Hey guys its me and just like I promised I have the new chapter with me. It took me a while to do it cause I had no clue how to start it but I just typed and bam the chapter began typing itself. It came out pretty good not to much action but that will be next chapter. I hope you like it like I do so get reading, and I see you at the bottom of the page. :D

Chapter 37: Edward is found?

General Pov

It had been little more than a week since Ed had been taken. The police had no leads as to where the kidnappers had taken Ed. Roy and Riza hadn't even told them who the one who took him was. Knowing that Marcus was a homunculus and most likely dangerous and they couldn't endanger the police force. It was up to them to find their son and at the moment they had no clue where to look.

Roy was sleeping on the uncomfortable living room couch. He finally had fallen sleep, his mind and body tired from the week's events. Riza was in the kitchen with Maes going over Hohenheim's notes to find any clue as to where Ed is. Al is staying with Maes's wife Gracia, his parents didn't want him to get too worried and thought it better he stay away from home for now.

Maes scanned over a pile of papers in front of him. He would scan it then put it aside then move to another one. He and Riza had gone over these papers many times and each time they were no closer to finding the answers they needed. Maes sighed and rubbed his head in frustration before putting his head in his hands. "Riza, I don't think we're going to find anything in here. We would have found something already."

Riza looked up and sighed, "I know but we have no clue as to where they would have taken Ed. These notes are the only thing we have." The two of them sat in silence for a minute, the only noises heard was of the clock ticking on the wall and Roy's silent snoring. "Maes, what if we don't find him in time, what if it's already too late?"

Maes looked at Riza and frowned, "Don't think like that, you need to believe that everything will be alright. Or have you already given up on Ed?"

Riza looked down at her lap in shame, "No, I haven't I just- I can't take this not knowing, not knowing if he's ok."

Maes sighed once again and smiled at Riza reassuringly. He reached over to her and grabbed her shoulder. "Just have faith, Ed's a smart kid he won't give up till we find him." Riza nodded her head and wiped away the few tears that fell from her face. Maes looked at the clock on the wall, it was around lunch time. "I'm going to make us something to eat, why don't you take a break to."

Maes got up and began preparing some lunch while Riza went into the living room where Roy slept. She kneeled down next to him and brushed some hair from his face. Roy had been awake looking over the noted for four days before he finally burnt out. He was still injured and it had taken both Riza and Maes to get him to rest. Ed's kidnapping had taken a toll on him and it saddened Riza to see him so broken and lost. She just hoped that they would find Ed soon.

Alphonse reluctantly walked to school, that morning. He didn't want to but his education was important and he was no use to the grownups trying to find Ed. It was somewhat relaxing to stay at Mr.'s Hughes home. Playing with Elicia, it helped him keep his mind off what happened. He missed Ed badly, after all he was his older brother, if not be blood. He couldn't believe that Ed was really missing, and that someone would want to take Ed in the first place.

He walked up the stairs leading to his school and with a sigh he walked to his first class. Alphonse didn't pay too much attention to what the teacher was talking about. He couldn't, his mind was too full of thoughts about Ed. Before he knew it, it was lunch time and just like for the last couple days he ate in silence and ate little of his food. His friends sat with him but kept the conversation quiet and with little interaction with Al. They knew about what happened and had tried to talk to Al at first but Al was too sad to talk. Winry sat with Al, she too was quiet, sad that her friend was hurting.

Lunch went by quickly and quietly as it usually does, as everyone left to go back to class. Al went to his locker to get his books, followed by Winry and Wrath. They made it to the locker and Al leaned back against it. Winry frowned and stood in front of him. "Al are you sure you're ok to be in school?"

Al nodded, "My parents think it would be best for me to go about my day as normal as possible. I'm worried about them though and Ed."

Winry looked at Al with a sad smile, "It's going to be ok, your parents will find Ed. They love Ed a lot, they won't give up."

Al smiled sadly back and nodded. Winry pulled Al into a hug, Al blushed at the contact. They stayed that way until Wrath began calling their names. Al and Winry let go of each other and turned to Wrath. "It's Conner, he's coming this way."

Winry and Al both looked down the hall to see the familiar palm tree hair walking toward them. "I thought he was suspended?" Winry asked.

"I guess they let him come back." Wrath answered.

The three of them stood there as Conner finally came up to them and smirked. "Shouldn't you three be in class, huh children?" He teased.

Al frowned at him, while Wrath smirked back at the bully. "Shouldn't you be in class to, or is it that you're so dumb you can't remember where your class is?" Wrath retorted back.

Conner laughed, "Where do you learn that comeback, your mother?"

Wrath gritted his teeth, "How about I plant my metal limbs in your face?" He made a move toward Conner.

Al quickly grabbed Wrath's arm and shook his head. "He's not worth getting in trouble over."

Wrath looked at AL and nodded, he then glared back at Conner.

