Chp 36

The moonlight was once again darkened when once more, a black portal appeared on the sky, followed by a high-pitch screaming.

"Kyaaaahhhhh!~" 'THUD!' the familiar figure landed about 100 feet from young-Tsuna's right side. It amazed him how that person managed to stand up despite of falling from 30 metres height. That person lifted her chin, looking up to the closing black portal and judging from her loud, angry voice, Tsuna knew she was just fine.

"DAMN IT, ALEJANDRO! I TOLD YOU NOT TO FUCKING TOUCH THE NAVIGATOR! YOU FUCKED UP MY DROP OFF-COORDINATES, YOU LITTLE SHIT!"

"Mi dispiace, Tsukiko…" another voice replied apologetically.

"Gezz, she's as noisy just like her mother, that girl!" the same voice complained afterwards.

"I HEARD THAT, ZOMBIE!" the younger twin was grunting in anger when the portal diminished from her sight. She looked around and noticed that she was the center of the attention now.

"There goes my chance of making a cool entrance. Tch! Stupid zombie! Why can't you be a good-looking zombie like R in Warm bodies or something?"

"Nana-san was right when she told us her daughter always cheating death. Anyone could have died if they fell off from that kind of height…" Haruka made his remarks.

"Just how on earth she could do that?" he looked at Reborn for explanation.

The hitman shrugged. "she only told me that she was taught certain technique by Alaude when she was younger. That… and she also have relatively thick skull"

"The Vongola and their genetic makeup are never ceased to amaze me…" Byakuran whistled in admiration. Maybe, he should have asked Shoichi to swab some cells from Tsuna when he was unconscious before. Who knew they might have another breakthrough in science by analyzing the Vongola's genes.

"H-Hime-chii?" Tsuna was somehow relieved when he knew Tsukiko's now by his side and alive. Instead of looking back at her brother, the younger twin's eyes was fixated on her mother and she didn't like a bit when she saw the enemy was hurting her.

"I see you still haven't manage to beat him to pulp yet, Tsu-kun. And I don't blame you if Okaa-san got involved in this. She have been quiet for too long, trying to not get involved in our problems. She just reached her limit and her motherly-instinct kicks in, I guess…" Tsukiko made her deductions of what's going on by observing the scene before her. She flinched when she saw the creepy-excitement… and relief in the adult-Tsuna's eyes. It couldn't be help that she felt disgusted when she saw such reaction from him when he looked at her.

"T-Tsuki… you're here. You're alive… I don't want to admit this, but that brat was right" he said in happy tone in his voice, despite of holding Nana's life in his hand. His eyes narrowed when he mentioned Tsuna in his speech.

"I know you'll return to me…"

"Eiuww…" Tsukiko spit her disgust out as if it was a reflex. She stretched her right hand and the Dolore's heirloom's ring ignited in mist flame. Soon enough, a sniper rifle materialized in her hand. She prepared the rifle with the deadly end was pointed to the opposite way.

Tsuna was almost died of heart attack when he saw the pointer laser was pointed to his mother's right leg, instead of the opponent's head.

"If you're going to aim, aim right, damn it! This is not your usual playtime. This is serious!" Tsuna scolded his sister, thinking that she was fooling around.

"I'm so hurt with your words, Tsu-kun. I never thought of fooling around when I know Okaa-san is in danger…" She replied monotonously while still aiming her target, Tsukiko didn't look anywhere other than through her target's scope. She clicked her tongue when she re-assessed the circumstances. The rifle was lowered to her side.

"this is no good at all. I was testing him and it turned out, he didn't plan to run away after all. If he die, he will take Okaa-san with him too, that's for sure…" the rifle then vaporized in thin air without even being used once.

Somehow, Tsukiko's reasoning was making sense. There was few ways they could save their mother and that was depending on which situation they're in. Situation number one is if their opponent was planning to use her as hostage to run away. Tsukiko could prevent that by injuring their mother. Injured hostage means extra baggage, so the psycho wouldn't need her anymore. However, it's no use if the younger twin shoot her when the enemy didn't plan to run away at all and this was the exact situation they are facing right now.

