We can hit five hundred reviews! Special rewards to the fifth hundredth reviewer!
IMPORTANT NOTICE- I changed one of the Order primordials from a girl to a boy, the one with the golden hair and yellow eyes, Imen (I-men).
Trivia Winner: DatGuest (yes, I do accept guests as winners)
DatGuest- C(::)ngratulations! Y(::)u have w(::)n c(::)(::)kies and are the FIRST ever guest t(::) d(::) s(::)!
Guest- I guess I can google it. Why?
Reaper of Tarnished Souls- You got it right for once!
RiptideCrew- Hopefully this chapter fills your needs for a fight.
rider-84- If the gods made any sense, Hestia's cabin would be fourteen since Hades was thirteen. But since Zeus is a jerk and did not give her a cabin, Iris is cabin fourteen.
primpriorpercy- Correct. Practically the whole point of Brandon existing is to be a jerk, (it's the only thing he is good at besides messing stuff up).
Kcool456- I haven't decided yet whether Percy or Triton will kick Brandon's butt.
I am that writer- Brandon is a spoiled brat. He is only good at being a jerk or messing things up.
Guest- Thanks for your opinion.
Joseph- Wow, that it really cool that you check all of them. If is possible for to create an account, you should definitely do so. You can get emails about when your favorite stories are updated. I am working on re writing the last children of chaos, so look at chapter one first.
Guest- Yup.
theguynamedNico- Brandon is pathetic.
PercyJackson Adorer- You'll get more details on Brandon this chapter.
XxBanewolvesLiveAgainxX- Correct, also thank you.
Grace. Heroes 123- you are correct and thank you.
Guest- All the order primordials names are, Fotia, Pethaino, Vivian, Nero, Imen, Celestia, Chono. Vivian and Celestia were submitted to me. I translated all the things that their domains are to a name. Example- Nero= water. I don't believe Fotia, Nero, or Chono are common, modern names.
Guest (Cora)- You forgot to sign in again.
Guest- I don't know if I'll have time to reunite Tyson with Mrs. O'Leary. If Tyson and Mrs. O'Leary have been on earth, they would have seen each other and not needed to be reunited. I am not going to reunite all the characters you requested. Percy has left Grover behind. He has different friends now.
Kilo1999- He will get his powers back.
Guest- I will not just do anything that reviewers ask.
Kilo1999- He wouldn't beat the snot out (more like pee).
Deoxys- Well, the rest of the story isn't Percabeth.

Previously on Storm Rising,
"What do you need Brandon?" I try to keep the anger out of my voice.
"I have a question and I'm sure all of your 'students' would love to hear it," Brandon swaggers to the middle of the arena. He asks a simple question but it has so many loaded answers.
"Why did you come back loser?"
I clench my fists and count slowly so I don't blow something up. Brandon laughs when he sees this. "Look the little hero of Olympus who ran away has anger problems."
A few kids who looked like Zeus, Apollo, and Ares' kids laughed at this. Taking a menacing step towards Brandon, I get close to his face. Triton steps up behind me, prepared to protect my back if any campers cowardly charge me.
"I came back because there is going to be a war! And without the Great Army's help, you will lose and the world will be destroyed! I didn't come back for that Annie-bitch, I didn't come back for that jerk Poseidon, and I certainly didn't come back to see you! I came back because there are some people in this camp, like Clarisse, Leo, Jason, and Katie, who are still pure hearted and loyal. I came back to save them not you! So the moment the war is over, don't expect me to play nice!" I yell into his face, releasing my anger. I can feel the room darkening and the air getting colder. The wind whips loose things around. My powers over storms grew a lot in the last years.
Brandon's eyes go wide. I now notice swirls of white and light grey in his muddy green eyes, but I dismiss the thought as water starts to run out of Brandon's jeans, pooling on the dust floor. The front of his jeans is a darker blue color. The younger kids burst out laughing as they realize he has peed his pants!
"Mark my words Jackson," Brandon says, his face turning red. "I'll get you for this!" He turns and runs out of the arena.
