"Sisters?" asked Robin Hood in disbelief.
"Well half-sisters, we share a mother. An ambitious young woman who would do anything for power, including sleep around. The Zelena's father was a prince who didn't want anything to do with her afterword so in shame she had the Witch and then abandoned her on the side of the road. A few years later she married a different prince and had me. So I grew up in a privileged life and I married a widowed king while Zelena grew up in poverty with a father who hated her. She found out about me and how I had everything but wanted to throw it all away for a stable boy and she got jealous. Then she turned green, literally. Ironically her name means 'green' in Slavic languages and mine means 'queen' in Latin." Said Regina.
"Damn" said Robin, disregarding the comment Regina continued.
"I think she's really angry at our mother but since Cora is dead she's taking it out on me." Said Regina.
"So all of this, is just an elaborate plan to get back at your mother? At you?" asked Robin Hood.
"It seems so." Said Regina.
"And you're not at all concerned for your own safety?" asked Robin Hood.
"I am perfectly capable of handling a few fur covered children. Zelena is a coward, she sends her minions to do her dirty work because she is afraid of what might happen to her." Said Regina.
"Well anyone going up against you would be afraid, I can see that your reputation precedes you in every way. You are beautiful, regal, fierce, and scary." Said Robin Hood.
"But not evil?" asked Regina, her eyebrow raised in question and her arms crossed over her chest as she turned to face Robin Hood.
"Once I would have called you evil but not now, from what I've heard, and what I've seen, you have redeemed yourself and became a hero in the quest to find Baelfire and the Savior's son. You have apologized for your actions and have even made amends with Snow White." Said Robin Hood, stepping closer until his face was barely an inch from hers.
"Everybody in this town still hates me for what I did." Said Regina, her voice small.
"Not everybody." Answered Robin before cautiously meeting her lips with his, waiting for her to blast him with magic and send him flying away. What she did surprised him even more, she reached up and wrapped her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss. Robin wrapped his arms around her waist.
Red and Hook turned around in surprise.
"Congrats, you found me. Now what was step two of your plan? Did you even have one?" asked Zelena. Without thinking Red transformed into a wolf and lunged at Zelena but before Red could make contact three monkeys swooped down and blocked her path as Zelena disappeared and reappeared right in front of Hook.
"Hello Killian" said Zelena. Hook angrily swiped at her with his hook but his hand was stopped in midair and stuck. Hook struggled to try and move it, seeing that his arm was stuck he pulled out his sword and tried to use that. The sword cut through Zelena like butter, but caused absolutely no harm to her whatsoever.
"I don't understand." Said Hook.
"Steel has absolutely no effect on me, now taste…my…magic!" said Zelena before launching Hook backwards and lodging his Hook hand in the tree. As Hook struggled to get himself free Zelena smiled and disappeared. Red was still fighting her monkeys, she had managed to knock one of the monkeys out and it lay off to the side, shuddering. Hook finally got himself free by twisting his arm and and unlatching the hook from the cuff attached to his wrist. Falling to the ground with a grunt Hook quickly got to his feet and ran over to help. Pulling out a gun from his waistband Hook aimed and fired, careful not to hit Red or fatally wound the monkeys. He managed to clip it in the shoulder and it too fell to the ground, shuddering. The third monkey flew away before they could injure it. Red transformed back into a human.
"Are you alright?" she asked Hook.
"Yeah, you?" asked Hook, helping Red up.
"Yeah, we'd better find you another hook." Said Red.
"We'll have time for that later, we need to help those kids." Said Hook, pointing to the boy and girl who had just transformed.
"Do you know who they are?" asked Hook.
"Yeah, it's Hansel and Gretel. Hansel is unconscious, and I don't think that he is in any immediate danger, but we need to get Gretel to the hospital, she's bleeding heavily from her shoulder." Said Red.
"Ok but how do we get back to town? We are a day's walk at least." Said Hook.
"I can transform, all three of you could probably fit on my back." Said Red.
"Are you sure that's wise?" asked Hook.
"Not entirely but unless you can come up with something better? I'm sure you won't let them fall and I won't go too fast." Said Red before transforming, not giving Hook another chance to argue. Grudgingly Hook lifted up Hansel and then Gretel onto her back before climbing on himself.
"I hope your right about this" muttered Hook. Without warning Red took off and Hook was hanging on for dear life, also trying to make sure they didn't lose a kid in the process.
Emma and Neal were sitting in the station eating lunch.
"So what is he calling this operation?" asked Neal.
"Operation…" before Emma could finish she stood up and rushed to the bathroom. Neal hurriedly put down his sandwich and followed her. Holding her hair back as she heaved into the toilet. When she was finally done he said.
"Sorry I guess that sandwich wasn't the best thing for you."
"I don't understand why they call it morning sickness." Said Emma as she breathed heavily.
"You good?" asked Neal, Emma nodded and walked over to the sink to clean up.
"I'm gonna go find some food that you can actually eat." Said Neal before kissing Emma on the cheek and leaving.
"Thank you!" called out Emma after him.
When Neal got outside he pulled out his cell phone and called David.
"Hey what did Snow eat to try and calm the morning sickness when she was pregnant?" asked Neal.
-Well there wasn't really any designated food for that in our land, though I do remember her drinking a lot of peppermint tea. I think in this world a good remedy is sleep, small meals, and a lot of water and dry foods like crackers. Nothing too greasy and as much as she is going to hate this, get her to stay away from the bear claws. Said David.
"Alright thanks." Said Neal.
-good luck said David before hanging up.
Neal got done with the grocery shopping about an hour later, stowing everything in the back seat of the bug. Neal got into the driver's seat and was about to head back to the station when a big wolf with the pirate and two kids on its back passed him and ran towards the hospital. Neal pulled out his cell phone and called Emma as he followed the wolf in his car.
"Hey babe you might want to meet me at the hospital." Said Neal when he heard Emma pick up.
-ok, what's going on? Asked Emma.
"I don't know, hurry." Said Neal.
-I'll be there in a few said Emma before hanging up. Neal beet Emma to the hospital, but only by a second.
"What's going on?" asked Emma again.
"Red, in wolf form, ran past me with three people on her back, I think she came here." Said Neal. Suddenly the hospital doors opened and Hook came out.
"She did, we found some kids in the forest. Red says that their names are Hansel and Gretel." Said Hook.
"They were the first kids reported missing after Grace, their dad owns the auto repair shop about a block away from here." Said Emma.
"I'll get him, what's his name?" asked Neal.
"I don't know his fairytale name but his last name in this world is Zimmer." Said Emma.
"Alright I'll just ask for Zimmer then, I'll see you in a few." Said Neal before getting back in his car and driving away. Emma turned to Hook and asked.
"What happened?"
"We confronted the witch, or, she confronted us and set three of her flying monkeys on us before disappearing herself. The boy is unconscious and the doctors are treating a bullet wound in the girls shoulder, she's awake.
"And Red?" asked Emma.
"She's alright, just tired." Said Hook
"Good" said Emma.
"So I uh, I heard that you're pregnant. Congratulations." Said Hook. Emma looked at him.
"Thanks, you think that maybe you and Red are ever gonna…?" said Emma.
"Have kids? I don't know, maybe someday lass, after all of this is over. Besides, I'm having trouble seeing myself as a father. I was a father to Baelfire for about a day before he discovered that I was the the reason his mother left him and then I ended up handing him over to the Lost Boys…" Said Hook. Emma nodded.
"That was the past, you have a chance to redeem yourself, start over here." Said Emma.
"Maybe you're right Swan, maybe." Said Hook before walking back into the hospital.