"Unless we could offer him something equivalent that will make him willingly give up Okaa-san…"

Tsuna's eyes widen when he heard his sister whispered those words.

"Over my dead body, Hime-chii! Don't you ever think of doing that! Okaa-san would never agree with that as well…"

"What do you mean by that?" Tsukiko looked confused. Clearly not knowing what her brother was talking about. She was only tried to figure out about the equivalent bargaining chip for those kind of deal. Why Tsuna would be too worked up over such things?

Tsuna let out of relieve sigh. So, apparently Tsukiko doesn't know anything about 'that'. He was scared shitless when he thought Tsukiko would gave herself up to that man just now. In this situation somehow, negotiation was a better option.

"Tell me what do you want, Sawada-san…" Tsuna breaks the silence by asking him first. "money? Spare your life? What are your conditions?"

"What I want?" the mad man scoffed. "all I want is my lover back and you… dead!"

Disagreements simultaneously erupted when they heard the absurd conditions.

"You can have that Bakahime but there is no way we would allow Juudaime to die!"

"That's absurd! No one would listen to irrational things like that! Hime-chan and Tsuna belongs to the Vongola!"

"That's right! Don't expect us to give up the future of our world! That's stupid!"

"There is no way you could bring the dead back to life. Leave Ki-chan out of this!"

Tsukiko pinched the bridge of her nose. What kind of nonsense are the boys spouting about? The condition was 'he want his lover back' and 'Tsuna to be dead', what she has to do in this conversation?

"I'm sorry, but I couldn't fulfilled either of your conditions, Sawada-san. My friends are right. I do that and that will be the end of Vongola's future…" Tsuna replied almost instantly.

"Fine! Let's listen to Tsuki's opinion in this…" the adult retorted back. Tsuna felt a little bit relieved when he saw the gripping was a little bit loosen around Nana's neck. However, she was already too weak to move.

"Well, I cannot let my brother die, that's for sure. But that lover of yours, was she really worth it for you to hurt our mother like that?"

Her cluelessness made everyone face palmed. Of course she knows nothing. Somehow, they really anticipated her reaction when she knew the truth. No matter how serious the situation is, they were pretty sure her reaction would be priceless.

Even the adult-Tsuna looked dumbfounded with her question.

"That depends… do you think you are worth of Okaa-san's life?"

"Huh?" Tsukiko scratched her scalp as she was trying to connect all the dots. Sudden realization hit her hard when she was done. "HAH?!"

Yup, her reaction is hilarious, the rest thought. Her face was epically revealing her shock as well as disgusted look and somehow, she looked funny.

"W-what? Oh my god! That's disgusting, man! I would never thought of becoming Tsu-kun's girlfriend let alone fucking him! For crying out loud, Tsu-kun is my twin!"

"Why do you kept saying that, Tsuki?"

Hearing such 'rejection', adult-Tsuna's palm once again choking Nana's neck even harder, preventing oxygen from entering her lungs. Her pale face slowly turning blue indicating the lack of oxygen in her system. Few more minutes and Nana would be a goner.

Both twins were clearly panicking inside and out as they realized the consequences if this continues. There is no way they would lose their mother over something like this. Both of them were already clueless of what to do. They could just attack him, but there will be no guaranteed that their action will save Nana's life.

"NO! I beg of you. Let go of Okaa-san!" Tsukiko yelled, tears welling up in her hazel eyes. The younger twin was very concern of her mother's life right now. This isn't right. Her mother shouldn't die because of this. Not in that bastard's hands. Not in front of her. She turned her head, looking at her dumbfounded brother.

"TSU-KUN, DO SOMETHING!"

Tsukiko's loud voice pulled the older twin from his trance of thought. He seriously don't know what to do. This was supposed to be his fight. Why does his mother have to get involved in this?! This is stupid. Why his mother should got dragged in this situation? He looked helplessly at Nana, who was on verge of dying. He wanted to move, but he felt like his feet was planted to the solid ground.

"TSU-KUN!" his sister's voice was pushing him, desperately telling him not to give in too early.

