Chapter thirty-eight: Love walk and The wish
Faith pulls her minivan into the student parking lot of Sunnydale High School and Faith parks the minivan in the first parking space by the library. A few moments later Faith is getting Destiny out of her car seat. Faith grabs the diaper bag and her backpack and then shut the side door of the minivan. Faith carrying Destiny in her arm walks into the school and then to the library. Faith is also thinking way did Giles called me this morning at four o'clock and told me to come to his office right away this morning. Could it be about not answers any of his, Buffy, Oz or Cordelia calls to my cellphone Five nights ago maybe Giles wants to fill me in on what went down or he is mad at me and he wants to yell at me for not coming and help them fight Vampires? It could also be about the fact that I miss school the last four and half days. When Faith walks through the library door Giles point toward his office, Faith walked into his office and sits down on the couch, Destiny then crawls off her mom lap and sits down beside her mom and Faith looks at her daughter who hair is almost ear length and is also curly. At the same time Giles looks at Destiny and can't believe how big she has getting in four months and three weeks.
"G why did you want to see me this early for?"
"Faith's I understand you misses school. Everyone misses school at one time or another. But when four of us call you and leave a voice mail saying that we need your help to find where Spike is keeping Xander and Willow hostages at and to help save Xander and Willow lives once we find them, there is no if and, or, but you call us back and see what is going on. Not just leave us hanging without any word from you in five days. That is very rude and unslayer like Faith and where is Kennedy at?"
"First off I did not check my voice mail and I just look at the phone numbers of the four calls I missed and see that it was just you, Buff, Cordelia and Oz. I do not think it was about anything demon relation seeing that you did not try calling the house phone and Kennedy stay home because she has a bad headache and menstrual cramps."
"Crying and screaming."
Destiny starts to pull on Faith's red long sleeve short sleeve shirt and Faith picks up her daughter and takes the pacifier out of the diaper bag and puts the pacifier into her daughter mouth.
"Destiny is really loud this morning."
"She starts teething a couple days ago G that and she has ears infects in both ears, which has made for a very unhappy camper the last few days and nights are Xander and Willow all right G?"
"Yes, Oz and Cordelia found them, But Cordelia got hurt when she saw Xander kiss Willow and went running back up the burn factory staircases and fall through the stairs."
"She did not die, did she?"
'No Cordelia is alive and should be back in school today."
"Are the rest of you all right?"
"Yes we are all ok, but Buffy, Kennedy, Angel and I had a run in with Spike old crew, but we fight them off, which made Spike change his mind about Willow casting a love spell to get Drusilla back. Then Spike decides he was just going to go take her hostage and beat up Drusilla until she takes him back."
"That sounds like the Spike I know."
Destiny reaches for Giles and he takes the little girl from Faith. A little while later outside the school, before first-hour starts for the day, Cordelia is hanging out with the new girl Anya whom she met the day before she got injury saving Xander and Willow live. At the same time Faith's holding Destiny walk up to Buffy, Willow, Oz and Xander and then Faith sits down on the grass under the tree next to Xander and then Faith hand Destiny to Xander, who gives her a worry look.
"Who the new girl that is with Cordelia?"
"I believe her name is Anya. She starts going here the day you left school doing four-hour."
"Ok Willow."
"Faith's you do know Destiny is running warm right?"
"Yes, I know that Xander she has ears infects in both ears and also start teething a couple days ago too. Oh and she takes a couple steps yesterday I take a picture."
Faith hand Xander the picture of Destiny taking her first steps, even though she is younger then the normal age to start walking. Xander looks at the pictures and smiles a hug smile at Faith and his daughter.
"Oh look Buffy, Willow and Oz my daughter first try at walking!"
"(Buffy, Oz and Willow) That is really cool Xander."
Willow, Buffy, Oz, Xander and Faith look at Destiny and notice that Destiny jean and pink onies are getting too small and at the same time on the other side of the school courtyard Anya and Cordelia are setting on the bench in front of the water fountain and are talking to each other.
"I never want to see Xander Harris again in my life, he is a geek and he hangs out with losers!"
"But don't you wish you could?"
"I wish Buffy Summers never come to Sunnydale."
Anya turns around and turns into Anyanka the vengeance demon, at the same time she says the word done and everyone, but Cordelia disappears from the school courtyard. Cordelia looks around the courtyard and can't found anyone, but sees trash everywhere. Cordelia walks toward the school doors and once inside the high school Cordelia walks toward Harmony and her other friends.
"I love the hot blue outfit you are wear Cordelia."
"Thanks Harmony."
A the same time a guy name Ted's walk over to Cordelia and he stop in front of her. Then the two of them stare at each other.
"Cordelia, do you want to go to the winter lunch with me?"
"Sure."
The bell to head to first hour rings and everyone heads to they class. Later in the day during seventh-hour and there is a few minutes before the bell rings for the end of class. The teacher is rush around and he is gathering up his books and lesson plans.
"Ok class remember there is no class on Monday for our monthly memorial service."
At the same time the bell ring and the few student left in the classroom get up and head to the door, all but Cordelia who is standing by her desk and wonder why everyone is rushing around for, seen it is night they go to the Bronze together.
"You guy want to go to the Bronze and hang out?"
"You are joke right, no one goes to the Bronze if they are alive."
