A/N: Happy Valentine's Day my MadBeauties! Sorry if this chapter is a little slow and boring, more will happen in the next chapters, I promise (especially with how close we're getting to the wedding!). Enjoy!
Aurora:
It had been a few days and I still hadn't told anyone about my pregnancy. I wanted to wait until after the wedding which was in two days. I wanted to wait after the hype of it all, but I also couldn't wait to tell Jefferson for his reaction. I couldn't wait to see Grace running around with a little brother. This baby couldn't come soon enough, but the morning sickness couldn't leave soon enough. I almost threw up a lung this morning. Jefferson and I were currently in his car behind David's to show Emma the beans we had been growing which was secret to almost everyone.
When the cars stopped we all got out. "Why are we in the middle of nowhere?" Emma began complaining. Jefferson and I shared a smirk. "Why aren't any of you telling me anything?"
"Because you need to see it." Mary Margret said once we were all in front of her.
"Right, because that always ends well for me. Listen, whatever it is, it can wait. August was trying to warn me about something or someone dangerous."
"Doesn't matter." Jefferson told her.
Her eyebrows furrowed together as she looked back and forth at all of us. "Why not?"
"Because you need to see this." David said grabbing her hand as Mary Margret grabbed the other.
I grabbed Mary Margret's hand and Jefferson grabbed mine. Together we walked through the invisible shield and into the field of bean crops. Emma's eyes were so wide looking around and I saw Anton come running toward us. "Emma!
"Hey." She said a little uneasily as he moved to hug her.
"Are you here to help?" He asked once they let go of each other. "It's not quite harvest time yet."
Emma whipped around to the four of us. "Beans." I gave her a small shrug. "You're growing magic beans. That's what you were up to while I was in New York, why didn't you tell me?"
"We are telling you." David said while throwing his hands in the air.
"We kept it a secret to protect the crop." Jefferson told her.
"And Mother Superior cloaked the area." Mary Margret said looking up at the invisible barrier.
"That way Anton can do what he does best." I said smiling at the now small giant.
"Actually," He said, still smiling at me. "You haven't seen me play darts, but yeah, I do this pretty good."
"Oh, Anton," Emma said turning to him. "Don't take this the wrong way, but wh-why are you so-"
"Small?" She nodded. "Cora. She and Regina brought some magic to make me human sized." He looked down at himself with a smile and shrugged. "I kind of like it."
Leroy walked over to Anton with his eyes holding nothing, but anger. "Enough lollygagging. Back to it."
When Leroy walked back to the crops Anton turned back to us. "Dwarfs really like to work." He moved to hug Emma again and then waved. "Good to see you, Emma."
"You too." She told him as he walked off. She stood there for a moment with her back turned to us, lost in thought. "You want to use the beans to make a portal to go back to the Enchanted Forest." She turned back to us with her eyes wide. "That's why you didn't tell me. What about ogres and destruction and danger?"
"We can fix all of that." David told her encouragingly. "We did it before and we can do it again."
"We can start over, Emma."
"So you've changed your mind." Emma noticed at what Mary Margret had said. "You want to go there too."
"Not my mind, my heart. After what I did to Cora I think restoring our land is the best way to mend it."
Emma looked from Mary Margret to me. "What about you?"
"It'll be good for all of us," I told her. Even though I didn't really want to give birth without modern medicine, but I'm sure we could bring some things from this world into the Enchanted Forest. "The whole family, Henry, you."
"And we're from there." Jefferson defended. "You're from there."
She moved toward us. "This world is my home."
David stepped forward and grabbed her hands. "It's been nothing, but cruel to you. If we go back I think you might be able to have your happy ending." She looked at all of us and sighed, giving a slight nod, telling us she was on board.
Jefferson:
The dwarfs, David, Anton and I were all sitting in Granny's waiting for our food when Granny came up with a large tray. "Ten bowls of chili, no beans." She said as she read it off the ticket and set it down on the bar. "You boys got something against beans?"
"Let's just say we've had our fill over the last couple of weeks." David said as I pulled out my wallet and handed Granny the money.
Her eyes squinted as she took it from my hands and stared me down. "What exactly are you boys up to anyway?"
"Just a little landscaping." Leroy answered innocently.
She looked back to me and I shrugged. It was kind of the truth. "Is this seat taken?" I turned around and Gold was looking at Leroy who turned back to look at David and I. My teeth were clenched so tight that it hurt. I hated Gold for everything that had happened in the last few days. "You may wanna run along." He told Leroy. "I need to have a little chat with the prince and the hatter."
I rolled my eyes on how I had to be included in the conversation. I didn't even want to be in the same town as him at this point. "Sorry Leroy, we've got this." David told him.
Leroy reluctantly got up, grabbed the food and walked out with the rest of the dwarfs and Anton. "What do you want to chat about Gold?" I growled at him.
"Regina," He seemed really nervous. "She uh, helped jog Belle's memory."
"That's good then." I said with a shrug. Even though I hated Gold I liked Belle. She was really sweet and he didn't deserve her at all.
"No, wrong memories." I blinked a few times. I didn't even know Belle had cursed memories. "She now thinks she's a scantily clad barfly named Lacey. She has a false life as you did with Kathryn and Aurora when she was known as Rose with Dr. Whale, only hers involves a lot more alcohol."
"What do you want from us?" David asked as he sat down next to him with his eyebrows furrowed from confusion.
"I want to know how you did it." I blinked a few times. "Even when your heads were filled with false memories David Nolan still won Mary Margret's heart and Jefferson won Rose's."
"You want us to help you?" David asked like he didn't believe Rumplestiltskin would actually come to him for help.
"Well I didn't come here for the overpraised lasagna." Granny gave him a dirty look and he played it off with a smile.
