Chapter 35: Return to Sender

Back at Academy Island, Dr. Eisenstein gasped as he heard a loud beeping noise in his truck. After all the scientists and security regained consciousness, everyone was working overtime just to make sure the Academy building and all the people who vanished along with it came back safely. The doctor rushed to what looked like some radar and saw a giant red blip in the middle with a small green circle around it. On another screen, another scientist viewed a large wormhole widening.

"The portal's opening," Eisenstein exclaimed, "They must have succeeded in using the Rainbow Dragon!"

Outside the giant crater, the duelists that defended the island had looked up at the sky to see a giant wormhole opening that darkened the area. Suddenly, a massive light pillar shot down from the hole and hit the crater. Everyone covered their eyes to avoid being blinded and stood their ground from the winds that could blow them away.

Inside the light, the Rainbow Dragon flew inside the wormhole spreading particles over the crater and letting out a powerful roar that dissipated the light. But once it did, something amazing happened when everyone opened their eyes...

Duel Academy was right back in the crater's place!

Also everyone that was sent with the Academy came back as well. Most of them were unconscious outside the doors and stone barricade, some groaning through the pain. The first ones to wake up were Syrus and Chazz, sitting up near the stones.

The black coat Slifer opened up his eyes and looked around, "Are we... back?" He asked weakly. When he looked at Syrus, Chazz nearly reached for his duel disk on impulse but took another look at the little Ra and saw that the dark markings under his eyes were gone and that he looked normal.

"I hope so..." Syrus replied, looking around. Before he could express excitement, he felt something slide down his right wrist. When he lifted up his blazer sleeve, he saw that the Bio-Band he wore had cracked apart and crumbled to dust! "Hey, the Bio-Band's off!"

In another part of the Academy, many other students felt their Bio-Bands crumble to dust off their wrists after waking up. But it took Blair and Hassleberry waking up to voice everyone's current thoughts.

"Oh my God, we're back!" Blair shouted.

"She's right," Hassleberry shouted as well, "A blue sky with one sun, birds chirping, and the ocean around the island!"

"And everyone's not a Zombie Duelist either," Alex exclaimed, causing everyone to smile and cheer loudly.

Miss Dorothy looked on at the happy faces of the students along with Pharaoh and Wheeler on her shoulders. "Finally, all the craziness has ended..."

[Finally, we're home!] Wheeler screeched, jumping up and down while Pharaoh gave a happy meow.

Still knocked out, however, were Jaden, Claudio, Marcel, and Xiu Zhen all leaned up on the walls. Kurogasa and Mikoto looked over them with worried expressions, even though they checked that their vitals were still good.

"You think they're okay?" Mikoto asked.

"With them being blown back from that intense duel, being exhausted from countless Survival Duels," Kurogasa started and then looked to Marcel and Xiu Zhen, "Added with those two being possessed by two dark monster spirits... they really need the rest."

"You can say that again!" Both of them looked to see Miss Fontaine, Spencer, Kal and Ray, back to their old selves, smiling down at the students.

"Nice to see you all are okay," Kurogasa said, smiling up at them and noticed that the faculty's sickly expressions were gone.

"Yeah," Spencer replied, rubbing the back of his neck, "I rather not do all of those dangerous stunts the students said I did while I was possessed again..."

"I rather not get the crap beaten out of me by my possessed wife... again..." Kal quipped, earning a hard slap on his shoulder from Ray.

"Shut up..." She grinned, "At least I didn't mind when you hit back this time..."

"Not in front of the kids, honey..." the Knight Duelist muttered, causing the kids to blush at the implications.

Fonda sighed at their antics as she checked on the condition of Marcel and Xiu Zhen. During that moment, Jaden and Claudio decided to wake up.

"Hey..." Jaden groaned, "Are we back?"

"Are those two normal again?" Claudio added, asking about their underclassmen.

"They'll be fine," the nurse assured them, "Also, yes, we did get back home, thanks to you two."

Claudio sighed, "Good, because that was too much out of me. I just want to get back to rockin' in my own world..."

"Maybe you could do a concert to celebrate," Jaden smiled, "After all; the last one got interrupted..."

The J-Hero duelist grinned as he closed his eyes again to rest, "I'll wait until the night; I need some R&R plus some practice time since I got my guitar back." He then looked to Kurogasa, "Thanks for that..."

"No problem," the Haos Duelist replied, giving him the thumbs up, "I'm a big fan of what you do..."

"I also can't believe we survive that onslaught against the Sacred Beasts Fusion form," the E-Hero duelist noted, "Hey Jesse, Allyson..." He looked around the crowd of cheering students and faculty, but saw no sign of his girlfriend and her brother. "Jesse? Allyson?" He then gasped as he remembered what happened during that duel...

(Flashback)

"I play my face down card!" a voice called out, waking everyone from their thoughts. Glancing over at Jesse, the Hero Duelists saw that Jesse's face down card was rising up. "It's time I did my part in saving Claudio, and Jaden, who protected my sister, no matter what you say or do Yubel and Trageodia, and here is my proof! I'm activating my spell Prism Wall."

Shooting up out of the ground in front of the black and white warrior with no warning was a glass wall. A series of walls began shooting up also, seemingly building a pathway towards the large white dragon.

Glaring at the walls, Tragoedia yelled "What have you done!?"

Chuckling lightly, Jesse calmly said "I just saved the boys. See, my Prism Wall forces your monster's attack to be redirected towards my Rainbow Dragon. But I'm not going to allow you to destroy Rainbow Dragon either, by no means. I play his special ability! By sending all my Crystal Beasts on my field to my Graveyard, I can add 1000 ATK to my dragon for each one."

Eyes widening, Yubel asked shakily "You mean you can raise that dragon's strength!?"

"Sure can!" Jesse confidently remarked. "I send all six of my Crystal Beasts on my field to my Graveyard, thus raising the strength of Rainbow Dragon!"

Glowing one after another, the four crystals on the field in front of Jesse vanished, causing the gems on the sides of the dragon's body to begin to light up with a bright glow each. Sapphire Pegasus and Ameythst Cat on the field then transformed into crystals as well and vanished, causing two more gems on the dragon's body to glow to life. Letting out a heavy roar the white dragon's power increased greatly while rainbow energy began to gather in its jaws. (10/4000-10000/0)

"Let's finish this; Rainbow Dragon, counter with Rainbow Refraction!" Jesse cried out.

