It was a bright and sunny day, the sky a lovely shade of blue while the clouds outside were big and fluffy. Inside the fourth-floor kitchen of the freshman dorms there was a vase with yellow flowers right next to the window, a few bowls and plates and a tower of teacups next to the sink. Set out on the island in the middle of the kitchen was a big red mixing bowl with a large wooden spoon, two eggs, a bag of FLOUR with a loaf of bread and some wheat on the bag, and lastly a purple-colored bag of CHOCO CHiPPiES.
Also, for some reason all of the colors were much more vibrant.
The next moment Ruby stood up from behind the island counter, though for some reason her head was the same size as her body; SD/Super-Deformed or Chibi-style for the die-hards out there. With an infectious smile on her face, the girl quickly set out to work.
First on the agenda was cracking an egg. Cracking it twice, a perturbed look overcame her adorable features as she continued to beat the egg against the edge of her bowl only for the shell to hold firm. After a rapid series of *click*s the girl lost all semblance of patience and yelled- "AAAGH!" –as she leapt high into the air before slam-dunking her egg into the bowl, a bit of egg and eggshell on her left cheek.
Next on the agenda was flour. Shaking the bag a few times, none seemed to want to come out. Looking inside to see if it was still occupied, the chibified girl made the mistake of turning the bag completely upside-down, a single downward shove causing the contents to empty out in a ninja-worthy smokescreen, the girl letting out a loud- "EYAAAAAGH!" –as the room became white-washed.
After that came time to add the chocolate chips. Attempting to be sneaky about it, the girl's fingers waggled as she took the bag into her hands, reaching in and taking a single chocolate chip before munching it. Blinking once before looking at the bag, a sly look overcame her face as the girl began eating the miniature chocolate treats by the handful, seeming to zip across the room and even outside for some reason before moving on to the mixing bowl.
The spoon however seemed to be cemented in place, and no matter how hard she tried she couldn't get it to move. Even when she went so far as to sit atop the island with her little boots pressed against the side of the bowl, she may as well have been the unworthy attempting to pull Excalibur from its resting place. Especially when she simply flung herself over the side backwards. Leaping up onto the island and grabbing the end of the spoon, she then began to run in place while pushing it, the bowl seemingly glued to the island for all the good it did her before she suddenly tumbled up and over with a *zewwm* followed by a *crash*. As a final strike the girl leapt up and tried to land a flying double-kick on the end of the spoon, only for a *crunch* to sound out, her left eye twitching before she fell to the floor ramrod straight.
Her plans for the spoon briefly abandoned, for whatever reason the girl had decided to sit herself down in the sink and shake bunches of chocolate chips into her gaping mouth, before throwing her head back and seemingly emptying the entire bag into her gaping mouth, the girl going bug-eyed as her foot twitched.
Finally after what felt like forever, the girl rose up from behind the island, her eyes upon a solitary glass of milk, and in her hands, a large chocolate chip cookie. Raising the confectionary treat up for a dunk, all she was met with was a dainty *clink*, the cookie too comically large to enter the narrow mouth of the piece of glassware. A frown on her face as she repeatedly tried to make the cookie go in, to the point that the glass bounced, the girl let out a defeated cry as she let herself fall back, the glass bouncing once before stopping.
*Clunk*
"Oof," Chibi-Ruby groaned as the glass of milk, inexplicably, toppled from its place on the counter and landed on her head.

Cue Transformers: The Score Soundtrack – Arrival to Earth
It was nighttime now, the stars twinkling in the sky, one Yang Xiao Long riding her faithful mechanical steed across the city's overpassing highways. Her Bumblebee glinting from a fresh coating of wax, the girl rode in what seemed to be solitude, only for a gleaming silver shape to suddenly fly up from underneath. The shape revealed to be an Atlesian fighter jet, Yang looked into her rearview mirror, narrowing her eyes before she jerked back the throttle and pulled forward right as the missile pods began to open.
Leaning her body to the left and to the right, the girl zig-zagged as the missiles flying towards her suddenly dipped down, punching holes into the highway and whipping at the girl's hair that spilled out of her helmet. Pulling a sick wheelie and coming to a momentary stop, one of the missiles overshot her before punching a hole in the road in front of her. Cocking back her Ember Celica and holding firm to the frame, the girl fired a concussive shot straight down, her ride leaping over the gaping hole before tearing down the road at full speed.
The final missile screaming towards them, Yang's ride suddenly bucked under her, sending the blond soaring high into the air. The sound of gears meshing and machinery whirring, the two-wheeled vehicle suddenly reared up onto a single wheel, the chassis twisting and inverting onto itself as a pair of mechanical arms folded out from the sides, yellow plates forming an effigy of insect wings on its back as the hood of her motorcycle folded backward, revealing a blue-eyed mechanical face wearing the chassis like a helmet. The mono-wheeled mecha now fully formed, Yang landed on its right shoulder, balancing her other foot on its forearm as it leveled a high-tech sawed-off shotgun at the craft assailing them.
Yang snapping her fists back as she loaded her Ember Celica, she began to fire exploding flares at the pursuing craft, the enemy vehicle tumbling to the ground only to undergo a startling transformation of its own. Twisting and coiling, rolling and spinning across the road and tearing up asphalt, a large gray-armored mecha nearly three times the Bumblebee's transformed size rose to prominence and began chasing after the two with powerful strides that caused the road to buckle and tremble in its wake.
The red-eyed mecha letting out a digital warbling akin to a feral war cry, the transformed Bumblebee burned rubber with a loud *SQUEEEEEEEEAL!* as it fired backwards, nitric oxide flames spilling out of the mufflers flaring away from its hips as it belted out rounds of mech-shot into the face of their pursuer, Yang continuing to fire bright fluorescent flares into its eyes in an attempt to force it over the side of the road.
"Bring it, Deceptabot scum!" Yang shouted as she loaded the high-temperature rounds, the white-hot flares burning the air itself and shearing off pieces of armor away from its targets body leaving rivulets of molten slag in its place.

Walking down the hall of a high-rise countless stories above the ground, the distant city resembling children's building blocks, was a beautiful woman who put all that she passed to shame. Tall, statuesque, and full-bodied, her pale skin shone in the sunlight filtering in the panoramic-view windows, her pale-blue eyes surpassing the beauty of even the world's loveliest sapphires by far, her silky white hair pulled back into an off-center bun tail and pinned in place with an icicle-shaped tiara. Some would think the small crooked scar running vertically down her left eye would detract from this beauty, but if anything, it only added to it, accentuating the woman's confident walk and ever-forward gaze.