Turning back towards the class, almost everyone is on their knees laughing. Triton is clutching his stomach as he laughs. I can't help laughing either. After everyone has stopped laughing and calmed down, we begin the stations. Triton is helping the kids at the duel wielding/ sword and shield station, while Nico is instructing the fighting techniques. Triton is showing one boy how to use a spear and sword at the same time. Nico is showing an older girl how to slice at the right time so the monster will dissolve quicker. Clarisse is watching over the dueling station, where she has created a dueling tournament. You pick a number out of the hat and fight the person with the corresponding number. Who ever wins will go onto the next round, consisting of the four people who won their duels.
I walk around the arena, checking that everything is going smoothly, before heading to my own station, automaton challenge. Eight kids are gathered by the station. I grab Jackson Ilun, the son of Morpheus to help me set up the automatons in a line, putting them on stand by.
"All right, listen up. At this station you will be fighting automatons. The first challenge is to see how many of these machines you can disable in thirty seconds. You will wait in a line OUTSIDE the red circle until it is your turn. Then you will step inside the circle and fight your first automaton. When you disable it, it will reappear over by me. The next machine will charge you immediately. When the timer buzzes, the automaton will stop and we'll see how you did. Understand?"
They nod and we start. Malcolm, son of Athena, steps into the circle. He looks about twenty five now, his blond hair short cropped. "Ready Malcolm?" I ask.
The grey eyed boy nods excitedly. I start the timer and the first automaton leaps and him. Malcolm side steps and dodges the automaton. He finds an opening and stabs his sword in between the plates of bronze. The automaton reappears behind a line of the machines and begins to fix itself.
Soon Malcolm has defeated four more. He slices the last one's head off just as the timer beeps. He steps out of the circle, breathing hard. "Good job," I tell him. He nods and gets into the back of the line.
Now the other kids seem excited to try the challenge. For a while Malcolm's score of six remains untouched, until the groups rotate. Reagan, a son of Ares, soon defeats Malcolm's best and raises the bar to eight automatons.
I'm surprised when the hour is over. We leave the stations set up because no one will be using the arena while I'm at pegasi riding. Triton is heading back to the cabin to help Reyna with war preparations, while Clarisse is heading to hand to hand combat. Nico was planning to meet Ivory at the climbing wall.
Heading towards the pegasi stables, I pass by the strawberry fields. Katie Gardner is walking through the middle of a patch of the leafy green plants. Where ever her muddy sneakers touch, the plants bloom and grow quicker. Ripe berries grow and dead plants come back to life. Travis Stoll sits on a rock at the edge of the fields, watching her in amazement. Katie makes a rounded mound of dirt have little green plants growing out of it in seconds. As she makes more plants grow, she turns in a slow circle, raising her arms. She spots me walking by.
"Percy!" She calls, her arms falling to her side.
"Hey Percy," Travis says.
"Hi Travis, Katie," I reply, stopping by Travis' rock.
An awkward silence fills the gap between us. "So how have you guys been?" I ask as a bad attempt at a conversation.
Katie walks over to us. Her eyes are filling with tears. "It's been terrible! Brandon has practically outlawed all of us older campers."
My heart breaks as I realized what my friends have been going through. "Brandon's a tyrant. He over took the whole camp in a matter of days. The weird thing, is when he first arrived, he was weak and could barely lift a newspaper," Travis pauses. "He doesn't train, just lays around the whole day, bossing us around, letting his servants do all the work. But now he is actually decent with a sword and his powers, even though he never trains. And believe me, we have played enough pranks to know."
"I'm so sorry I left. If I would have stayed, I could have fought him."
"Against him and over half the Olympians?" Travis said. "I don't think so."
"I promise you if we win this war, you can both come live in the Void. Katie, surrounding the city are these lush fields filled with flowers. And the castle has the most beautiful gardens and orchards."
Katie smiles at me. "I would loved to Percy, but what of all the other campers?"
"We'll think of something. I have to go to Pegasus riding now."
"Really? Us too," Katie says. "Let's go!"
We head to the area in front of the stables has become the pegasi arena. There already a crowd of people and several unicorns and pegasi in the arena. Silena is putting a saddle on a bay colored Pegasus. Normally we don't use saddles when riding, but for the younger campers, saddles are good so that they don't fall off.