The dark orange energy that had been traveling towards the white and black warrior suddenly hit the glass walls and began snaking its way towards the Crystal Beast dragon. Opening its jaws, the white dragon fired a beam back of its own rainbow energy. The two blasts struck one another, causing a fierce explosion to erupt onto the field and through the top of the Prism Wall, sending debris flying everywhere. Over the skies, a portal was opening up over the field and spreading towards the Academy building.

Jaden and Claudio were instantly thrown off the dueling site, but were quickly caught by Melody's two Dark Magicians. The boys had lost consciousness while the battle in the dueling ring continued on.

(End Flashback)

Jaden gasped again and started to look worried and frantic.

"Jaden, what's wrong?" Miss Fontaine asked.

The Senior Slifer broke into a run through the crowd, looking for someone. He was now desperately looking for answers since he fell unconscious before the conclusion of the duel. He then found what he was looking for... Axel and Fidel were watching everyone cheer for their return home. Jaden remembered that those two watched the duel closely, and thought if anyone knew what happened at the end, it was those two.

"Axel! Fidel!" He shouted, grabbing the attention of the West Academy duelists.

"It's good to see you're up and about," Fidel praised, patting the Slifer on the shoulder," One hell of a duel..."

"What happened at the end of that duel," He interrupted, "Where's Allyson!? Where's Jesse!? Did they escape!?"

Axel and Fidel looked at each other in confusion at Jaden's frantic questions. Finally, Axel responded with, "You didn't see it? Jesse played his Prism Wall to get you and Claudio out of the way so that Rainbow Dragon could have the power to send us all home." He then sighed sadly, "But... he couldn't leave as Rainbow Dragon needed his energy in order to keep that portal open..."

Jaden widened his eyes and fell to his knees, "B-but... Allyson's..."

"We can't find her anywhere," Fidel added, "She was with you before the duel ended; we thought you knew..."

That's when it finally happened... Jaden Yuki felt like his whole world came crashing down. He looked liked everyone dear to him had just died. But it turned out to be two of the people he came to value the most...

"No... No… NO!" He shouted at the top of his lungs, "JESSE! ALLYSON!"

Claudio ran through the crowd, running after Jaden and saw him talking with Axel and Fidel. He heard everything Jaden was asking and saw him breakdown. The J-Hero duelist felt sad as well, knowing that Jesse had saved not only Jaden, but himself as well. He also felt sad for Jaden, losing his girlfriend and thinking they were inseparable from anything. He then shivered as he remembered part of the cause... Trageodia...

'Damn...' Claudio thought, 'Looks like we have to wait for the concert... we have to find a way for Jesse and Allyson to come back...'

Later that day, the entire school put together a party in celebration of the Academy being back where it belongs. It also was a celebration of the defeat of the organization Venom. The many people ate and drank their fill, not having to worry about shortages and making sure that would have more imported for years to come. Overlooking the people were Sheppard, Pegasus, Kaiba, and Seth who had talked amongst themselves. Also present were Crowler and Kai.

"So you're saying that you were the one who saved the students from certain death," Sheppard asked, with an unconvinced tone.

"Of course," Crowler smiled, "I had to go above and beyond to keep my precious students together in that dreadful place!"

"Yet we all know it was Jaden and Claudio that did most of the work," Pegasus interjected, causing Crowler to fall down.

"Actually sir," Kai noted, "While some of his plans fell apart, ultimately Dr. Crowler gave us the opening we needed to get us all here. With all we know him to be, it took massive courage to stand in the face of certain defeat in order to protect us."

The Ancient Gear Duelist looked at the East Academy Teacher in shock... He was defending him, after being one of the four instructors sent to Duel Academy to improve the students, technically replacing him in teaching.

"Well, I'm impressed." Sheppard smiled down at his employee, "Which is why you're being promoted back to Obelisk Blue Headmaster..."

Crowler gasped happily as he stood back up and shook both of the Chancellor's hands. "Oh thank you, sir! I promise I will uphold the position with pride!"

"You're not off the hook that easily..." The reinstated Headmaster stiffened up as he heard that cold, stern voice. He peered right next to him to see Kaiba's piercing stare. "I am still waiting on that report of how my Sub-Space Dueling System helped your vision of this school." He demanded in his 'calm' tone. "I would ask Bonaparte but he's off tending to his son, so it's up to you to give me the details."

"Well... I... uh..." Crowler stammered, not finding a perfect explanation.

"I'll answer that," Valencia announced herself, walking over to the stage. "With our current situation, we were able to use that Sub-Space Dueling System to produce the results from Zane and Jesse's duel. Unfortunately, you could see the result as one side takes attacks as holograms, the other may result in real damage." She then looked to Crowler, "Crowler thought you would not want to place in duelist on the brink of death, so he delayed telling you and tried to make sure that it was safe. Yet with our dilemma in the other dimension, he could not follow."

"I see," Kaiba replied, "Then I guess that will have to be postponed for further research."

"It would appear so," Pegasus added, "Of course it was to continue, your company would be responsible for harming civilizations unknown."

Kaiba nodded and turned back to Crowler, "I'll leave this alone, Crowler," the KC President stated, "But next time I want results sooner; I'm not waiting a year for them..." He then walked away leaving Crowler feeling extremely relieved. He went back to Seth and spoke to him, "So Scrapper, what are the details on the student and faculty roster?"

"We're still missing some people," Seth reported, "Adrian Gecko, Jesse Anderson, and Allyson Anderson did not make it back. Also Kouji Stein and Cassandra Ivy were found dead, along with a few others Thelonious Viper hired to cause havoc during his time here. They'll be transported to a morgue to find out the cause of their untimely deaths. Shana, Haku, and Violet been arrested and ready to be sent back to the mainland, Echo and Ileana Viper are included."

Kaiba had a grim look when heard the small list of deceased, "A lot of things to clean up and we can't hide this from the families. Just get the criminals off the island at the very least and report back to Mokuba."

"Yes sir..." Seth nodded and took his leave with his security team.

Meanwhile, Bastion and Dr. Eisenstein were inside of a truck monitoring the dimensional rifts that were closing up, leading to the place they were stuck in. The apprentice told his mentor of his findings in the other dimension, and even spoke about how the Rainbow Dragon was powerful enough to escape destruction and create the portal to reverse everything Yubel and Tragoedia did to regain their bodies. However, they were still saddened with the losses...

"So Jesse and the Rainbow Dragon are... gone?" Eisenstein asked carefully, as to not sound insensitive.