Her attire consisted of a white double-breasted jacket with black piping, cuffs, and buttons over a white pleated full skirt with black lace trip. Down long, lovely legs were a pair of white thigh-high boots with black heels and lace-topped black stockings, each step causing her attributes to jiggle ever-so-slightly.
Turning the corner, the woman steadily approached the penthouse office at the northern end of her building, countless paintings, vases, and statues beyond measure decorating the hallway as she made her way towards a large set of double-doors.
Sitting behind an L-shaped oak desk was the woman's own personal assistant. His dark complexion was a stark contrast to the woman's own, his silver bangs and monochrome-colored hair were combed back away from expressive emerald-colored eyes. The young man was clad in a dark green business suit worn over a lean swimmer's frame, articulate fingers typing away at the holographic keyboard set out before him.
"Oh! Good morning, Ms. Silver," the young man greeted as he hastily rose from his seat and bowed at the waist.
"Please, please, there's no need to be so formal," the white-haired woman returned with a beautific smile. "Now tell me, Jake. How does my schedule look for today?" the billionaire heiress queried.
"Oh, well, um…" the young man stuttered nervously as he returned to his seet, straightened the papers on his desk, feeling the woman's eyes on him as he eventually located the printout he sought. "The thing is… your schedule is paced pretty tightly today," he said nervously brushing his hair back.
"Oh?" she asked coyly with a raised eyebrow. "How tight are we talking?" she asked, delicate fingers daintily walking across his desk before lifting his chin up.
"O-Oh… You know…" Jake replied with a flushed face. "Really *Gulp* really tight."
"I bet it is~" the white-clad woman replied in a sing-song tone. "Jake, be a dear and push everything back a full hour," she said walking around his desk.
"One hour? Why's that?" he said looking back down at the planner, his back arching as she leaned over his right shoulder breathed into his ear.
"I feel like being wide open for my favorite employee," the heiress replied with a cat-like grin, slender fingers gripping his necktie before pulling him out of his chair and toward her office doors. "Of course… that space in my schedule won't be open for very long~" she purred, the heiress and her personal assistant disappearing behind large oak doors.
And, in a vastly different dream being had…

Cue Kingdom Hearts Orchestra –World Tour- OST – Treasured Memories
The setting was a sandy beach, briny waves ebbing and flowing to the shore over seashells and milk-white sand, the sky crystal clear with the warm sun's ray shining down. Off in the distance on a pair of beach chairs were two mothers chatting like old friends and doting on their children from afar. A little ways away by some palm trees were a pair of fathers, each barely tolerating the existence of the other if only for the sake of their respective spouses and children. And at the center of this little phantasmal world, were two small children less than a decade old.
The first was a small Faunus girl with wavy shoulder-length ebony tresses, amber-colored eyes, olive skin, and a pair of small cat ears sitting atop her head. Her attire consisted of a purple blouse with a black ribbon wrapped around her waist and a pair of purple sandals on her feet.
Standing across from her was a child barely older than herself, though the edges of his person were hazy, like smoke, his body jet-black as though he were bathed in shadow. All that could be seen of his face was a row of pearly white teeth, his shadowed visage like that of a forgotten memory.
"Come on, big brother! Let's play hide and go seek!" the cat-eared girl said with a beaming smile.
"Okay… You're it!" the boy across from her said as he quickly tapped her on the nose before running off.
"Oooh!" the girl pouted. The pout giving way to a smile, the girl turned around and covered her eyes, counting the numbers away. A half-minute later- "… Nineteen… Twenty! Ready or not, here I come!" she said whirling around, her once exuberant face quickly turning to one of worry and doubt.
The sky, once bright and sunny, was now pitch black like the darkest void, neither moon nor star to pierce the darkness. The sea off in the distance had become dead, the ebb and flow of waves no longer present. Even the small town in the distance had completely disappeared, leaving naught but a blackened horizon. It was a few moments later that she realized something even more terrifying.
She was alone.
All alone.
"Mommy?" the Faunus girl said turning to the beach chairs, only to find them vacant. "Daddy?" Turning to the palm trees, they too were now void of personage. "Big brother…?" she said looking around to the beach, seeing nothing but an expanse of now ash-colored sand in her wake. "Where… Where did you go?" she asked hugging her knees to her chest, a knot of loneliness growing in the pit of her stomach. "Big brother!" she said as she finally caught sight of him, standing on the horizon. "Big brother! Everyone's gone!" she cried as she ran towards him, yet the distance between them did not shrink. If anything, the distance only continued to grow, the distant memory drifting even further away even as she ran with all her might. "Big brother… Big brother, where are you going?!"
It was by a twist of fate that, all at once, their dreams were interrupted with the force of a nuclear strike on the signing of a monumental peace treaty.

"Nooooo… my cookieeeeeee…" Ruby groaned as she turned over in her sleep.
"Go get em' Bumblebee… Mods and upgrades for the win… Pown the noobs…" Yang snickered in her sleep.
"Come now… You can do it…" Weiss sighed blissfully as she hugged her pillow to herself. "Go for ten… go for ten…" the heiress moaned, face flushed red as her hands roamed down her body in her sleep. "That's it… keep going… keep going…"
'Probably could've gone my whooooooole life without hearing that…' Jack thought to himself as he listened to Weiss sleep-talk, a flat expression on his face as he looked away. "Reeeeeeeally uncomfortable," he added, left eye twitching as the girl rubbed her thighs together in the background.
"Come back…" Blake moaned in her sleep, Jack looking to the sleeping Faunus girl, who somehow kept her ribbon on even in her sleep. "Come back… big brother… Don't… Don't leave me…" she cried, tears causing the corners of her eyes to glisten.
'Huh. Guess I picked as good a time as any to wake them up,' Jack thought to himself, carefully inserting earplugs into all four of his ears. 'Just like how yesterday was a good time to get this,' he said holding up a familiar air horn. *HWOOOOOOOOOONK!*
"EYAAAAAAAGH!" Ruby squealed as the noise assaulted her ears, causing her to jump up and tumble out of bed, dangling above the floor in a tangle of limbs and bed sheets.
"UWAH!" Weiss suddenly gawped, a bit of drool running down the corner of her mouth, her hair a complete mess.
"GRENAAAAADE!" Yang cried half-asleep. Off to the side Blake bolted awake, rapidly blinking her eyes before wiping the wetness from her face.
"Alright, girls! Up and at-em!" Jack shouted as the girls began to rub their eyes in perfect synergy, he himself removing his earplugs. Except for Ruby, who was still dangling off her bedside in a cocoon of bed sheets. "It's Friday, and we've only got a couple hours until Sports Day starts, so I want to see some hustle out there!"
