~Sam's P.O.V.~

Once we were all gathered again in the livingroom we resumed our negotiations. It was time to put Mercedes's plan into action, I had to say it was pretty clever but would it be enough to trick the angels?

"May we resume our arbitration?" Raphael asked when we entered.

"Yes," I started. "We believe we've come to a solution."

"Well, let's hear it." The women angel who spoke to Raphael earlier spoke up, her tight lipped mouth and challenging eyes were really getting to me.

"Yes, let's finish this. I'm tired of diplomacy, I may just have to hit up three towns for a little fun after this boring conversation." Gabriel spoke in an annoyed voice.

"And I'm tired of all of you being in here, so lets stop the useless chit-chat and work this out." Laura glared at Gabriel.

"We came to the assumption that the only reason you want Laura's child is so it won't destroy heaven. If that's the case you need to make sure it behaves the way you want it to. So if you want that, then we will let you see the child periodically but only if it stays on earth, with us." I told Raphael what we had planned, he didn't seem pleased about it either.

"What good will that do?" He asked. "The only way for us to be sure the child stays loyal to us is watching him continuously."

"We thought about that too." Jess continued my train of thought. "That's why we came up with a better plan. We'll allow you to keep an angel here, watching over the child, for the rest of it's life if you like. Think of it as an angel midwife. An extra parent figure in it's life to assure it stay loyal to you. We recommend you choose carefully, as it would be best for the child's guardian angel, if you will, to be someone you trust completely."

The angels were silent after this, they seemed to be contemplating it. After a few moments Raphael turned back to his brothers and sisters and discussed this in hushed tones. Then he turned back to us.

~Laura's P.O.V.~

"We will send Anna to look after the child. She would be very happy to see Dean again." Raphael smirked at Dean. I turned to him and gave him a quizzical look. The look I got back said that he would explain later.

"Which one is Anna?" I asked searching the room.

"Anna is not currently here, but she will be, once we give her the information."

"So, you're going to send an angel, that clearly has a thing for my boyfriend, to watch over our child. Lucky me." I whispered the last part to myself. "Am I going to be able to care for my child or is Anna going to do all of the work?"

"The child will be under the protection of Anna, while you care for it." Raphael stated. "Now if this conversation is over, I have other orders I need to tend to." With a loud swoosh of wings, all the angels, except Gabriel, were gone.

"Why are you still here?" I asked kind of rudely.

"Simmer down, sweetheart. I just wanted to introduce you to Anna." He turned and pointed to the girl now standing in the doorway. After she appeared, Gabriel vanished.

"Nice to see you again, Dean." Anna smiled.

After a few days, I've gotten used to having Anna around. Dean had told me about what happened between them back when she didn't have her grace. I still don't fully trust her alone with Dean because I feel that every chance she gets, she flirts with him.

I have also been experiencing false contractions recently. I did some research and found that they are normal to have when you are close to your due date.

As of right now, my due date is tomorrow and because of the angels, Dean, Sam, Jess, and Bobby are gone on some stupid case. I'm guessing they didn't take my pregnancy into consideration. Let's just say, I tore Cas a new one before they all left. My hormones have been getting the better of me for the past few weeks. Lucky for me, unlucky for her, I have Mercedes here just incase I go into labor.

I was hoping that would be soon because I was getting sick and tired of being pregnant. My back ached beyond belief, the only good side to having a stomach this big was that I could use it as a food tray...I'd probably miss that when I'm no longer pregnant.

"Mercedes, where is the peanut butter?" I walked through room after room looking for Mercedes/Shilo. I remembered she liked peanut butter from our days in high school together. Just when I thought I'd searched the entire house I realized the only place I hadn't looked was the living room. I walked down the stairs into the living room. "Mercedes?" Low and behold there she was in dog form smacking her jaws together, trying to chomp the peanut butter. "What are you doing?" Apparently she hadn't noticed I was there because her ears went up immediately and she looked at me with wide blue eyes, like she was in trouble. Shilo stopped licking her lips and turned into her human form again.

"There's something satisfying about eating peanut butter as a dog." She said.

"Did you leave any for me?" I asked while peering around her to look at the jar on the ground.

Mercedes gave a shy look behind her, picked up the jar and said; "If you don't mind dog saliva." She blushed.

