(Author's Notes: Hey everyone! We are nearing the end of the finish line here! Just this chapter, and after that… the two epilogues! Yes, there will be two endings here! One for Disney, and one for Toho! This is it! I just want to extend another gracious and grateful thank you to any and all of you who have read, reviewed, and loved my novel here! It has been a great roller coaster ride, and I just hope that all of you enjoyed it as much as I have in writing it!
I would also like to dedicate this chapter to my newborn niece, Lily Vela! I hope she likes it, when she is old enough to read that is.
In this chapter, this is going to be the end of Maleficent… and also the end of another thing. What that is, I will show it to you rather then explain it. So, I hope you all got tissue boxes and such ready, for this chapter I hope will bring a tear to your eyes. Just out of curiosity, I just need to ask this. Do you really think that this would be a great Disney film, I mean if Toho and Disney bought it and did make it a movie according to my wishes?
I do not own Godzilla nor any of the characters from Toho, nor do I own any of the Disney characters. I do own my own OC creations, and also most of the music in this story. Chapter 36
Godzilla was back on his feet, the King of the Monsters roaring at a stunned and surprised Maleficent, a.k.a. Supreme Dragon. The two-headed black dragon turned to see that one by one, the monsters were coming back to their feet! Anguirus was roaring loudly, showing that the damage done to him by Maleficent was gone, healed away! And it seems his fighting spirit and energy were restored in full. She turned to see Mothra, the giant divine moth, hovering in place. Her back was also completely healed, the burn the evil dragon gave her with her green flames, also gone completely. Rodan was also up, back in the air where he belonged. The giant pteranodon was screeching in delight for two reasons; the first was that he was healed, the damage done to him by his foe was erased. The second… he was glad to be back in the fight! And when Supreme Dragon turned both of her heads back to the saurian, she saw that the green-skinned mutation was brimming with fighting spirit and power! Godzilla roared again, showing that the king was back! Maleficent thought, 'How could this be?! They were all down, defeated… done! Don't tell me that blue energy I saw revitalized them!'. Indeed, the evil-hearted witch had indeed seen the blue mystic aura that the small beings down below cover them, then go out like tendrils towards the fallen monsters. When she tried to swipe at the galaxy-like blue tendrils, she was hit with pain that shocked her to her core! She realized that the blue aura was covered in positive, pure good energy that was like poison to her. And when she tried to stop it at its source, the heroes and heroines down below at the beach, her flames were stopped by a golden shield! No doubt created by the trident.
Now, she was going for round two against the monsters that were out to kick her tail! Godzilla charged towards her, as fast as his huge body would allow. Supreme Dragon roared and charged back, wanting to end this battle once and for all! They locked claws in combat, like two people who were trying to push against one another. It was no contest to see who the strongest one was here, as Godzilla slowly pushed his opponent back. The black beast had strong forelimbs, but it was no match for the sheer strength that the King of the Monsters had. He had been fighting against various kinds of foes his entire life, some his equal or more in terms of physical strength. He had earned his power, while Maleficent had used magic to boost any kind of physical abilities. He pushed her back some, then actually released the hold he had on her, which confused the ebony beast for a while. The green-skinned saurian then turned around fast, delivering a powerful tail whip that struck Supreme Dragon hard in the chest! The evil creature roared in pain and staggered a little from the blow, her left claw going to her chest to clutch at it. Godzilla's tail whip attack was truly a powerful, versatile weapon. Maleficent roared angrily at the King of the Monsters, who roared back in return. He then looked to his left, and the sorceress-turned-dragon looked in the same direction. It was then she saw something come at her fast… a spinning spikeball!
Anguirus was on the sidelines, watching his friend test his strength against the black dragon. He roared out, stomping and pawing at the ground, wanting to fight! He saw Godzilla look at him from the corner of his eyes for a moment, then broke away from Maleficent to deliver the tail whip. When the large beast recoiled back from the hit, the saurian turned to him and nodded. He was giving him the signal to come on in to join the battle, and so he did with confidence and vigor! He jumped in the air and rolled up into his spikeball form, spinning fast and hard like a wheel towards Maleficent! The black dragon was still reeling from the attack Godzilla gave to her, so thus she could do nothing but let the spikeball hit her in the chest area, the same spot the King of the Monsters struck her with his tail! Angurius bounced back and uncurled from his ball form, landing on all fours and seeing what he did to the black two-headed beast. When he struck his enemy, he saw and heard Supreme Dragon shriek loudly in pain and anger, toppling on back and actually seeing her tumble around like a tumbleweed for a bit. Needless to say, the spiked-shelled monster was roaring in victory at being able to deliver such a blow to his enemy. The mutated Ankylosaurus charged in quick, not wanting to give his foe time to recover. When Maleficent finally stopped her tumbling, now on her stomach and very much in a daze, she felt a sharp pain shoot up her left head's lower neck area! The sorceress looked down from her right head to see Anguirus clamped down hard on her left head's neck, the left appendage thrashing in pain from the attack! Anguirus was locked on tight, and this time… he wanted to turn the tides on his foe. The black dragon flipped him over once, and now he wanted to return the favor.
Supreme Dragon tried to stand back up, to get back on all fours and throw off Anguirus. But her strength was fading fast, the previous attacks from the two monsters weakening her body more. She then felt her body go off the ground, and she was spinning! Maleficent turned to see that it was the mutated Ankylosaurus's doing, using his jaw still shut down tight on the neck area of her other head, and was using his sheer strength to lift her up a bit and was spinning itself and her around! It was an impressive feat of strength indeed, and Supreme Dragon was roaring in pain and indignity at being spun like this. This lasted for a few moments, then Anguirus opened his jaw slightly and let loose his prey! Supreme Dragon was flung a little more inland, right where the forest was at. A loud BOOM sound filled the land from the impact, and the black beast was on her belly as both heads were moaning in pain. Maleficent tried to regain her senses, trying so hard to develop some kind of counter-strategy that would allow her to gain the upper hand… or to flee from the scene. She never wanted to admit this out loud to anyone, but she knew that at the moment… she could not win. So she tried to move her dragon body, to retreat by any means necessary. But it seemed that the monsters had other ideas, that they wanted her to stay so they could finish what they started. Supreme Dragon rose up slowly, using her claws to pick herself up a bit, then she felt immense pain that came from directly at the middle of her back. She roared in pain, and looked up to see that it was Mothra, firing her twin pink beams of energy at her! It seemed that Mothra wanted some payback as well, and the divine moth was using her Ultrasound Wave attack technique on her, taking aim and shooting her ultrasound frequency energy attacks on the dragon.
The Twin Fairies told their massive friend, "Do not stop, Mothra! We must end this, and bring peace back to the kingdom!". And Mothra obliged, wanting to rid this planet of this evil being. She fired a few rounds of her twin pink energy beams from her antennae, damaging the black dragon greatly. It was all due to the positive energy that was now flowing through her being, making her energy attacks that more stronger and damaging to the negative-charged being. Supreme Dragon was thrashing around in pain, the energy attacks striking all over her back. Mothra soon ceased the ultrasound bombardment, and took a more physical option. She flew over to both of the necks of the beast, and grabbed them with her six legs. Three on the side of the right head, and three on the other head, the six feet came together and lifted the two appendages at the same time. Maleficent tried to use her Aura Flare technique, but to no avail. Mothra then sprinkled her poison powder on the evil-hearted sorceress, the golden pollen falling on her scales and seeping into her being. Supreme Dragon felt her muscles paralyzing, and also her negative-charged flames being neutralized. When the huge divine guardian beast unleashed her yellow lightning bolts from her wings, the evil monster roared/screeched in pain! She just wanted the pain to end, the positive mystical energy doing so much damage to her body and magic. In another feat of strength, Mothra tugged on the heads and flew backwards, dragging her foe with her and forcing Maleficent to go on her back. When she saw that her enemy was immobile on her back, the moth flew away. And coming into view, taking Mothra's place… was Rodan! It was like a tag-team effort, the monsters doing their part to damage Supreme Dragon, then switching out quickly to let their ally have a chance at payback!
Rodan screeched loudly as he swooped in, seeing his target coming into view. He slowed down just a little to grab at Maleficent's tail, then flew back up again to pick up speed. The two-headed monster could only groan and cry out in pain as the pteranodon was dragging her through the land, the woods falling and scraping on her scaly backside! Rodan kept this up for a while, dragging and circling around with his prey, causing damage to both Maleficent's body and pride. When he felt that she had enough, he tossed her to the ground and saw in delight at seeing his foe skidding across the landscape. Supreme Dragon tried to get back up, but the poisonous powder of Mothra was taking effect now. Her muscles were paralyzed all over, and even if they were not, her stamina and strength were all but gone. As of now… she was like a plaything to the monsters. Rodan saw his enemy land on her stomach, and decided to capitalize on that. He flew over her, then dropped down with his feet straight down. He slammed into her back, causing the two-headed dragon to groan in pain. He hopped up and came down hard again, using Maleficent as some sort of trampoline! Rodan kept this up for some time, until he decided to finish her off his own style. He flew high into the air, going up past the thick black clouds and soon emerging into clear sky! Rodan saw that the sun was slowly setting westward, saw that it was about early evening. He relished the warmth of the yellow orb before diving back into the clouds, gaining speed as he let his sixth sense take over. He was using his instincts to tell him the distance between himself and his prey, going to deliver a Mach 5 Sonic Boom attack right at the point where it would be most devastating to Supreme Dragon!
Said wounded beast was slowly getting up, the poison powder's effect wearing off and some of her strength returning. Maleficent knew that staying here was suicide, and that she needed to flee. 'I must… pant… flee this… pant… place. Retreat to… huff… recover… and plan… huff… my revenge.' she said to herself. She looked towards the sea, and assumed that the monsters could not swim, thus she was preparing to fly off with whatever strength she had left in her wings. She was about to test her flying capabilities… when she heard a strange sound. She turned around, then looked upwards to see Rodan coming down fast towards her! Supreme Dragon roared weakly, a very feeble attempt to try and scare her foe off. The pteranodon was having none of it, very close to reaching its top speed and performing his signature move at the right moment. Maleficent assumed that Rodan was going to come in for a powerful tackle takedown attack, so she braced herself and prepared to fall flat to the ground to avoid the attack. However, it was a costly mistake on her part as Rodan hit the mark and sped past over his foe at the perfect time! He broke the sound barrier, generating his powerful signature shockwave technique that blew Supreme Dragon away! The air blast lifted her slightly off the ground and caused the shocked being to tumble over backwards! The momentum and power of the blast forced her to roll over towards the ocean, right towards… Sanctuary! Yes, the black dragon had rolled near the place that once housed the mighty monsters when they were small. Maleficent was near the place where Godzilla and the others made their peace with the children and the adult princesses.