"Shouldn't Ruby be doing this sort of thing?" Weiss asked. A cocking of Jack's head to the foot of her bed made Weiss now aware of Ruby's dire straits, a foot sticking out of her place of confinement as she continued to struggle. It was only by the merit of the girl's bed-making skills which Weiss drilled into her head that the folded-under corners continued to hold.
"While we wait for Ruby to blossom into a beautiful butterfly from her cocoon of bed sheets, the rest of you start freshening up," he said jabbing a thumb over his shoulder to the ensuite. "I'll be hitting the showers," he said making for the door.
"Right behind you~" Yang purred.
"I'd actually… like to be alone with my thoughts for the moment," Jack said raising a hand to stop her, grabbing his toiletries before disappearing into the hallway.
"Disappointed you aren't going with?" Blake felt the need to ask.
"A little," the blond pouted.
"If anything, he'll be nice and sweaty later on," Weiss said as she flattened the creases in her nightgown.
"Huh. I expected you to be the last person to say that sort of thing," Blake hummed.
"That's because some people are a very bad influence," Weiss said shooting a glare at Yang.
"Why you looking at me like that?" Yang asked right as Ruby tumbled out of her bedsheets and onto the floor.

"Yeah, yeah, I hear you…" Jack sighed to his stomach as he disrobed, back to the wall as per usual. "I'll get you something in a minute," he said as he looked at the bandages and coverings across his chest. Slowly undoing them, he saw that the large H-shaped scar had healed remarkably well for only a few days recovery. Patting at the seams in his flesh, he decided that the stitching was done well-enough that he could get them a little wet and finally give himself a good washing.
Stepping into the shower, the Faunus was immediately blasted by a deluge of freezing-cold water. Just because his skin was hydrophobic didn't mean he couldn't feel it.
After a minute or so the temperature began to go up, and the Faunus began to wash himself up. His chest was still a little raw, but there wasn't any risk of his chest suddenly splitting open, so for the time being everything was good.
Looking out the corner of his eye to his bathrobe, the glint of the lapis-like crystal in the pocket shone brightly against the dark green robe; with something so valuable, even if only sentimentally, he felt the need to keep it close. Rays of light bouncing off the stone, Jack turned his attention back to his grooming before he could lose himself to its otherworldly luster, raking his fingers through his body-length mane of hair. Were it not for the hydrophobic nature of his lochs, it might very well take hours to thoroughly clean it.
Metaphorically of course.
"Maybe I should stop giving Yang such a hard time about her hair," the Faunus hummed as he turned his face to the showerhead, missing the momentary glimpse of a far-off place through the lapis-colored crystal.

"Am I the only one weirded out by all the girls wearing bloomers?" Jack asked Ren as both teams headed for homeroom after breakfast, young men and women all over Beacon dressed in the Sports Day clothes they were either provided or already owned. Both genders were clad in white V-neck T-shirts with dark green trim and all-white sports sneakers; the gender disparity was that the women were clad in dark green legless bloomers, while the men were clad in dark green knee-length shorts.
"Only a little bit," Ren hummed as Nora skipped at the head of the group, her talent bouncing tantalizingly and drawing the eyes of passer-by. "And it seems like someone's taking in the sights," he said turning to Jaune who was shamelessly ogling Weiss in her own uniform for the day. Off to the side, a certain red-head huffed with a pout as she crossed her arms.
"Yeah…" Jack growled feeling a knot of ire form in his stomach. "I should probably fix that."
"Don't… Don't hurt him too badly," Pyrrha said tugging his sleeve.
"Says the girl pouting like a dejected lover," the Faunus returned, which caused Pyrrha to puff her cheeks out in ire. "Don't worry, I won't hurt him too badly," Jack said ruffling her hair before making his way over to the blond.
'Oh god… The things I would do to that girl…' Jaune thought with a flushed look on her face as he eyed Weiss' bloomer-clad derriere.
"Hey Bitch-face," Jack said suddenly snapping his fingers in front of Jaune's face, the blond nearly leaping out of his skin. "I got some things to say to you."
"Wh-What is it?" Jaune asked, nervous like the kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
"First off, you're not doing yourself any favors by being the same type of idiot horn-dog that Weiss hates," Jack said raising a finger. "Secondly, keep it in your pants, lover-boy. You're one wardrobe malfunction away from a sexual harassment lawsuit," he said raising another finger, Jaune scrambling to adjust his shorts. "And thirdly, no means no. If you get fresh with her today just because she's wearing legless bloomers, that's going to be a problem, and if I have a problem, then you've got a problem, you understand me?"
"Y-Yes sir!" Jaune yelped nervously, Weiss momentarily glancing over her shoulder before looking back forward without a second thought.
"Good… Now get going while I'm still in a good mood," Jack said slapping the blond on the back, Jaune nodding his head frantically as he ran off. A flash of blond catching the white-haired girl's eye, Weiss internally groaned as Jaune ran up to her, wondering what his approach would be today. However, when the blond completely ignored her, color the heiress surprised; normally when the rest of Team RWBBY wasn't in her immediate vicinity, Jaune would be pestering her about all kinds of things, most of which were dates.
"Huh. I didn't know you cared for Weiss that way," Pyrrha hummed, a small smile tugging at her features. "Do I need to be worried for Weiss' chastity in the immediate future," she teased. "You know, in case you decide to re-enact that one scene from the movie you were in."
"I'm just looking out for a teammate is all. Anything between Weiss and I is strictly platonic," Jack waved off. "Besides, I've seen a ton of creepy stalker fanboys skulking around idols in my day, and all of them started out just like Jaune; a bunch of horny guys who won't take "no" for an answer and think if they wear the object of their affections down enough, they'll eventually get what they want."
"You don't think Jaune would try anything untoward, would he?" Pyrrha asked worriedly.
"At the very least, he isn't as bad as some of the stalkers I've been hired to smack around over the years, so there's hope for him yet," Jack shrugged. "At least when Weiss tells him to leave her alone, he actually backs off instead of getting in her personal space and threatening her. In that regard, Jaune actually is more chivalrous than your run-of-the-mill fanboy."
"That's a relief," Pyrrha sighed.
"Yes, well, you'll want to act quickly before Weiss actually caves and decides to give him the time of day. If Jaune actually does get a date out of Weiss, you can kiss your shot at "tall, blond, and scraggly" goodbye," the Faunus shrugged.
" . . . I should go talk to him," Pyrrha said nervously as she ran off.
"Ah, young love… with all the twists and turns and plot twists to be found in a deranged love triangle," Jack shrugged as he shook his head. "Jaune likes Weiss, Weiss is kind of a fangirl for Pyrrha, and Pyrrha has eyes for no-one else but Jaune… I'm curious to see how it'll turn out."