The saddle is light, with stirrups for the children's feet, and a grip for them to hold onto. Bianca is trying to hold the Pegasus still with, but the pegasi is balking, moving her head and taking little steps back.
Smells like death! Sunshine's voice echoes in my head.
"Sunshine," I say, walking up and putting my hand on her flank, instantly calming her. "It's okay.
But she smells like death, Sunshine complained.
"Alyssa!" Silena called. "Can you come help us.
A girl with long black hair walked over. Her hair had vibrant blue streaks in it and her eyes were swirling vortexes of color. When I saw her shirt, I realized who her parent was. Her shirt with the words, Be a Rainbow, was a dead give a way that her mom was iris.
With Alyssa's help, (we learned she was mute from a monster attack when she was little), we managed to get the saddle onto Sunshine. Silena lead Sunshine off while Alyssa leads us over to Butch, another son of Iris. She points at us and does a few gestures. He nods.
"Hey Bianca, we have a horse you might like to try riding. Come this way," Butch lead us through the crowd of people to a side pen that was almost completely consumed in shadows. Butch put his fingers in his mouth and whistled.
For a moment, nothing happened. Then from the shadows, two horses emerged. Both were as dark as midnight. The one had a pair of dark grey wings and dark grey hair. This one was taller than the other and appeared to be male. The other was a female by the looks of it. She had dark blue wings and a black mane and tail. The two horses were communicating, but I couldn't tell what they were saying.
Almost as if she was in a trance, Bianca jumped over the fence and walked slowly towards the horses. "Woah, Bianca. You might not want to do that."
"Why not?" I asked.
Butch watched Bianca cautiously. "These horses were found last week by Alyssa and Lassy, the daughter of Poseidon. Even those two couldn't get close to them, and they are really good with horses. Lassy couldn't understand them and no one can ride them. They are-"
"Shadow pegasi," Bianca replied as her hand gently touched the nose of the female. The female nuzzed Bianca's hand. "Children of Demeter and Hades, Arion's cousins and half siblings. They are the second fastest horses alive."
"How did you know that?" Butch asked.
"Because they are telling me right now," Bianca says. Bianca has befriended both horses and given them a few sugar cubes directly from her hand. She strokes the female's neck. "Can I name them?"
"Name them?" Butch asked shocked. "Ummm, I guess so."
"This is Ombra," Bianca says, stroking the male's flank. "And this is Fantasma."
"What does that mean?" I looked at my girlfriend as she continued to pet the horses.
"Shadow and Ghost in Italian," She replied.
Then all of the sudden, Bianca placed her hand on the back of Fantasma and vaulted up. Her legs straddled the horse's black back. Fantasma shifted a little, but she didn't buck Bianca off.
"Bianca, what are you doing?" Butch asked.
"Seeing if she will let me ride her," Bianca called back. She spurred Fantasma forward. The horse spread her wings before taking a bounding leap forward. Fantasma soared upwards over the fence, Bianca on her back.
I whistled my special whistle for Blackjack who came swooping down towards me. His hooves didn't even touch the ground as I jumped onto his back. He soared upwards after Fantasma.
Shadow pegasi were really some of the fastest creatures alive. Even Blackjack who was fast in his days, couldn't catch up until Bianca had Fantasma slow down. The two pegasi soared side by side over camp. The air was colder up here, but the breeze felt good. As a son of Amphitrite, the goddess of the ocean deep and cold water, I didn't get cold often. Bianca being a child of Hades didn't get cold either. So it was very pleasant flying over the camp. We were very high up, just below the clouds.
"Look at the little tiny people at the archery range!" Bianca said as we flew over. I looked down at the ant sized people shooting bows and arrows.
"It's Zoe!" I called as I saw a girl slap a boy.
Bianca laughed. It was calmingly peaceful flying together. The two pegasi swooped down over the ocean. Blackjack, since his ancestors came from the waves, was more comfortable flying lower over the water, letting his hooves flick up spray. Fantasma stayed a little higher up, but lower enough so that Bianca and I could still talk.