"Yes," Bastion nodded. "He had to stay in order to support the Crystal Beasts and Rainbow Dragon's power to keep that portal open. Also, Allyson was with him during the duel."

The physicist sighed, "They are lost then... with the dimensional gates closing up, chances are of another one opening are..."

A loud beeping from the radars interrupted their conversation and made them divert their attention. Once they saw that a dimensional rip was still opened, Bastion and Eisenstein set to work in tracking the signal.

At the docks, Kenji and Alexis were with Kenshin seeing the young samurai off on his boat. On his boat, Shana and Haku were tied to the mast with tired looks on their faces.

"Well, I'm off," Kenshin stated, "I got what came for and a lot more in the process..."

"Yeah," Kenji replied, "Sorry you had to go through the dimension crossing with us."

"Not like I had a choice," the samurai shrugged, and then turned his head towards his two captives, "I got to take these two back to our villages for their punishment and return the forbidden decks."

"Good," the ninja added, "I couldn't take knowing that the Yomi and Yokai were roaming around."

"I guess they're a lot dangerous if they had to be out of public use," Alexis said, "I've seen some monsters look like those, but I guess they weren't ancient."

"True," Kenshin agreed as he got into the boat, "Just make sure you're careful with the information; normally outsiders would be silenced, but with you being Kenji's girlfriend and a powerful duelist in your own right, you'll be fine."

"And if anyone tries to do so," Kenji stated, pulling a kunai out of nowhere, "They'll have the business end of my Ninja Skill Mastery to deal with."

"I thought you were still in training," Kenshin pointed out. The ninja duelist started grumbling, making Alexis giggle. "Anyway, I'll see you two around." He then took the rope off his boat that anchored to the docks and set off for his journey across the sea with both Obelisks waving him goodbye. But not before the samurai pulled out another trick, "I just hope Tiana doesn't try to pull you two apart!"

Kenji and Alexis suddenly got red in the face for different reasons: Kenji for embarrassment and Alexis in anger, directing it at Kenji. Seeing this caused Kenshin to watch the amusement unfold as Alexis was now arguing about the next time Tiana would be played and Kenji trying to quell his angry girlfriend. 'I envy you, Kenji... Duel Academy has treated you well beyond your own village. You became a lot more powerful than I..'

At the Ra Yellow Dorm, Marcel was recovering inside his room from being possessed by Tragoedia. The first person to stand by his side was his father, Jean-Louis Bonaparte. The short, old man had sobbed uncontrollably as he felt guilt for his son's state of health.

"I'm so sorry, Marcel," He cried, down on both knees, "I never understood the pain you went through when you were younger. I'll admit that it was my fault that caused your mom and I to divorce; all the arguments and statements I made led it all to this... some demon possessing you because I left you all alone!" He continued to cry, not noticing that his son was awake.

"It's alright, Papa," Marcel replied weakly, stopping his father's crying to look at him. "I'm not alone anymore... I had friends that fought to rescue me from that monster." Hear that caused Bonaparte to cry again, but this time in joy that his son had someone looking out for him.

Outside the room, Blair smiled at the scene before her. She went to check on Marcel as well, but decided to let father and son bond again. "I'm glad you're alright, Marcel..." She said softly before leaving.

Inside the Slifer Dorm, Jachin was left unconscious in his room with Chazz and Sam leaving him to rest. They had a talk outside, regarding their friend's condition.

"He's just sleeping," Chazz shrugged, "But I know that's not the case..."

"Yeah, we just saw a side of Jachin that I didn't know," Sam sighed worriedly, "I mean he's a far cry from the guy I introduced myself to. He was genuine happy, and even acknowledged how I wanted to be different from the other Obelisk girls. But then I heard his history with Xiu Zhen; he completely snapped and came out with a sadistic outrage..." She then looked at Chazz and asked, "Do you think he'll go for her again?"

"If he hasn't got whatever's in head in check, he will," Chazz stated. "After all, he was so scared of his other self that he gave me that card Jaden used. And even once told me that he accepted that side of himself, meaning that everything his Shadow wants to do is what he wants to do. And I can't blame him for my brothers working him to the bone. Sure, I was able to get the drop on him when he tried to escape from that triple tag-team duel..."

"Yeah, that other self will be back to come after Xiu Zhen," The Gusta Duelist figured. She then gave a light smile to the Ojama duelist, "And by the way, thanks for listening to me... I know we came off with a bad start opening day, but Jachin's my friend, too..."

Chazz sighed and put on a cocky grin saying, "What can I say? Jachin values the Chazz." He was then met with an unexpected hug from Sam, making him blush furiously.

"Just don't lose that side of you…" She finished before letting him go and leaving towards the rec room. "Jachin's going to need his brother while he bounces back..."

Chazz was still left speechless as someone who butted heads with him since they first met... had just hugged him and gave him words of encouragement. Soon, Ojama Yellow popped up next to his shoulder with a big grin.

"I knew that you'd do the right thing, Boss!" He exclaimed, "Why can't you always be this nice?"

Chazz didn't even respond to that as he looked back to the room with Jachin inside, before leaving off for the rec room.

Jachin was unconscious in his room, struggling from the fight from within. He was still hurting and exhausted from being possessed by his Shadow. Still, he was in the recesses in his mind and in conversation with his other.

"You idiot," Jacinth shouted to his host, "How can you help those fools stop me!? I was about to win that duel and claim the life of that girl! I put up with those demons to fulfill your innermost desires, and don't you dare deny them!"

"I don't want her dead," Jachin stated, "I may hate her for what she said and was hiding from me, but I will not take a life." The Shadow sneered, "Get mad all you want, but wishing things would happen is different from actually want those things to happen. You're just abusing my power!"

"OUR power, ME," Jacinth spat, "I will have what WE want and that's to rid the world of those who threaten your existence and torment you for your powers! So be prepared for the day when Teo Xiu Zhen dies because of your hidden feelings! Because that's how you really feel..." He stated before walking away.

Inside the Silfer Rec Room Claudio, Melody, Reyna, Alexis, Kenji, Syrus, Hassleberry, Chazz, Sam, and Atticus were sitting around with sad looks after hearing from Axel and Fidel about his Jaden's fall out. Tetsu was there also to relay the events that happened back home, dealing with Venom's organization. It was also a bombshell to who the leader was.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Atticus shouted, "Viper had a wife!?"

"Yeah," Tetsu replied, "She tried to take advantage of Duel Academy's appearance in order to get Kaiba's company. Apparently, she wanted to resurrect her dead son with some container she had plus Kaiba's technology."