The four of them were standing at three different point, about 50 feet from each other. The rest of the fighters were all in doubt, either they want to launch a simultaneous attacks or waited for Tsuna's action. Either way, they were concerned and feared for Nana's life.

"LET GO OF HER, DAMN IT!" finally, Tsuna could projected his voice. He took a step forward. However, his action had made the psychotic man become aggressive as he pulled Nana's hair, while his other hand was still choking the former assassin's neck even harder.

"OKAA-SAN!" both twins shouted when they noticed Nana had become weaker.

"uh-ah… one more step, Sawada-kun and bye-bye, Okaa-san…" warned the mad man, while that spine-chilling smile on his face.

Honest to god, Tsuna don't know what to do and the younger twin noticed this. Damn it, Reborn should have work with him about his decision making skills, especially in this kind of pressuring situation. He couldn't think of anything at all, she knew that.

'Argh! How I wish Giotto and Ricardo is here! Where the fuck are they when I needed them the most?!' Tsukiko groaned in annoyance. Something might've happened that had prevented them from appearing. Her mother's whimpering pulled her back to reality. It was painful. It was really painful to see her mother in agony. Once again. She looked at her brother. Tsuna looked so exhausted. Exhausted… his physical and his flame as well. Once again, the older twin called for their mother desperately and tried to take another step forward. By instinct, a gun materialized in her hand and she shoot the ground near Tsuna's feet.

The young Decimo certainly was startled by his sister's action. Both twins were exchanging look, trying to telepathically conversing while at the sidelines, they could hear the rest of Vongola teens' angry shouting because of her drastic measure towards the older twin.

Tsuki raised her index finger on her left hand, her eyes was giving her brother a hard warning, while her right hand was still pointing her gun towards the older-brunette.

"Don't take another step, Tsu-kun…" her lips were quivering, telling Tsuna that she honestly didn't meant to hurt him.

The twins stared at each other for a long minute. Tsuna could clearly see the barrel of his sister's gun shaking rapidly, yet it slowly subsided indicating that she become calmer. It took a while, but finally Tsuna could understand the meaning behind her action. That was the signal, was it? His face turn pale. His sister will definitely taking the dire measure to overcome this situation. He wasn't even sure if he was ready.

From his eyes, Tsukiko instantly knew Tsuna wasn't agreeing with her plan, but in contrary of Tsuna's lack of action, her plan is definitely a something. But, their mother's life is in jeopardy and she would never take a 'no' as an answer. Her brother doesn't have a choice but to suck it up this time. He is ready and she knew it!

"Good job, my dear Tsuki. You never ceased to amaze me, my love…" said the adult proudly.

"Let Okaa-san go and I will do anything for you…" Tsukiko offered him a deal of a lifetime.

The adult-Tsuna's eyes widen in anticipation. He wouldn't expect that this Tsukiko would submit to him so easily. After all, she was different and not to mentioned that she admitted herself that she would never consider her brother to become her lover. He wondered if he could trust her? No, he needed more proof of her loyalty towards him.

"Tempting offer, I'd say, Tsukiko. Of course, I would let Okaa-san go. But in order for us to achieve that, I want you to make sure that, there will be only three of us in the future…"

Understanding behind the mad man's words, Gokudera gawked at the younger twin in disbelief. He saw the younger twin slowly raised her illusionary gun that almost resembled Xanxus's X-guns, towards Tsuna. The gun started to glow in bright, viscous amber flames and her finger was more than ready to pull the trigger.

"No… NO, YOU WOULDN'T! DON'T DO IT!"

'BANG!' the shooting sound resounded the Millefiore's estate and within second, Tsuna was consumed in his own sister's wrath flame, lying motionlessly on the ground.

"NO!" The Vongola teens simultaneously yelled in despair. They was about to run towards their leader when they saw Tsukiko was pointing her gun towards them now.

"Don't fucking move, you little shits!" she warns them desperately, still with her gun aiming towards the crowd, she approached the mad adult and her mother. Seeing the act of loyalty, the adult let go of half-dying Nana and the younger twin ran to her in top speed.