"You really don't feel anything for Weiss?" Ren asked with a raised brow.
"Like I said, our relationship is strictly professional," Jack waved off once again. "Also, Weiss might be growing as a person, but if she still lets her father hold her by a set of puppet strings, she'd never be able to commit to a relationship with anyone other than whom her father chooses for her out of a list of politically-beneficial suitors."
"Well… crack PR team or not, Jacques has to be feeling some of the heat after the recent scandals," Ren admitted with a shrug, referring to a set of pictures slipped into the interweb depicting borderline slave-like working conditions at an SDC strip-mine. "Hell, people are still talking about the whole Mount Silver debacle, and that was years ago."
"Yes, well, at least Weiss no longer thinks it was an unprovoked attack," Jack said rolling his shoulders. "But hey, level with me for a minute here. If it isn't Ozpin, then wouldn't someone on the faculty have a weird students-wearing-bloomers fetish in order for the Sports Day uniform to be… this?"
He was of course gesturing to the well-built women of various age groups clad in legless bloomers and short-sleeved T-shirts which, when properly filled out, stretched enticingly to accommodate. Some of the young women abound were built tall and muscular like the Amazon warriors of myth, Pyrrha Nikos being a key example of that archetype. On the opposite end of the spectrum, there were the more petite and child-like students who were just barely womanly enough to avoid the realm of pedophilia; Ruby Rose was one such archetype, though there were girls that looked even younger who could only be called "lolita".
"I don't think muscular growth was taken into consideration when the uniforms were designed," Ren stated as he looked his lifelong friend up and down; at least with far more subtlety than Jaune did when he ogled Weiss. Nora's penchant for explosive jumps have made her thighs and calves toned and well-muscled, her near-constant intake of syrup and carbs helping to maintain her feminine curves regardless of her monstrous strength. It was kind of hard to not notice certain attributes when the girl would bounce up and down on her bed out of boredom. "Still… How are you enjoying the show?"
"I have a… healthy appreciation for the female form," Jack said giving the members of his Team a once-over. For Ruby, it was the same look a brother would give his kid sister before picture day to make sure there weren't any fashion faux-paus in place that would be staring up at her from the page of a yearbook for all eternity. When it came to Weiss, even in something as ordinary as gym clothes, the heiress was still able to wear it with an air of elegance and grace that bellied the commonality of the garb. Blake was still wearing her ribbon over her ears, so the Faunus figured that anyone with a cat-girl fetish would only need a little bit of imagination to… you know. As for Yang, the busty blond was filling out her uniform in all the right places, drawing many an eye towards her; and causing many boyfriends (prospective or otherwise) to be smacked upside the head. It of course didn't help that the girl tied part of the shirt off at the side to expose her midriff, baring… pretty much the same amount of skin her usual non-uniform outfit bore.
"Says the only non-virgin between our two teams," Ren sighed.
"Spoken like a true bishounen," Jack chuckled.
"So, you think Jaune's the one getting expelled at the end of the day?" Ren asked.
"Maybe. Maybe not. Don't really care," Jack shrugged. "It's kinda dark that you have so-little confidence in your own leader. Wanna elaborate on that?"
"In order to be a leader, one actually has to lead," Ren returned, thinking back to the time when the blond had completely ditched Team Juniper at the end of the previous semester in favor of Team Cardinal. "To tell you the truth… I'm beginning to have my doubts about the credibility of his credentials," he whispered.
"Was it that obvious?"
"As obvious as all the beat-downs he's been getting all semester. In all honesty I'm surprised he could formulate a landing strategy, let alone survive the Emerald Forest."
"You going to say anything to the rest of your team?" Jack asked. No use lying to the guy if he already had his own suspicions.
"I have a feeling that Pyrrha already knows, or at the least suspects him. Nora… might not really care all that much. Or she'll want to break his legs, either-or."
"So you'll just keep quiet?"
"Unless that silence puts my friends in danger, I'll keep my mouth shut," Ren shrugged.
"And if that silence does put your friends in danger?" Jack asked.
"Well… It's not like anyone will be able to prove anything," he said cryptically. "Besides, I figure I should give him some shot before I decide to… remedy, the situation," he said ominously.
"That's darker than I gave you credit for. Like, yakuza-level dark," Jack chuckled. "So that raises the question… what Family do you belong to?" he piqued with a raised eyebrow.
"I have no idea what you're talking about,"Ren returned with closed eyes and a friendly "pretty boy" smile.
"Right," Jack shrugged.

"Good morning, my students!" Professor Port greeted from behind a podium, clad in a white V-neck instead of his usual double-breasted burgundy suit. Because of his proportions, the sizing had to be XXL with how much he "jiggled" during class.
"Good morning, professor," the students in his homeroom parroted.
"I hope you had a restful week, because in a few minutes we'll be taking to the athletic fields to partake in Sports Day, and you'll need every ounce of your vigor!" he said exuberantly. "Now, before I let you youths loose upon the field of battle, it is up to me to lay down the rules of conduct," he said puffing himself up. "While I'm sure you had similar events at the Combat Schools you attended prior to coming to Beacon, never in any of those events were you allowed to use your Aura, which in all likelihood was done to create a level playing field for people of various backgrounds. I am happy to announce that today, that stipulation will no longer be in effect," he said with a smile behind his moustache, piquing the students' attention. "If you will look to the table to my left, you will see a number of Inhibitor Bands on display," he said gesturing to the table on his side; on it were a number of dark-gray bands with a single large red light, and circumnavigating the rest of the band was a single inlaid LED line. "Each students is required to wear one and have it checked before competing in any events. While based on the Inhibitor Cuffs that keep Rogue Huntsmen from using their powers to escape from incarceration for any crimes they have committed, these have been modified so that only your Semblance is inhibited, whereas your Aura will remain untouched."
"So you're saying we can use our Aura during the competition to empower ourselves?" Weiss asked.
"Of course, Ms. Schnee!" the man replied. "While one's Semblance may give them an unfair advantage at certain events in a way which may be compared to cheating, because everyone in our line of work has Aura, it is necessary to allow that to be used for level play, since Auric Empowerment will become a part of your everyday lives."
"So then aptitude in these events isn't only a matter of our base physical capabilities, but how much we can saturate ourselves with Aura to augment our natural capabilities?" Pyrrha asked.
"That is correct, Ms. Nikos," the man replied, his belly jiggling. "However, be wary. If you place too many metaphorical eggs in a single basket, doing so could come back and bite you in the buttocks at a later juncture."
"So we have to be careful to save enough of our Aura to use in all the events?" Ruby asked.
