Kitty: Welcome to chapter 36! Please if you can review, it makes have that creepy smile you have when your watching a good moment in an anime and your family comes into the room and looks at you weird. So this is HonoNozo and Eli, forward warning, this is short because as I said in Our Love Story I'm visiting my grandparents, but I still tried hard at this chapter so please enjoy.
Rin: Kitten-chan does not own love live Nya!
"Elichi, sweetie it's fine, the storm is not that bad," Nozomi reassured, running her fingers up the four year old spine.
"But Mommy!" Eli wasn't actually scared of the storm itself, more of she had a fear of the lights turning off.
"Here you go Eli-chan!" Honoka smiled reassuringly and handed Eli some milk. Honoka got on Eli's other side, throwing her arm over Eli's shoulder. Nozomi smiled and kissed her love, then kissed Eli's head.
"It will all be okay my love," Nozomi assured again. Eli sighed and took a sip of milk. Honoka gave Eli a small smile while she moved a pillow to her back so she would be more comfortable.
"Eli-chan, even if the lights went out, we would be in your room with a flashlight before you even noticed the lights went out," Honoka hugged Eli with her arm a little more.
"That's right baby girl, so just close your eyes and sleep for me okay?" Nozomi asked, moving her hand from Eli's spine to her hair, stroking it lovingly.
"O-Otay Mommy," Eli took one last sip of milk and gave cup to Nozomi, who put it on her bedside table.
"It will all be okay honey, just sleep alright, I love you," Honoka helped Eli lay down, pulling the covers up to Eli's face as the girl started getting drowsy.
"Alwight Mama, I wove you too," Eli's covers felt so warm and sleep felt so inviting, Eli couldn't help but start to fall asleep.
"I love you Elichi, goodnight," Nozomi leaned down and kissed Eli's forehead.
"Goodnight Mommy, I wove you too," Eli yawned, Honoka attaching her lips to Eli's cheek as the little girl slowly closed her eyes with the warmth of her parents and her covers to lull her to a peaceful sleep.
"Come on Honoka-chan, let's go," Nozomi whispered, Honoka nodding getting the empty cup from Eli's bedside, they left Eli's dimly lit room. The two went back downstairs and Honoka put Eli's cup in the sink to be washed later.
"She seemed jumpy tonight," Nozomi commented.
"Yeah, being afraid of the dark must be terrible for her," Honoka sighed.
"Anyway, get over here Honoka-chan, I want my nightly cuddles or you'll be punished," Nozomi demanded, Honoka giggling and joining her love on the couch. Honoka sat in Nozomi's lap, putting her head on the older woman's chest and wrapping her arms around Nozomi's neck.
"I love you Honoka-chan," Nozomi got Honoka to look at her, then brushed their noses together.
"I love you too Nozomi-chan," Honoka smiled as a large crackle of thunder came on, the lights flickering off. Honoka jumped up and grabbed a flashlight she had set out, running up the stairs to Eli's side, Nozomi not to far behind.
"Mama, you remembewed," Eli smiled through her tears as Honoka embraced her.
"To come save you from the dark? I may forget stuff sometimes Eli-chan but I'll never forget something like this," Honoka stoked Eli's hair while Nozomi joined the two, Eli feeling the most comfortable in the dark than she ever had before.