"Okaa-san!" she quickly enveloped the midnight assassin into her warm hugs. Nana's shivering hand reached for Tsukiko's cheek and she smiled at her before she passed out. Tsukiko grabbed her mother's limp hand and checked for her pulse. She sighed in relieve when she could detect a weak, yet constant beating of pulse.

'Thank goodness, Okaa-san' Tsukiko shut her eyes, hugging her mother even tighter.

"Well, well… aren't you glad that Okaa-san is still alive?" oh how Tsukiko hate hearing that snob's voice. She could feel that his pair of dirty hands about to touch her. Swiftly, she raised her gun and aimed it towards the opponent.

"You fucker! Don't you dare touch me with your filthy hands! The only future that you shall have is being buried six feet under, you prick!" without hesitation, she pulled her trigger once more and release a loaded amount of her concentrated wrath flame.

Luckily for the opponent, he managed to evade the point blank attack barely by leaping backwards. He could see that Tsukiko and her mother was beyond of his reach when the brunette girl was taking all of her strength and carried her mother to the crowd.

"You stupid woman! What do you think you're doing shooting Juudaime!" Gokudera was the first one to bash at the younger twin when she reached them.

"I understand you wanted to save Mama-san, but hurting Juudaime was never an option!"

Ignoring Gokudera's ranting, she looked straight at the SMI-veterans.

"Hideki-jii, Haruka-jii… I beg of you, get Okaa-san away from here and treat her wound as soon as possible. She's getting weaker every seconds…" pleads the younger twin. Without hesitation, the pair took Nana away from Tsukiko. Seeing the female-brunette was kneeling on the ground, breathing heavily, Reborn stepped forward. His hands gripped the teen's shoulders and slowly, he met her hazel eyes. She was fine a minute ago, what makes her this tired? That was the hitman's thought.

'unless…' sudden realization hit him when the exhausted younger twin collapsed in his arms all of sudden. His eyes were wildly scanning around and it turned out, his assumption was right after all.

Realizing the hitman's reaction, the adult-Tsuna did the same and to his surprise, the unconscious teen-Tsuna was no longer at his position.

"X-Burner: Air!" the adult looked up only to see a stream of sky flame made its way towards him. He quickly rolled away from his position, evading the sudden attack.

'BOOM!' the ground exploded upon the contact with the flame. The dusts polluted the air, decreasing his ability to see his surroundings. However, he could see a faint light of a flame. As the air cleared away, the faint light becomes brighter and soon, it revealed that the bearer of the sky flame was none other than the teenager Sawada Tsunayoshi.

"B-But how?!" the adult said in disbelief. Tsuna was there, floating in the air. Not to mentioned that, that boy was about to collapse from flame exhaustion before, but here he is in full power. As if someone had injected him with extra flame. Then, the event when Tsukiko shot her brother came back to his mind.

Noticing that stunned look, Tsuna smirked at this.

"I see you had figured it out, huh Sawada-san?"

Reborn, on the other hand, was equally surprised as well. Here he thought Tsuna wasn't ready to master that technique, but he was proven wrong. His student just went ahead of him and mastered it. Not only that, he improvised that technique and make it as his own. Who would ever thought of absorbing someone's flame and convert it to their own? He looked back at the sleeping younger twin in his arms. Figures why she was so beat up. There she goes stupidly transferring almost all of her sky flame in her reserve to her brother. Fortunately, small amount of her mist flame was still inside her or else, she could literally die because of flame deprivation. He really need to drill the fact that the one's flame is equivalent to one's life force into her head later on.

"I see… That wasn't an attack all, huh Dame-Tsuki. It was a 'contribution'…" these dame-futago never ceased to amaze him, Reborn sighed.

"Y-you mean, Tsuki-chan didn't mean to attack Sawada-kun at all?" ask Aria curiously.

"She always acting idiotically, but she's never that stupid. Tsukiko always had everything planned. Always. That's one of her top quality…" Reborn replied.