I sighed, "Nevermind...When are the others getting back?"

Mercedes discarded the peanut butter in the trash and had begun to busy herself with the dirty dishes, she was caught off guard by my sudden question and paused before answering. "I don't know. When am I going to get out of this house? Not that I'm not grateful for your hospitality, but I feel as cooped up as a house cat."

"Well then, why don't we go for a walk?" I suggested, and Mercedes accepted.

We were just walking down the road, barely out of Bobby's driveway, Mercedes right next to me. We were reminiscing about our days in high school.

"Yeah, and I remember Jess would always buy a cookie and dip it in buffalo sauce every day at lunch." Mercedes said while laughing.

"Jess had a little love affair with buffalo sauce. I swear she has the weirdest taste buds ever." We both laughed but our joy was cut short as a shadow fell over us, preventing us from going further.

The shadow belonged to a body builder of sorts, his muscles bulged farther out than I thought any human muscles could go. A leather jacket, torn off at the sleeves, stretched across his giant chest. Resting on the space between his jacket zipper was a long brown beard, oddly contrasted by his bald head. I expected the bodybuilding biker to move out of our way but he stayed in the same spot unmoving.

"Excuse us." Mercedes started but the only attention the biker guy paid her was backhanding her, which caused her to fall to the ground. The biker turned on me then and leaned in close to show me his black eyes.

"What the hell are you doing here!?" I demanded, again the biker ignored us. He grabbed my wrist and began to tug on it, trying to drag me somewhere I knew I didn't want to go. With my pregnancy so far along it was hard to fight back, all I could do was feebly trying to pull my wrist back.

Mercedes wasn't going to let him take me though, she bolted from the ground to my side and, with much force, slammed the side of her hand onto the bikers wrist. The karate chop she used on the biker probably would have broken four 2x4's at once, it caused the biker to open his hand and grasp his wrist in pain.

Mercedes now stood in front of me, her arms in front of her, ready to fight. The biker no longer ignored Mercedes and faced her squarely. "I've only come for Laura Irwin, do not get in my way." He said finally, honestly his voice made him seem even more stupid than he looked.

"Listen birdbrain, there is no way you're taking Laura anywhere. I know you only want her because her due date is so close, that only gives me more reason to kill you."

"You are going to regret those words." He said and aimed a punch at Mercedes who ducked in turn. Mercedes used her position on the ground to sweep her foot under the bikers beefy legs. The bikers feet fell from under him and he landed on the ground with a loud thud. Mercedes followed up her attack with a hard elbow to the bikers stomach. He let out an audible breath, while the biker was still regaining his breath when Mercedes came up next to me.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"I'm fine, but more importantly, where did you learn to fight like that!?"

Mercedes shrugged. "When you live on the streets you tend to pick up things about self defense. But that doesn't matter, you need to get out of here, I'll take care of jumbo here."

"Mercedes it won't make a difference the demons aren't going to stop coming."

"Irrelevant, we can't stop trying to keep you safe. I won't do it so don't ask me too!"

I had to admire Mercedes stubbornness, but this was getting us nowhere. "Then what do we do?" Mercedes didn't have time to answer as the biker picked himself off the ground and was ready for round two. Mercedes lifted her arms and braced herself as the biker threw a punch. When his fist connected with Mercedes arms there was an audible crack and Mercedes let out a cry of pain, she stumbled backward. When she lifted her head her eyes turned bright blue, without hesitation she transformed.

Shilo was now fighting...and winning. Her light body and strong legs gave her an agility that the biker couldn't match. Moment by moment he got more aggravated because he couldn't catch Shilo. The biker was bleeding in multiple places from where Shilo had sunk her claws or teeth into. I almost started to feel like we were going to be okay.

Finally the shock of the situation stopped and I began thinking rationally again. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and was about to press the talk button when a demon knocked the phone ten feet away from me. I gasped and stole a glance over at Shilo. She still had the better of the demon she was fighting but I could see a limp in her step and it was clear the biker had finally landed a hit on her. It wasn't like she'd be able to help me anyway, she was too busy fighting the first demon. Oh dear god no! This can't happen!

When I turned back to the first demon they forced a strange smelling cloth into my mouth. As my eyes closed I remembered the first time this had happened. I remembered it had been because I walked out on Dean...Now I wished he was here with me.