"Ah-ha! You're all on fire this morning!" the man laughed boldly. "Now, if you will look right in front of you, you will see a sign-in sheet for the day's "menu"."
"When did he pass these out?" Jack asked seeing said sheet of paper right in front of him.
"As I'm sure you're all aware, Ozpin dictated that at a minimum, you are required to participate in six events. While it is also possible for you to compete in all the events on your menus, take heed that doing so locks you into a form of contract where competing in said events is mandatory. You will not be excused from an event simply because you've bitten off more than you can chew, so take heed as you sign on for any supplementary hurdles you wish to overtake," he explained as the students looked over their menus.
PRECURSORY EVENTS [MANDATORY]
Side-to-Side Jumps (30 Seconds)
1500-Meter Run
Vertical Jumping
Softball Throw
Grip Strength
Standing Long Jump
Seated Toe Touch
SUPPLEMENTARY EVENTS [PICK 6]
Weightlifting
Shot Put
Punching Machine
Arm Wrestling
Whack-a-Mole
Rock Climbing
Tug-of-War
Swimming (100 Meters)
Obstacle Race
'Whack-a-Mole? Seriously!?' Jack gawped at the ludicrous-sounding event.
"Any other questions?" Port asked.
"Ozpin's email said there would be prizes today. Will they be distributed after each event as-applicable, or only at the day's end?" Ruby asked with a raised hand.
"Any rewards outside the pulse-pounding thrill of competition will be handed out based on the impact you have with the panel of judges and prize-givers, so be sure to put on a good show! Attaining notoriety for oneself and one's own team is also part of being a Huntsmen or Huntress," the man answered. "Are there any further questions?"
"Um…" Jaune said raising up his hand. "Say that you don't check-mark six of the supplementary events… What'll happen?"
"Expulsion!" the man replied without skipping a beat.
"R-Right…" Jaune said turning back to the list. All of the supplementary events were daunting, but he could only afford to skip out on two, and having only had his Aura for a week past a month, he was definitely going to be at a disadvantage compared to his peers who had been Empowering themselves for far longer.
"Anything else?" Port asked, getting shook heads in return. "No? Then I have only one thing to say to you," he said coughing into his fist before holding out his Blunderaxe like a cavalryman's sword. "Onward… to GLORY!" he shouted as he ran out from behind the podium, revealing his choice in attire from the waist-down.
"OH GOD! WHY IS HE WEARING SHORT-SHORTS?!" one student shrieked as all of the man's rippling thighs came into view.
"MY EEEYES!"
"BRAIN BLEACH! I NEED BRAIN BLEACH!"
"I CAN NEVER UN-SEE THIS!"
"In terms of the most-horrifying thing I've ever seen…" Jack said aloud as Teams Ruby and Juniper around him recoiled in horror. " . . . This isn't even in the top ten."
"WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU SEEEEEN!?" Yang demanded as she shook Jack by the collar.
"Things… Horrible… horrifying things," Jack shuddered.
*GIANT-SLAYER*
The year's four freshman teams for the Huntsmen course reconvening in one of the gymnasiums on campus, RWBBY looked around to see freshmen in the other courses gathering as well, panels of judges and scorekeepers abound. While Team CRDL was flexing their muscles for the ladies, Team RWBBY and JNPR looked on to see Jack's old team finally entering the gym, four-strong instead of the previous three.
"So that's who their fourth is?" Blake asked looking the guy over.
"He doesn't look so tough," Yang brushed off.
"W-Well I don't know about that," Jaune gulped at the guy's height.
"Well… Nice to see that Ozpin took my advice and didn't put a Faunus on their team. Or you know. A girl," Jack shrugged while giving the guy a once-over.
What stood out about the guy first and foremost was how tall he stood; at seven feet in height, the guy towered over anyone else in freshman year by a whole foot! In terms of complexion, the guy was a little darker than lightly tanned, having definitely spent a lot of time under the sun before coming to Beacon if the freckles on his face were any indicator. When it came to physique, the newcomer put even guys like Cardin to shame, the scars criss-crossing his arms holding the eye; by conservative estimates, the guy had half as much muscle as a guy like Toriko, who could level a skyscraper with a single well-placed punch. The guy had a strong jawline, dark brown eyes, and spiky bright red hair that was brushed back away from his face with two lochs sticking up in a way that made him look like he had horns.
"Uh-oh. He's coming this way," Ruby said nervously as the former Team DIRJ's new member started making his way toward them. If the guy looked tall before, he definitely looked taller up close.
"If he tries anything, we've got your back," Weiss said putting a hand on the Faunus' arm.
"Thanks. Hopefully I won't need it," Jack said as he walked forward to meet the guy halfway. Up close he was even taller than he seemed, though Jack refused to angle up his chin, instead only angling up his eyes by sheer principle.
For a moment the two seemed to size one another up, arms crossed and not a word being said. Eventually it was the newcomer who spoke first, a friendly line pulling at his features.
"Hello there, you must be Jack Braxton," the large teen greeted with a friendly smile, a stark contrast to the stink-eye the rest of his team was giving the Faunus from behind the guy's back. "From what Ozpin told me, I have you to thank for this callback to Beacon. The name's Terrence. Terrence Timber. "
"Yes, well, what can I say? Something about your file just leapt out at me," Jack replied.
"It wouldn't happen to be that my name makes those guys Team Dirt, would it?" the now-named Terrence asked.
"Oh my god… Those guys are Team Dirt now?" Yang snickered, Weiss glaring at the blond for her lack of tact.
"Yeah… Seemed funnier at the time. Sorry about that," Jack said ignoring Yang's comment.
"No worries. No worries," the guy waved off. "It doesn't bother me that much, but well… you might wanna watch you back around the rest of my team," he whispered. "Those guys definitely hold a grudge."
"If they couldn't beat me three-on-one when I was sleep deprived and half-starved, I doubt they'd beat me when I'm at full strength," Jack returned casting a brief red-eyed glare at the three, causing them to flinch back. "They're cowards, the lot of them."
"Good to know. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better," the taller teen said extending his hand, Jack clasping it. The two exchanged a brief, but firm, shake, veins momentarily bulging up their arms before Terrence walked off.
" . . . You don't think he'll try anything, do you?" Weiss asked once the newcomer had walked away.
"Not sure. Terrence doesn't seem that petty," Jack shrugged, shaking out his hand behind his back to all but Pyrrha's eyes.
"Did you honestly recommend Terrence for this callback just because your former team would always be called Dirt?" Weiss asked.
"Yes. Yes I did."
" . . . I should've known you'd reply like that without an ounce of shame," the heiress sighed.
"Yes, well, even if he is bitter enough to gang up on me with the rest of them, I've faced worse odds before," Jack laughed off.