The psycho-adult overheard the hitman's reply, making him gawked at him suspiciously. Was Tsukiko's 'contribution' the reason why the teen-Tsuna is still standing? Just how much about this universe that he didn't know about.

"Trust me, I wasn't sure if I was ready at first… but Hime-chii always knows the best of me. Although, this is the first time I succeed…" Tsuna explained, answering the question in both adults' head.

"So what if you have some energy boost? Does not mean that you could defeat me!" adult-Tsuna retorted back.

"Oh, I could and I will defeat you, Sawada-san. My sister gave me almost everything that she got, it will be such a waste if I take her effort for granted. I'll return her the favour by defeating you"

"Tch! As if y-…" The adult's eyes widen when all of sudden, the teen brunette's fist was already few centimetre from his face. With single, fiery punch, the crazy man was lying on the ground, his brain trying to process what the hell happened just now.

"As Gamma had said, less talking more fighting. STAND UP!" Tsuna get back to his stance, waiting patiently for his opponent to get back on his feet. He knew he shouldn't waste any more precious time. This should end and it should end… NOW.

Reborn wanted to focus on his student's fight, yet unconscious-Tsukiko in his arms distracted him and Yuni noticed this.

"Can we just get Tsuki-san to the infirmary or something?" it would be after all, if in some way, they might get involved into the fight as well, Tsukiko would be a hindrance. Might as well get her to somewhere safe before anything happened to her.

But the hitman couldn't leave just yet. He needs to see how Tsuna would handle this. Byakuran somehow, was agreeing with his little cousin and offered himself to bring Tsukiko to the infirmary.

The hitman-tutor was quiet skeptical to just hand his student to the suspicious boss of Millefiore. If he was Haruka or Hideki, he might just trusted those men unconditionally, but definitely not this young man before him.

Noticing the weird look given by the tutor, Byakuran let out a small laugh.

"Yuni-chan will be with me the whole time, I can assure nothing will happen to Tsuki-chan…"

Half-heartedly, Reborn transferred Tsukiko into Byakuran's arms and he easily heaved the girl's petite built.

"You better be sure you will do nothing to her. If anything happen to her, I'll make sure you'll regret to be born in this world. Don't touch her anywhere inappropriate. Don't swab for her cells. Don't perform any ridiculous experiment on her. Don't…"

"I got it. I got it! Take her to infirmary, tuck her in and leave her alone. Geezz, overprotective much, Mr. Hitman?!" Byakuran just couldn't believe his ears. What the hell is wrong with this sun arcobaleno? He's acting like Tsukiko's father or something.

Reborn didn't even bother to replied the albino and shifted his eyes to little Yuni.

"Don't leave Tsuki's side until you are sure Byakuran is 100 feet away from her…"

Yuni just smiled. "I understood, Reborn-Ojiisan…"

He followed the cousins-pair with the corner of his eyes until they disappeared into the mansion. Know that he could trust Yuni, Reborn return to concentrating on the fight before him.

Tsuna was gaining speed, the hitman noticed. His every movement was even sharper than before. It looks like the brunette wouldn't waste his sister's flame after all and that's good honestly. Unfortunately, the adult-Tsuna wasn't showing any signs of weakness as well. They were trading blows and both of them are on equal grounds now. Whether it was supposed to be a good news or not, Reborn could just pray this matter will get over soon. Honestly, he could just shorten this battle and make the victory to Tsuna's side by stepping into this battle, but that would be an insult to Tsukiko and Nana's efforts and Tsuna will never learn of anything from that action. Although, it would be interesting to see the twins fighting against this psycho, but judging from Tsuna's lack of action from before, it was a good call that Tsukiko transferred her flames to him instead of joining in. No Nana in his way and no Tsukiko by his side, from this point onwards, Tsuna will only rely only to his brain and strength to fight his way against that man. If he just stop panicking for a while.

'So, what will you do next, Dame-Tsuna?'