"Really," Kenji asked, "That's what Viper wanted to do when he got Jaden and Claudio to duel him to fuel the Bio-Bands. But then we found out that he was possessed by the same demons we were dealing with in the other dimension."

"I may not like the methods they went through," Alexis stated, "But I feel for that family now; two of them are dead and the third was a wanted criminal and now alone. I can only imagine how heartbroken she must be."

The door soon opened with Jim, Yuri, and Crystal came in and sat down as well.

"So, how goes it?" Claudio asked them.

"It's still bad," Yuri replied, "Jaden's holed up in his room..."

"This is the worse I've seen, Jay," Syrus sighed.

"Yeah, I have never seen the Sarge down and out like this," Hassleberry stated. "But then again, he's had two people close to him taken and he wasn't around to see it."

"Me and Miss Valtona are still taking it hard," Crystal said, sitting down, "I mean Jesse was the only one back at North Academy I could talk to that was a student. And not that we ever showed it, but we really liked each other..."

"But I wonder what went on during that duel," Jim mused, "I mean, we could have learned what happened but nothing to base it on."

"It's what Fidel and I saw but we couldn't piece it all together," Axel noted, "We had to stay where we were in order to get home."

"What did you see Claudio?" Syrus asked, as everyone turned to the J-Hero duelist. "You were with Jaden and Jesse at the time."

"Not much since I was blown from the field the same as Jaden..." Claudio shrugged, "Jesse played a card that blocked us from the action while he stood alone against Yubel and..." He suddenly stopped when he was about to utter the second demon's name. His face looked conflicted and decided not to say anymore.

"It's that monster that came out of Marcel, isn't it," Melody asked softly, trying to calm her boyfriend down. "Where did you get a card...?"

"You don't wanna know..." He replied as he quickly sat up from his seat.

"Well we gotta know why Yubel and Trageodia came after you two," Atticus interjected. "I mean, you can say that this whole thing is..."

"Don't finish that sentence," Alexis stopped her brother abruptly, causing the Red-Eyes Duelist to shut his mouth as he realized what was going to be said.

"It's our fault, Jaden and I, you can say it," Claudio waved off, "They turned most of the students into zombies and nearly killed you guys to get to us, right? I mean, he's got Jesse and Allyson..."

"Calm down, amigo," Fidel started to say...

"NO!" Claudio shouted, causing everyone to jump, "I know what that Monster is capable of! I thought I was never going to see that thing again when I got rid of it!" He then tried to leave, but was quickly stopped by Melody grabbing his arm.

"You can't leave it like this!" Melody shouted to him, "We have to know why this happened and maybe find away to fix this mess!"

Claudio was about to retort, but seeing her worried and stern face as well as the others he stopped resisting Melody's grip. He then sighed and plopped down on the couch. He took a deep breath and started talking, "I was about 6 years old, and my dad came back from a business trip. When I first got into Duel Monsters, he gave me that card to start with."

"Trageodia," Yuri noted, causing the J-Hero duelist to flinch.

"Just hearing that name scares me..." Claudio sighed, "I rather not see him again..."

"Why?"

"With that card, I won a lot of duels around my neighborhood..." Claudio stated. "I mean, the effects of that card were amazing. I thanked my dad everyday for giving it to me..." He then looked grim. "That's when it happened... Some big shot tried to make a name and bullied me into a duel where he tried to take that card..."

(Flashback)

12 years ago, a six year old Claudio Osbourne was at a playground table with an older boy of 14 playing against him in Duel Monsters. Claudio had no Monster cards and only one facedown card on his field with 2900 Life Points. His opponent had Swordstalker, (6/2000/1600), La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp (4/1800/1000) and Saggi the Dark Clown (3/600/1500) on his field along with 3600 Life Points.

"Alright, kid," the teen said, drawing his next card, "It's time that I beat you! And it starts with Swordstalker attacking your life points directly!" Without holograms being used, the boy tapped his chosen monster card and then pointed at Claudio, signaling the attack. Claudio didn't make a move, letting the attack go through.

Teen: 3600

Claudio: 900

"Alright, I can win this with another attack!" the teen exclaimed.

"But you have to go through my friend here first," the little Claudio grinned widely as he flipped over one of the cards in his hand, "Since you dealt me damage, I can summon Trageodia to protect my life points!" Claudio set his monster card down, but no one knew that its spirit was lingering behind him. (10/?/?)

"What..." the teen whined as he saw the favored monster of his opponent. But then he blinked as he looked at the number of cards Claudio had in his hand and grinned, "Wait, you only have two cards in your hand! And it only gains 600 for each right?"

Claudio looked as his hand but then freaked out noticing what that man, "Crud! His ATK are 1200 now!" He shouted as the spirit behind him grumbled. (10/?-1200/?-1200)

"Meaning I'm going to win after La Jinn destroys him!" the teen exclaimed as he declared his attack.

But then Claudio smiled, "And I have this card to make sure I still got this!" He then flipped over the facedown card, "I use this Reckless Greed card to draw two more cards! Meaning my monster gains another 1200 ATK!" The boy gasped and Trageodia's spirit roared triumphantly as his power grew (10/1200-2400/1200-2400) "And since you declared an attack on a stronger monster, I get to counterattack!"

The teen grumbled as he took La Jinn's card off the field and into his graveyard pile.

Teen: 3000

Claudio: 900

"Alright, you can't beat me with Trageodia on my side!" Claudio cheered.

"You're right... I can't..." the teen said cryptically, "Which is why I'll go straight for your points!" He then played a Spell Card, "Go Tremendous Fire! This deal us both damage, 1000 for you and 500 for me! Game over!"

Claudio gasped he realized he couldn't do anything to block it, which caused him to lose...

Teen: 2500, Winner

Claudio: 0

The young kid was saddened that he finally lost since having his favorite card, but didn't notice that the Spirit of Trageodia was furious. He was then jarred out of his sadness when the teen bully slammed the table with his hand.

"Got you, you little squirt," the older boy shouted, "Now give me that card; it's wasted on little kids like you!"

"No way, my dad gave me that card," Claudio protested, "I won't give it up!"

"You lost!" the bully continued his threat and then even reached for the card. Big mistake… The moment he touched the card, the spirit behind Claudio began to go feral. He growled at the boy touching his card and grabbed him with his transparent hand. The bully felt the grip, getting crushed by the unseen assailant and it was scaring Claudio.

"You have no right to wield my power!" Trageodia roared, sending black waves into the bully's body and made him fall into a coma before releasing him. Claudio was left terrified at the sight...