"Come on, guys! The events are almost starting!" Ruby said dragging Weiss off.
"Good luck, everyone," Pyrrha said with a smile.
"I don't need luck. I have ammo," Jack chuckled darkly.
" . . . I can't tell if you're joking or not," Jaune said aloud, wondering where Jack would even keep a piece. The Hunters-in-Training beginning to gather, Pyrrha had a pensive look on her face before she walked forward, grabbing onto Jack's hand.
"Tch!"
"I'm sorry!" Pyrrha reeled back.
"Nah, don't worry about it," Jack said shaking out his hand. "Did you want to ask me something?"
"I…" Pyrrha said as she watched the Faunus cradle his hand behind his back. "I'm not sure."
"Ah… Well, I'll talk to you later then," Jack said walking off.
"Right…" Pyrrha said watching the Faunus' back before casting a look over to the newcomer. " . . . Later."
Test 1: Side-to-Side Jumps
The students swiftly formed lines in front of a panel of seated judges, each one holding a mechanical tally counter in their hand, while a single judge held a digital timer in his hands. At the blow of a whistle, each student began jumping side-to-side, their feet and sometimes their entire lower bodies alight with Aura. Those who were the fastest on their feet were practically blurs of motion, a few of the Hunters leaving afterimages in their wake, while those who weren't as-skilled wound up toppling over and fell so far behind they'd never be able to catch up.
Since the Side-to-Side Jumps had a 30 second allotment, the students for the various courses were cycled through rather quickly, though students were only ranked against one another within the same courses, so obviously the Tailors and the Blacksmiths and the Hunters were tallied separately from one another.
"Yeah! I did it!" Ruby cheered as she looked at the Freshman Hunters' results, the hooded girl getting a whopping 90 side-to-side jumps within 30 seconds. And mind you, because she was wearing a Semblance-inhibiting cuff on her wrist, that was WITHOUT her Semblance, just by empowering herself with her Aura. Right behind her was Blake at 83 side-to-side hops, while just behind her was Jack at- "Hey Jack?"
"Yes, Ruby?"
"If the side-to-side jumps is basically like Instantaneous Movement, and you're the one who trained me, then how come you only got around eighty side-to-side jumps?" she asked pointing to Jack's 3rd place slot on that event.
"It's gonna be a long day, Ruby. Do you really think it's wise to burn yourself out so early in the day?"
" . . . Crap! Was this one of those read-between-the-lines things?" she realized to her shock. She herself had already built up a sweat from the board-breaking high score, but other like-minded competitors had already conserved some of their energy for later events.
"I'm sure you'll get a water-break, but if you're going to excel in events, I'd recommend going mid-power against the ones you yourself aren't geared towards, that way you actually have energy left for the afternoon's events," Jack suggested. "As long as you get enough top-tier scores, I don't think you'll have to worry about Ozpin expelling you at the end of the day."
"What about you?"
"I've got a year and loads more training on the rest of you guys. I can afford to go full-throttle for longer, I just don't want to burn my energy on the precursory events when it's the ones in the afternoon that're going to need my full attention," the Faunus replied. "Make sure to build up an appetite. You'll need room to fuel up before the afternoon's events."
"Right!" Ruby cheered pumping her fist.
Test 2: 1500-Meter Run
The next event, the 1500-meter run, was contextually 15/16ths of a mile, with all the Freshman Hunters running the course around the edge of the gymnasium at the same time. The starting gun going off with a loud *BANG!*, everyone immediately shot past the starting line like bats out of hell, Ruby, Blake, Jack, Pyrrha, and Ren just-as-immediately breaking away from the pack leaving everyone in their dust. Those who were more-oriented towards strength rather than speed had a hard time breaking away from one another and catching up, while those who were simply more athletic like Yang, Nora, and even Dove were able to break away but never quite catch up to the trail-blazers.
At three minutes fifty three seconds Ruby was the first to clear the near-mile run, Jack behind her by only three seconds, Ren behind him by five seconds, Blake behind him by four, and Pyrrha scarcely behind Blake by two seconds. The girl may've won the Mistral Regional Championship tournament four years in a row, but when the best of the best (of their age bracket) all got together in one place, "The Invincible Girl" clearly wasn't the best at everything.
"Hah… hah… hah… I… did it…" Ruby panted out, a light sweat dripping down her forehead as she caught her breath, the rest of her class beginning to cross the finish line a whole minute after Pyrrha had.
"Ruby… *pant* don't… *wheeze* burn yourself out… *gasp* too quickly…" Yang chided, the girl dripping with sweat.
"Says the girl already drenched in sweat," Blake commented.
"Hey… I wasn't going to let myself… fall too far behind," the blond argued.
"Well, at least you're not that guy," Jack said pointing to Jaune who just barely scraped away from last place in front of some of the members of his old team, the scraggly blond falling flat on his face and sounding like he was about to hack up a lung.
"I suppose you're right," Yang admitted.
"Maaan, Jaune, you are out-of-shape," Nora said skipping up to him. "You should really work on your cardio."
"Shut… up… Nora…" the blond panted.
"You know, I don't think I've ever seen Weiss sweat so much since we've been here," Yang said looking toward the heiress, the girl already tired and sweaty, dabbing herself off with a towel.
"Well to be fair, heiresses aren't really built for this kind of strenuous activity," Jack shrugged. "Most of her speed so far has come from her Glyphs, but now that she only has Aura to fall back on, it seems like being out of practice when it comes to speed really bit her in the butt."
"Yeah, well, at least the next event will be a little less stressful," Yang sighed.
Test 3: Vertical Jumping
Next came the Vertical Jumping portion, a height gauge set up next to some kind of motion tracker. Each student was allotted three attempts with the highest of them being tallied. This event went by rather quickly, the initial best-scores being Blake, Ren, and Jack, though with a fair number of students yet to take this part of the exam, there was bound to be a dark horse or two somewhere among their ranks who could blow them away.
"Nora Valkyrie," the judge called out.
"IIII'm ready~" the girl said in a sing-song tone as she skipped out to the square at the bottom of the height gauge. Crouching down until her bloomers almost touched the floor and body bunched up as tightly as she could get it, her entire lower body was positively shining with a bright pink Aura before the girl suddenly launched herself up into the air, higher and higher and higher until-
*CRASH!*
"Oh my goodness!" Weiss gasped as Nora's head smashed through the ceiling, her body dangling like some kind of ornament, with everyone staring up at her like turkeys in the rain.
"I'm pretty sure that broke a few school records," Jaune said staring straight upward.
"Yeah, no shit, Sherlock," Jack stated.