The older twin managed to block another punch that was aimed to him. He landed another nonstop jabs on his opponent's torso up to his throat. A smile grew on his lips when he could hear that melodically sound of broken bones. His flame wasn't just heightened his strength, but apparently increasing his destroying effect as well. So, this is what happened when he absorbed a wrath flame. His sister have an awfully powerful flame, he admitted it. The memory when he saw the adult version of his guardians combining their box animals with their respective weapons, should he try it out as well? But he don't want to hurt Natsu in the process. Will he have enough time for experimenting of something that he wasn't sure of the output? He should or he shouldn't?

Adult-Tsuna fell hard to the ground when his head was hit by the teen's sharp heel. He felt dizzy as he was trying to stand back to his feet. His vision was getting blurred, but he could still see the brunette-teen floating in the air and with calculating look on his face. Just what was he thinking? The teen seems distracted and the adult thought that this might be his chance. Once again, he raised his ignited-palm and stretched it towards the preoccupied teen.

"DIE!"

Tsuna's eyes widen when he finally noticed the incoming stream of wrath flame. What should he do next? Avoid it? Absorb it? No he wouldn't have enough time to do that. He could feel vibration in his pocket.

'GAO!' Tsuna could clearly hear Natsu's voice, as if the feline was giving him his permission to do whatever he wants. Instinctively, he grabbed the small, moving box and injected it with his fiery-ring.

"Open box!"

The lion cub appeared on Tsuna's shoulder, the cowardice was disappeared totally from his behaviour. The flame was getting near.

"Natsu, Cambio forma: modo defensa!" with that single command, Natsu combined itself with Tsuna's glove and a black cloak, resembling Giotto's, appeared out of nowhere.

"Juudaime!" Gokudera was startled when he saw his boss was consumed by the destructive, wrath flame. When the flame disappeared, Gokudera, still in shock yet relieved when he saw his Juudaime was remained unharmed.

Reborn, somehow, satisfied with what he saw. Tsuna was learning and improving, both in decision making and taking action. He eyes were shifted back to the enemy. The psycho was starting to breathe heavily and not to mention, he looked so disappointed. All of sudden, he fell on his knees, looking all exhausted. The hitman could just assume that the enemy had used up almost all of his flame in his reserve and already getting weaker due to blood loss and the internal injury he was suffering right now.

'Time to end this, Dame-Tsuna' Reborn's eyes was fixated on Tsuna, still floating in the air, with one of his hand stretched towards his opponent and the other one stretched behind him. Both hands were releasing sky flame, but with different intensity. Natsu was sitting cosily on his shoulder.

"X-burner!"

The enemy looked up while kneeling on the ground, just staring at the stream of flame hopelessly. Here he was, having broken ribs and concussion, it was even painful to stand up. He was startled when the flame that was aimed towards him was pulled back to the young brunette and in the stead of the flame burst, the fiery punch hit him in the face.

The punch was enough to anchor him to the ground, yet it as strong enough to throw him 50 feet, sliding on the dirt. The crazy man feel nauseated when he tried to get up, only to kneel back to the ground.. Right in front of him, he could see the young man was standing tall, still with his flame igniting brightly. This is his loss, isn't it? But why? Why did he kept him alive when he have the chance to send him off to the underworld?

"Don't put me in the same level as you, Sawada-san. Your life is not even worth to be my winning trophy. Leave and don't appear before me and my family ever again!" said Tsuna, as if he was capable of reading what was on that adult's mind.

Judging of how he is now, adult-Tsuna knew he was not in any way, fit for a battle. For now, he will admit his defeat, but that does not mean he will not claim his victory later on. Slowly, he stands up.

"Y-you'll be sorry for leaving me alive, Sawada-kun…" no matter how limp he is, he left the Millefiore's compound quickly, disappearing inside the nearby woods. The rest of Vongola and Millefiore was trying to go after him, yet restrained by Tsuna.

"Leave him be. With that kind of injury, he wouldn't be walking for long…" all of sudden, everyone noticed Tsuna's uneven breathing before he passed out.

Because of the fuss happening in the room next to hers, Tsukiko regained her consciousness. She looked outside the window and witness the aftermath of the fight. Hearing Gokudera's loud voice, worrying about Tsuna's wellbeing, the female brunette instantly knew that Tsuna was all well and obviously had won the fight. She shut her eyes, try to listening more of the conversation from outside the room.