(End Flashback)

Everyone looked stunned as Claudio finished his tale.

"That's right..." He said, shaking, "And then it got worse; somebody related to them suffered especially when they tried to come after me for a duel! Whether I won or lost, they all met the same end! Pretty soon, every kid around the neighborhood freaked out whenever I brought my deck. And when my sisters wanted to bond with me by dueling, it was the final straw... I made sure to throw that card away so that I'd never hurt anyone again!"

(Flashback)

A young Claudio ran out in a thunderstorm, tears flowing down his cheeks along with the harsh rain. In his hands, he carried Trageodia inside of a deck box. Pretty soon, he reached a bridge over a river flowing downstream. He took one final look at the deck box, but with burning rage in his eyes.

"All you did... everybody's afraid of me... BECAUSE OF YOU," Claudio shouted to the card, "Everyone who dueled me is now hurt badly and I won't let my big sisters get hurt playing with me either! Sorry dad, but this card has to go!" He then threw the card hard into the air before running back home, never seeing where the deck box landed...

(End Flashback)

"Whoa..." Atticus gasped. "You had that much rage on it?"

"Yeah," Claudio sighed and shook uncontrollably, "All because of one guy trying to get at him. Any duelists he saw weak, Trageodia made sure to terrify them to never hold a deck or outright took them down. I never knew it was a spirit since I could never see them at that age, but I kept hearing that laugh whenever a duel was done. I knew it was him at the end and cried telling him to stop hurting people before the last time I dueled with him and he still did it...

Everyone looked worried and scared hearing the J-Hero duelist's explanation while Melody held him, trying to calm him down.

"It's just like Jaden and Yubel..." Reyna said to herself, not noticing that it attracted attention."

"Oh yeah, what's the story on those two?" Axel asked. "From what I've heard, it sounds like that monster was in love with him or something."

Reyna sighed, "Yubel was something like a 'guardian angel' to Jaden after his dad gave it to him. Jaden cherished that card because of that fact and we treated her as a friend. And with our parents gone on business all the time, all me and Jaden had was dueling each other and other kids around the neighborhood. But it truly stemmed from two problems... Jaden could never play his card and those who were unknown about bonds with cards... Back then, we had a connection to spirits even though Jaden couldn't see like I could but hear them just as well..."

(Flashback)

One day, a young Reyna watched her twin brother Jaden duel an older boy named Osamu on the dining room table to pass the time at the Yuki house. Currently, Osamu finished his turn with one card his hand and his field containing Skull Servant (1/300/200), Clown Zombie (2/1350/0), Dragon Zombie (3/1600/0) and a facedown card.

Jaden had one card in his hand with Oscillo Hero (3/1250/700) and Beaver Warrior (4/1200/1500) on the field.

Osamu: 2200

Jaden: 1800

"Alright, it's my turn," Jaden announced, drawing his next card. He gasped happily at the card he just drew... Yubel. He turned to his sister, "Hey Reyna, I got it!"

"Yeah," Reyna cheered, "Take 'em down, you two!"

Jaden then removed the two monster cards from his field, "I sacrifice my two monsters and summon Yubel!" He then placed his favorite monster on the field. (10/0/0) Reyna gasped as she saw Yubel's spirit emerge from behind her brother and patted him on the back. The younger twin smiled thinking that her brother was going to win this time. However...

"I activate my trap card," Osamu called, revealing his facedown card, "It's called Perfect Counter Code 123! When I have a Level 1, a Level 2, and a Level 3 Monster on the field and you summon a monster, I can negate the Summoning and destroy her!"

Jaden and Reyna gasped as the former was forced to place Yubel's card in the graveyard pile. Then Reyna saw as Yubel's spirit screamed in horror and vanished, "Yubel!" She cried.

"Okay, here goes," Osamu continued, beginning his turn by a draw of the card, "You're wide open, Jaden! I use Skull Servant, Clown Zombie, and Dragon Zombie to attack you directly!" And with the shock of losing his monster, Jaden was startled hearing the move being called and fell over in his chair and hit the ground.

Osamu: 2200, Winner

Jaden: 0

"Jaden!" Reyna and Osamu cried as they ran over to the fallen boy. While they came over, Yubel's card had also fallen off the table and floated on top of Jaden's chest.

"Jaden... Jaden..." He could hear Yubel solemnly cry over her owner's loss. Jaden noticed her card and looked back sadly.

"I'm sorry I couldn't summon you, Yubel..." Jaden apologized.

"You okay, big brother," Reyna asked, hugging him.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Jaden replied, "But I couldn't summon Yubel again... I mean, I always could summon her when I play against you but everyone else..."

"That's because she never had anything out to stop her," Osamu kindly explained, "You always try to summon that card to win; you should try to play something else to catch others off guard."

"But our dad gave me this card," Jaden explained as he looked to Reyna and Yubel, "And every time I have her card me and Reyna can hear her encourage me to summon her." He then pouted, "Though I wish I could have seen her like Reyna does..."

"You probably will when you're older," Reyna giggled, teasing her brother a bit, "At least you can still talk to her..."

"What are you guys talking about," Osamu asked, amused as the Yuki siblings' talks, "They're just cards; I don't understand how you can hear them..."

Reyna was about to explain the whole thing to her friend, but then she and Jaden heard Yubel's voice... but instead of the kind voice that spurred Jaden on to do his best, they heard an angry, vengeful voice...

"HOW DARE YOU!?" Yubel screamed as her spirit's eyes flashed towards Osamu, stunning him for a bit before he fell to the ground unconscious.

The Yuki siblings gasped as they ran to their fallen friend and tried to shake him awake.

(End Flashback)

"And it got to the point where it kept happening to more people who played Jaden," Reyna continued her explanation, "I was the only one willing to play with him, and I never tried to destroy Yubel because I wanted play with Jaden and her plus bond with her more. But if anyone else got near Jaden, she would put them in a coma. The doctors would just say each of them was healthy and exhausted, but I knew better. It was like Yubel viewed anyone that threatened her bond with Jaden and denied her summoning." She then looked worried, "Even if he had me around to play with him, Jaden felt awful because of Yubel's actions..."

"Did he do something about it?" Yuri asked, as she held Kylie for comfort, "I mean he was upbeat when we all met him."