Godzilla and the other monsters went over to a now-stumbling dragon, the black beast very much in pain and just pathetically flopping around like a fish out of water. Godzilla looked at his fellow monsters, who all nodded their heads at him. The King of the Monsters roared loudly, and the blue aura came back in full force in all of them! It seemed that the monsters from another universe were using the very last of the positive energy that their small friends sent to them, to deal the final and critical blow to the black cancer that was on this land! Godzilla hefted the bulk of Supreme Dragon easily, took aim and tossed her high into the air! The saurian looked to Anguirus first, silently giving his spiked-shelled friend the first blow. The mutated Ankylosaurus bounded ahead, got up on his two hindquarters, and took in a deep breath. He was preparing his famous Sonic Roar, but this time it was changed due to the last of the blue aura he was calling up. When the massive black bulk started to descend downward due to gravity, Anguirus unleashed his attack! His roar was so powerful and loud, it actually formed visible waves of white energy that sent the creature higher and a bit farther away! The monsters thought their eyes were playing tricks on them, but they saw the image of Anguirus's bonded humans, Belle and Mainard, behind their friend, in spirit form and enlarged to be the same size as the mutated Ankylosaurus!
Once he was done, Anguirus got back on all fours and let Mothra take her shot at Maleficent. The divine moth squeaked out to her ally, then flew towards her foe. When she was close enough to Supreme Dragon, Mothra concentrated all of her mystic energy within herself, along with the blue aura. She then squeaked loudly, spread her wings out and a golden energy shot out from all across her body! Behind her and the Twin Fairies was a halo of golden light that took the form of the cross and a circle behind it with lines coming from it, resembling the sun! It was Mothra's symbol, and it was her ultimate technique called Cry for Peace! The mystic shockwave and positive energy damaged the evil dragon greatly, actually sending her further out and causing some of her scales and leathery wings to be burned up! Again, the monsters saw that the spirit image of Snow White and Kathrin appear with Mothra , between the divine guardian beast and the image that formed behind said monster.
Mothra flew back to the others, and Rodan saw that it was his turn. He felt something rise within him as the positive blue aura came to the surface. So much he wanted a projectile attack, so much he wanted to fight at a distance instead of so close up. He wanted to be able to shoot a beam of energy like the others. Now… he felt this was his chance! His body started to glow red, like a fiery furnace! The others growled in surprise when they saw their ally glowing like that, and Rodan was feeling the hot energy coursing through him. Again, the spirit images of Aurora, Dianne and Edgard stood with the pteranodon! He took aim at his enemy, then fired off a light purple beam of energy! It was extremely hot as it pierced right through Supreme Dragon's wings and cutting off the left head completely! Rodan had just used a move that he would acquire again in the future, he had used Uranium Heat Beam! This move used pure uranium, and this was more hot and concentrated to be able to pierce through any kind of material. The black dragon roared in pain as her left head was cut off, the piece falling to the sea where it disintegrated when it hit the sea water. When he used up all of his energy, Rodan felt the power slowly leaving him and his form soon returned to normal earth brown. Now, it was Godzilla's turn. The green-skinned behemoth gave Rodan a nod of respect, showing that he was mildly impressed with his ally/rival's show of power. The pteranodon hopped away a little, giving Godzilla room to do his stuff while feeling a sense of accomplishment. Getting the acknowledgement and respect from the King of the Monsters was no easy task, and now the titan of the skies felt a bit of pride in getting that from him.
Godzilla stood at the edge of Sanctuary, looking at his foe that was slowly succumbing to gravity and was about to drop again. The saurian pulled up all of the power he had him, along with the blue aura of positive energy that was given to him and the others by his bonded human companions and the rest that were watching from afar. The King of the Monsters was glowing blue now, giving off a light that was similar to lighting but more pure in power and form! He stomped his feet into the ground, and slammed his tail down hard. He was bracing himself for what was to come, and he was going to fire off his most powerful attack that was sure to be a sight to see! His dorsal spines flashed blue for a moment, then quickly changed color to a deep platinum-color with golden lightning bolts jumping here and there randomly! He opened his maw and let loose his trademark fire breath attack, but that too had changed! The monsters and the onlookers were stunned to see that Godzilla's concentrated nuclear flames were not blue… but a deep platinum color, with golden lightning bolts encircling around it! Supreme Dragon saw the light, and weakly looked at what was coming towards her. Her yellow eyes widened when she saw the beam of energy coming at her… but it was within the beam itself that got her reeling! The evil being saw that within the platinum colored fire beam were beings… spirits that were the ones bonded to Godzilla! Within the beam were the spirit forms of Melody, Ariel, Tracy, Cinderella… and another that the vile sorceress did not recognize. It was Queen Athena, the mother of Ariel and grandmother of Melody who had died years ago. The woman had a look of determination and strength that the other women possessed, and they were all streaking towards her! Maleficent could only scream/roar in surprise and pain when the beam hit. The pristine platinum heat beam tore through Supreme Dragon like water through tissue paper, and sent the beast more out into the air! The energy beam slowly disintegrated her body… then it all exploded in a shower of green, black, platinum and golden light! The particles of what was left of the dragon scattered on the ocean… on the very same spot that Ursula the Sea Witch was killed long ago by King Eric.
~On the beach~
Everyone had been looking on in surprises on what they were witnessing, on seeing the monsters working together to really take it to the evil dragon! Melody and the children were cheering loudly for the monsters from another universe, the little ones and pre-teens giving and showing their all. Tracy had cheered loudly, "Yes! That's it, Godzilla! Push her back! Show her that she's nothing when compared to you!". Asce and Cinderella Charming were a bit stunned by their daughter's enthuasim, but no one could blame her one bit. Deep down inside her heart, Cinderella was also cheering for her bonded monster. She looked over to see Ariel's six sisters; Attina, Alana, Adella, Aquata, Arista, and Andrina cheering for the King of the Monsters when he engaged Supreme Dragon in claw-to-claw combat. Triton was like the Charmings, very much stunned to see his daughters cheering with so much life and vibrancy. In his view, they had become mermaid teens again. Sonia, the elderly mermaid who loved to protect creatures, was also yelling for the saurian to finish off the two-headed dragon. It would be called a bit of an irony, if anyone could say it.
Ariel exclaimed, "Yes! Do it, Godzilla! Beat this nightmare once and for all!". Melody agreed with her mother, cheering her heart out as well for their bonded monster. When they saw Godzilla delivering the tail whip attack to Supreme Dragon and connecting, a loud cheer sounded from all! Oliver Oxen and his parents, Karl and Chloe, were also cheering for their green-skinned friend. Their fighting spirits rose greatly when they saw Anguirus deliver a critical blow to the transformed sorceress with his spikeball technique. Regina, Carlitos, Joshua, David, Sarah and Brad cheered loudly when they saw the mutated Ankylosaurus slamming into Maleficent like that!
Minos exclaimed, "Yeah! That's the way to do it, my friend! Don't let up on her!". The strongman, with his wife Fatima, were also getting into the swing of things with the others. Léandre, who had turned back into his human form, and Belle Célestin were also yelling out encouragement to Anguirus with their son Mainard. The pre-teen prince then cheered and whooped loudly when he saw his spike-shelled friend grabbing onto Maleficent's left head's neck with his jaw, and spinning her around like a top! Mainard was really impressed by this show of strength, as were the others. When Anguirus let go and sent Supreme Dragon flying, Rosalie the Enchantress was in complete awe by the strength and tenacity of this monster. Even the magical and mythical beasts she had met in her travels throughout the mortal and magical realm did not come close to the fighting spirit of Anguirus!
When Mothra started her bombardment of her twin pink energy beams on the black dragon, Florian and Snow White Rhoda were cheering as best they could. Even Kathrin was shouting out to the divine beast, "Go Mothra! Get that bad dragon! Be careful, though!". This surprised the parents, for they had never seen their daughter be so exuberant before. The animals were also cheering for Mothra; Sebastian, Flounder, Jaq, Deline, Gus, Rosette, and Scuttle. It seemed that the guardian beast was friend to all manner of creatures. When they all saw the gigantic moth using her poison powder on the black beast, the group was amazed to see the powder and yellow lighting having that great an effect on Supreme Dragon. Their eyes widened more when they saw Mothra use her strength to drag and put the transformed witch on her back. Snow White and Kathrin were very much in awe at the divine moth's physical strength.
The Seven Dwarves were also impressed by Mothra's might, Grumpy commenting, "Well, got to say! She's not half bad, for a gal that is.". That got him some glares from the females. The usually hardcore dwarf now shrunk back a little, forgetting that it was a bad idea to anger a woman. Especially a large group of them.
When it was time for Rodan to come in, Dianne and Edgard Valentin would not contain their excitement and joy! The fraternal twins shouted out with all their might, "Go Rodan, go! Show that evil witch who's boss! Take it to her! Show her no mercy!". Normally, their parents Philip and Aurora would scold them for suggesting such a thing. However, in this case… showing no mercy to an evil-hearted woman like Maleficent was indeed a good thing! Even the Three Good Fairies; Flora, Fauna and Merryweather were showing their support to the master of the skies! The blue-garbed fairy was very tempted to go and join the battle with the pteranodon, but her sisters convinced her that it was better to stay with the others and let Rodan do his part. When they saw him using the black dragon as a trampoline, the twins and the fairies actually laughed at the sight. Hadrian stated that he would have loved to jump on the black dragon's back, but his parents Nasser and Nura said that was a bad idea… on account that the beast probably had a lot of blubber, and that he would sink instead of bounce. That got a round of laughter from all, but when they saw and heard Rodan doing his famous signature attack, they quickly flung themselves to the ground and cover their ears from the massive shockwave air blast! Now they knew where the blast came from earlier, the one that shook Maleficent's super-elite soldiers badly.
When they all saw that the monsters and two-headed go to a part of the land that was familiar to them, Melody whispered out, "They're in Sanctuary…". They were now at the place on where the bonding between monster and humans first started, where the critical came when Godzilla accepted Regina some time ago. For most of them, that day seemed like an eternity ago. All of the humans, dwarves, animals, magical beings, and merfolk watched in awe as the blue aura flared up again in the monsters, all of them feeling that they were going to finish Supreme Dragon once and for all! When Godzilla hefted the large foe up into the air with his strength, even the princes were amazed to see such might. That is when things got a little strange for them all!
When the King of the Monsters tossed their enemy high into the air, and Anguirus stepped up to deliver his final blow… the group saw the queens and the pre-teen royals glowing in the same blue aura! Mainard whispered excitedly, "I can feel it… I can feel as if me and Anguirus are one, somehow! It's like I'm there with him!". Belle stated that she felt the same, very much amazed on this feeling. It was not only her positive feelings coming back up full like with her son, but it was also her fighting spirit! For once in her life, she wanted to fight and stand by her friend! That is when the others turned back to the battle, and indeed saw a faint but unmistakable image of Belle and Mainard beside Anguirus when he unleashed his charged up Sonic Roar! The powerful roar sent the dragon flying, and the aura soon died down for both monster and humans. When it did, Belle and Mainard felt a bit weak. Léandre went to the, cradling his wife in his arms while Tracy went to help Mainard.
Belle opened her eyes and whispered, "We're okay. Just a bit faint from experiencing something that extreme. Dear… it was just incredible…". The father/husband was just glad that his family was alright.