"I still couldn't believe Tsunayoshi would let go of that bastard so easily…" Mukuro made his remarks.

"Well, Juudaime is not you, Pineapple-head. There must be a reason if Juudaime decided that way…" Gokudera kept defending Tsuna's decision over the matter.

"Either way, I still think Tsuna just made a bad decision…" Lambo's disagreement with Gokudera had erupted another useless argument between them somehow.

In some way, Tsukiko was kind of agreed with Lambo and Mukuro's point of view. No matter how weak the psychotic man had become, he still have the Vongola blood in him. And Vongola are infamous for its descendants for having a strong will power and determination. Gently, Tsukiko slid open the window and jump out, leaving the Millefiore's ground. Clueless of her destination, she summoned out Kin from her box. The tiny fox looked up at her partner and understood her silent command instantly. Following Kin from behind, Tsukiko tracked that adult down from his blood trails. She had a deal to carry out.

*Flashback*

"Are you fucking crazy?! Are you fucking stupid?! Were you born an idiot?! My brother needs me!" it has been five minute since Tsukiko started to scream and shout. She just got distracted for five minutes and the others had disappeared. And when Jagger mentioned that they were on their way to aid her brother, Tsukiko become furious.

"It can't be help. Nana specifically tell me to keep you here. She said, knowing you, you might do something stupid and reckless…" Jagger defended himself. He braced himself, knowing how crazy the descendants of Vongola can become when they lose their mind.

"I don't want to stay here when I know my family are fighting out there. If there is anyone that needed a protection, that person would be Tsu-kun as he is the next head of Vongola. Not me! I'm replaceable but not Tsu-kun, Damn it!" Tsukiko argues.

"And that's exactly why Nana insisted for you to stay here!" Bermuda interjected. Finally, he understand how concern was Nana of her daughter. Once again, the young lady groaned in frustration. Bermuda had heard of Sawada Tsunayoshi and how kind hearted he was. One of the proofs was when he let the Dolore alive when by right, it was okay if he just finished them off. Will he have the gut to finish the parallel-universe trinesette holder that was threatening the balance of their universe? And he knew, the Millefiore would just listen to whatever the young man would say as he is the centre of the alliance family. The order from the boss of Vongola, albeit the boss-in-training, is still absolute and should be obeyed no matter what. The Vendice's boss sighed. It seems like he have to take another precaution.

"You really want to go to where your brother is?" the boss asked in calm manner.

"But, boss…" Knowing his boss is about to make an offer that the girl couldn't reject, Jagger tried to stop him. But seeing the warning glare on his boss's eyes, Jagger look down in submission.

"I would do anything to be on my brother's side, Signore Bermuda…" Tsukiko replied in confident.

"Anything?" Bermuda ask again.

"Anything!" she replied once more. Determination was clear in her voice.

If it was not because of his bandages, both of them might be able to see Bermuda's victorious smirk.

"Very well. Here's the deal…"

*End of Flashback*

Vongola will never back down from their promise, that was one of their principal. A deal is equivalent to promise as well. As a Vongolan herself, Tsukiko held their principal dearly. Not to mention, this is a deal that she made with the Vendice itself. Breaking it means she will be dragged to the bottommost pit of the cellar. Like it or not, she had to do it. She was glad that some of her flame had been replenished. Knowing that she's getting closer to her target, a gun was materializing in her hand and she called Kin back into her box. Soon after, she was standing before the injured-enemy, who was taking shelter under the tree.

"It's painful, isn't it?" Tsukiko asked coldly. "but not as painful as what you had put Okaa-san into…"

"Tsuki…" the man however sounded so happy that he was crawling his way to approach her. However, the younger brunette quickly distant herself from him. The gun was aimed to his head.

"What is the meaning of this, Tsuki? I'm in pain. Help me…" he pleaded.

"It's perfect isn't it? I'm here to put you away from that misery…" slowly, her gun was ignited in flame, getting brighter every second.

