Red's POV

Half an hour and Blue still hasn't come back. I'm still anxious, and so is everybody else! Green made me stop biting my fingernails before I "hurt myself". Shadow, Thalia, and Green are pacing around, worried sick; Vio has been reading his book for a while, but I can tell he's troubled too. "Where is he?!" I cry, suddenly bursting into tears. I can't help it; I'm so scared for him! What if something happens to him?

"Oh, Red…" Thalia and Green come over to me. "He'll be alright, I'm sure he's handling everything just fine."

Suddenly Shadow perks his head up. "Hey guys! The magic wall…!" This catches all of our attention and we look at the doorway. The blue film has disappeared!

"Blue!" Everybody shouts at once. We all run inside.

At first, I don't see him. But when I glance down he's laying on the ground, completely helpless.

"Oh my gosh, Blue!" Green yells, dropping to his knees next to our friend. This is so scary! Green shakes him. "Blue! Wake up! Blue! Come on!"

I see Vio kneel next to Green, calm about the situation. How could he be so peaceful about this?! I watch as he checks Blue's pulse. Then he leans down and puts his ear to the boy's chest. "He's still alive, just very weak." Vio then puts his hand on Blue's stomach and feels it. "He has broken ribs. We need to get him to Zelda."

"BLUE!" I shriek, bursting into a new set of tears. Thalia puts her hand on my shoulder. "Don't worry, Red. He'll be fine."

"That's what you guys keep saying!" I shout, water making it hard to see. "But he's NOT fine!"

Vio is the next to say something. "Red… I know you're upset. But Blue will be okay."

"We promise." Thalia finishes, hugging me. She holds me as I watch as Vio and Green work together to lift his broken body up. They struggle but manage it anyway. I watch his chest for any signs of breathing, anything. Under my breath I pray to Din, Nayru, and Farore.

Then his eyes flutter open.

"BLUE!" I squeal again, even louder than the first time and wrestling myself out of Thalia's grip. I'm pretty sure the whole of Goron City can hear me, but I don't care. My friend's alive!

He looks at me first, groggily and moaning in obvious pain. "…Red?..."

The others all cheer. I watch Green pat him lightly on the head. "Glad to see you still functioning. But we need to get you to Zelda."

"You have broken ribs," Vio adds. Blue just lets his head loll to the side, his tongue hanging out. It's kind of funny, but I don't want to laugh because it's scary at the same time.

"Well, you guys know what to do," Green prods us verbally, and Thalia takes my hand and leads the way back to the top of Goron City. Shadow has to help carry Blue as Vio and Green almost drop him once or twice.

Just as we reach the stairs back up, there is a heavy, deep voice behind us. "Wait a second, brothers." It sounds like a Goron! Everybody turns around, surprised.

A larger-than-average, big-bellied Goron steps out of the throne room with his arms crossed and a grim smile on his face. He looks tough and mean. "What happened here? Why is that boy unconscious? And why am I back in my throne room?" He peers down at me, making me very, very nervous. I just want to hide. "Are you the one who saved me?"

Vio quickly goes to explain, saving me. "Brother Darunia, the Gorons said you disappeared when you were checking out something outside of Goron City. Something evil must have ambushed you, and when Blue here-" He gestures to our helpless hero-"defeated the monsters in there, he must've set you free."

Darunia strokes his chin with tan meaty fingers. "It appears you are correct." He bursts into laughter. "Well thank you, you six! How shall I pay you back?" He seems unaware of our injured friend.

Everyone awkwardly stares at him for a moment before he realizes Blue's state. "Oh! You most likely want your friend patched up. Luckily I have a stash of fairies in my throne room that can help him heal quickly! But you better take him to a real doctor in the castle. We have none here." With that, he steps inside his throne room briefly and comes back with a few bottles full of pink glimmering forms. Thalia packs them gingerly into Vio's pack for him while he supports Blue.

"Oh, before I forget this, too." Darunia heads back inside and this time he brings back a blank seashell. The words come to my minds as he hands the shell to Thalia, who in turn places them also in Vio's pack. What grows on branches, left to sit after a peel?

"Golden Olive!" I suddenly shout as its name dawns on me. In beautiful reply a small glowing shines through the leather of Vio's pack. Bingo.

Darunia doesn't seem to notice. "Have a good trip, brothers! Be sure to visit again soon!"

"Thank you!" Green says, earning a heavy pat on the back from the Goron as he heads back into his throne room. Green nearly falls over, but Thalia manages to catch him.

"Well, that's that," says Vio. "What's next?"