When Mothra flew over to Supreme Dragon to deliver her final blow, Snow White and Kathrin's glow increased in intensity and strength… the same that happened with Belle and Mainard earlier! Plus, it changed when gold thread-like energy mixed with the blue, like veins. The queen and princess let out a small cry of happiness as they felt the positive mystical energy coming from Mothra flowing through them. Kathrin whispered, "Mother… this is incredible! It's like we both are now one… with her!". Snow White nodded her head, taking it all in as best she could. When the divine beast used her Cry for Peace move, the two royal women were in awe at sheer might yet gentleness of the energy coursing through them! Their comrades turned to see the symbol that stood for Mothra coming up within the light, and that Snow White and Kathrin's image coming up between the moth and the symbol! When the technique and aura died down from the two, the ladies slumped to the sandy ground. Florian helped his wife while Edgard went to check on his crush. However… the glow surrounding him, Dianne and Aurora grew bright, signaling to all that it was Rodan's turn!
The group saw the massive pteranodon change somewhat, his body glowing like a furnace! The spirit images of Aurora, Edgard and Dianne formed right beside the titan of the skies, and said humans' aura were having red veins coming through the blue aura that enveloped them! Dianne stated softly, "It's so warm! It's getting warmer, but not in a bad way! It's like going into a hot bath, but it's not scalding!". Aurora's breath was taken away by this as well, and she was like Belle and Snow White… she wanted to help her friends win this battle! When Rodan fired his new technique the Uranium Heat Beam, the trio's aura surged with red energy that nearly replaced the blue aura! Fortunately, it only lasted for a few seconds before the red and blue aura faded away completely. The two pre-teens and the queen slumped to the sand, saved by Philip and also Pamela, who went to the children.
Ariel, Melody, Tracy and Cinderella were now glowing, bright as stars as Godzilla came to deliver the final, critical blow. However, the blue aura around the four flared up brightly and soon merged together to form what could be best described as a huge flame of energy! It was like looking into a galaxy of stars and such, but in flame form. The entire lot backed away a little, and Triton was amazed to see a deep platinum energy veins forming. He knew that certain colors meant certain things when it came to magic, and seeing a platinum color was VERY rare indeed! Melody stated, "For the world in which we love…"
Ariel continued, "For the friends and family we treasure…"
Cinderella said, "For the land in which we live in…"
Tracy stated, "For all that is good and right in this world…"
Then all said as one in strong harmony, "WE WILL DEFEAT YOU NOW, MALEFICENT!".
That is when Godzilla unleashed his new technique, one that would only exist in this world called Pristine Breath! He unleashed the changed fire breath, which was streaking hard and fast towards the defeated dragon! The group saw the images of Cinderella, Ariel, Tracy and Melody going into the beam itself! They also saw Queen Athena going in with them, and Triton and the mermaids gasped in awe. Eric turned to the merfolk and asked, "Who was that?! That mermaid looked like Ariel!". The King of Atlantica turned to the human prince and answered that it was his queen… his wife, Athena. Hearing this, the prince, servants, Oliver and his folks realized that the strange mermaid they saw was Ariel's mother and Melody's grandmother! Eric Marcel would make a mental note to ask more on Ariel's family and mermaid lineage later on. The group returned their focus to the finale, and saw Supreme Dragon just being obliterated completely by the pristine platinum-colored, gold lighting swirling flame beam! The Marcel king and Triton saw that what was left of the foul beast was scattering on the very spot where Ursula died years ago, when she herself became a giant with the use of the trident.
The aura died down from both Godzilla and the humans, and the form of Queen Athena slowly started to fade away. Eric, Oliver, Asce, and even Mainard after he recovered enough, went to the women to make sure they were okay. Triton and his six mermaid daughters looked to Athena, who was gliding slowly into the heavens. The deceased monarch gave her husband and daughters a gentle smile and look, reaching out to caress them with her ghostly hand. The group let out a sigh, some quiet, soft sobs and tears escaping from the mermaids. Triton looked to his beloved queen and wife, who nodded her head before vanishing back to Paradise up above. Flounder, Sebastian, Sonia and Scuttle looked to their ruler and the mighty king wiped a tear from his eye and stated softly, "Thank you for being with us, my dear wife. Thank you…".
When the lot saw that the royal ladies were all right, they were shaken out of their musings when a mighty roar filled the land! They turned to see that it was Godzilla, who was followed by Anguirus, Rodan and Mothra. The four monsters were claiming victory, letting all hear that they were victorious! Regina and the little ones laughed and started to hug one another in delight, then hugged their parents and the other adults. Joshua exclaimed, "YEAH! It's over! The nightmare is over! That bad witch is gone, and the good monsters have won! We did it!". His brother David joined in the celebration, jumping up and down with his mother Pamela. The children were all laughing in delight, and soon the joy became infectious. The adults were now whooping joy, smiling brightly as they fully realized that victory was theirs! Lenny Motley celebrated with his son Kenneth with the soldiers, the faithful and strong forces of the Marcel kingdom standing tall and strong. Jackson Dashboard was hugging his wife Minnie, and his son William. Minos and Fatima embraced one another, and also Bingwen Boqin and his wife Jiaying did the same. They were all glad that the vile sorceress was gone.
Little Regina cried out, "Mama! Daddy! Everyone! Look! The sky is opening up!". They looked up and saw that what the little girl stated was true. The black clouds were breaking up quickly, the sun's rays shining down full force! Without Maleficent to maintain her black magic on the environment, the black clouds were fading fast. Every living being was seeing the sun shine down, even though it was early evening and all. It just gave them another reason to celebrate! However… they soon heard a scream coming from Snow White who pointed behind them. The lot turned to face westward, and saw that coming towards them were three haggard and beat-up henchmen. It was Shadowsneak, Spring, and Tightfist! They were soggy, pathetic-looking, and worn out… but alive! The shadowy being that was the leader of the Monster bandits was glaring at them with hate-filled eyes, Shadowsneak and his two generals looking ticked off.
"Huff… enjoy… your victory… because… it will… be… your last…" he huffed out, very much apparent that he was out of breath and nearly out of energy. He and his two minions had managed to survive their battles, but just barely. Shadowsneak managed to find his unconscious partner, floating in the ocean like a cork top, and dragged him back to shore. Tightfist had leapt out of the palace-fortress shortly before Ebriah crashed into it, his scales offering some protection and cushion before fleeing the scene. He headed towards the beach, and that is where he met up with the others. They had witnessed the entire fight as well from afar, hiding in the shadows due to their injuries. The trio were actually glad that Maleficent was defeated. They were free from her, and now they wanted to settle the score! The group prepared themselves to fight, Triton about to use his trident when… a black aura quickly enveloped and ensnared the three transformed humans! It lasted for a while, then the aura quickly dissipated. When it did, standing before the lot were no longer mutated humans, but normal ones!
"Ummm… boss…" Tightfist said, his voice and looks showing confusion and fear as he looked at his now normal human hands. Springy looked at his hands as well, no longer seeing webbed palms with sticky tips on them, but normal pale human digit fingers and thumbs. He glanced down, and was really afraid when he saw that his toad-like legs and feet were also gone! He knew that he could no longer perform those powerful and amazing jumping feats like before. Shadowsneak also glanced down at himself, checking and soon realizing that he was back to normal as well. It would appear that with Maleficent's defeat, the magic that transformed them into mutated nightmares left them and they were returned back to normal. The three fools looked at one another, then slowly their heads turned back to the group they just threatened. The wicked smirks on many of their faces showed that now the tables were turned, and it was time for some justice to be delivered. Minos punched his right fist into his left palm, showing he was more than ready and delighted to bring the pain to the bandits.
"Any last words before the hurting begins, boys?" the strongman inquired, showing he was really going to enjoy bringing the pain. The three bandits offered weak smiles and slowly backing away, then as quickly as they could, turned tail and ran! However, they did not get far thanks to Merryweather. The blue-garbed fairy took careful aim, and fired her magic at them from her wand. The blue streak of energy surged forward at the tired trio, and when it hit… standing now on the sandy beach were three fools incased in ice. Shadowsneak, Springy and Tightfist were frozen in a huge block of ice, looking a bit comical since their eyes were wide and they were frozen in mid-motion from their running. The group approved of Merryweather's use of magic on them, and Kathrin asked on why she locked them in ice. The Good Fairy answered that she wanted to turn them to stone, but she felt that it would be too cruel even for them, so she encased them in blocks of ice. Eric stated that it was a good thing, since they were going to stand trial one of the major kingdoms that was nearby… if it was still there. And with the list of their wicked deeds very long, including torturing those of royal blood… the Marcel king and others doubted that the trio would last a week after said trial. King Triton then pointed his trident at them, and a golden light escaped from his magical artifact. It shot forward and encased the ice prison, the king explaining that he just reinforced the frozen water, saying it won't melt until the fools were brought to justice. Ariel and Melody thanked their father/grandfather for doing that.
Sarah Brown exclaimed, "Come on, come on! Let's go see the monsters!". She took off running quick, and the other little ones followed. Some, however, were not so thrilled with meeting the monsters up close, especially now that they returned to their original size. However, Melody, Tracy, the princess and queens stated that it was okay. They trusted the monsters, and thus were going to see their friends up close. Aurora, Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, and Belle started to make their way to where the palace-fortress was. It was decimated due to the monster fights, and now the other monsters that were under Maleficent's control were piled up on top of it. Biolantte stood where she was, still out cold even from the fight. The pre-teen royals followed their mothers, and soon everyone else did as well. Most of the adults were still a little uncomfortable to be going near such massive beasts that made even the titans in Greek legends look tame by comparison, in both size, ability and ferocity, but the children were full of innocence and life. They just saw the bad monsters knocked out, and felt the earth tremble as the good monsters went towards them. The little ones, princesses, princes and queens all let out a huge cheer as they saw Godzilla, Anguirus, Rodan and Mothra coming towards them. Triton and the rest were following in the ocean, staying near the shore in case something happened and were needed. The King of Atlantica was always ready to defend his family.
Godzilla and his fellow monsters were exhausted, all of them pushed to their limits. The mystical blue energy that radiated positive energy, that powered them back up and healed them, was gone. They had used it all up in defeating that dark two-headed dragon, and they were tired. Even the Twin Fairies were worn out, pulling their spirits together with not only Mothra, but with Kathrin and Snow White when they felt their spirits come with them. The four monsters heard some small noise with their advanced hearing, and looked towards the beach to see the humans and other beings with them, all cheering and shouting for them. To the massive beasts, this was new. Usually after a destructive battle like this, the humans in their world would pursue and bombard them with their weapons such as missiles and rockets. But not here. Here… they were looked on as heroes. Godzilla felt something trickle into his massive heart, something warm that he usually felt whenever he was with his bonded companions or the little human children. The saurian looked to the others, who nodded their heads at him. The King of the Monsters returned the gesture, and all started to make their way back to where the Marcel castle used to be, to the place that was now piled with the defeated bodies of their foes.