After flying over the camp several times, we turned our horses back towards the stables. We landed to find everyone was practicing flying the horses and falling of the eagles that the romans had given the camp. Since there were only five minutes left, I took Blackjack back to his stall while Bianca put Fantasma into the pen with Ombra. Once finished, we parted ways to head to our separate lessons.
Time Skip (one hour)
The conch horn sounded, signaling it was time for lunch. The campers stampeded out of the arena while Jason, Austin, and Ricky helped me clean up the arena before we followed them to the mess hall.
I had just sat down at what we called 'the great army tables' since no one else dared to sit there, when something slammed into me. "Brother!" A voice called loudly. I couldn't see anything because of the person hugging me tightly, but I knew who it was.
"Tyson," I said. "Nice to see you!"
"I thought you were dead," Tyson said. "But Ella told me you were okay. She said you had come back."
Tyson steps back so I can see Ella perched on the sofa behind us. "Hi Ella."
"Percy, Percy Jackson, hero of Olympus. Heroes of old shall answer the call. Sea god's pride may destroy them all. Page burned. Fire. Blades will set final destruction alight. Love of old shall decide in the end. Fire, Ella doesn't like fire," Ella said as she looked around frantically.
Heroes of old? Sea god's pride? Not another prophecy, I thought.
"Percy, come see this!" Tyson said excitedly. He motioned to something behind him and three red blurs zipped forward. Once they stopped moving, I could finally see what they were. The little creatures had red wings and red hair, with one big brown eyes. They were about two feet tall each.
"Our children," Tyson said proudly. "Zara, Daro, and Lara," He pointed to a girl, then a boy, then another girl.
I smiled at them. They were so cute! Ugh, I just sounded like an Aphrodite girl. The half Cyclopes, half harpies flew over to their mother and sat by her. I spent all of lunch catching up with Tyson. He told me about how Brandon had kicked him out of the Atlantean forges, but Leo had hired him to work at he and Calypso's shop. Tyson, Ella, and their children lived above the shop. I introduced him to Bianca.
When lunch was over, I headed with Sparrow and Beckendorf to the arena. Jake Mason arrives and is delighted to be reunited with his brother. Soon, the campers arrive and we begin rotating through the stations. This time I am helping with the duel wielding while Sparrow helps with slicing techniques. Jake Mason watches over the dueling while his brother runs the automaton challenge.
About half way through the lesson, a huge shadow passes over the arena. I glance up to see a dragon flying over head, it's golden scales gleaming in the sunlight. It flies high over the arena, heading towards the center of camp.
"Lesson dismissed!" I call, before running out of the arena.
As I'm running after the dragon, Bianca, Hazel, and Frank all run up to me.
"What's going on?" Hazel's golden eyes are wide.
"I was in the forest when a huge shadow passed over, heading for the center of the camp," Bianca replies.
"I don't know," I turn in a slow circle.
Suddenly, the sky is filled with a golden light. The light is so bright, I have to look away. Something large hit the ground with a thud! When the dust clears, a large dragon is standing there.
Instantly the campers back up. The dragon, no not a drakon, is gold colored with forest green horns that look pointier than spears. His, I assumed it was a he, green claws were almost as big as a person. His wingspan was ginormous, with a pale gold wing membrane.
Frank and Hazel pushed their way through the crowd of whispering people. Confused, Bianca and I followed him. Frank and Hazel bowed near the dragon and waited for it to speak.
Instead, the dragon tipped it's head back and gave a ear splitting roar. All around is, dragons of all colors appeared in the sky. They hovered above the gold dragon, who I assumed was their leader. The gold dragon eyed the two bowing people.
"No need to bow," He said in a rough voice.
"Who are you?" Hazel asked quietly.
"I am Beskytter the gold, leader of the dragons of Olympus!" He roared. All the dragons in the sky around him roared back in response. "We have returned because the true king has returned!"
"The true king?" Frank questioned.
"Yes," Beskytter replied. "You should know, child of war. We are here to offer our help in the war versus the white might."
One female dragon, a dark blue one with light blue horns landed next to Beskytter. "I am Vandalas. Order is rising. Our oath to Olympus was to be fulfilled when the true king returned. He has returned so here we are. We are all connected to two of you, yet we do not know who yet."
