Part Five
Riku and Mai: Birth
Ch. 1
"You were suppose to watch her!" Riku grabbed Ninja and shook him. "You were suppose to watch her! You were suppose to keep her safe!" Riku shook Ninja more violently, "Why weren't you watching her?!"
"Your highness, I'm sorry, forgive me," Ninja said.
"Riku, calm down, we can still find her," Raven said.
Riku turned and glared at her, Doki stepped in between the two, "Riku, as a friend I ask that you don't glare at Raven that way," Doki spoke calmly without yelling, holding in his anger as best he could.
Riku sighed and released Ninja. Ninja turned to Hurricane, "Ninja, they left this world."
"What?!" Riku exclaimed, anger filled him, but slowly it decreased. "Doki stop that!"
Doki shrugged, "Control it or I will," he folded his arms.
"Okay," he groaned, "Can you guys track her?"
"We can, but because we don't know which world she's on we'll have to go to several," Hurricane answered.
"But we'll have to hurry," Ninja said.
"Why?" Riku asked.
"Well, you all know that Mai is going to have the baby soon but once it's actually time to conceive the powers will be neutralized, for both the child and Mai," Ninja said, "and that will make them very exposed to anything."
"How long do we have before then…"
"Two weeks if not three."
Riku gasped and lowered his head, "So… she'll be safe from any attack until then, right?"
"Yes," Ninja said, "As far as I know…"
"As far as you know…" Riku said filled with the uttermost doubt.