When all met near the fallen monsters; Ebriah, Titanosaurus, and Megalon, the small group let out a cheer for their heroes and heroine once more. Melody yelled out while smiling and waving her arms, "Godzilla! Everyone! We did it! We all did it! Thank you very much!". One by one, the royals expressed their thanks up close to the titans. While the adults were a little hesitant, the pre-teens and children were not. They just yelled out joyfully and clapped hard for their good friends. Godzilla returned the gestures with a roar that shook the land, causing some to cover their ears but many still had smiles on their faces. To them, they knew that this was the saurian's way of returning the thank you. Mothra squeaked loudly while flapping her wings, causing gusts that knocked the little ones over. But rather then cry, they giggled as they rolled in the sand and bumped gently into their parents. It seemed that kind of stuff would never get old for Sarah, Regina, Carlitos, Joshua, and David. Rodan screeched loudly, unfolding his wings in a showcase of his majestic form and power. Anguirus roared loudly as well, rearing up on his legs and showing to all that he was not someone to take lightly. The entire group was cheering, celebrating and savoring the sweet victory that they had all earned. Even the Twin Fairies came to them, using their mystical powers to float from Mothra's head and end up in the hands of Kathrin and Snow White. Lora was on Snow's hand, while Moll was in her daughter's hand.
However, it came to a stop when something flashed from Fairy Godmother Cateline's pocket. "Oh dear! What is this? What is going on?" the elderly lady of the magical arts inquired as she reached into her left pocket, pulling out a small oval object. It was the Magic Mirror, the one she had shrunk down and put into her pocket earlier. Apparently, the magical artifact was trying to communicate somehow. She placed it on the ground, waved her wands over it, and in a flash of blue light, the mirror that was used by Maleficent was back up to its original form. The others saw this and were confused on why she brought forth the mirror, and the fairy answered that it was flashing to her, wanting to communicate somewhat. The silvery mirror flashed, and in a burst of fire and smoke from within the mirror itself, the Spirit appeared. Many were surprised since they did not know of this enchanted artifact save for a few like Snow White and the queens.
"What is it that you wish to tell us, Spirit of the Mirror?" Ariel asked.
The floating head in the mirror had a terrible grin that made the others very wary of it. It answered, "You should be proud of yourselves, for Maleficent is dead. However, I fear that much trouble lies ahead. Should your saviors stay here in this world, trouble will come to you in many forms. Many would want to control or destroy them, and any that harbor the monsters will earn the kingdom's scorn. The only way for peace to come for all, for the land to be spared from such an attack… the mighty titans you all have come to love must return back.". That was met with silence from the humans, dwarves, magical folk, animals, and merfolk as well.
However, the silence only lasted for a few moments when Sarah and the little ones cried out, "NOOOOO! They aren't going back! They are staying here!". The royal pre-teens, Hadrian and Oliver were also objecting to this aggressively, stating that they could protect their friends from the other kingdoms. However, the adults and the others were thinking on this matter. While the young ones were passionate in the monsters wanting to stay here with them, the adults were thinking on this hard, staying cool and calm while in deep thought. Even the Twin Fairies were meditating on this as well. After five or so minutes of deep thinking, Aurora looked at the mirror and asked a question.
"Spirit of the Mirror, is there any way to shrink the monsters back to human size?" the Valentin queen inquired.
The apparition answered back, "The spell that shrank them before was a mixture of chaos, one unheard and unseen even by magical eyes. When Maleficent used her summoning spell, the Twin Fairies used their own to stop her from claiming her true prize. Different magics from different worlds mixed, and circumstances that are even beyond my scope of understanding. That is how the monsters shrank and came to a crash landing. Should one try to shrink them on purpose with potion or magic spell, I cannot guarantee that it would end so well.". For those that did not follow or get his words, it was Rosalie who translated. She explained to all that it was a different combinations of magic and certain circumstances, like still flying through space and time still within the summoning spell, that caused Godzilla and the others to shrink in the first place. If they tried to use spells that would normally shrink anything on the first try, it might not work this time. What happened to the King of the Monsters and his friends was something random, chaotic that would be near impossible to recreate. In short, it was a big blow to the ones who wanted the monsters to stay.
Triton really hated to see his granddaughter upset by this news, but he knew he had to convince her that Godzilla and the others needed to return back to their world. He swam up to his grandchild and said, "Melody, listen to me please. I know it's hard for you and the others to accept, but Godzilla and his monster allies, and their foes, need to return back to their world. Should they stay here, they would probably cause more harm than good. Their size shows they need massive quantities of food, and also their foes could awaken and cause problems in other lands too. There is simply too much at risk for both them, and us if they stay here.". The princess understood her grandfather's words, she really did, but she simply did not want her friends to go back to a place that hated them and saw them only as mindless beasts that needed to be killed.
Triton did have a point though. With Godzilla and his allies back to their normal size, they would require food that was on a very large scale. Plus, the saurian's body needed nuclear energy again to sustain itself. In this world, the potent poison was practically nil and also the radiation would most likely hurt his new bonded if he stayed near them. He looked to the monsters as the tiny beings down below argued with one another, growling softly to them. He was asking them in his own language on what needed to be done. Mothra simply nodded her head and gave out a small squeak. The Twin Fairies heard her, and also agreed with their guardian by nodding their heads while still occupied in their bonded's hands. The saurian turned to Rodan, and the giant pteranodon nodded his head and cawed softly.
Finally, Godzilla turned to his most trusted friend Anguirus, and the spiked-shelled monster nodded his head while growling softly. So… it was unanimous among them all. Godzilla closed his eyes for a moment, showing in a flash the human emotion of sadness before his brown eyes turned firm and true. He looked down at the beings, and roared loudly to get their attention! The arguing stopped, and all looked to the saurian. The Twin Fairies floated from Snow White and Kathrin's hand, going in front of the group. The tiny mystical women translated, "Godzilla wants you to know that he and the monsters have made a decision. They have decided… to go back to their world.".
That one statement made them all gasp, some amazed that the monsters could even have a meeting, and some that they would come to this decision. Joshua went to the twin mystical beings and asked, "W-Why? Don't they like it here? Don't they like us?". That was the question that was on most of the children, especially the pre-teen royals. However, the adults felt that this went a bit more deeper then feelings.
Moll answered, "Just the opposite, dear one. They all would love to stay in this world, but they know that remaining in this place at their original size would cause more harm than good.".
Lora continued, "Godzilla even agrees to this. He maybe a monster, but he is the King of the Monsters and knows about honor. He wants to spare all of you from any problems that might come from him or the others, and also wants to protect you all from the radiation that is now pulsing greatly in his being.". Everyone looked up at the saurian, and he growled softly before nodding his head slightly. Boqin and Jiaying gave an Oriental bow to the monsters, showing that they greatly respected and honored their decision. Like the children and pre-teens, they did not want to see their friends leave. But, it was the monster's decision to make and they would honor it respectably. The soldiers too, even Lenny and Kenneth Motley, gave the monsters looks and slight bows of respect. They did not comprehend that the titans would be able to do something intelligent like having a meeting and such, but now that they all saw that they could, it was only fitting to show the beasts respect. Minos and Fatima nodded their heads to Godzilla and the others as well, showing that they also earned their respect in more ways than one.
Melody looked at Godzilla, and could see the firmness in his eyes. Also, a sadness that she saw. The black-haired beauty now saw that the King of the Monsters did not want to leave her or the others, but he was thinking of them. All of them were; Rodan, Mothra and Anguirus. A few tears spilled from her soulful eyes, and she was not the only one. Tracy, Mainard, Kathrin, Edgard and Dianne were also having some tears to shed. Even Oliver and Hadrian's eyes were a bit misty, but they held it in a bit better then the others. The Marcel princess looked to the Twin Fairies and asked, "Are you sure this is the only way?". The tiny women nodded, answering that this is what the monsters wanted and agreed to. The small fairies from another universe were also sad that they would have to leave this wonderful place, but it was for the best. They would never want to wish harm on the people that took them in, and also showed Godzilla, Rodan and Anguirus the positive side of humanity that was greatly lacking in their world.
The Spirit in the Magic Mirror stated, "It was I who found the titans when Maleficent at her request wished revenge upon thee. To show the monsters the way back to their world, I am the key. Since the artifacts of magic that she used to aid her in bringing the beasts here are no more, we need magical beings that are of legendary lore. The fairies with you should suffice, and the trident that belongs to the ocean royalty must be part of this spell. I shall give you the means to do the returning ritual, this I will tell.". The mirror began to tell them, in his own unique way, that the ritual to do the returning spell would require an enormous amount of magical energy. Plus, the ones performing the spell should be in circle formation with the targets inside said circle. The Magic Mirror would relay the trans-universal coordinates magically to the spell tunnel, thus granting the monsters the means to get back to their own proper universe. Without clear guidance, the titans could fall into any universe or world… or maybe none at all.
Florian suggested, "How about we use the spell on the not-so friendly monsters first? To see if they arrive back to where they came from.". That was a good idea in itself, since this kind of spell on a massive scale had never been performed before in the mortal world. The princesses and queens looked to their bonded monsters, then to the Twin Fairies. Belle inquired if they could ask the monsters to pick up Titanosaurus, Megalon, and Ebriah and take them to where Biolantte was at. The fact of the matter was this; Godzilla's half-sister was just too heavy to move, weighing much more then any monster. The two tiny beauties nodded their heads, and relayed the message to Mothra and the monsters. Each one nodded their heads, and took a body, picking it up with their massive strength. The saurian and Anguirus dragged Titanosaurus, while Mothra carried Megalon and Rodan dragged Ebirah by the tail with his talons. The humans and other magical beings followed them, Rosalie using her powers to levitate the Magic Mirror. Tracy looked around as they followed the monsters, then something sprang into her mind that caused her to gasp softly. Happy caught this and the dwarf asked the human princess on what was wrong.
Tracy Charming said softly, "This place we're going to now… where Biolantte is at. I just realized that this place… this is where we first met the monsters, when they came down as falling stars all those days ago.". The royal kids looked around, and indeed saw that even though the area was demolished where Biolantte was at, this was the place that Godzilla and the others landed almost two weeks ago. Some nostalgia washed over them, remembering the time when the newcomers to this world had saved them from the Monster bandits. It was a time and place they would never soon forget. To them, the beginning of their friendship with the titans was also going to end as they were going to be sent back to their home world. Shortly, the monsters dropped their bulky cargo around Biolantte, who was still out cold from the battle against her half-brother. The beings stopped a ways from the unusual, if comical pile-up, and the Magic Mirror was about to give the instructions on what to do before being interrupted by Flora.
