The buzzing noise was intense, like a thousand flies all packed into one room that Eva had the unfortunate luck of wandering into. Yet all she saw was darkness, she was bathed in it, seeing absolutely nothing, but hearing so much. She could hear familiar voices, Isaac, Derek, Ethan, and Aiden, she couldn't make out what they were saying but she knew that's who she was hearing. She tried listening closely, but all of them speaking at once made being able to determine what any of them were saying more than difficult, it was nearly impossible.
Finally her vision began to clear, she could see the boys whose voices she had been hearing, all of them were silent now, but the buzzing was still apparent. Her eyes lifted to find the cause of the buzzing only to see a small bunch of flies buzzing around over the heads of the boys. Each of the boys seemed unaware of the buzzing or anyone else in the room for that matter. They all stared forward in the direction in which Eva was standing but all of them seemed to look right through her.
The flies buzzing over the boys swooped down and entered into the bodies of each guy through some orifice of their body. That's when Eva heard the buzzing beside her, close to her ear, with lightening fast reflexes she snatched the fly into her hand, squashing it.
All at once the boys focused on Eva, each of their faces twisting into a sick and demented grin.
"You shouldn't have done that." They spoke in unison, their voices matching the twisted look upon their faces. Just as they had all spoken in unison they all flew into action in unison the four of them bolting across the room looking as if they were out for blood. The blood of the girl that they were all charging at.
Eva awoke with a start, a gasp escaping from between her plump lips as she shot up in the bed that was hers at the McCall house. She was soaked in a cold sweat and gasping for breath, her mind was reeling, the events in her dream playing over and over in her mind. She knew that this was important, this was something big, life or death, because her dreams always seemed to signify that.
Throwing the covers off from herself she glanced at her bedside clock, it was already 4 in the morning, no use in attempting to go back to sleep when she would be up in a few more hours for school anyways, besides she was drenched in sweat.
Slipping out of the bed she made her way to the nearest bathroom in the McCall house, knowing that Scott and Melissa would still be asleep she made sure to be quiet, not wanting to wake either of them. She slipped into the bathroom, stripping from her clothes before getting into the shower attempting to wash away the deep rooted cold and fear that seemed to take a grip on her after having woken from that dream.

Having spent so much time standing under the hot water that plummeted down onto her in the shower had seemed to help. Eva no longer felt as if she was going to freeze to death starting from the inside. Instead she felt somewhat normal again and as she sat before her vanity, hair already dried, dressed in a pleated black skater dress and a pair of chunky heels, applying a slight bit of makeup.
Again she found herself staring into the mirror, her brilliant blue-green orbs scanning over the extent of her pretty face. It was hard for her to really remember what she had looked like before the bite. It's not like she looked much different, but between the enhancement of the bite, the change she had gone through inside as well since she had been bitten, she felt like she was a whole new person.
It was as her eyes were about to glance away from the mirror when she saw the silhouette of a face in the mirror, it was outside of the reflected window, watching her, but when she turned around it was no longer there.
Heart racing in her chest she turned upon the seat she was sitting on before standing and making her way across the room to the window, pausing for only a moment to grab her leather jacket which she slipped on before throwing open her window and leaning out of it, her long raven tresses blew gently in the wind, it was still a little dark out, the sun just beginning to rise.
She knew this wasn't just some sort of screwy vision messing with her head. Eva had spotted someone outside of her window, there was no doubt about that, but at that moment she didn't see a single soul. She was just about to return back into her window when a pair of strong large hands grip her shoulders pulling her entirely out of the window.
It only took her a moment to noticed the familiarity of those hands and the moment she catches a glimpse of the grinning and laughing face her suspicion was confirmed.
"Ass!" She whisper yelled as Aiden sets her upon her own feet allowing her to turn to face him. A dainty hand lifts so that she could whack him hard upon the chest, even though she was so small, her strength was something of paranormal wonder and Aiden grimaced a hand lifting to rub at his chest where she had hit him.
"Oh come on, I thought I'd surprise you." Aiden insisted as his hands reached out to grasp her slim waist.
"Surprise? You scared the living hell out of me, Aiden!" Eva retorted, although her hands lifted so that they could rest on his shoulders making no action to move away from him. "But I do have to admit it is nice to see you so early in the morning. I was having trouble sleeping." Eva admitted.
"I can see that, I was going to sneak in and surprise you in bed, but it seems like that will have to wait for another day." Aiden said with a smirk.
"Oh great, give me another thing to fear while I'm sleeping." She teased.
"Another thing? Something happen?" He asked, an eyebrow raising.
Eva sighed, a soft frown appearing upon her lips.
"I had a dream, like the ones I used to, you, Isaac, Ethan, and Derek were all in it. Except you weren't really yourselves." She began in explanation. "You were like possessed or something. There were flies in the room and then they just disappeared, but when they did that's when you guys all went to attack me." Eva knew she was beginning to confuse Aiden when his face scrunched up before it followed a raised eyebrow.
"I'm sure it's nothing, babe. Just relax." Aiden insisted as his hands lifted so that they could take her hands into his.
"I don't think I can just relax, Aiden." Eva insisted, slightly annoyed with the fact that he had brushed what she had said off so easily. She didn't voice her annoyance, though, holding it in, keeping it to herself as she did with most of the things that bothered her.
"Just drop it, Eva. Obviously it's not something that's happening now, obviously, I would never attack you, unless you wanted me to?" Aiden retorted, a grin on his lips as he backed the girl up against the side of the house. Typically she would fall right into him the moment he made a move on her, Eva had a very large weak spot for him. Every time he touched her she got chills, followed by wild butterflies in her stomach, and ending with a flush of heat burning right down to her center. It wasn't that his actions now didn't make her feel just that, but she wasn't in the mood to follow through with what he made her feel.
"Can we just go, Aiden?" Eva said as she slipped away from him, heading to where she knew he would have parked his motorbike. She couldn't see the look that came over his face, but she could feel it, his eyes boring into her back as he watched her walk away. She heard a heavy sigh coming from behind her, the frustration in it was obvious as she began to hear foot steps following her around the house.
This wasn't their first disagreement, the first time they found themselves at odds with each other, but it was their first as a couple and Eva had a feeling that it wasn't going to be their last.