"Yeah, and it involved the Neos cards," Reyna replied, "Around the time we started to play with the Elemental Hero cards, Jaden submitted the Neo-Spacians with Elemental Hero Neos as his first drawing for a Create-A Card Contest submitted by Industrial Illusions. And since it was sponsored by Kaiba Corporation, they were going to put the winning cards into space and into a cosmic energy source. Not wanting Yubel to hurt anyone again, Jaden wanted her card to go through the same thing and hoped she would lose her harsh ways." Reyna looked grim, "But it looks like she gotten worse... I wonder what went wrong. I mean, she sounded completely obsessed and deranged. She enjoyed putting Jaden through so much and even got furious when Jesse said that Allyson was his girlfriend."

"But then... How were you unaffected by Yubel?" Atticus asked.

"I was her friend as well," the Slifer girl explained, "Plus I was kind of her link to Jaden after all..."

"So then..." Kenji began to speak, "Yubel was a threat to everyone but family while Trageodia was a complete threat until now."

"Kenji!" Alexis scolded, snapping her boyfriend out of his reverie. They both looked to Claudio who just now had a blank stare at the ground.

"But it does say a lot," Crystal sighed, "Jesse and Allyson are now in those spirits' clutches and they'll probably use them to get to Jaden and Claudio. They won't kill them if that's what everyone is worried about." She then smiled, "Besides, those two have the Rainbow Dragon watching their backs! And from what I hear, it's a powerful Spirit to take down in its own right. I'd say Yubel and Trageodia are in for a fight."

Kenji laughed, "Of course! Not to mention the other Crystal Beasts will back them up! All they have to do is evade them long enough for Rainbow Dragon to open another portal to bring the both of them home and we can get on with the year!"

Tetsu then smiled, "And hopefully we can get to Adrian as well, since he didn't come back." But then he thought back to what Echo kept saying during her encounters

(Flashback)

"By why would you not want Adrian back here?" Tetsu asked, "I mean from how you talked about him, I'd say you two were..."

"I'll tell you why," She interrupted, "Adrian destined for great things, and he won't be able to achieve them if he comes back into this world! He'll never be truly happy, even with his best friend by his side. It's better off this way."

"Why would you think that?" Pegasus asked. "There's nothing wrong..."

"There is! If Adrian comes back, nothing will ever change for the better!"

"Huh?" Tetsu wondered.

"Adrian is a born leader," Echo explained, "But now he's just a servant, not a son, to the Gecko Financial Group. A flunky to his younger brother, the biological son... Adrian has it all; courage, intelligence, and the drive to see his destiny through... He has value, but he doesn't want to take advantage of the fact that he should be the heir to the Gecko Financial Group, not his brother! And just think, he has the power to rule the entire world and lead it to a great future!"

There was a pregnant pause as everyone took in what Echo said about her friend.

"Okay..." Tetsu spoke up, "I was with you until that last part."

"Of course you wouldn't think so," She sneered at him, "Adrian told me that you're brilliant... but also lazy... if it wasn't for that last part, you could be a great man like him. In fact, I can actually see Adrian in you." Tetsu raised an eyebrow at that, "All the things he has going for him, yet he steps down when people tells him to. People like his family. They tell to go to great lengths and he asks for nothing in return. If he never takes control, he'll always be overlooked. He needs to look out for himself first otherwise he'll always be second rate. Once his brother was sick, and he could have died if it weren't for Adrian since he was the only person that could figure out what was wrong. But no one else but me would listen."

"I would save my family, too." Tetsu admitted.

"But think about it," Echo interjected, "If Adrian had done nothing, he would be the heir, he would be best for the company!" She looked at Tetsu, "If he continues to go on through this, he would end up like you; his own worst enemy!"

"Whoa! Whoa!" the East Academy student shouted, raising his hands in defense, "When did this become about me and Adrian?"

"It's not about you!"

"Then leave me out of this! As for Adrian, it's his decision to do all this for his family. Sure I'm upset that he had everything taken from him even when I KNOW he has the potential, but look at the bigger picture here." He said, shaking his fist to control hidden rage. "If we don't get that tablet back, many people will be gone forever and Venom will eventually win!"

"And if I destroy this tablet, I can ensure that Adrian will have a better life!" Echo protested, "Why won't you understand!? If you were truly his friend, you would let this happen!"

"I am..." Tetsu sighed but then glared back at Echo. "Which is why I have to do... THIS!" Quickly, the video game duelist took off his disk and flung it at Echo, taking her by surprise as it hit the hand she held the controller. Once dropped, Seth leaped into action and restrained her to ground.

Tetsu just stared blankly for a bit and then uncovered his hand to look at his coin... heads. That result caused Samurai to push Driven Daredevil back to Echo's side and knocked him down to one knee, "One individual's opinion," He said, in response to his opponent's statement, "But I can say the same for you..."

"What's that supposed to mean!?" Echo shouted, which also grabbed Seth's attention.

"The same as me leaving this next move on a coin flip is the same way you used when decided to ally yourself with Venom!" Tetsu stated. "Think about it; when Ileana released you, you had two choices to make. You could have just escaped and left Adrian to decide on his own fate, or the choice you made now, which would condemn hundreds of people to a world where they wouldn't last long. As smart as Adrian is, he shouldn't have to make the major sacrifices like this. And as smart as you are, you're better than this!"

"Shut up!"

"The reality is this: you say you're doing this for the sake of the world by making Adrian and the rest of the students stay for him to rule, but it's truly because you love Adrian... right!?" Echo fell silent but still glared back, "You place so much on one person much to the point of near worship, and has never noticed you in that light. You'll do anything to get noticed by the one you love, but you can't get that satisfaction."

"Stop it! Stop it now!" Echo shouted and protested at the same time.

"It's just like the mythological story Ekho who was cursed to do nothing but mimic the voice of others. She cried herself to death because the man she loved didn't make the effort to return the feeling, until all that was left was her voice." Tetsu pointed at Echo, "You devoted yourself to nothing!" He then scoffed, "It's sad that a friend of mine is probably doing something that can actually damage us all if your idea of his prophecy comes to light..."

"YOU KNOW NOTHING!" Echo snapped, "Once this duel is over, I'll make sure to shut you up! How dare you talk about Adrian that way!? You have no right!"

"I have the right," Tetsu shouted, startling her. In a calmer voice, he continued, "But let me finish with this; if Adrian decides to do anything that involves killing others on his way to the top, you can be sure that I will stop him. He already has a favorable impression since he didn't let his brother die; he shows that he has compassion for others but if he steps over the line..."

"You don't have the power to stop him!"

"Then let's test that if it comes to ahead," Tetsu announced.