"Wait, wait! If we are going to send them back, we must do something first for a friend! Fauna, Merryweather. Come with me, please." the red-garbed Good Fairy stated before flying towards Biolantte's head, her sisters soon following her. When the three godfairies of the Valentin family got close to the half-plant, half-Godzilla creature, Flora took their hands and concentrated. The trio quickly started to glow in their trademark colors, then melded into Biolantte's head:
~Inside Biolantte's mindscape~
The Three Good Fairies flew as fast as they could to the center of the monster's mind, Merryweather looking around since this was her first time ever in this green-like labyrinth of vines and such. In a few moments, they reached their destination. Waiting for them in the central chamber was Erica Shiragami, the white-formed human soul standing patiently for the magical folk. The Japanese woman bowed to them and said, "Thank you for coming back, fairies-sans. Forgive me if I seem a little drained, but I am recovering on what I did to help my brother, Godzilla.". The young Oriental woman saw Merryweather, and the two were introduced quickly due to time. Erica said that it took a lot out of her when she helped Godzilla to knock out Biolantte like this, and also says that her safeguard that she mentioned to Flora and Fauna earlier was still in effect. The young scientist also said that she heard everything on the outside, and was both sad and pleased to be going back home. Sad that she was going to be leaving some good people, ones she made friends with and could actually chat with. But pleased because she did miss her homeland, and wanted to protect the people of this world from her raging monster half.
Flora smiled and replied, "We thank you for all you have done, Erica. Considering the circumstances you are in, I daresay you went above and beyond the call of duty. In my view, that makes you a heroine. And we would love to give you a reward for helping us against Maleficent and her forces.". She turned to her two sisters and whispered her gift to them. Merryweather was a bit uncertain of this, but not Fauna. The three magical beings talked with one another for a bit, then they all nodded their heads and looked to Erica, who was indeed a bit perplexed by their actions. The trio raised their wands at her, and then light shot out from them! The blue from Merryweather, green from Fauna, and red from Flora hit the spirit at the same time, enveloping her in a multi-colored dome of magical energy! The young lady gasped as energy flowed through her soul, and then she heard a snapping sound. It lasted for a minute or two, then the fairies turned off the magic and lowered their wands. The Japanese spirit looked around, then looked at her metaphysical body to see on what just occurred.
Flora smiled softly once more and stated, "My dear, we have given you a very special gift. The next time that Biolantte turns into the golden spores like you told us about… it will be your last.". Seeing Erica's eyes widen considerably, Fauna went by her sister's side and said that she was going to be free. No longer would Erica be reincarnated back into Biolantte like it's been for a while, but this time… her soul could finally escape from the scientific-born monster! Her soul would finally be able to ascend permanently, to meet her father, mother, friends and ancestors in the next world! Tears of joy escaped from her eyes, and she floated over quickly to embrace the three fairies! This took the magical beings by surprise a little, but they all smiled and sighed, returning the hug. This was an embrace of love between good friends, a gesture of thank you for giving someone something that was more precious than anything else. The fairies had given her… freedom. Slowly, the hug broke and Erica returned to the center of the room.
The spirit smiled brightly and said, "Thank you, Flora-san, Fauna-san, and Merryweather-san! You have no idea how much your gift means to me! Thank you! Domo arigato!". The trio of magic-wielders could only guess on what the last words meant, but felt that it was the same thing, which was 'Thank you very much'. They waved and said their goodbyes to the spirit, soon leaving the central mind chamber. While Erica sat back down in the chamber, she did not notice a small piece of blackness that clung to one of the vines…
~Outside of Biolantte's mindscape~
The Three Good Fairies soon emerged from Biolantte's head area, their magic quickly venting from their bodies the radiation build up. Though it was a short trip, the magic was taking no chances of having such a potent energy source on the elderly ladies. The trio floated down towards the group, and Aurora asked on what they did. Flora answered that they just merely left a gift for Erica inside of Biolantte's soul, one that would take hold as soon as they got back home. Merryweather saw the looks on confusion on most of the people's faces, and promised that they would explain to them on Erica later. Fauna saw that all of the people seemed to be waiting for them, and she asked on what was going on. Dianne answered, "Well… since the monsters are going to be returned home… we thought we can give them a going away present of sort.". Aurora's daughter really did not want the monsters to go, as evident in her tone, but since they had to go in order to avoid trouble, she at least wanted to give them something to remember her by. The other royal pre-teens wanted to give something to their bonded to remember them by. The Twin Fairies offered to take the keepsakes and hold onto them for the monsters, promising that their mementos would be kept safe and also to remind them all of the bond they all shared.
Moll and Lora were on the ground now instead of floating in the air, the tiny ladies wanting to conserve their mystical energy just in case anything happened during the transport back home. Tracy looked to her fairy godmother Cateline and asked what she could give to Godzilla. The elderly magic-user smiled and replied, "How about this? The symbol that stands for you and your mother, also the symbol that shows how Cinderella came to be with your father.". She did some intricate waving of her white wand, and appearing in mid-air was a small necklace of sort. It had a silver chain, and on the chain was a locket that was made of fine clear crystal. On said crystal was the image of the famous glass slipper, the one Cinderella wore long ago that she lost at the royal ball, Asce finding it and searching the kingdom for the owner so he could find her. The etching was made of sky-blue color and sparkling , and also around the slipper were four small images that went around the slipper in this order clockwise; the Charming castle, the carriage that took Cinderella to the ball all those years ago, a wand that had stars shooting from the tip, and finally the shadowy image of Jaq the mouse. Tracy examined it for a while, then found that it could be opened. She did so, and inside was a picture of her and Cinderella. The Charming princess smiled and hugged Cateline for the gift. The godmother returned the affectionate hug, always loving these embraces from her godchild.
Tracy stated, "It's perfect! But, it's a little big for the fairies to take…". Cateline simply smirked and used her magic to shrink the object down into a size that was manageable, and put the necklace in a present box she conjured up. The Charming pre-teen lady was very much impressed by her godmother's magic abilities, as she thanked her again before presenting the gift to the fairies. Moll and Lora took it, bowing to her and thanking her and Cateline very much for the gift. The blue-robed magic wielder stated that the necklace would return back to normal size when it was let out of the box, and the tiny twins answered that they would take it out as soon as they were back home on Infant Island.
Next up was Mainard with Belle and Rosalie behind him. The prince looked a little embarrassed on his present, his mother and enchantress were the ones to create it, and though it did not seem 'manly' in the prince's taste, the two insisted that this would be a perfect gift for Anguirus. He showed the Twin Fairies the gift; a necklace of a golden chain with a locket that was made of exquisite colored glass, and in the middle was the shadowy silhouette of the Beast and within the shadow was a single red rose. Belle opened it up to reveal that inside was a picture of her and her son. The tiny women bowed and thanked the Célestin family for the gift. Mainard replied, "I hope it makes up for the gifts that we gave them earlier. They were destroyed or lost during our fight against Maleficent a week ago.". It was true, the gifts and accessories they gave to the monsters when they were in their shrunken state we either lost or destroyed when Maleficent arrived with her armies. Moll and Lora said not to dwell on that, and also that the necklace was very beautiful and acceptable. Rosalie then used to her powers to shrink and put the necklace in a present box, the same Cateline did for her present. The Charming present box was sky blue with a deep blue ribbon wrapping around it, while the Célestin present was yellow with red ribbon wrapping.
Next was the Valentin family; with Aurora, Edgard and Dianne presenting their gift to the Oriental twins. It was another necklace, but again different from the other ones. The chain was mixture of gemstones; ruby, emerald and lapis lazuli in that particular order. The locket that was on said chain displayed the dark silhouette of Aurora's castle, but inside the castle was the face of Aurora. Said queen opened it to show that Edgard and Dianne's pictures were in it. Edgard explained, "Since our pictures were in it, we wanted our mother's face to be on the castle. I hope it's not too much." Moll and Lora thanked the children for the gift, saying that it was excellent. It was once again shrunk and put into a present box thanks to Merryweather. This present box had red and green paper wrapping with a deep blue ribbon wrapping around it.
Next up was the Rhoda family, Kathrin and Snow White holding a slightly different present for them. It was a necklace made out of pure diamond, with the pendant having the faces of both Kathrin and Snow White! The queen explained, "Our friend Dopey saw that he still had one of the diamonds he carries with him, and also recovered when he used it against Shadowsneak when he was that black monster being. He wanted you to have it, and the dwarves plus Cateline managed to carve and change it to be like this.". The Twin Fairies looked behind the girls to see the six dwarves waving at them, with Grumpy having his arms folded as always. Moll and Lora smiled and waved back, then looked to the royal ladies and said that this was truly a magnificent gift for Mothra. Fairy Godmother Cateline came in to shrink, and wrap the present in a gift box. The gift box was bright yellow with blue and red stripe ribbon wrapping.
The final one was the Marcel family, and it was Melody and Ariel that were presenting their gift to Godzilla. Moll and Lora saw that the redheaded princess was holding the trident, her father Triton allowing his daughter to use his magical artifact and symbol of power… if only this one time. Ariel smiled at the two mystical women and stated, "We put a lot of thought into it, and we want Godzilla to have this… and hope he still remembers us.". The trident in her hands glowed as she concentrated, and a brilliant flash of golden light filled the air! All had to cover their eyes, and in a moment, the glare died down and everyone unshielded their eyes. They saw that floating in the space between the humans and tiny fairies was a necklace, but this one was special. Its chain was actually pearls of great quality and strength, and the pendent was a large white shell, like the kind you find on the beach. The symbol of the trident was etched on the white shell, and when it opened up, it showed two pictures. One of Melody, and one of Ariel. The sea-crafted locket floated to Melody's hands, where she knelt down and presented it to the Twin Fairies.
"I really hope that Godzilla and the others never forget us… because we will never forget them." she whispered to the two Oriental women, who nodded and assured her that they will never forget them. Ariel used her trident powers to bring forth a present box, one that had aqua blue paper wrapping with a red ribbon wrapping around it . Melody took the box, then put the necklace inside it, and then Ariel shrank the box until it was at an adequate size for the fairies to take. Once it was all done, the Twin Fairies bowed to everyone and floated upward with their mystical abilities, the five presents in tow.
Moll and Lora said as one, "We thank you all for everything. This has all been one grand adventure, and we hope that this story is written or told for future generations.". Now that was a worthy idea, and the adults started to think on that suggestion. The mystical beings bowed their heads once again to all, and then floated upward to where Mothra was at. When they were situated on her head, they noticed that Godzilla was looking at them. The saurian growled, and the tiny women knew that he was asking on what just happened down below. Lora spoke that their friends were giving them something to remember them by, gifts from the heart.
Godzilla and the others were intrigued by this, since most of them had never received any kind of gifts from humans. They only thing they received from the ones in their world were insults, harsh words, and also weapons that tried to kill them. Mothra had experienced receiving gifts from the natives on Infant Island, but they were more ritual offerings then gifts. The saurian looked to where his own heart was beating, and actually thought to give this action a try. He lifted his left claw to his heart area and dug in a little, grunting in a little pain as he pulled from his body two small skin patches. The Twin Fairies saw this and were wondering why he did that. The King of the Monsters looked to the human group and growled, and it was Moll that yelled out from Mothra's head, "Melody, Tracy, Cinderella, Ariel! He is calling for you!". The four stunned females slowly went towards the green-skinned titan, very much wondering on what was going on. When they were at a good distance, Godzilla growled softly before bending down and putting the two green patches he pulled out from his own body in front of them. While they were very small in his view, to the human girls these patches were the size of the royal doorway of the Marcel castle! Moll and Lora were surprised, then realized on what Godzilla was doing. They floated down and were hovering near their friends.
