The ten had a pretty good holiday and decided to meet a few days after Christmas so Grace, Cassidy and Jerry could share what they found at the party as things were about to get exposed.
They all met at the library as it became 'their' meeting spot. Surprising Cassidy and Grace were the first arrive followed by Jerry. "Jerry?" Grace asked shocked. "I am surprised to see you before the others".
"Haha, I know it's shocking. For some reason I am just really excited", he replied with a huge grin.
The girls rolled their eyes as Jack and Kim came around the corner holding hands. "Aw, look at the love birds", Cassidy gushed, causing Kim to blush a bright red.
Seconds later Austin and Ally rounded the corner smiling. "And there are the other love birds", Grace added.
Kim and Austin and Ally and Jack shared hugs as the three raised an eyebrow in surprise. Kim saw their expression and whispered, "It's a long story" as they nodded.
Finally, about a few minutes later the last three arrived with the same shocked expression but for different reasons. "How are we last?" Milton asked.
"Why are you looking at me?" Dez shot back.
"Who cares? Let's just start working", Trish whined.
"Ok, first off, are you guys all good?" Grace asked Austin, Ally, Jack and Kim.
"Yeah, we are", Ally replied beaming.
"What happened?" Milton asked now intrigued.
"Well, it actually happened on Christmas. Jack and Austin's moms practically locked us is Austin's room until we worked through all our problems. We talked and got on some even ground", Kim answered.
"Well, that's great and we can all hear more about it later but right now we need to work on a plan so I can go back to sleep", Trish joined in.
Ally rolled her eyes and added in a whisper, "Christmas is always at her house so she never gets enough sleep when her family is in town".
Everyone nodded as Dez took over. "Ok, so now since we are getting into business, Grace, Cassidy, how was the party and what juicy gossip did you find?" he asked as everyone excitedly focused their attention on the two.
"Well, the party itself wasn't exactly what I thought", Grace started but got cut off by Ally asking, "What was wrong with it?"
"Let's just say Kira doesn't know how to throw a party and was just trying way too hard to impress everyone that were too plastered to even know what was going on anyways", Grace answered as Ally and Jack nodded, totally understanding.
"So anyways, it was super crazy but we did find this", Cassidy joined in handing out pieces of paper.
Everyone looked at it as their mouths hung open in disbelief. "Are you serious?" Trish asked elated.
"I hope so. It was in her diary; which by the way, I didn't even know people still had these days", Grace replied baffled.
The area was quiet as everyone starting planning ideas in their heads. After a few minutes Ally broke the silence by quickly jumping up and heading over to Kim saying, "I got it".
Everyone listened to Ally explain what she was planning, loving the idea.
"That is pretty wicked", Trish grinned after Ally finished, proud of her best friend being so devious.
"Great! So, everyone start working on your jobs and we will meet after the new year to run through everything one last time", Jack added.
"Aright then", Milton and Dez cheered, gratified by everyone's willingness to do this.
"Ok, now that we have all that straightened out can we talk about how the four of you became friends again?" Cassidy probed, grinning like a child in a candy shop.
The four looked at one another and nodded in agreement. "Well, like we said earlier, it happened on Christmas. Both Jack and Austin's moms knew something was wrong and you could literally cut the tension with a butter knife", Ally started.
"So, they demanded we go upstairs and talk it out because it was the holidays and we are acting like children. So we did and as soon as we were all in the room, the door closed and we heard a click", Kim joined in as everyone laughed.
Flashback: The four stood on opposite sides of the room as it felt like they were back at beginning. Kim and Ally shared a look and nodded as they both leaned up whispered in Jack and Austin's ears. "Jack, please apologize to Ally. She didn't do anything wrong and she is still your friend", Kim pleaded.
"Austin, please apologize to Kim. You owe her that much and after all, she is your best friend. Do you really want to lose her over something she didn't do?" Ally questioned.
The guys glared at one another as Jack sighed and looked over to Ally. "Ally, I am sorry I accused you of hurting Kim. I should have known you wouldn't purposefully do that or do it at all and I hope we can move forward and go back to being friends", he said in a soft tone.
Ally instantly smiled and replied, "Its ok Jack, I forgive you. This whole thing was messed up and I know you were only protecting Kim", walking over to him and giving him a hug.
Austin had multiple emotions running through his body as he wasn't quite sure which one to follow. Sure he was happy Ally and Jack were friends again but it didn't change the fact that he accused her, just like even if he were to apologize to Kim he wasn't sure how she would take it because he accused her as well but more than that, he turned his back on his friend, best friend at that and that's what hurt the most.
Ally looked at Austin, pleading with her eyes as Kim and Jack were having their own conversation. After a few minutes, Austin finally gave in and cleared his throat causing Jack and Kim to break away from their discussion. "Kim, I know this is late but I just wanted to apologize for not only accusing you for hurting Ally but for turning my back on you. We are best friends and I should have believed you but for some reason my heart lead me to jump to conclusions. I hope we can work past this and become friends again because one, I am terribly sorry and two, I miss my best friend", he said sincerely.
Kim eyed Austin, giving him a blank expression which caused him to freak out. "You not only hurt me but Milton as well and you lost my trust but thank you for apologizing. We have been through so much together and I have missed you too but we can't just jump right back in. We have to work on our friendship so in the future things like this won't happen again", Kim answered with a small smile.
"I understand and thank you, thank you so much", Austin said, letting out a sigh of relief and walking towards Kim, holding his arms out for a hug.
Kim didn't even need to think about it as they embraced in a tight hug. Ally and Jack smiled as Austin added, "Oh, and Jack". Jack nodded, signaling him to continue. "Thanks for being there for Kim. You two are really great together and I am sorry about your black eye".
"It's cool, sorry about yours too and thank you. It means a lot coming from you and thanks for being by Ally's side through it all. I know being a popular is different but you guys are perfect together", Jack finished as everyone now had a smile on their face.
They all embraced in a group hug as the door unlocked.
End flashback.
"After that, we had a very good evening and now things are back to normal-ish", Austin added.
"That's great. We are all finally a group again", Dez cheered.
"Alright, since everything is good and we are done, I am heading out. See y'all next year", Trish said, leaving the group.
Everyone chorused in their goodbyes as the group started to dwindle down. Once only Dez and Jerry were left , they looked at one another and had that look of accomplishment; even though nothing was actually don't yet but the fact that they got this far was all they hoped for and now it was all about having fun with sweet, sweet payback.
The New Year came and went as the gang met on last time to make sure everyone knew exactly what their jobs were to make sure this plan goes absolutely flawless. "Ok, so we have everything set. Any questions?" Grace asked once they finished sharing all the information.
"Um, just one", Ally squeaked out.
"Shoot", Grace replied calmly.
"Well, we have Kira's plan in the bag but what about Grey? I mean, I know she technically didn't do all of it but she still had a part in it", Ally wondered curiously.
Cassidy and Grace shared a glance then nodded with Cassidy adding, "That's a good point. Grace and I will work on it. Can you and Kim take over out parts?"
Ally looked at Kim who shrugged her shoulders 'why not' and answered, "Sure", with a smile.
"Awesome. So that's all taken care of. Any other questions?" Grace probed.
Everyone shook their heads no as Jerry joined in, "Well in that case, good luck and see you all on Monday for phase one".
"Sounds good!" Trish and Milton cheered with everyone agreeing.
Everyone left with a big grin on their faces as this was single handed the craziest thing they have ever done but more importantly together as a team and poor Kira. She won't even know what hit her.
