Authors Note:

Hello my lovely readers. Just wanted to give you all a heads up that this story is nearing it's end. I think, after this chapter there will be two more as things begin to come to a close.

Ellie looked from Regina and then to Zelena with narrowed eyes. Her mother had never talked about having a sister and if she was honest she hadn't heard much of what the two women had said since they arrived in the room. She had spent most of the time with her eyes transfixed on her mother, being happy to see her again. Still clinging to Regina she stood up a little more and looked at Zelena. "Your my aunt?" She then looked at Regina. "You never said anything about having a sister before…"

"I didn't know." Regina shrugged. "I only found out about Zelena when I went with Robin and Emma to see this old witch. I went to ask her how I could get you back and she told me all about Zelena and how she would be the key in helping me rescue you." Regina said placing her hands on Ellie's cheeks and rubbing her thumbs over her daughters soft skin.

"I on the other hand knew about Regina…" Zelena added in.

"You knew that you had a sister but never came to find her?" Ellie questioned.

"It was complicated and…well I was still angry at our mother for dumping me all those years ago and letting me end up in a place like Oz. Horrible place. Never go there." Zelena said with a smile and Ellie laughed a little.

As she looked the woman up and down and listened to her speak she could actually see and hear a lot of her mother in the other woman and it, in a strange sort of way, comforted her and she decided she liked the woman. "Well I must thank you, both of you. Mom I'm so sorry for everything." Ellie said tears beginning to fill up in her eyes again.

"Oh baby, shh. It's alright you don't need to apologise." Regina said softly pulling Ellie into a tight embrace.

"No I do mom. I was horrible to you just before we all left Storybrooke. I was horrible to everyone and I cast that curse. I'm so sorry. I just…I don't know. I could blame Cora but she isn't totally to blame. I need to take some of the blame too but she got into my head and I was feeling lonely and hurt and I just…"

"Took it out on me?" Regina asked.

Ellie nodded her head. "James hurt me…I was coming into magic and I was scared and I…don't know…"

"I understand Ellie. I really do but you know I love you, always have and always will. You should have talked to me about how you were feeling and everything that was going on." Regina said.

"I was going to but then Cora got into my head. She knew exactly what to say and when to say it and I…"

"I know exactly what my mother is like Ellie. Believe me anything she has done to you recently you can bet she has done it to me. But I have you now. Everything is going to be alright." Regina said pulling Ellie back into a hug.

"I love you mom." Ellie whispered.

"I love you too." Regina replied. "Now are you ready to get going?"

"I-I'm not sure." Ellie stuttered a little as she pulled away from Regina and looked up at her.

"You're not sure? What aren't you sure about Ellie?" Regina asked.

"Everyone is going to hate me aren't they? I cast this curse and everything. No one will like me anymore." Ellie sighed.

"Ellie." Regina said cupping Ellie's face in her hands. "If people can forgive me for everything I have done then they can surely forgive you. Don't worry. Nobody hates you. If they hated you would they help me to rescue you?"

"Help you?"

"Yes, Mary-Margaret, David, Robin and Emma all helped me to save you. They wouldn't have done so if they hated you. No one else hates you either. We have explained what my mother was like and its plain to see just by looking at her what she is like." Regina explained. "Now come on lets go." She said as she wrapped her arm around Ellie's shoulders and guided her out of the room.

Regina and Ellie left Zelena to deal with Cora. Zelena decided to send Cora to the fate she had once sent her and had sent her to Oz to live out her days. "Let's see how she enjoys that." Zelena had said causing Regina and Ellie to laugh a little.

They walked down the hallways of the castle and soon came across Mary-Margaret, David, Robin and Emma. As soon as they saw Ellie they fussed over her telling her it was good to see her and giving her a hug each. Robin then walked over to Regina and wrapped his arms around her and placed a soft kiss to her lips.

"You handled your mother then?" He asked with a smile on her face.

"Did you ever doubt me?" Regina asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Never." Robin replied and then leaned forward pressing his lips back to hers.

It was then that the group heard a rumble of a thunder like noise and they all walked over to one of the many windows in the castle and all gasped as they saw a black smoke rising up throughout the land. Mary-Margaret stepped forward towards Regina.

"It looks like the first curse." She said.

Regina nodded her head. "It does. My mother's curse must be reversing now she is gone."

"Will we lose our memories again?" David asked.

"Oh please say no." Emma added in.

"I'm not sure. I don't think so if the curse is merely just reversing itself." Regina said. "Anyway I think we should get back to Roland and Henry before the curse takes over the land fully." Regina said and with a wave of her hand they all magically transported back to the small cottage they had been staying in, Roland and Henry happily playing and Granny sat in a chair. She sat up and looked at the group.

"You succeeded then." She said nodding towards Ellie who gave a shy smile. "Good to see you back girl." Granny said. "What's happening out there?"

"The curse is reversing itself. We are going back to Storybrooke." Regina explained as she glanced out the window. Another rumble of noise rolled out and Roland ran over to Robin cuddling into him, Henry doing the same to Regina. Regina wrapped an arm around him and then one around Ellie as she glanced around the room. "I guess we will see each other back in Storybrooke." She said