"It seems that Godzilla has taken our words to heart. When we told him that the monsters were receiving gifts from your hearts, he wanted to try and give you something to remember him from his heart. He took it quite literally, as the two green patches there are from his heart area." Moll explained. The four royal women were stunned by this, and Tracy and Melody had some tears slipping from their eyes as they saw the King of the Monsters perform an act of kindness that was above and beyond anyone's comprehension in his own universe. Cinderella helped Tracy heave hers up, while Ariel helped her daughter with hers.
"Thank you Godzilla. Thank you so much!" Tracy and Melody called out together, showing they really liked his gift. Godzilla nodded and looked… pleased, perhaps? Rodan, Anguirus, and Mothra were a bit surprised by the saurian's actions, and soon they too felt that they should part some gifts to their bonded. Rodan leant down and picked two of his small spikes that were on his chest near the heart area, Anguirus moved his tail to his own head, and used his teeth to pull out a small spike, and Mothra flapped her wings a little and two large golden scales fluttered down to the ground. The massive divine beast squeaked to the Twin Fairies, who understood her and flew to the place that the scales landed at. It still surprised the people that the tiny fairies could fly with no wings, instead using their own mystical powers to enable them to fly. Rodan and Anguirus went to Godzilla, and the two called out to their bonded. Mainard, Belle, Edgard, Dianne, Aurora, Kathrin and Snow White went to the spot where their friends were at. Rodan went first, leaning down and dropping his two small spikes to the ground. The spikes were small, but in reality one would mistake them for the spears used by the Biblical giant, Goliath! Edgard and Dianne took the spikes, thanking Rodan very much for the gesture. Aurora and Philip went over to help them with the red objects, carrying them back to the group.
Next was Anguirus, who leaned his head down and dropped to the ground one of his tail spikes. It was small, but to the humans it would be mistaken for a giant's javelin! Belle and Mainard went to the spike, looked up and the prince exclaimed, "Thank you Anguirus! Thank you very much!". He and Belle carried the long, white spike back to the others, Léandre coming to help them. The final one was Kathrin and Snow White, the two waiting for the Twin Fairies. Moll and Lora flew back towards the princesses, and floating above their heads were two large, transparent and gleaning golden scales! They were thin, delicate yet strong at the same time, coming from Mothra's wings. They were in the shape of a dragonfly's wings, and were about eight feet tall and four feet wide. The tiny beauties used their mystical power to gently float them to Snow White and Kathrin, the ladies grabbing them and surprised to feel that the scales were lighter then they looked. And though they did not know this, the scales were pure gold and each of them could be a vast kingdom! But for them, they would not trade these gifts for any amount of money or item.
"Moll, Lora. Please tell Mothra we say thank you from the very bottom of our hearts." Snow White requested, and the two answered that they would do so. When the two Rhoda women went back to the group, they saw that the other humans, animals, and magical beings were surprised by this gesture from the monsters. Apparently, they had witnessed seeing titans having the hearts of mortals, which would be burned in their minds forever. The Twin Fairies soon returned to their guardian, back on her head and with the gift boxes secured with their mystic energy.
The Spirit in the Magic Mirror stated, "If all is said and done, now is the time to prepare. Mystic fairies, tell all to back away and be aware. The ones with magical abilities, form a circle around the titanic foes that are out cold. When all aligned with another in a perfect shape, then press on and be bold. Focus and chant the incantation I have taught you, let the words be heard on in the air! When the portal opens, space and time will rip and tear! I will focus on where the monsters need to go, to send them back to whence they came. So let all know that if anything falters, I am not to blame.". The adults realized that if anything were to happen and something went wrong, it was not to be blamed on the Magic Mirror. The magical folk, and Ariel, took to various points around Biolantte and the knocked-out monsters while the onlookers retreated back to make sure they were well outside of the circle. Once every single person was in their place to form the circle, all raised their magical artifacts and started to chant the spell that the Spirit taught them. Ariel was focusing and concentrating intensely, the trident glowing brightly.
Back at the beach, Triton and his followers and family watched from a distance, hoping that all would work out well. They did not hear anything, but they did see what occurred, and Sebastian and the others were surprised on what the monsters did when they took some of their body parts off. They all made a mental note to ask on what happened later on.
Back inland, the fairies, enchantress, and Ariel all focused and spoke the words at the same time, "Magic of the world, we call you now! Hear our voices, clear and loud! We wish to open a portal, to another universe that is beyond the stars! To send our enemies and friends back to it, to this world afar! We call upon the energy of this world, to make our wish come true! Rip apart time and space… of this, we ask of YOU!". As they chanted the words, a glowing golden light formed under their bodies and went off to connect with the other lights until a perfect circle was formed. Wind whipped about, and the air was crackling with magical might! Quickly as the wind rose up, a golden column of light shot forth into the heavens! Biolantte, Ebriah, Megalon and Titanosaurus were engulfed in the golden light, and slowly started to rise off from the ground. First was the red amphibious dinosaur, rising slowly into the air. Next was Megalon, followed by Ebriah. Last was Biolantte, and all who saw this massive creature rising into the air had their eyes wide open and their jaws a bit slack opened in surprise. No one could blame them, since this behemoth weighed tons and did not have the capacity for flight. One by one, they gradually gained speed and shot into the sky! They were like blazing golden comets, streaking when they reached a certain height in the atmosphere, then vanished in a twinkle like a star!
The Spirit of the Mirror stated, "My concentration is true, I have seen them head towards their rightful place. It is now time for the good titans to enter the pillar, so tell them to step towards the base.". The entire group watched with misty eyes, waving farewell to the ones that have changed their lives so much in such a short amount of time. First up was Mothra, who squeaked loudly for all to hear.
The Rhoda family and the little ones cried out, "Goodbye, Mothra! Thank you for being with us! Good luck back in your world! We'll miss you!". With a nod, the divine moth flew into the pillar and started to rise up in the air under the power of the magic now flowing around her.
Next up was Rodan, who looked to the group and his gaze fell upon his bonded. The Valentin family and the children called out, "Goodbye, Rodan! Take care of yourself! We'll never forget you!". Rodan let out a screech in response, and flared up his massive wings out full. He nodded to his bonded, then hopped into the pillar. He too rose slowly, close behind Mothra who continued to rise gradually.
Coming up to the plate was Anguirus, the spiked-shelled monster gazing at his bonded humans. The Célestin family exclaimed, "Goodbye, Anguirus! Let no one push you around! Show them the true fighting spirit that you have!"". Regina, Sarah, and the other local kids called out to him as well, wanting to make sure all of the monsters heard them. Anguirus reared up on his two legs, standing as tall as can be, and let out a roar that shook the air! He then got back on all fours, nodded to his bonded and went inside the pillar of light. He started to rise as well, following behind his companions.
Last was Godzilla… the King of the Monsters himself. The saurian looked at all of them, the humans and creatures that showed him love, compassion, patience, and kindness. He would never forget any of them as long as he lived. He roared out loud to them, his way of saying goodbye. He was surprised when he saw Melody and Tracy stepping forward, side by side. The two looked at their bonded in the eyes, took a deep breath… and actually roared right back as loud as they could! This caught all of the people and beings off-guard, seeing the refined princesses just roaring like that. Soon, the children joined in! They all let out roars that looked and sounded cute, and slowly but surely… all joined in! Princesses, princes, kings, queens, performers and civilians, soldiers and dwarves, and the animal friends roared with all their might in their own, unique way! Even Léandre transformed back into the Beast, and roared loudly with all his furry fury! When it was all done, Godzilla saw the determined, fierce fighting spirit that was flowing through the eyes of his bonded. Even seeing it in Cinderella's eyes mildly surprised the saurian.
He nodded to them and walked towards the pillar of light and magic, but then he turned around… and if one could see it closely, he gave to them what seemed to be a… tiny smile. The bonded saw that, and a large grin came on their faces. The King of the Monsters then walked into the light, and rose up to be with his allies/rivals. They rose into the air, gaining speed as they ascended. When they reached a certain height however… the spell tunnel broke and they veered off fast to the east! This surprised many, even the magical beings and Ariel, who lost their concentration and the circle was broken. All saw with wide eyes as their companions were now streaking eastward, like a blazing golden comet in the heavens!
The magical folk and Ariel raced back to everyone, and Eric demanded of the Spirit, "What happened?! Did something go wrong?!".
The Spirit in the Mirror was silent for a moment, then broke out in a knowing grin. He answered, "This is no fault of anyone here, this is the work of a Higher Being. I believe that the Lord on High wishes for the titans to take a look at this entire world before departing, if I am correcting in what I am seeing. Take heart though, they will make it back to their own world intact. This I promise you, this is most certainly fact.". The people and sentient beings understood his words; the King of Kings wished that the monster heroes would see this world before heading back to their own, and so… Godzilla and his monsters were in for a wild ride!
Fauna then felt something was a bit off, and flew high above the others to see what this feeling was. Her eyes gazed down and saw the circle that she and the others used to form the summoning spell tunnel. It was burned into the ground, like God himself had branded it. She said to herself, "My word! I wonder kind of symbol is that?". Inside the black-lined circle were symbols that was unfamiliar to her, ones that looked to be scratches of some kind. What they did not know that it was the sign from Godzilla's world… one that bounded the monsters together in a way.
~In northern England~
Somewhere in the countryside, a beautiful young blonde lady of about twenty-seven years of age was in a meadow reading a book. By her side was a small black kitten with a milky white underfur. The blonde woman had black hairpiece tied up with a ribbon on top, wore blue dress with a white top of sort overlaying the blue dress. Her eyes were deep blue, and shone with mirth and curiosity as she read her book. Her skin was a light tan color, but more whitish. She turned a page when a small girl, looking to be around seven or eight years of age, came running to her from a flower field that was nearby. This particular child had black hair which ran straight down rather then tied up, blue eyes like the older woman, and wore a dress that was similar to hers but the dress she had on underneath the white top was deep purple instead of blue. She cried out, "Mama, mama! Look, look! Up in the sky! A gold star is shooting across the sky!". The black kitten and the woman, who was the child's mother, looked up and indeed… they saw a blazing comet burning through the sky! But… this was nothing like a comet they have seen or heard of.
The child ran into her mother's arms, the book dropping from the woman's hands to the ground, and she rose up with her child to see the comet. They both peered at the blazing orb… and the two saw beings in it, or more precisely monsters! The blonde beauty took in the sight of the giant moth that seemed to fly in the tunnel, and the leather-winged creature that she swore only existed in the books she had read. The little girl was entranced when she saw a strange turtle with a spiked shell and long spike tail… and a beast that was truly incredible to see, like nothing she had ever seen before! The comet soon blazed forward, heading fast towards the east. After a few moments of silence, the little girl looked to her mother and asked, "Mama, did you see those things in the comet? They looked like monsters! But, they didn't look very scary like the ones in the storybooks.".
The older woman shook her head and answered, "Yes, I saw them Lillie. And indeed, they don't look as scary as the ones in the fairy tales. More incredible yes, but not scary.".
