Hello, my lovely readers. I know a lot of you have been very patient with me while I worked on this story. It is now complete. I know HH's is no longer on the air and some have lost interest in the stories posted on the site. What I wanted to say is…please don't give up on this story. Like other author's have stated (whether in their updates or Author's Notes), the reviews are very low. I'm hoping you all will come back to this story and let me know what you think. I will only know how I'm doing if you tell me in your reviews. Do you want me to continue posting this story until it's complete? If the answer is yes, I'm planning on posting one chapter every weekend. The chapters are not very long, but I feel I completed the story and I hope I did it justice. Like I stated before, I have 2 other HH stories in the works. It's up to you guys/gals if you want them posted too. I won't post them if there's no interest or no feedback. One story I am continuing from a writer and will give her credit but I made the story my own in the end. Some chapters are longer/shorter than others. You will notice that the chapters are off for this story. I am not deleting the chapter (A/N) as I don't know how to keep your reviews if I get rid of the A/N. I may know about computers, but not totally a tech expert. Lol. So, it may say Chapter 37 in the header where you scroll down to select a chapter, but please know the correct chapter will be listed below each time I update. I have completed a brief recap for your benefit regarding the whole story. If you have any questions, please let me know in a review and I'll gladly answer them. RECAP:

Loren/her mom Nora are very close. Eddie/Loren met on the hill and an instant connection formed. Eddie's girlfriend, Chloe, only cares about the spotlight. As Eddie/Loren grew closer, Eddie/Chloe grew apart. Max/Nora met and sparks flew but she wouldn't do anything because of her marriage to Trent. What no one knew is Loren had a secret. Trent was secretly hurting her. She wanted to tell others, but he warned her if she did, Nora/Mel would pay the price. Eddie finally found out Loren's secret and vowed revenge against Trent. With Loren's permission, Eddie told Max who couldn't believe someone could do something like that. Eddie/Chloe officially broke up w/ Eddie/Loren getting together and confessing their love for each other. On the night Max brought everyone to the MK to see the place, Trent raped Loren and warned her to keep quiet. Mel/Adam have feelings for each other and finally admitted them to each other. Chapter starts with Loren feeling Nora won't believe her on what Trent did and is finally going to tell Nora/Mel what Trent's been doing to her.

Title: Hollywood Heights: The Other Side

Chapter 36

(Loren sighs deeply and closes her eyes before she tells her mother and Mel her secret. She knew it was now or never)

Loren: "It started when I was five years old."

Nora: (surprised) "Thirteen years ago?"

Loren: (nods & whispers) "Yes."

Nora: "Who does it involve?"

Loren: "Trent."

Nora: (leans back a bit) "Your father? I-I don't understand."

Max: (nods) "Let's let Loren tell us what happened so it's out in the open."

(Nora looks around before facing her daughter again)

Nora: (slight smile) "Go ahead honey. I'm listening."

(Loren tried to contain her sadness, but is unable to)

Loren: "I'm sorry, mom. I-I really am. I wanted to tell you so many times. But, he-he said if I did, he'd….hurt you or Mel. I would never forgive myself if Trent hurt you or Mel because of me."

Mel: (wide eyed) "Holy shit, Lo, what'd he do to you?"

(Loren moves strands of hair behind her ears and tries not to let the tears flow)

Nora: (worriedly) "Loren, honey, did-did your father hurt you in any way?"

Loren: (nods & cries softly) "Yes."

(Nora rests her hands on Loren's lap as a way to comfort her)

Nora: "Please tell me, sweetie."

Loren: "I have wanted to for so long. But, because of his threats, I couldn't. I was afraid you wouldn't believe me. He said you wouldn't believe me."

Nora: (sadly) "Oh, honey, I know that you would never lie to me. You've never lied to me once since the day you were born. What did he do to you, sweetie?"

Loren: "At first, it was the usual father/daughter stuff. But, as time went on, he changed."