"Oh I forget Harmony, I hit my head this morning and I have been forgetting things. Just to ask Willow and Xander they are geek right and no one hang out with them?"
"They are dead."
"Good. "
Harmony and her gang run out of the classroom door and then runs all the way home. Cordelia walks out to the parking lot and looks for her car, but her car is not there. Then she sees a sign that say that students are not allowed to drive to school. Cordelia starts walking home, but she has not made it home yet when the sun goes down. Just then Xander and Willow come walking up to her.
"Xander I thought you and Willow are dead?"
"I am dead and so Willow that is we are undead!"
Cordelia starts to run away from Xander and Willow, but Xander runs ahead and blocks the way. Cordelia turns to run the other way and at the same time Willow grabs Cordelia right arm.
"Help (screaming)."
"Scream all you want, no one is going to come and save you!"
"Sunnydale was better when Buffy Summers was here work along side Faith and Kennedy, I need to call Buffy and get her to Sunnydale."
"(Willow and Xander) The slayer, she won't come here."
At the same time a grey van pulls up and a guy pulls Cordelia into the van. Then the guy behind the wheel puts the van into drive and speed off toward the high school. A half hour later at the Bronze Willow and Xander are walking to the back of the club and then the two of them walk into the Master room.
"Master I run into an old crush of my tonight. She was talking about calling the slayer Buffy Summers here."
"Xander, she was talking about calling a slayer here the night before the factory opens up and you let her live?"
"The white hat show up and save her."
"You still should have stopped her Willow or dead trying to stop her. Xander and Willow go kill this girl before she can call the slayer Buffy and get her here or get Faith to start slaying again and finds the young slayer Kennedy that never got on the airplane to come here.
"(Willow and Xander) Yes Master."
Xander and Willow walk away from the Master to the door of the club. At the same time at the high school library, Giles is running around gathers up stakes, axes, swords and crossbows, as the rest of the white hat is keeping watch out for vampires around the school. Cordelia is looking at Giles and has a worried look on her face.
"Giles, Buffy should be in Sunnydale. Why are you here but she is not here, you are her watcher?"
"How do you know that, I never tell anyone I was a watcher?"
"I made a wish that Buffy Summers had never come to Sunnydale to someone name Anya and the wish came true. This is Anya's necklace, she put the necklace on me right before I made the wish."
"Do you say Anya?"
"Yes."
"This is not good you made a wish to a vengeance demon, her real name is Anyanka."
At the same time Willow and Xander come into the library and Willow pushes Giles into the book cage and then Xander drink Cordelia blood. Oz come running into the library after Xander and Willow left and Oz let Giles out of the book cage. Giles then pulls the necklace off Cordelia neck. Giles then goes into his office to call Faith and to call Buffy's watcher and Kennedy mother and stepfather. Thirty minutes later Faith's show up at the high school library and is very unhappy about having to bring Destiny outside before the sun come up. An hour later a blond hair girl and a young dark brown hair girl come into the library looking very unhappy about have to be in Sunnydale.
(Kennedy and Buffy) Why I am I here?"
"To help us fight the vampires and their boss the Master, why I try to reverse a wish a girl made to a Vengeance Demon."
"What was the wish?"
"That Buffy Summers never came to Sunnydale."
The three Slayers look at each other and then look at Giles. Then the three slayers and Giles look at Destiny who is sitting on the floor and notice she has just stands up and she is taking small steps toward her mom. When Destiny makes it to her mom, Faith picks up Destiny and then Faith gives her daughter a big hug.
"Let go dust this Master guy."
"I am for that because he needs to pay for killing the father of my daughter Buffy."
"Let go get this over with so I can go back to New York and try out for my high school competitive cheerleading team!'
Giles takes Destiny and then the three slayers walk out of the library. A few minutes later Faith drives Buffy and Kennedy to the Bronze in her minivan and when they get to the club the slayers find Angel lock in a cage that is in the basement of the Bronze. Faith goes and unlocks the cage and then walks into the cage and over to Angel.
"You had to come and try to kill the Master yourself and get lock in a cage. Angel met Buffy Summers and Kennedy."
"Nice to finally meet both of you."
"Let free him, he can help us. "
(Buffy and Kennedy) Whatever."
Faith free Angel and then he takes the three slayers to the factory the Master is opening that night and as soon as the four of them get inside the factory the three slayers and Angel start fighting the vampires. Faith takes out Xander first then dust Willow and Angle is fighting two vampires at once. Kennedy walks over to a cage full of People and kick the lock on the cage. Once the locks break, she let everyone at and get them someone safe. At the same time Buffy start walking to the stage, which is where the Master is and one of his vampire runs up to Buffy and starts fighting her and the Master jump off the stage and comes up behind Buffy's. The Master then grabs Buffy by the neck then twists her neck until the neck breaks, Faith comes running up behind the Master and stakes him in the back. Then the Master turns to dust right as Giles break the stone of Anya necklace, which cause everything to go back to normal.
"I wish Buffy Summers never come to Sunnydale."
"Done, what why did it not work?"
Cordelia stands up and walks away from Anya who has start looking everywhere for her necklace that is no longer there. At the same time across the courtyard and under the tree Xander, Willow, Oz, Buffy and Faith are watching Destiny take a few steps in the grass outside the school.