(End Flashback)

'But if he's trying to find something to give him power to rule with an iron fist, I gotta stop him,' Tetsu thought.

Outside the dorm, Aster and Masaki had been eavesdropping on the crew that came back from the alternate dimension. What he found out was enlightening as if he knew about it.

"So the Destiny Heroes weren't the only ones touched by the cosmic energies," Aster said to himself, "Yubel was and I bet it had to be the Light of Destruction from what I know." He them smirked. "Very interesting..."

"Interesting," Masaki noted, "If the Light of Destruction did this, that means Brightveil could have had several backup plans just in case one little piece got destroyed. I just hope she doesn't comeback through Yubel..."

Suddenly, the Hero Duelists heard some footsteps approaching from the other side and found Zane looking back at him. "Hey there..."

"You two wouldn't happen to be interested in that Yubel spirit, would you?" the Cyber-Style duelist asked.

"Of course not," Aster smiled back, "Just wanted to know what they've been hiding from us."

"Yeah, back after some harsh times in other dimensions and they hold up in the Slifer Dorm," Masaki added, playing alone, "We need details... I guess they were darker than we thought..."

"I agree," Zane replied. He then grunted in pain, clutching his chest hard where his heart was.

"You cool bro?" Masaki asked.

"I'm fine," Zane said, recovering from his pain.

"Like I care," Aster waved off, turning away from him.

Even so, Zane had smirked, 'Yubel will be a perfect opponent for me and my new, improved deck!'

(Later that night)

Inside his room Jaden was in his bed with the lights off, tossing and turning every second.

"It's my fault," Jaden sulked, "I had her sent into space, not knowing she would be the same as Neos! I should have gotten rid of her when it was just one person affected! Now Allyson and Jesse are gone and it's because of me!" He then started punching his bed in his self-loathing and inability to change what happened before he exhausted himself. "I just wish I could make things right..."

"Kuri!"

Suddenly, he heard Winged Kuriboh's call and saw it come through his wall. It let out of series of calls and squeaks, speaking to Jaden who understood everything the small monster said.

"Are you serious!?" Jaden shouted, "Where is it!?"

Outside the Slifer Dorm, Bradshaw and Kairi were making their way over to the Rec Room. After their ordeal with the Venom organization and not hearing from the others that came back from the alternate dimension, they decided to get some answers.

"Don't you think we should wait until morning?" Bradshaw asked.

"It can't wait," Kairi replied, "They've been too secretive since returning, and even those from Ra and Obelisk never returned to the dorm. We need to find out what happened before they got back here."

"About what," Both of the Hawkings siblings turned to see Kurogasa, Mikoto, and Vincent staring back at them.

"Hey, what happened to Jaden and Claudio," Kairi asked the two, "They both looked saddened and terrified."

Kurogasa sighed, "Well, you know that Jesse and Allyson are gone right..."

"They never came back," Bradshaw gasped, "But why?"

Soon, they heard one of the doors opened and saw Jaden run out with a backpack full of supplies and provisions and went down the stairs, into the woods.

"I guess we need to hear it from the source," the Gladiator Beast duelist noted as the Ally of Justice nodded and followed after the Slifer.

Mikoto looked worried at the three retreating figures, "Shouldn't we follow them and make sure Jaden's alright?"

"Yeah, I mean we need to make sure he's not bothered too much," the Dragunity duelist agreed as they followed after the Hawkings siblings. "What Jaden's going through, I wish that on no one..."

At the same time, Bastion had run into the Slifer Dorm and alerted everyone inside recreation room. "You guys, I have some news from Eisenstein!" While everyone was stepping up from their seats, Claudio was still sulking on the couch. "There's another portal through dimensions at the Gravekeeper Ruins!"

Everyone gasped as they heard the news, "Oh man, I can't believe this school's about to go through another portal!" Syrus cringed.

"No, it's smaller this time," Bastion elaborated, "its only big enough for people to go through it themselves. But it may lead to where the Andersons are located, so we can bring them back home."

"Hey that's great," Hassleberry grinned, "So, I guess the Sarge wants to hear about this! We can charge in and get those two back."

"And then Jaden will get a smile back on his face," Reyna stated, "Let's go get him!"

Pretty soon, the group went to Jaden's room and found it wide open and empty. Syrus looked inside the small room and came back with...

"You guys, Jaden's gone!" He shouted, causing everyone to look shocked and confused.

"But where could he be," Hassleberry asked.

Reyna gasped, "Wait, you think he could have been around to hear Bastion talk about that dimensional rip?"

"He couldn't have," Bastion replied, "I would have noticed."

"I did..." Everyone turned to see Chazz and Sam at the doorway. Those who could see spirits saw the Ojamas floating around Chazz's head as he explained, "I saw him run into the woods, but I didn't know why until the Ojamas told me that Winged Kuriboh was leading him somewhere."

"I saw the look of determination on his face," Sam added. "Like he had to do something..."

Bastion gasped, "That means Jaden's spirit told him about the dimensional rip! We have to stop him; we don't know where that portal leads!" With that, the group ran to the direction of the Gravekeeper Ruins.

Flying overseas, KaibaCorp's security helicopters were transporting Ileana and Echo in separate vehicles while Seth's led the convoy back to the city. Inside the third, Echo looked back at the retreating form of Duel Academy. While detained, she remembered that Adrian Gecko was one of the people left behind and that left a smile on her face...

'I knew you'd stay behind, Adrian,' She thought happily, 'I know you can rule that other dimension and more; and I want to see you do this...' She then opened the palm of her right hand, revealing a small key and used it to unlock her cuffs...

Seth stayed on course with his convoy, making sure the prisoners would face justice for endangering lives. It was going good, until he heard some static coming in from his headset.

[Sir! The prisoner's escaped!] The pilot from Helicopter 3 shouted, along with several shouts and hits coming into the sounds. Seth quickly turned to the helicopter in question, just in time to see the pilot being flung out and into the water. Echo stared back defiantly before shutting the copter door and proceeded to fly back to Duel Academy.

Seth growled as he turned the dispatch back on, "Chopper 2, this is Chopper 1! Head back to the city with Ileana Viper! I'm going back to get that woman; I can't have her trying to hurt anyone at that island."

[Yes sir!] Pilot 2 acknowledged and continued on his way. Seth turned his copter around and gave chase to the Gecko Financial Group operative, determined to chase the woman down...

