We continue onward, but eventually, one of the boulders leaves too much debris behind and Epona cannot cross it.
"I can't get through this without twisting an ankle, do you think you guys can go on without me?" Epona asks.
"Link, Epona cannot get through the debris," I say.
Link dismounts Epona, looking rather upset. Epona nuzzles him gently.
"Just call me later and I'll return to you the safest and fastest way I can," Epona says.
Link and I continue on to northwest Zora's Domain. This requires swimming a bit, but we end up finding a golden dragon fly! There isn't much more to do on this side so we cross to the east end. Once we arrive at Upper Zora's Domain, we find a cute little fishing hole.
"Say, Link, do you like fishing?" I ask him.
He nods eagerly.
"Then let's go in!" I say.
Link opens the door for me and I run in. He sits down at the edge of the water and pulls a very long fishing rod out of a tiny pouch on his belt.
"Nice rod!" I comment.
Link smiles and casts his line. I wander about and find a few signs posted.
"Don't litter," I read out loud from the first sign.
Link reels in a small fish and tosses it back in.
"Do NOT toss empty bottles or cans here!" I read out loud from the second sign.
Link pulls up yet another small fish and tosses it back in.
"Who would want to litter here?" I wonder out loud.
Only moments later, Link reels in an empty bottle! The exact thing the sign said not to toss!
"Ah!" Link exclaims.
"Hmm... I think the owner of this fishing hole would be pleased if we took this bottle with us," I say.
Link puts the bottle into his belt pouch after shaking it a few times to rid it of extra water. He then returns to fishing. A young woman approached us and smiles.
"Hey you two, I see you're into fishing!" she says.
"Mostly Link, here. I'd fish, but I don't have long enough fingers," I say.
"You two can rent a canoe for twenty Rupees if you wish to go further into the fishing hole," the young woman says.
Link's eyes sparkle and he digs out some Rupees, handing them to the young woman. Then, she joins us in the canoe! Link paddles to a huge rock towards the far edge of the fishing hole and casts his line. What I didn't notice at first is that there is a heart container up on the rock. Link hooks it and reels it in.
"Tee hee, Link, you sure know how to capture a woman's heart," Midna jokes, not revealing herself.
"Oh! I have no idea what that thing could be! Well, anyhow, feel free to keep it, you caught it fair and square!" the young woman says.
Link holds his prize up in the air excitedly. After that, Link, the woman, who is named Hena, and I all sit down by a fire and enjoy some roasted fish. Delicious!