"You got my wife to murder someone."
"Someone who would have killed all of you." I rolled my eyes at him. There was no way I was going to help him. "If you don't want to help, that's fine, but for the first time ever I'm gonna owe you a favor."
That would be interesting. I looked at David and he was raising his eyebrows at me as if to ask me a question. I rolled my eyes and nodded so he turned back to Gold. "Alright, when Regina cursed Mary Margret, Aurora and I there was still a sliver of all of us. The real us."
"So how do I bring back the real Belle?"
"Do what I did." I told him thinking back on how I talked to Aurora when she had no idea who I was when she was all I could think about. "Show her the man she fell in love with."
Aurora:
Emma and I were at Jefferson's (well I guess mine too) mansion with Henry and Grace playing on the piano which made me cringe at the loud piercing wrong notes coming from that beautiful instrument. "Imagine how crazy it's going to get when you and Jefferson start having kids."
Emma said as she sat down next to me at the dinner table with her cup of tea. I gave a nervous laugh and nodded. "It'll get crazy."
"Didn't you say that you already know what you're going to have when you start having children?"
"Yeah." I said with a nod. "Your grandmother, David's mother, was actually the one who had the enchanted necklace which predicted you."
She raised her eyebrows at me with a smile. "So, what are you going to have?"
I bit my lip uncomfortably. No one knew I was pregnant and I was talking to Emma like I had been pregnant for months and we were just waiting for the day the little bundle of joy was going to get here. "A boy." Emma squealed with delight and I rolled my eyes at her. "Jefferson is going to love the hell out of that thing."
I sighed, thinking about it. "I know."
"Especially since you're already pregnant." Emma whispered. My eyes grew wide and my mouth dropped. She began to laugh. "You know you should think of a better place to dispose of your positive pregnancy test."
I groaned and threw my head back. "I didn't want anyone to find out until after the wedding."
"Wait," She said as I picked my head back up. "Does Jefferson know?"
"No." I whispered, looking around first to make sure Grace and Henry weren't anywhere nearby. "You're the only person who knows. Congratulations."
Emma smirked at me. "Shouldn't you tell Jefferson?"
I sighed. "I want to get though all of this wedding stress first and then I will tell Jefferson."
She sighed and looked at me. "Well I think you should tell Jefferson as soon as possible, but I can't tell you what to do."
I nodded. "Thank you." I smiled and leaned into the table. "So, can we talk about you and Neal?"
She rolled her eyes. "There is nothing going on."
I rolled my eyes back. "I think there is something going on."
"He has a fiancé."
"So?" I said with a shrug.
"Aurora!" She scolded.
I rolled my eyes again. "Okay, but when things start happening with Neal you come to me first."
Emma smiled at me and put her cup up to mine for a cheers. "I promise."
Jefferson:
When we walked into the Rabbit Hole memories came back to me of the first time I had actually talked to Aurora when she was Rose and how I used to come here every time she and Mary Margret came just to get the privilege of seeing her. I scanned the room for Belle and saw her taking to some guy and when I looked to Gold he looked beyond jealous. "You might want to wait outside." He said pushing David back.
"No," He told him by putting a hand up, stopping him from trying to murder the man. "Come on."
He walked over to Belle and we took a seat close enough to them so we could hear, but not too close. "Mr. Gold," Belle said once she noticed him. "You're back."
"As are you."
"Well, what can I say? I love the ambiance." Wow, Lacey really was different from Belle. It was like they were two completely different people. "What the bloody hell is that?" She asked looking to the jukebox in the corner of the bar. "Let's get some Panama up in here." She turned back to Gold and he looked uncomfortable. "You like Van Halen? You're a Hager man aren't you? Huh?" He didn't say anything and she got up to go to the jukebox.
"What are you doing?" David asked leaning towards him.
"We have nothing in common." Gold complained.
I rolled my eyes at him and leaned forward so I could see his face. "That doesn't matter. You just need a way in. Ask her out."
"Go on." David encouraged. He walked away and we watched the two talk. "She's never gonna go out with him."
I shook my head as I watched them. "Girls like Lacey don't go for guys like Gold." I turned to him. "They go for guys like Rumplestiltskin though."
David turned to me wide eyed. "You don't think that he's going to-" I shrugged, cutting him off and we turned back to Gold and Lacey. "How do you know what girls like Lacey look for in guys?"
I chuckled a little thinking about it. "Because my last wife was just like Lacey." David's eyes widened. "And I used to be like Rumplestiltskin."
"Grace's mother?"
I nodded, thinking about it. "Yeah. How do you think Grace happened?"
He nodded, taking it all in, probably shocked that I had anything to say about that subject. I had been quiet about all of it for a long time with Aurora and she respected that space, but when she asked I told her. I wasn't not going to talk about it. And when I told her about who I was with her she accepted that I had changed and had no judgment towards me. That was one of the reasons why I had fallen in love with her all those years ago and was still in love with her. "Looks like it worked." David said as he stood up, pulling me out of my thoughts.
We walked over to him as a smile grew on his face and Lacey walked away. "Not bad Don Juan." I commented.
"Don Juan was nothing before he made a deal with me." I rolled my eyes and so did David.
"Well, you got her to go out with you." David said as he clapped his hand on his back. "Congrats."
"Indeed." Gold's smile disappeared and looked down, looking scared. "Now I just need her to fall in love with me."
Aurora:
When Jefferson came home after his day of growing and harvesting beans with David and the dwarfs Emma and Henry left leaving just Jefferson, Grace and I. Emma's words began to play though my head about how I should tell Jefferson and I knew I should, but it just didn't feel like the right time. He only had to wait two more days and the second after we walk down the aisle as husband and wife I'll tell him everything and we can focus on being a family.