The school day had been uneventful, at least as far as anything that could really spark Eva's interest went, she was so wrapped up in the fact that Aiden was so uncaring of her concern. She still went home with him after school, though, while Ethan spent time with Danny after school so that the two had the place to themselves.
Aiden was a creature of habit, being so used to Eva accepting his touch, giving into his advances, that when Eva brushed him off when they arrived back at the apartment he was entirely confused, and slightly annoyed.
"So are you going to tell me what your problem is, or am I going to have to guess?" He asked as Eva uncrossed her arms from over her chest, turning on her heel to look up at him.
"You probably wouldn't figure it out on your own anyways." Eva replied with a roll of her eyes. Letting her annoyance stew had been a horrible idea, the girl was basically ruled by her emotions and seeing as they easily stormed out of control, she should have just let it out when she had the chance. Eva was over reacting and she even knew that, but the emotion controlled psychic could do nothing to calm herself.
"Seriously, Eva? What the hell is your issue today? You've been a complete bitch since this morning." Aiden retorted, not taking her attitude even for a moment. It was the things like that, his unwillingness to just roll over and take her shit, that caused Eva to know that he was a great match for her.
"You want to know what my issue is?" She shot back, her voice rising only slightly.
"I think that's pretty obvious or I wouldn't have asked." Aiden replied.
"My issue is you being an inconsiderate asshole. My issue is the fact that you don't take what the hell I say seriously." Eva was yelling now as her anger got the best of her, she had been on edge all day, her anger boiling up inside of her, threatening to spill over.
The short temper that Eva had was matched easily by Aiden, she could see that he was shaking, his hands clenched tightly into fists, but that didn't faze her, for one, she was confident that he would never hurt her, and for two, she was too angry to be afraid that he might be triggered by her irrational anger.
"You're seriously screaming at me about what I said earlier? I was trying to keep you from freaking the hell out! I was trying to help you." Aiden's words escaped him from between clenched teeth, he was seething, his own anger over the top, but the two of them had a hard time controlling themselves, especially when it came to each other.
"Bullshit!" Eva yelled, but somewhere deep down, the rational, level headed part of her, she knew he was telling the truth. Without a second thought she charged at him, moving to throw a fist or two at Aiden, but he was faster, grabbing the girl by both of her wrists and pushing her against the wall. It was hard enough to shake the foundation of the apartment they were in, but not enough to do any lasting damage to the girl.
"All I've ever tried to do is help you, Eva." Aiden continued, pushing the truth into her, knowing that she would come to the realization eventually. She stayed silent, her swirling blue-green orbs locking upon his creamy brown eyes. As their eye contact continued, Aiden released her wrists, bruises were apparent on her wrists, but Eva wasn't even slightly upset that he had left a mark on her. After all she had initiated the attack, he had only been restraining her.
The two of them were beginning to come down from the anger they had felt towards each other, Eva felt herself slowly slipping from the tight grip that the anger had on her only to find herself falling into an uncontrollable lust for him.
As if in complete sync with each other and their need for each other, Eva's arms lifted to wrap around his neck as she jumped onto him, wrapping her legs around his waist. Aiden's hands found her waist where he held her as he carried her into the bedroom.
Eva and Aiden went at each other like completely savage animals, literally tearing the clothes off from each other. They left bite marks upon each other, scratches, and bruises as they tore up the bedroom. It was like a scene out of a horror movie, yet they were far from attempting to tear each other apart as they bonded in the most intimate way possible.