At the Gravekeeper Ruins, Winged Kuriboh led Jaden to its historic lands and pointed to a clearing in the stones. A glowing dimensional rip was shown and it was small enough for a person to go through. Hanging nearby, Zane, Aster, and Masaki were watching the Slifer stare down the dimensional gate.

"Of course he would come here," Masaki said, shrugging his shoulders, "He's still distraught."

"And he's going in alone," Aster wondered, "What's the deal?"

"He still doesn't get it," Zane stated, as the Hero Duelists looked to him, "Jaden's actions have earned him responsibilities; and I don't mean rescuing Jesse and Allyson."

The S-Hero duelist gasped, "They're coming after him, aren't they?"

"Would you sit still knowing that a friend is going into possible death alone?" the Cyber duelist asked, not receiving a response. "Exactly..."

He looked inside it with determination.

"Hang on Allyson and Jesse," Jaden said to himself, "I'll rescue you and stop Yubel."

"And you plan on doing that while alone?" Jaden gasped as he turned around to see Kurogasa, Mikoto, and Vincent standing behind. "Not exactly the best thing to do..." Mikoto said.

"I should do this alone," Jaden protested, "I got Allyson and Jesse into this mess, so it makes sense that I should do this by myself."

"And in your state, you'll get yourself in the mercy of those monsters if you're too careless," Kurogasa explained, "Or worse, you could be killed!"

"Also, I don't think Reyna would want her big brother killed if he charges in," Vincent added.

"You won't even know what to expect in there!" This time, they turned to see Bastion shouting along with Melody, Reyna, Alexis, Kenji, Syrus, Hassleberry, Chazz, Sam, Atticus, Axel, Fidel, Tetsu, Jim, Yuri, and Crystal. "This is not the same location that transported Duel Academy to that desert dimension; you won't know what to expect."

"But also know that Allyson and Jesse had to be transported to another since they had Rainbow Dragon," Jaden continued. "I just need to find which dimension they are in and rescue them from Yubel."

"Then you'll definitely need my help," Claudio stepped up to the Slifer, "You must have forgotten that Tragoedia is in league with Yubel, and I got to put a stop to him. It's a much my fault as it is yours."

"But what about the others," the Slifer said, "I can't get them involved."

"We're here to make sure you don't do anything reckless," Reyna stated, "You're too distraught over losing them." She sighed, "I told them about your history with Yubel."

"Why!?"

"We were worried, man," Atticus stated, "You're more upbeat than most, now you're going into serious mode. I totally get why, but if you're doing it alone..."

"You might charge in without thinking," Axel finished, "If he is captured, there's bound to be armies of monsters guarding and if you read up on their back-stories they'll be pretty organized."

"We're comrades now," Fidel smiled, "You tried to watch our backs and we'll have to watch yours."

"And you'll need a team of your own," Kenji figured, "And what better team than us?"

"We know that monsters will be real, so our decks will be ready for them," Alexis smiled.

"Isn't that what friends are for, mates?" Jim asked.

"Friends or not, I'm still going in," Chazz stated, "We're all here for the same reason."

"That's reason enough for us to stand by your side," Yuri added.

"Not to mention Jesse's my friend, too," Crystal stated, "I'm not going to let him or Allyson suffer wherever they are."

Aster, Masaki, and Zane watched the scene unfold...

"If one moves, they all move," Aster declared. "They won't let each other down..."

"The only person who doesn't know it is Jaden..." Masaki added.

"Kuri!" Winged Kuriboh called out, getting Jaden's attention. He turned to see the dimensional rip warping in and out.

"The portal's becoming unstable," Bastion said as he took notice, "We don't know where we'll end up if we go in!"

"Then what do you suppose we do?" Axel asked, getting in his face.

Feeling intimidated, the intellectual duelist started checking up on his Duel Pilot until he found a solution. "We're surrounded by Duel Energy thanks to that dimensional rip. We can call out monsters and use them to sustain it."

Hassleberry grinned, "That's what we gotta do!"

Soon, everyone got into position around the dimensional rip and held out certain cards to play out. Once ready...

"I summon Elemental Hero Neos!" Jaden called.

"Rock on! Jukebox Hero Roadie Riggs!" Claudio shouted.

"I bring out the Dark Magician Girl!" Melody called.

"Elemental Hero Terra Firma!" Reyna called out.

"Jurrac Titano!" Hassleberry shouted.

"Cyber Tutu!" Alexis announced.

"Ninja Hayabusa!" Kenji called out.

"Ojama King!" Chazz shouted.

"Red-Eyes Black Dragon!" Atticus announced.

"Scout of the Moon!" Crystal called out.

"Haos Omega Leondias!" Kurogasa called out.

"Dragunity Gae Bulg!" Vincent continued.

"Neo Flamvell Dragon!" Mikoto shouted.

Using the power of the dimensional gateway's energy, all of the monsters called out by the duelists had assembled in front of them and in the flesh. With a glare toward the gateway, Jaden declared, "Allyson, Jesse! We're coming to save you!"

"Aim your powers at the portal!" Everyone shouted as the monsters fired their spiritual energies at the portal, trying to pry it open. Zane, Aster, and Masaki watched in awe as they saw the portal being widened and created as a towering light.

"Wow they did it," Aster whispered.

"This is incredible," Masaki added.

"What will be the outcome?" Zane wondered.

"We did it!" Reyna shouted as she saw the portal.

"It's so big," Syrus said in awe.

Suddenly, the portal started to widen and then engulf the duelists inside, causing them to scream. But they were not the only ones; the spread continued, bringing in Zane, Aster, and Masaki as they couldn't escape.

"Hey what's that light!?"

Kairi and Bradshaw were traversing through the ruins, getting lost from chasing Jaden. They were able to find their way and get there in time to hear Jaden trying to go through the portal himself... But the brother/sister duo happened to be caught in the crossfire as well.

"Adrian, I'm coming!"

Echo flew her helicopter into the expanding portal, never showing fear for her resolve to see Adrian's rise to power.

"What the Hell!?"

Seth Scrapper, hot on her trail, ended up flying his helicopter into the portal as well trying to chase after the woman.

Everyone caught up in the portal were now falling into dimensions unknown, and only the dimensions would know where each of them would end up.

Oh man, non-dueling chapters are a pain in the brain to create since it was all dialogue and story. Hopefully, I know what I'm doing. And sorry to those whose characters are not going to appear in the next arc, but season 4 has gotten everyone's character's names written all of it.

Next Time: Where has everyone ended up? Why don't we start with Jaden and the people with him?

Please Read and Review! Later!