"Nora's certainly going up in the world," Pyrrha stated with a small grin.
"Hey, puns are my thing!" Yang snapped.
"She's gonna fall," Blake stated as Nora wiggled her body in circles to get free.
"She'll be fine," Ruby commented as Nora pushed against the ceiling like a cartoon character.
"She's falling," Ren said a moment later as Nora's head slipped through the hole with a *pop*, the red-head giggling like mad as she fell towards the floor. A couple seconds later and, of all the places for her to land, Nora's bloomer-clad nethers came down right atop Jack who just like the rest of the Hunters in their year had been staring straight upward.
"Ahhhn~" Nora moaned as she landed on his face, her hands going to Jack's jawline for support as he wobbled around trying to remain upright.
"Jack, you lecherous pig!" Weiss growled at the Faunus with twitching eyes while the red-head atop his face bore a lewd expression on her face. In the background, numerous boys were slouching to hide any erections they may or may not have had.
"If I knew something like this could happen, I would've tried harder," Yang said with a sigh.
"Jack… Why is your face in Nora's bloomers?" Ruby asked with a reddening face. She may've been "innocent" compared to Yang, but she took mandatory sex-ed like everyone else. That and Qrow's many inappropriate sexual escapades (aka sexcapades) made her well aware of certain… subtext.
"My face isn't in her bloomers. Her bloomers are in my face," Jack countered, unable to tilt his head forward as Nora pulled his head back. "Ren, please get her off," he said as he pushed up against Nora's thighs.
"Why? You're doing such a good job of it all by yourself," Ren chuckled good-naturedly.
"Now, Ren!" Jack snapped. "It's starting to get very moi-"
"Don't you even dare finish that sentence!" Weiss shrieked as Nora continued to squirm atop Jack's visage, her face as red as Pyrrha's hair. And face. "Have you no shame, woman!?" Weiss shrieked as she snapped back to Nora.
Test 4: Softball Throw
After the Vertical Jumping came the Softball Throw, and the judges who helped get Nora off of Jack's face couldn't have come a moment sooner.
For this part of the physical exam, everyone had been escorted to Beacon Cliff, though not the same clearing they'd been catapulted from. It was an ordinary-enough spot, completely flat with trimmed grass and a picket fence to stop anyone from falling over the edge. Of course, that wasn't to say that students still didn't make excuses to jump the fence, like dangling their legs over the side, or tossing a rock down there to see how long it'd take to hit the bottom.
"Listen up. This part of the physical exam will be conducted using these spheres," one of the judges said holding up a baseball-sized orb. It was made of metal, colored white on opposite sides, with a black metallic bar encircling it. "Their size, weight, and density is identical to an ordinary softball, so for all intents and purposes they're one in the same thing. You're free to use your Aura however you please to aid in your throw as long as you do not leave your allotted circle," he said pointing to a chalk circle on the ground. "These spheres contain tracking devices which will measure the distance of your throw in meters. The starting point for your measurement will be these belts," he said holding up a belt with what was clearly another tracking device in the buckle. "Direction doesn't matter as long as you throw over the fence."
"Wouldn't tech like this be really expensive though?" Weiss asked. "Doesn't it seem a waste to be throwing it into the Emerald Forest like this?"
"Don't worry. The balls themselves are extremely durable so as to survive Aura-powered throws and the landing, and the retrieval will be carried out by students in the upper years hoping for either extra credit, or as punishment for an offense they may've committed on school grounds," the judge replied.
"Oh…" the heiress replied. "That makes sense I suppose."
"Any other questions?" the judge asked, only receiving shook heads in return. "Well alright then. All of you line up, and we'll begin the next part of the exam."
What followed was all the freshman Huntsmen and Huntresses stepping into the circle and throwing the softball-sized tracking device as far as they could. Their stances differed, the men focusing on strength while women focused on technique, but the one constant between all of them was that their hand, the ball, and some measure up their arms glowed the color of their respective Aura before they let the ball fly into the distance.
Obviously, those who were more strength-oriented managed to do better, which explained why guys like Cardin were able to actually beat people like Ruby and Weiss at this event. The only exceptions to the rule thus-far were people like Nora who were already crazy-strong, or Pyrrha who was very athletic all-around. While Ren was skilled in martial arts, he still didn't have the raw strength for a distance throw, even with Aura, so Cardin had still managed to get among the highest scores thus-far.
"Next," the judge called out as the next batch of students stepped forward.
"You can do it Jack!" Yang cheered.
"Represent!" Ruby crowed holding up a red RWBBY flag.
"Where did you even get that thing?" Weiss gawped.
"Alright… Here goes…" Jack said narrowing his eyes, body becoming alight with Aura as everything from the top of his head to the ends of his toes glowed crimson. Raising both arms above and behind his head, Jack turned his body to the right, left foot raising up off the ground before it came down with an explosive *CRASH!*, the ball sent flying with a loud *BOOM!* as he screamed- "DIE MOTHERFUCKER!"
The baseball-shaped tracking device positively screaming through the air as it left a crimson trail behind it, jaws all around dropped to the ground as the ball flew… and flew… and flew off into the distance. A few seconds later and one of the trees in the distance seemingly fell over, dozens of birds leaving their nest as a low *Thud* sounded in the distance.
As it turns out, if a tree falls in the forest and there's no-one around to hear it, it does make a sound.
" . . . Seven-hundred and fifty meters," the judge announced after a few seconds, holding up a Scroll with the numbers 750m staring back at them.
"Holy shit!" Jaune gawped.
"Hey, c'mon Jaune, we don't have all day! I wanna play whack-a-mole!" Nora shouted at him from the sidelines.
"R-Right…" Jaune nodded, imitating Jack's stance as much as he could before letting the ball fly.
"Fifty-four meters," the judge announced.
"Jaune… Did you forget to use your Aura?" Pyrrha asked worriedly.
" . . . Jack's pitch made me choke," the blond admitted.
"What's what she said," Yang chuckled.
" . . . I don't get it," Ruby replied cutely.
"It's better that way," Blake sighed while Weiss gagged at the innuendo.
"Well hey now, don't leave me out of the fun," Yang said stepping forward. Her body positively exploding with a bright yellow Aura, the girl let out a loud throw as she sent the ball flying with a- "HRAH!" -, the ball screaming through the air before she too knocked over a tree in the distance.
" . . . Seven-hundred and one meters," the judge announced.
"Hell yeah!" the blond cheered pumping a fist, Team DIRT's last member throwing after her.
" . . . Six-hundred ninety-nine meters," the judge announced.
"Hey, better luck next time," Yang said patting the guy on the back as she walked off.
'No… Luck didn't have anything to do with it,' Jack said as he shifted in his spot.