Eva and Aiden had been as good as new with each other since they had left the bedroom to shower and get dressed seeing as Ethan could have been back at any moment. Eva was glad that she had managed to leave a variety of clothes at the apartment belonging to the twins, seeing as the clothes she had been wearing earlier were now a thing of the past. Ripped to shreds and lying upon the bedroom floor. Bruises still lined the petite females wrists, but they didn't bother her, just as the deep scratches upon Aiden's back didn't bother him.
"What in the hell happened in there?" Ethan asked, he had finally arrived back from Danny's, passing by Aiden's room on his way to his own, he spotted the torn up bed, the blood upon the sheets, the broken door which is exactly what allowed him to look inside. "Someone's time of the month?" Ethan teased.
Eva's eyes narrowed as Ethan appeared back in the living room, both of the boys laughing at what Ethan had said.
"No, just a little disagreement." Eva retorted.
"A little? I'd hate to see a big disagreement." Ethan replied causing laughter to escape from both Eva and Aiden.
"Well, since I can see that your "Disagreement" is over now, Scott wants us. They were at Allisons, heading to the Sheriff's department. They're planning to rob an armored truck. I told them I'd fill you guys in since no one could get a hold of either of you and we all assumed you were busy." Ethan began and Eva couldn't help but roll her eyes at the fact that her entire group of friends knew that her and Aiden had been doing the deed.
"So what do they need from us in this plan?" Aiden asked.
"We're the distraction." Ethan replied.

The plan, as any plan that the pack ever comes up with, didn't go as they had intended. Eva and the twins had noticed, after waiting longer than they should have had to, that the truck was behind schedule. So instead of sitting and waiting any longer the three of them jump into action, rushing back to the police department only to find their fellow pack members fighting with a hulking werewolf.
Even Scott, the alpha of their pack, is unable to get control of the situation.
"You have the eyes of the alpha, but where is the strength?" Kincaid, the hulking beast of a werewolf asks as he pins Scotts arms to his sides.
"Up here!" Aiden announces as both himself and Ethan drop down from where they had been watching the action beginning to beat Kincaid to a pulp, easily gaining control of the fight and weakening the werewolf significantly.
It's only a moment later when Eva appears atop the back of the armored truck, the twins spot her before anyone else does and hold Kincaid still, she drops down onto the large werewolf back, her feet planted firmly on his back in a crouch. Her hands find their position on his head, one under his chin, the other on the top of his head, before she can make that one quick move to snap his neck, Scott yells.
"Stop! We don't want to kill him." Eva hesitates as her wolfed out eyes lift to lock on Scott.
"Do you really want the big man coming after us?" Aiden asks, still not releasing the man yet.
"I think he looks smart enough to remember how dangerous we are and to stay away from us." Scott says as he approaches the four of them. Eva flips off from Kincaid's back, landing perfectly on her feet as Scott reaches Kincaid. He takes the silver finger from the man that they had been looking for. Taking the scroll out of the finger he drops the finger and the twins finally let the werewolf go.
"We're here to save a life, not end one." Scott adds sending a pointed look at the three of them. Eva rolls her eyes at that before her and the three boys vanish off into the distance to their waiting bikes.

It's later that night as Eva is sitting upon her own bed at the McCall house when she heard a knocking upon her door. Looking up from the book sitting upon her bed she pushes herself off from where she had been laying upon her stomach, closing the text book.
She can already sense who it is on the other side of the door. It's Scott.
"Come in." She calls to him.
Pushing open the door, Scott slips into her room, shutting the door behind himself before he leans against it, his eyes lifting to find the petite brunette sitting upon the bed.
"I wanted to talk to you, about earlier." Scott admitted as Eva moved over on the bed, allowing him a place to sit. Scott moved to sit upon the Edge of the bed, his eyes dropped to the floor for a moment, focusing on the cream colored carpet before they finally lifted to lock upon the girl leaning against the head board.
"Would you have really done it?" He asked and she knew exactly what he was talking about. He wanted to know if she really would have snapped Kincaid's neck.
"If it meant protecting the friends, the only family I have left, then yes. I wouldn't have hesitated to break his neck." Eva replied easily, her tone confident as she spoke.
"I can understand that you want to keep us safe, but I thought you were against mindless murdering like me." Scott said.
"I was, until I lost all of my family. I was until I witnessed so many of my friends almost be killed. If it takes losing my own life or taking the life of someone else to protect the people I love, then I will not hesitate for even a second to do what I need to do." Eva paused for a moment, her eyes locking entirely on his.
"If you'd have lost as much as I have, Scott, you would understand." Eva was far from playing the victim card, she was telling him what he wanted to know.
"Just do me a favor. Think before you act, Eva." Scott pleaded, but Eva knew, after the feeling she had gotten with Kincaid's life in her hands, literally, that doing such a thing, controlling that beast within her, was going to be harder than he seemed to think.