Nora: (confused) "What do you mean?"

Loren: "He'd give me baths and the way he'd put lotion on me…he moved his hands in places he shouldn't have. I-I didn't think anything of it as he said it was the usual way a father showed his love. I didn't know any better."

Nora: (nods in concern) "Go on, sweetie."

Loren: "At other times, he would show me what kind of love fathers show their daughters with a Barbie doll."

(Nora was getting pissed off. She looked around to Eddie and Max who looked on sadly and in distraught. She couldn't believe what she was hearing)

Loren: "Then one night, after you went to bed, he came into my room."

Mel: "Holy shit." (shakes her head) "Lo, please don't tell me he…"

(Loren tearfully wiped her eyes and cried for a moment. Eddie bent down in front of his girl, taking her hands in his and nods)

Eddie: "It's okay, baby. I'm right here. Take your time."

(Loren nods before sighing deeply as she speaks)

Loren: "He woke me up and was on the side of the bed. I asked him what he was doing here. He was in his boxers. He told me he wanted to show me how much a father loved his daughter. I didn't know what to think. I thought it was normal as I didn't know any different. He took his boxers off and slid in bed next to me. He said what he was about to do would hurt, but it'd feel good. I was confused by what he meant. He places something on his private area that I later found out was a condom." (cries) "After, he-he showed his 'love'. He-He raped me."

(Loren breaks down in Eddie's arms. He can't hold it in despite his best efforts and cries with his girl. Nora gasps in shock at her daughter's confession. She couldn't believe what Trent did! She gets up from the couch and paces around the living room and places her hands over her hair. Max gets up to go to her)

Max: "Nora, are you okay?"

Nora: "My-My husband…Trent…he…he did that to his own daughter?"

(She shakes her head as she was trying to come to terms with the truth. Loren breaks free a bit from Eddie to look at her mom)

Loren: (sniffles) "Mom, please tell me you believe me. I'm so sorry I didn't tell you."

(Nora walks to her daughter and sits next to her. She faces Loren in determination)

Nora: "Of course I believe you. I-I just can't believe what he did to you. You said it's been going on for 13 years?"

Loren: (nods) "Yes. He continued to rape me. Many times, I told him to stop or said no. He warned me it was either me or you and Mel. I'd never forgive myself if you two got hurt because of me."

Mel: (tearfully cries) "I'm so sorry, Lo, that you had to deal with this by yourself for so long."

(Mel and Loren embrace each other followed by the mother and daughter. Max and Eddie were sad, but relieved it was now out in the open. Loren sniffled as she knew she needed to get the rest out)

Loren: "There's more."

Mel: (shocked) "More?"

Nora: "Holy shit, honey." (nods) "Go ahead."

Loren: "The last time he-he…was when we were all at the MK. Trent felt left out when you and Max were talking. I went to the bathroom. He came in and locked the woman's side. I told him to leave. He said he was going to teach me a lesson. I huddled in the corner to try staying away. He unbuttoned his pants and put a condom on. After he raped me, he said it stays between us otherwise he's going after you or Mel. I was sick to my stomach afterwards."

(Nora stares at her daughter while speaking)

Nora: "Max?"

Max: "Yep?"

Nora: "I want you to call the police. Whoever you need to so Trent is never allowed near Loren again."

Max: (nods) "You got it."

(Max gets on the phone with the LA police department. After briefing them, the police say they're on their way. Max and Eddie check in with Connor Morgan outside, who tells them no sign of Trent. Connor is told to continue guarding the door. When he needs breaks or is needed elsewhere, a replacement will be brought on. Eddie faces Connor in determination)

Eddie: "I don't care what you have to do, Connor. If Trent tries to do anything, use any means necessary."

Connor: (nods) "Yes, sir. Even if it means using my gun?"

Eddie: "He's a piece of shit who deserves to rot in hell for what he did to Loren."