Test 5: Grip Strength
The event that came after was a test of Grip Strength. When it came to those who were wielding melee weapons like swords or maces, obviously a strong grip was important. However, because a great many Huntsman attacking armored foes didn't have a strong-enough grip to hold onto their weapon when the hit failed to breach said defenses, it was the reason that overall grip strength was being tested, this time with hand-held dynamometers. However, for the purposes of the test, students were only allowed to use their dominant hand, instead of a two-handed grip.
Once again, those who were more-geared towards strength tended to do better, and those who normally lost in spars were given a chance to shine since raw strength was their main redeeming quality when combat skill wasn't. The only real exception to this rule was Ruby Rose, whose weapon had a recoil so strong she needed a firm grip on it. Of course, since Yang had practice crushing things in one hand… Let's just say that if Junior hadn't used his Aura at the last second, it would've been torn off.
"You can do it, Jack! Just imagine you're crushing the skull of someone you reeeally hate!" Yang cheered, her statement causing everyone to sweat a little since they had seen what happened to people whom Jack hated. The fact that there were perpetually three empty seats in class after the first week was testament to that.
"HRAAAAAGH!" Jack roared with red eyes as he clenched his hand, the *CRUNCH* of metal causing everyone to shudder as crimson Aura wafted off his hand.
"Um…" the judge gulped audibly as he looked down at the scale. "Five-hundred and one kilograms," he said nervously looking up from the 501kg on the scale. Or at least what was left of it.
"How many is that in pounds?" Jaune asked nervously.
"Around eleven-hundred pounds," Ren answered, Jaune breaking out into a nervous sweat as he imagine Jack crushing his skull in his hands like a juice box. Or like The Juicer from that one sitcom with the psychic girl who tried to change the future but the future happened anyway.
"WHAT?!" a familiar voice squealed, prompting everyone to see Weiss scaring the living daylights out of one of the judges as she glared angrily at his clipboard. "How could I be dead last?" she shrieked in outrage, her own grip strength measured at only 56 kg.
"One too many manicures?" Yang asked with a cheeky grin, a statement which caused the heiress to whirl around and glower at her.
" . . . I hate you."
"Aw, I hate you too~" Yang cooed playfully.
"F-F-Five-hundred forty kilograms!" one of the judges suddenly gawped, drawing everyone's attention over to the end of the line. "That's… That's gotta be a new record."
"What can I say? I've got a firm handshake," Terrence said with a friendly smile, bellying the utterly destroyed hand-grip tester in his hand. Or what was left of it.
"Seems we have a dark horse in these games," Pyrrha gulped.
"Tell me about it," Jack said shaking out his hand.
Test 6: Standing Long Jump
In comparison to all the other events that came before it, the Standing Long Jump was more ordinary and didn't have anything too over-the-top happen. Since there wasn't any sort of running start involved, just a dead jump, this one was done outside in a lane filled with sand.
Blake, due to her past of leaping across rooftops and through tree branches, had a standing long jump of just past a dozen feet with a record of twelve feet and three inches. Nora was right behind her with a count of eleven feet and eleven inches, Jack and Ren both managed to tie for eleven feet solid, while Pyrrha managed to get ten and a half feet. Obviously, those who jumped a lot did better than those who did not.
Test 7: Seated Toe Touch
Another event without any over-the-top shenanigans was the Seated Toe Touch. Like the name implied, you sat on the ground, albeit with your back to the wall, as you tried to reach out as far past your toes as you could.
In this event, it was Ren who dominated, his body almost completely perpendicular to the ground, even moreso than Blake's who was a very close second. This of course surprised Jack since he assumed Blake, being a Cat Faunus, would've dominated a test of flexibility. Ruby of course required a great deal of flexibility to effectively use a giant scythe as a weapon, while Weiss who was right behind her had a background in ballerina dancing even though she became a singer.
Jack himself was only half Cat Faunus on his mother's side (technically Jaguar Faunus), but flexibility wasn't his strong-strong suit.
"Psst! Hey Nora," Jack had whispered as Ren leaned forward to do the Seated Toe Touch.
"Yeah?"
"Seems like Ren is super-flexible. Anything you wanna do with that?" he asked waggling his eyebrows.
"D-D-D-D-Do?" the ginger girl suddenly stammered. "Wha-Wha-Wha-Whatever do you m-m-me-me-me-mean?" she asked with a flushed face.
"Just enjoy the show, Nora. Enjoy the show," Jack said patting the girl on the back before walking over a couple meters. "Psst. Hey Jaune. Remember that little chat we had this morning?" he whispered with a bit of an edge.
"I've gotta go!" Jaune said hastily, running away after getting caught perving on Weiss just because she was in bloomers and showing off her flexibility.
"Bloody perverts," Jack huffed. "At least when I'm perving on someone I don't try to act all secretive about it," he grumbled as he crossed his arms. " . . . Yang. What the heck are you doing?" he said turning to the blond who was snapping pictures with her Scroll.
"Ohhhh~" she cooed in a sing-song tone. "I figured Arthur could use some… stimulation whenever he isn't making guns and gadgets for Ruby," she said showing off a pic of a bloomer-clad Ruby bent forward to touch past her toes, the girl taking third place after Blake with Weiss right behind her.
"I still swear someone on the faculty has a high schooler fetish," Jack said rubbing the bridge of his nose.
"Oh like you're innocent of taking in the sights," Yang said striking a pose.
"Yang, there's a difference between flaunting what you've got, and shoving it down someone's throat," Jack grumbled. "Also, I see the same amount of skin every day in your casual clothes. This amount of skin isn't anything new to me. Heck, when you wore that swimsuit you showed less skin."
"Sooo… you're not into roleplay?" Yang asked after a few seconds.
"Not this kind of roleplay," Jack elaborated. "The whole schoolgirl vibe would have more of an impact if I wasn't going to the same school. And also if myself and the schoolgirl in question weren't the same age."
" . . . But I'm still hot, right?" the blond asked, used to a little skin being enough to mesmerize any boy she came across.
"That's the question you want to ask?!"
To be continued…
*GIANT-SLAYER*
Originally, the Sports Day chapter was going to be ONE chapter. However, pre-completion with an excess to 19,000 words, I decided to split it in half, separating the narrative for the Morning and Afternoon events. Plus it means I can update sooner, so there's that too.
Anyway, if you like the narrative, leave Reviews and/or ask Questions. Some will be answered pre-chapter, while others which venture into Spoiler territory will instead be answered over PM. Just something to consider.
Anyhow, you all have a nice day, and be sure to catch the new season of Red vs Blue, and be doubly-sure to catch the new season of RWBY Chibi.