The dragons begin to land. Most of the campers run away back to their activities, but a few like, Leo and Calypso, Travis and Katie stay. I watch as a purple dragon with black horns approaches Ivory and Nico. These dragons are huge, but the champions of the primordials move easily among them.
Vandalas walks towards Bianca and I. "My people will need a place to stay," She tells us.
"Your people?" I ask.
She nods her large blue head. "Yes, though Beskytter and I are not the king and queen, we were designated to lead the dragons until the true king and his queen returned. We will need to find shelter and food."
I looked around. Long Island was not big enough to hold so many dragons. Looking at Bianca, I could tell she was thinking the same thing as I was.
"We came from a place called the Void. There is a city and a castle where the primordials live. They will accept you and there also is a lot of space in the meadows, forest, and mountains where you can stay," I suggest.
Vandalas looks thoughtful. "But what if the white might were to attack while we are gone? You will need our help to stand a chance."
"What if a few of the dragons were to stay here?" Bianca puts in. "I'm sure the camp can house ten or so of you. The rest can come through a portal in case we are attacked."
The blue dragon stands back up to her full height. She lifts a large light blue talon to tap a nearby Beskytter. She appears to be telling him the plan. He nods and roars to get the dragons attention. I tune out as he tells the dragons about the plans. Less than ten of the dragons move to by Beskytter and Vandalas to stay on earth. The primordials must have been listening to us because a huge portal, big enough for the dragons opens up. The dragons disappear through the swirling mist.
The rest of the afternoon is rather uneventful. The last lessons of the day finished as we were meeting the dragons, so it is free time now. Bianca, Hazel, Frank, Nico, Ivory, and I spend the rest of our free time trying to find a place for the dragons to stay. Well, Nico didn't really help. While everyone else had a job, he just stood there and did nothing because there wasn't anything for him to do. After a while, he got bored and shadow traveled away saying, "I'm going to visit dad, be back later!"
Finally we decided that making a peninsula for the dragons would be best. Frank had scouted all over the sound and found the best place for the peninsula. Working with Hazel and Bianca, we cooperated together, harnessing our powers to make land come from beneath the waves. Hazel and Ivory put a very thick layer of mist over top so the mortals, even the clear sighted ones could not see through. Frank went and got Ariana, who used her powers from Thesis to put vegetation on the land. I let the water run over the hills as streams. Lastly Hazel made caves for the dragons to live in, a few extra just in case.
Soon, we had finished dinner and the campers were getting pumped for Siege, more commonly known as War Games. Cyclopes had been building fortifications on the Olympic Field all day in preparation of tonight.
Dinner was regular. The primordial group, plus a few of the nice campers, sat at our out of the way tables. We joked and laughed like normal. Just as we had finished eating, Chiron stood up and pounded his hoof against the pavement.
"Attention heroes! I know you are all very excited for tonight's Siege, but I'm afraid it's going to have to be put on hold for a while," Several campers emit loud groans. "We must prepare for war. Our oracle, Rachel Elizabeth Dare, has arrived and needs to share something with you."
Rachel walks to the front. Now in her late twenties, Rachel has grown a lot. Though she still wears her paint splattered jeans, she no longer wears the ratty t-shirts. Instead, she now wears sweatshirts and shirts from various art competitions and fairs. Her read hair is braided down her back. Her green eyes begin to glow with the power of the oracle as she begins,
"Heroes of old shall answer the call,
Sea god's pride may destroy them all.
In order to protect the Olympian thrones,
The true king unleashes forgotten heroes;
One of dark water, a spirit of light,
Blades will set final destruction alight,
Knife from the sky,
One may-"
Rachel is forced to break off as a knife imbeds itself deep in her throat.
How was it? Did you like the first part of the prophecy? Thanks to RiptideCrew, I'mCrazyAndProudOfIt, Deoxys, and XxBanewolvesLiveAgainxX for all their help with the prophecy?
Im putting a poll on my profile to see whether or not you want Rachel to die. Please vote.
Trivia Question: What does Rachel's window look out over?