The small child Lillie asked, "Should we tell someone about it, Mama Alice?". The elderly beauty, whose name was Alice, smiled at her child and answered that they would keep it as a secret. The seven year old beauty simply smiled and said okay, and Alice knelt back down to put Lillie down. The kitten near them meowed and went to the small girl to bat at her long hair.
Lillie giggled and said, "Oh Chersire, you silly thing you!". She started to play with them, while Alice's eyes went from her darling daughter to the comet that she and her little one saw.
'A golden comet with monsters in them? Curiouser, and curiouser…' was the thought running through her head.
~In Scotland~
Deep in the Scottish highlands was a kingdom, one that had rarely changed throughout the ages. Near one of the many locks was a large stone castle, owned and under the protection and guidance of the Dunbroch clan. Sitting on one of the stone walkways was a little girl of about eleven years of age, and wearing green clothing that was traditional for the people that lived in the land. She had light blue eyes that were alit with passion, curiosity, and strength. One would compare that to a wildfire. Her skin was light tan, like a peach mixed with cream, and adorable freckles dotted her face. Her hair was frizzled and had the display of a wild bush burning, her hair a dazzling deep color of red. The little girl was looking out at the loch lake that was before their castle, but something caught her eye out in the distance. She took out a spyglass that she snuck from her father's room, looked southeast and peered as hard as she could. A feeling of awareness was over her, one that often surprised her family when it became active. Through the spyglass she saw… a blazing golden comet, and she managed to glimpse inside of it… seeing a beast that looked something straight out of her storybooks!
She gasped softly and whispered, "By the very magic itself… what is that thing inside that blazing ball?! It has such strange spines on its back, and looks more fierce then even a bear!". She wanted to see more, but two things prevented her. One, the comet was blazing fast and furious as the sun was setting slowly in the west, night slowly coming to greet the land. Second, she heard the sound of her father calling out for her.
"Hey, little Merida! Come on, you wee lass! Almost time for supper! Better get ready before ya mother finds ye!" a loud, deep male voice called out. The little child, Merida, eeped and jumped off the stone walkway, running back to get to the inside of the castle in time.
A thought crossed her mind as she recalled the image she saw in the comet. 'That shape I saw… what could it be? Will I see it again?' Merida thought as she made her way to the washroom to get cleaned up.
~In the Netherlands~
In a place deep within the land, hidden from the rest of the world by nature herself, was a tall tower that was most unusually out of place. In addition to being in the middle of nowhere, this particular tower had no door and only one window. Said structure was surrounded by majestic mountain sides, with a tall waterfall cutting through it. Down below was beautiful green foliage and trees that made it possible for this tower to be hidden from outsider eyes. In the tower was a little girl of about ten years of age, who seemed to be alone at the moment. This little lady had long blonde hair, but was most unusual about it was that this hair was at least ten or so feet long! This did not seem to both the small beauty as she looked out the window, looking at the sky that was slowly turning towards nighttime. The girl had serene green eyes, fair skin with a faint reddish blush cheeks on her face, and wearing a pink simple dress. She looked to the sky and whispered, "Oh Great One above… can you please show me something so I won't be lonely anymore…".
It seemed she got her wish as a blazing golden comet showed itself, fast and free in the heavens! The little girl gave a surprised gasp, and a bright smile came over her face! She looked at the blazing orb, which looked like a miniature runaway sun. She peered deeper into it… and gasped when she saw monsters in it! She was entranced, not frightened, by what she saw. What most intrigued her was the large spiked-shelled monster who looked very wonderful to her. She kept her eyes on the comet until it shot over the mountain, and was thus lost to her view. She said to herself, "Monsters… I saw monsters! They looked so real, and more incredible then in the books Mother Gothel showed me!".
Her musings were brought to a halt when she a grappling hook of some kind appear quickly and latch itself on the window sill! The child gave a gasp of fright, then sighed as she calmed down and peered down. Coming up was a beautiful woman that wore a dark cloak and had black, wavy hair. As the lady climbed up, she spoke loudly, "I'm back Rapunzel! Mummy has brought some food for dinner tonight!". The child, Rapunzel, smiled and wanted to tell her mother about the comet she saw! But then… something inside of her told her to keep it a secret for now.
'I hope… I hope I see that comet again. And the monsters it had in it…' she thought as she went to prepare the table.
~In Norway~
In the kingdom known to many as Arendelle, the kingdom was preparing for night as the sun was sinking to the west. The people were content and liked their lives in the kingdom, which was ruled by a just if a little anxious couple. The king and queen always seemed to be worried about something, and many thought it had to do with their children. The couple was blessed with two beautiful girls, Anna and Elsa. They have seen them, but it seemed that the royal couple was protective of them, especially Elsa but they did not explain why.
Said girls were in their room, playing in the snow… which was impossible since it was summertime. Elsa, a white-haired eight year old that looked to be blooming into a beautiful lady, showed off her unique powers. The girl was blessed with a special power to create and control snow and ice at will, which worried her parents but delighted her sister, Anna. Else was the oldest, three years ahead of her sister. The five year old had begged her sibling to use her powers to have fun in their room, and it seemed that Elsa caved in. The two were laughing in delight and playing in the conjured snow, when something caught Anna's attention. The light brown haired girl pointed to the open window and exclaimed, "Look! Look at that, Elsa! A little sun is coming over the land!". The older sister was about to say something, when the words died in her throat and she was now seeing what Anna was seeing. Indeed, the two saw what seemed to be a blazing golden sun streaking across the sky over their kingdom!
The two peered more into the orb, and gasped in awe and surprise when they saw monsters in it! They were seeing four beings in there, but it seemed that two took their focus. Anna was staring at the spiked-shelled monsters with a strange head and long, spiked tail while Elsa was focusing on the monster that had large spines on his back, and a face that looked ferocious but strangely, not scary. The elder sister had a good, photographic memory and absorbed every detail of all four monsters quickly before the comet seemed to be bend and go southward, which was strange even itself.
When the shimmering orb of light was gone, Anna looked to her sister and both were wearing surprised smiles on their faces. They had just seen what could be counted as miraculously, and they needed to let it out! The brown-haired princess looked to her sister and asked, "Can you create what we saw with your ice?". Elsa nodded and concentrated, and soon ice shot from her hands and she crafted the frozen water to make the shapes of the monsters they had seen in the comet. In a few minutes, four large ice sculptures were in the room in excellent detail. One of a large moth, the other a strange bird they did not recognize at all, the strange spiked-shelled beast, and the one that stood out from them all… looking like a king amongst the monsters!
Both thought, 'Will we see them again? I hope so…'.
~In Germany~
In the village of Schwerin, the townsfolk were busy preparing for their nightly activities since the sun was setting and nighttime was rolling in slow but sure. Some were preparing for dinner in their homes, while some prepared to go down to the local tavern to eat, drink, and be either merry or sad, depending on their own story. In a humble but thriving toy shop, a young teenager was preparing to close for the night. The sign above said GEPPETTOS, but the young lad was not the name shown on the shop. The originally owner had passed away some time ago, and had left his shop to his only son, which was him. The lad had learned from his father how to not only how to maintain the shop, but to do his trade which was making toys for children. He enjoyed his life and endured many things, both good and bad. He was closing shop a little bit early to be with his girlfriend, a beautiful fräulein named Ilsa that he met some months ago, and were hitting it off pretty well so far.
He was all dressed up in his best and was out the door, about to close it when a little kitten rushed out to him. It was white with black fur on his face, under belly, paws and at the tip of the tail, with green eyes. It pawed at its owner and the lad looked down, scooped it up and asked, "Hey Figaro 2, what's going on? What are you worried about?". The kitten pointed his paw to the east, and that is when the town was alit with a golden glow! The young teen looked up, and gasped along with many others as they all saw a blazing golden comet streaking over the heavens! Many were gazing upon, wondering what it was and if it meant ill omen or not. The teen peered deeper into the comet, and his eyes widened when he saw that inside the ball of light were… monsters! He had seen a giant moth, a strange bird of sort, an animal with a spiked shell… and an animal that he could not truly describe that had strange spines on its back! His eyes were locked onto the comet, and it soon streaked over the horizon, disappearing from view.
A bug appeared from on top of the lad's hat, a cricket that wore a tuxedo, top hat and carrying an umbrella. One would have to be very surprised to see a cricket wearing human clothing, and more so that one would make an outfit in that size. On its chest was a golden star pin that had the words OFFICAL CONSCIENCE, and it seemed the cricket loved to show it off with a sense of pride. The cricket hopped from the hat and landed on the teen's shoulder. He asked, "Wow, Pinoch! That was a sight to see! Do you think it means anything?". The lad, called Pinoch which was short for Pinocchio, shook his head and his mind was thinking hard on what he just saw.
"I don't know, Jiminy. I don't know… I saw four things in that comet, though." Pinocchio answered. The conscience was now wondering more on if that comet was a sign, perhaps from their magical companion the Blue Fairy. One thing was for sure… the image would be burned in their minds for a long time.
~In the Middle East~
In the swirling desert lands, in the kingdom known to many as Agrabah, the citizens were closing their stalls while some of the nocturnal variety were opening their shops. In the massive palace up ahead, a man and woman was on one of the palace balconies, looking as the stars started to show themselves to the world. The two were of middle age, perhaps in the early 30's, and also married. The man had short black hair, black eyes, a thin but strong build that showed he was an acrobat of some kind, and with dark tan skin. His lady beside him was a true beauty, aged in number but not showing it in the least. She wore a dark purple top of sort, and purple billowing pants that looked to be made of fine quality silk. She had dark tan skin like her husbands, and also a figure that most women at any age would love to have. Her eyes were black, and shining with a light that was a sight to behold. The two held hands as they looked at the sky, then they heard the sounds of footsteps behind them. They turned to see two children running towards them, a boy and girl. It turned out to be their children. Both were about seven years of age, and wore clothing similar to what their parents wore when they were young.
The boy pointed to the sky and exclaimed, "Mother, father! Look! Up in the sky! It's a golden ball!". The two picked up their kids, the father taking his daughter while the mother picked up her son. The little boy pointed towards the heavens and when they looked… the two adults indeed could see a blazing comet streaking across the sky!
The little girl exclaimed, "Monsters are in it! We saw them!". The parents gasped, and peered into the comet more deeply. Indeed, they saw monsters in it, the kind they had never seen before! The adult man seemed to be focused more on the bird with no feathers on it, and the woman was focused more on the giant moth that was inside the brilliant sphere. The two watched as it continued its journey eastward, soon vanishing over the horizon.
"Aladdin… do you think that could be Genie or one of his magical friends playing a trick or something on us?" the woman asked her husband.
