marks. Under theirs, and Keita's, the sign just indicated their names and SHSl, ending with 'Participant of the third mutual killing - Fate unknown'.
But what surprised Shido was that the portraits didn't end there. Following were eighteen other portraits. The next one was tore up, the sign missing. Shido tried to put back the shreds together, but failed: some parts were missing. However, he could tell that the person had black hair. And that was it.
Moving onto the next picture, it was portraying a girl having wavy, waist-length hair with highlights and black streaks, along with straight bangs that are tucked onto the side with a hair clip. Her eyes were te color of dull grey and a smile graced her features.
Haruna Takahashi - SHSL Soccer Player - Participant of fourth mutual killing - Fate unknown
Seventeen other students were marked as participants of the fourth mutual killing, all having an unknown fate.
Shido panicked: there was already three wave of this mutual killing madness. Would there truly be a fourth one?
Keita was raging. He had destroy one table and six chairs in the cafeteria. Daichi and Neru were watching silently as the pink-haired boy expulsed his anger, the blond cooking at the same time. The girl were gone to the arcade, while Shido and Ryugo were discussing about the fourth mutual killing.
The cosplayer threw a chair at a wall, befoe finally calming down, on the verge of crying. Chitose had died because of him. Because of his greediness. It was all his fault and whatever he would do, nothing could ever repair the huge, horrible mistake he made. Chitose was dead. She could never come back. She could never scold him again, calling him a dumbass. She wasn't there anymore. She was gone, forever.
Suddenly, he turned toward the door, leaving the cafeteria while closing it loudly, surprising the duo inside. He headed toward the Museum of Despair, meeting Ryugo on the way, who headed toward the cafeteria. The cosplayer noded as he passed by and the male returuned the greeting. The pink-haired boy continued toward the museum, stopping only when his pale green eyes met the sight of Shido Tsugumi talking to Monokuma. The helicopter Pilot seemed angry and Monokuma, somewhat scared.
Their discussion ended shortly in an agreement. Monokuma disappeared as Keita headed toward the brown-haired boy, his anger emerging once again.
"Shido!" he shouted, not even hiding his anger. "Why were you talking to damn bear?"
"We came to an agreement." muttered Shido, trying to walk away until Keita grabbed his arm.
"And what is this agreement?"
"Why would I tell you? You may just ruin it!"
"Who say I will? I just need to know what it is. I don't care if it's about causing someone's death: I only want to know. I need to know! So you're going to tell me it!"
"Then you'll have to help me achieve it!"
"No problemo."
"Fine..."
