It had been a month since the semester had just started. Things were going normal as usual (well normal for Fairy Tail at least). Most of the new students had finally starting fitting into the guild, including two people about to start a fight.

"I DARE YOU TO SAY THAT AGAIN!" Gray yelled furious.

"WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO!" Natsu yelled back. Most of the guild didn't know what the fight was about, but knowing those two it was probably something stupid. As always before it got physical Erza stepped in to stop them.

"You know I'd prefer if both of you would just learn your lesson already AND STOP FIGHTING IN THE GUILD!" Erza said after throwing them against a wall.

"Yes ma'am." they both said in obvious pain.

"Now what is this stupid fight about?" Erza asked trying to figure out what the problem was even though she had some idea.

"Natsu called me a coward for not siding with him about fighting with Phantom Lord." Gray explained.

"Wait wasn't Phantom Lord the guild that got dissolved during last year?" Lucy asked.

"Yeah they used to go around destroying parts of other guilds." Erza explained.

"How come they were able to get away from it so long?" Levy asked.

"It was hard to prove it was them." Erza said. "And we couldn't exactly start a fight either back then just because we suspected it was them."

"Was Gajeel the one always doing that?" Levy finally asked.

"He admitted later it was him, but it was obvious there was more than just him doing it." Mira said. "However we did know it was him that caused the huge fight between us and Phantom Lord."

Levy's eyes grew big after hearing that. "What do you mean he started it?"

"LOOK I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU IDIOTS THINK, IT'S WRONG THAT PHANTOM LORD DAMAGED OUR GUILD AND WE SHOULDN'T BE STANDING AROUND TO LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN!" Natsu yelled.

"Natsu I know you're mad about this, but remember we can't just start a fight because we think it's Phantom Lord." Erza tried to explain.

"YOU SERIOUSLY THINK IT COULD HAVE BEEN ANYONE ELSE?!" before Erza could answer the current master stepped in.

"Natsu I feel your pain, but Erza is right. We would only cause more problems if we went off to fight now."

"Still we shouldn't let them get away with this." Natsu said looking down.

"Trust me when we finally have a good reason to I'll let you lead the charge to kick their asses." the master smiled.

"Thanks Mest. Hopefully that day comes soon though." Natsu said smiling back.

"Wait is that the same Mest that was also a cop?" Levy asked remembering that name.

"Yep that was him." Mira said smiling. "We all loved him as our master."

"Did everyone around here go to this guild?" Lucy asked. "It's like we're always hearing about how all these people went here."

"So how was he compared to Laxus?" Levy asked.

"Actually Mest helped Laxus become a better person, and a future master." Mira explained. "Back then Laxus wasn't really the best person to get along with. He used to think he was better than everyone else and even fought Natsu a lot of the time since Natsu obviously hates that."

"How did he help him change his ways then?" Lucy asked.

"After Laxus was on one of his bursts of rage he started fighting everyone to prove he was the best." Erza explained. "Eventually Mest came in and kicked his ass though. Somehow it helped him change his ways after that."

"Why is this guild always solving their problems with fighting?" Lucy thought to herself.

"So how did Laxus feel about this?" Levy asked trying to continue the story.

"Him and his friends were on a trip for the college's top students." Erza explained. "They came back after everything had already finished."

"So what ended up happening after Mest said that?" Lucy asked.

"For a few hours everything was back to normal til Jellal came in yelling that we all needed to come to the park to see what happened."

After running for awhile they had finally reached the park and saw what Jellal was yelling about. Most of the guild stood in shock not able to believe what they were seeing. They saw that Jet and Droy were tied to a tree covered in bruises with the Phantom Lord logo painted on them. A few of the guild members got up and freed them from the ropes.

"WHO THE HELL DID THIS?!" Natsu yelled after they both were put on the ground.

"It was Gajeel from Phantom Lord." Jet said trying to speak.

"He jumped us while we were walking back and beat the crap out of us." Droy added also in pain. Natsu wasn't the only one obviously mad about this, but he didn't hide it as well as the others. He instantly turned aroudn and began to walk off.

"WAIT NATSU!" Mest yelled.

"DON'T TRY TO STOP ME!" Natsu yelled back. "THIS TIME WE CAN'T LET THIS GO!

"I didn't say I was going to stop you." Mest stated. "Just wait for us so we can make them pay to."

A/N: Hey everyone sorry this took so long. This month has been crazy since I've gone to a con, started going to a university, and also starting my cosplay page.