Aware that death is coming to his way, the adult let out a small, sad laugh. "Guess this is my karma, huh? I killed you back in my universe and here you are, in this universe, about to take my life…"

"It takes a Vongola to takes out a Vongola, Signore. Any last words?" there was no emotion came out from the usually cheerful girl apparently. Her eyes was clearly detesting the man before her eyes. This is the very man who had hurt her family and friends and… he deserved to die.

"my last words?" The man looked at her with cherishing look as he smiled at her. "I love you, Tsuki…"

Somehow, those words didn't affect her what so ever. She shook her head and scoffed scornfully.

"Rest in hell, Shit head!"

'BANG!'with that single shot, she ended one's life. She feel better. No, she SHOULD feel better, but she didn't feel a bit at peace. Not at all. Tears finally snaking its way down her cheeks. Her face becomes pale as she watched the blood pouring out from her victim's head. He deserved this, Tsukiko tried to convinced herself.

Black portal appeared not far from her and three Vendice officers stepped out from it.

"Well done, Tsukiko. You saved our universe… the balance is finally restored" Bermuda compliments her. He feels glad that he made a right choice by making a deal with the young Vongola, knowing that his prediction regarding the young Decimo's action was right after all. He snapped his finger and his subordinates stepped forward and retrieving the dead body.

"I… I do… what I-I gotta… do, Bermuda. You made your end and I made mine, the deal is done…" despite of her stuttering reply, Tsukiko was putting on a brave face.

"Nice doing business with you, young Tsukiko…" and with that, the Vendice disappeared into the black portal.

All of sudden she felt weak on her knees that she fell down. After a while, she found herself sobbing hard. She did the right thing. She restored the universe's balance by terminating the enemy's life. Just as Bermuda had mentioned, it was either him or his brother. Of course, her brother's importance outweigh the other person. She did right, but why does this feel so wrong.

Tsukiko stared at her trembling hands. If it was Ottabio, that was just an accident that she killed him. But now, she felt the sensation of taking someone's life for real. She bring her tainted hands to her head, tugging handful of her hairs.

"ARGHHHHHHHHHHH!" She screamed out so loud, as if she was channelling out her frustration.

Little that she knows, someone had witnessed her action from beginning to an end. The blonde quickly made his way towards her before she was drowning in her emotion. He kneeled down before her, reaching for both her hands and slowly putting them down. The first step was to stop her from hurting herself. The younger twin stared at the newcomer with wide eyes, didn't expect him to be here.

"Calm down, Hime-chii…" Iemitsu's calm voice somehow soothed her from her roller coaster of emotion. The brunette was certainly shocked to see her father was right before her eyes. Her hazel pair was wildly looking around, just in case that certain someone that she didn't want to know what she had done, is around.

"O-otou-san? W-what are you doing here? D-Did you…" Tsukiko paused when she saw the CEDEF's leader nodded his head. So, he saw everything, huh?

"I-I'm sorry, Otou-san. But I had too. If not… he… or Tsu-kun will…" Tsukiko was attempting to explain while she was crying at the same time. Tsukiko's watery eyes widen when she was wrapped in the blonde's calming arms. She felt so calm, but still, it did not stopped her from crying.

"P-please don't tell Tsu-kun…" she begged in tears.

"What you did was wrong, Hime-chii, but it was for a right cause… it was not your fault that you did it" told Iemitsu in calming tone. If it was dealing with the trauma of the real, first kill, the CEDEF-boss was the one that should be trusted with the follow-up action, because he knew about it the best. He experienced it. Assassination was part of his line of work after all. Without proper guidance to get out from such negative feeling, one could turn crazy because of it, Iemitsu knew that much. Luckily, his father was there for him when he had his first kill before and now, he would be here for his daughter. She needed his support in this. It was just too bad, the father thought. Sooner or later, this crying-girl will have learn how to cope with this feeling as the leader knew, this first killing wouldn't be her last.

Here he thought that he needed to remove the future threat from the Vongola and his daughter had beat him to it. Few more observation on her and he knew, she will be ready.

'Consider this as your official welcome to the underground world, Hime-chii…'