Conner chuckled, "You guys are such cowards, and weaklings. As if you could take me on, but what can you do, after all your just little babies."

Wrath almost snarled, "What do you want, I know you didn't came here to just pick on us."

Conner smirked, "You're correct. I came to see if it was true. Poor Alphonse is sad because his wittle brother is missing."

Al glared at Conner as Winry held Al's arm afraid he would do something.

Conner laughed, "I was correct, poor Alphonse, your parents were so weak they couldn't even protect a tiny little kid. Your Dad is a pathetic loser who can't even protect his family. A stupid military dog and his bitch wife."

"DON'T YOU DARE SAY ANYHTING ABOUT MY MOM AND DAD!" Alphonse screamed, he made a move forward and with a good pull away from Winry, punched Conner in the face making his nose bleed.

Conner staggered backward holding his face and scowled at Al. "YOU LITTLE-"

"CONNER."

The four of them stopped and turned to look down the hallway. It was the principle and she didn't look happy. She approached the four and frowned. "Conner I thought I suspended you last week, you're not allowed back till the end of the month."

"Conner frowned, "Sorry, I was just grabbing something from my locker."

The principle narrowed her eyes, "What happened to your nose?"

Conner wiped the blood from his nose, "I slipped and fell hitting me nose."

The principle looked skeptical at first but seemed to accept it. "Fine get what you need and get off the school grounds, and you three" She looked at Al, Winry, and Wrath. "Get back to class please." She then walked off the way she came.

Conner glared at her retreating form and then turned to Al. "You're going to pay for this." He smirked, "I hope you find your brother fast because he won't be alive much longer." He stalked off quickly.

Al glared after him before gasping. "Wait why would he say that?"

Wrath shook his head, "He's just trying to get under your skin Al, don't worry about it."

AL shook his head, "No, he wouldn't have said that if he didn't know something. Guy's I think he knows something about Ed."

Winry frowned, "Al are you sure he does, and that you're not just letting his words get to you?"

Al gave her a determined look, "I'm sure, I'm going after him." AL then grabbed his backpack and ran in the direction that Conner ran. Winry and Wrath looked at each other and then took after Al, they weren't about to let him do this alone.

Winry and Wrath caught up with Al and then they three of them followed Conner out of the school and down the street. They made sure to not be seen as Conner walked down the road. Al watched carefully as after a couple blocks, Conner finally stopped and entered what could only be his home.

Al, with Winry and Wrath behind him, crept to the side of the house and crouched down below an open window. "Are you sure we should be doing this, I don't want to get in trouble for trespassing." Winry asked.

Al nodded and then with a slow quiet movement looked into the window. He saw the living room, with a couch and TV. Next to that was the kitchen and sitting at the kitchen table was Conner. He was talking with someone, Al could just barely make out what was being said.

"Why did you go back to the stupid school?" said a voice.

Conner frowned, "I had to make sure someone saw me so people won't be suspicious. The last thing we need is for someone to show up here before we are ready."

"Hmm, fine but don't draw attention to much, I can't allow our plan to be ruined now, and will you change back I hate looking at you like that." The voice said again.

Conner frowned, "I like this body and anyways how do you know I will change back to my original body after the transmutation anyway."

The voice snarled and Conner put his hands up in surrender. "Fine, I'll change."

Al watched and with a hand to his mouth to silence the gasp, watched as Conner changed his whole body and clothes to look like someone one else. Winry and Wrath also both saw the transmutation and with a quick retreat ran down the road.

Conner, now in the body Marcus got out of his seat and with an evil grin looked to the open window. It has begun.

Alphonse ran back to his home as fast as possible with a shocked Winry and Wrath behind him.

"Alphonse, AL, what was that, what just happened?" Winry yelled as they ran.

Al continued to run not looking back to Winry. "It was the homunculus, I heard my Mom and Dad talk about it before I was sent to Mr.'s Hughes. I heard that is was a homunculus named Marcus that took Ed."

Winry stared at Al in shock, Wrath also ran in shock at Al. "So Conner, or the guy was Marcus, the homunculus?" Wrath questioned.

Al nodded and with his last energy sprinted to his home and charged through the door. Winry and Wrath behind him.

Riza looked up quick as the front door opened with a slam. Al stood there with Winry and Wrath as the panted. "Alphonse, honey what are you doing here, you should be in school?"

Roy and Maes appeared behind Riza with confusion written on their face.

Al panted and with a frown and tears in his eyes looked at his parents and let it out. "I know where the homunculus is" He paused, "I FOUND ED!"

See here I am. :D OK what do you guys think was it good? Do you hate me cause I left another cliffhanger. HEHE. Don't worry though you will only have to wit till next Monday to find out what happens next. Yup I'm gong to update then no matter how busy or tired I am. I have another project I want to get to but I can't till I'm done with this one.

I want to say you guys are awesome with the reviews you left me. Thanks for the support and understanding. I no longer have the free time I would like but that's what happens when you get older.
