An Honest Confession
I don't understand it," Gwen said. "Why have only the knights been enchanted? Why not us as well?
She was close to working it out now. Merlin was the only male here that hadn't fallen under Lamia's spell and, despite all his excuses and distractions, Gwen was becoming suspicious.
"There's something about you, Merlin. It's the way she looks at you as if you were the enemy."
"You can't tell him, Gwen. You can't tell anyone."
"What?"
"I once told you I was in disguise and, in a way, it was true." Merlin took a deep breath. "I have magic."
