Harry's point of view

After Fira's narrow escape from trouble yet again things calmed down. In fact she was being extra extra extra good, like so good you could hit her and shed just smile and ask how you're doing and if you need help caring those books. Malfoy tried on multiple occasions to aggravate her, but her angle act held strong.

As the owls flooded into the Great Hall as usual, everyone's attention was caught at once by a long, thin package carried by six large screech owls. I was just as interested as everyone else to see what was in this large parcel, and was amazed when the owls soared down and dropped it right in front of me, knocking my bacon to the floor, but not the fruit Fira had already saved that. Fruit after all is much more important than silly old bacon, at least in Fira's mind. They had hardly fluttered out of the way when another owl dropped a letter on top of the parcel.

I ripped open the letter first, which was lucky, because it said:

DO NOT OPEN THE PARCEL AT THE TABLE.

It contains your new Nimbus Two Thousand, but I don't want everybody knowing you've got a

broomstick or they'll all want one. Oliver Wood will meet you tonight on the Quidditch field at

seven o'clock for your first training session.

Professor McGonagall

I had difficulty hiding my glee as I handed the note to Ron to read.

"A Nimbus Two Thousand!" Ron moaned enviously. "I've never even touched one." We left the hall quickly, wanting to unwrap the broomstick in private before their first class. Ok well we tried to leave the hall quickly it was took a couple of seconds to get Fira to leave the table. She left after a minute, however she had an apple in one hand and a bowl of grapes in the other, at least it wasn't chocolate. Halfway across the entrance hall we found the way upstairs barred by Crabbe and Goyle. Malfoy seized the package from me and felt it.

"That's a broomstick," he said, throwing it back to me with a mixture of jealousy and spite on his face. "You'll be in for it this time, Potter, first years aren't allowed them."

"Malfoy when have your plans to get rid of him ever worked?" Fira said lazily and than added with a dazziling smile "But don't give up K!"

Ron couldn't resist adding. "It's not any old broomstick," he said, "it's a Nimbus Two Thousand. What did you say you've got at home, Malfoy, a Comet Two Sixty?" Ron grinned at me. "Comets look flashy, but they're not in the same league as the Nimbus."

"What would you know about it, Weasley, you couldn't afford half the handle," Malfoy snapped back. "I suppose you and your brothers have to save up twig by twig." Before Ron could answer, Professor Flitwick appeared at Malfoy's elbow.

"Not arguing, I hope, boys?" he squeaked.

*ehem* Fira coughed.

"And girls," Professor Flitwick added.

"Potter's been sent a broomstick, Professor," said Malfoy quickly.

"Yes, yes, that's right," said Professor Flitwick, beaming at me. "Professor McGonagall told me all about the special circumstances, Potter. And what model is it?"

"A Nimbus Two Thousand, it is," I said, fighting not to laugh at the look of horror on Malfoy's face. "And it's really thanks to Malfoy here that I've got it," he added.

We headed upstairs, Ron and I smothering their laughter at Malfoy's obvious rage and confusion.

"Well, it's true," I chortled as they reached the top of the marble staircase, "If he hadn't stolen Neville's Remembrall I wouldn't be on the team…"

"So I suppose you think that's a reward for breaking rules?" came an angry voice from just behind them. Hermione was stomping up the stairs, looking disapprovingly at the package in my hand.

"I thought you weren't speaking to us?" I said.

"Yes, don't stop now," said Ron, "it's doing us so much good."

Hermione marched away with her nose in the air.

Sapphire's point of view

Grapes or apples, apples or grapes, apple I was almost done with it anyway, I decided lobbing the apple into the trash can. Then I turned and slapped Harry lightly in the arm. He looked at me surprised, which wasn't surprising at all.

"Maybe I want to be friends with her, and besides that haven't you boys heard off manners?" I asked.

"Why would you want to be friends with her? She such a know it all?" Ron asked. Harry eyes were slightly down casted, as if he was thinking over his actions.

"Oh, honestly, I'm smarter than Harry, and you when it comes to something's."

"Ya but you don't shove it in our faces."

"I just did, so what are you going to ostracize me too Ron?" He looked slightly down, and now I felt bad.

"Sorry, its just one of those things that bugs me. I just realty hate when people are ignored because there different. I hope you guys can forgive me?" I apologized?

"Ya" They said.

"Don't we have a broom to open?" I asked. And this little comment made them smile again, silly boys.

So I got my 4th review for my last chapter on Saturday night and since I don't post on Sundays I posted today. Sorry for the wait. Please, please review! When I get 4 reviews I'll post again. And it can seriously be on anything, my grammar (which is typically not very good), on what you liked what you hate, or just the chapter in general. As always thanks for reading!