The young man, Aladdin answered, "I don't think so, Jasmine. Genie has been gone for a while with his wife Eden. Besides, I don't think that's his style. When he and Eden come back, maybe we can ask him.". The two continued to look at the heavens with their little ones, wondering if the blazing comet meant something to them. Maybe so…
~In China~
The large land of the Orient, steeped in ancient tradition and honor, was at peace for now. The people seemed to be content and the land itself seemed to thrive in prosperity and tranquility. In one of the many villages that dotted the landscape, a certain small red dragon was looking at the empty scene before him. Long ago, he was a once a guardian to a great heroine named Fa Mulan, one who saved the nation of China from a Hun invasion, and also managed to unite the her homeland kingdom with another. Her family had been elevated do a legendary status, and enjoyed many perks and a good lifestyle. But as the centuries passed, the descendants of the family decided to move on from the small village and seek their fortune somewhere else. The Fa family grounds were still well kept by those who respected the family, but it was mostly empty and the dragon felt lonely. His species could live an incredibly long awhile, and he was getting bored with waiting around.
He looked to the heavens and stated, "When is the Fa family going to be back here?! I have been waiting in this empty dump for centuries, and I really need to see some people! Come on, great spirits! Show me a sign that I won't have endure this be on my own like an eternal bachelor for much longer!". It seemed he got his wish as a blazing comet streaked across the land, which surprised the little dragon greatly as he jumped high in the air. He gazed upward at the golden light, and he swore he saw one of his larger relations inside the comet, along with three others that he had never seen before! He watched as the comet streaked more eastward, flying fast and free as night settled in. He was wondering, and hoping that it was a sign that his bachelor days were indeed numbered.
Nearby, a small girl was following the comet, feeling that she needed to trail after the golden light. She soon came upon the Fa family grounds, and wondered if this what she was looking for. She had heard stories from her parents that her ancestors were great people, and once lived here. She whispered, "Okay Meihui, let's see if this place is indeed the Fa family grounds…". Then she went in, hoping that the blazing comet led her to her destiny…
~In Hawaii~
The islands in the Pacific Ocean were plentiful in numbers, but one particular chain of islands was prized most of all by the inhabitants. It was called Hawaii, and the natives were still asleep while the sun slowly rose from the sky. To some, it would look like it was rising up from the ocean. One little boy of about six years of age was looking at the tiny portion of the sun as it was rising, and he looked quite sad. This little child was an orphan, and he longed to have a family of his own. He had been hoping and praying for a family, anyone that would love and care for him. He saw light from behind him, which was strange since the sun was in front of him. He turned and looked up, and gasped when he saw that it was a comet of gold! He shot to his feet and gazed into the orb, and was surprised to see animals of great size and strange features that made his imagination run wild! His gaze was firmly locked on the orb, even as it continued to streak fast towards the east.
"What was that?! And what were those things inside it?!" he thought. He was continuing to stare in that direction, until he felt someone looking at him. The lad turned around to see that it was the ruler of the land, King Kamehameha the Great! He was stunned to see the ruler of the islands with him. The king looked down at the lad, giving him a soft smile before his gaze turned to the horizon. Apparently, he had seen the comet as well and thus saw the little boy on the edge of the cliff. The child looked to the great king in awe and asked if he knew about the golden comet.
King Kamehameha shook his head and replied, "I do not know what the shooting star is, but I do know where it is going. I felt it in my heart… it is going back to its ohana.". Seeing the puzzled look on the child's face, the king knelt down and explained to him that ohana meant family, and family meant that no one got left behind… or forgotten. The child was touched by the meaning of ohana, and looked to the blazing comet that was now long gone.
'Does this mean… I will have my own ohana soon?!' he thought hopefully.
~In New Orleans~
In the swamplands of the country that was currently under the rule of the United States of America, but left largely untouched due to outside forces and circumstances, a young lady was looking through the murky wetlands to see if she could find herself some ingredients for her voodoo magic. This woman was 30 years of age, had black skin with matching black hair but kept in a white turban of sort, and wore white clothing. Her name was Odie, and she was a slave that had escaped into the bayous of Louisiana some time ago. She was blind due to a strike to the head by her former master, but she had tapped into her other senses to escape into the wetlands. Now, she made a living learning all she could about the natural world, learning from a voodoo priestess named Radelle. She was feeling around for some mushrooms when she felt something tingle at the back of her neck. She looked up and felt something call out to her in the sky. Her mind formed a mental picture, and she 'saw' in her mental landscape a golden comet that had four large beings in it!
"Well, ain't that a sight!" she exclaimed as in her mind, pictures formed. She saw a huge moth, a bird of the most strangest of looks, an overgrown turtle with a spiked shell and long tail… and on that looked like a lizard, but stood proud and tall like a human, with the air of a powerful king! She kept her eyes on the comet that was indeed passing over her in the afternoon sky, then it faded away as it went out of sight.
Odie was wondering, "I wonder this means for me? I better get back to Radelle so she can tell me more.". She then hurried as quick as she could back to her wise, loving and also free-spirited friend that was considered by all the Queen of the Bayou.
~Back in Sennen, England~
While the monsters were making their trip around the world, the others had been working on rebuilding the kingdom, even though only three or so hours have passed by. Thanks to the fairies, the Marcel castle was restored to its former brilliance. It now stood proudly and cleanly, like it hadn't been changed to the palace-fortress that once housed Maleficent and her forces. While the castle could be restored, the land was only partially restored. The poisonous magic of Maleficent was being neutralized and cleansed by nature herself, and the magical folk aided in restoring some vegetation. However, they all knew it would take years for the earth and plants to fully grow back to its former splendor. When the grounds were taken care of, the others were inside the palace and going over some plans. The Magic Mirror was nearby, turned off and the Spirit at rest. Its fate was that it was going to be returned to Snow White, since it was rightfully hers since it belonged to her stepmother Grimhilde.
Merryweather had found Melody and the children's belongings in the magical grove, which amazingly was still intact even after all of the fighting, and gave the bags back to them. Inside where the pictures that the pre-teens had saved from before, and now they wanted to have the drawings/pictures preserved and saved so they could be painted on a much larger canvas for all to see in the future. Speaking of futures, it was a grim one for Shadowsneak and his two fellow Monster bandits, Springy and Tightfist. The two were still locked in ice, and now put in the middle of the castle grounds. They were awaiting their fate, which they knew was bad as the crimes they commited was so long and bad… the only future they could get was either life sentence to prison, or execution.
Ariel was with her family, the trident back her father's possession. Shortly after the magic spell was cut off, she returned the magical artifact to its rightful ruler. Triton asked on what had happened, and after hearing the Marcel family's story, he and the others were surprised. More so when they saw the presents the monsters left for the other families. The ruler of Atlantica said that he would look more into the objects that Godzilla gave them later. But for now, they had to return to their undersea kingdom and start to fix what they could and inform the citizens that it was safe to return to Atlantica. Melody and Ariel gave the king a strong hug and kiss on the cheek, wishing him good luck and to come visit soon. The two gave their sisters/aunts hugs too, wishing them the best of luck. Sebastian told them he was going back with them under the sea, to see if he could salvage what was left of his concert hall. Scuttle flew off into the sky, wishing them luck and also giving them some important news. He told them that on his way back here, he saw some ships heading towards this way.
It was proven true later on, as Eric did spot some ships sailing towards their location with his spyglass. It would be some hours until they arrived at the newly rebuilt port and harbor. He assumed that word of what happened here when Maleficent arrived reached some of the neighboring kingdoms, and it spread out quickly to other lands. The prince was correct as the ships were from Asce's kingdom, all sailing to investigate to see about the reports of magic, monsters and demons. He figured that the ships would arrive back mid-evening, most likely at 9:00 p.m.
Fauna had told them about the strange symbols that were inside the circle they had formed, and even drew it with her wand in the air with magical shimmers. The royals drew it down so they could ask about it to the Bingwen's later on, as said couple were busy at the moment outside. The royals and locals were currently working on plans to restore the village, and to see if they could find the citizens and tell them that it was safe to return. Just then, a shout from Melody outside got their attention. She exclaimed, "Look! Look! They're back! They're back! Godzilla and the others!". This got all of their attention, as they went outside to the balcony to see if it was true. Indeed it was, as the brilliant golden comet was coming into view! The children and royal pre-teens rejoiced, hoping that their monster friends were going to be staying with them. However… their joy soon faded and was replaced by sadness when the comet near the spot where the summoning spell started at, then quickly ascended upward and flew back up high into the heavens. It seemed that the Magic Mirror was correct after all, the monsters were returning back to their home world. The golden comet passed two brillant stars that came out first in the night sky, one that was more brillant and large on the right.
Melody looked at her parents, who were behind her and asked "Mom, Dad… will we ever see them again?".
The two could not come up with an answer, as they feared any kind of response would give their daughter either false hope or a negative response. However, it was Oliver/Olujimi that answered. He went to the princess and stood by her side, Melody soon looking from her parents to him. He said, "I do not know if we will see them again, Melody. But I do know this… we will always see them in our dreams, for they will always lie in our hearts.". The black-haired Marcel princesses looked at her crush, then smiled and nodded her head. In the process, her hand slowly slipped into his. The two pre-teens smiled at one another, saying nothing but enjoying the moment. The other royal children were soon joining their respective crushes; Mainard with Tracy, Dianne with Hadrian/Hazael, and Kathrin with Edgard. The parents saw this, and all smiled a secret smile, seeing something bloom between their flesh and blood, and hoping it would become something more.
The humans were soon joined by the fairies, enchantress, dwarves, soldiers, and civilians who had seen the golden comet as well. Ariel spoke out, "Everyone, let's tell our stories now. Let's write it all down and make sure that future generations know of what happened. Let's get it all down, every little bit… and make this a story that will be told to all, a story truly legendary.".
~In a certain land in the sky~
In the heavens, in another world separate yet existing in the earth down below, was a fantastic place that was known to only a few mortals. This place was called Neverland, a place that many lost things from the mortal world came to be, be they living or not. This magical realm was governed by the fairies, pixies of such unique power and characters, that you had to see to believe. This land was inhabited Indians, and also pirates. The island was now under a new ruler, one who came six or so months ago. This ruler was not a man, however. Rather, a young lad that was cocky as a rooster and also very wild and free. His name was Peter Pan, and he was enjoying being the new boss of Neverland! He was found by a pixie named Tinkerbell, a beautiful blonde fairy that lived in a place called Pixie Hollow, which was deep within the interior of Neverland.
The child was blessed by the Queen of the Fairies, Queen Clarion, and thus given the ability to fly at all times and it was she that chose Tinkerbell to be his companion from now on. Tink was very sad to leave Pixie Hollow and her friends behind, but soon come to enjoy the wild and carefree energy and boldness of Peter Pan. Now, the two were flying over Neverland, looking for adventure! The duo had recently escaped from a pirate named Captain James Hook, and it turned a bit deadly when the pirate captain took Tinkerbell hostage. Peter Pan cut off his left hand to free Tink, and fed the appendage to a crocodile that was nearby. The wild youth and pixie were flying near the mountains of the island, when they saw something that caused them to stop and look over the horizon. Coming past the island was a brilliant comet, one that was like a miniature sun! Peter Pan and Tink were in awe, then they saw something inside the blazing orb. Peering in, the two gasped in awe at seeing monsters inside of the runaway star!
Peter exclaimed, "Wow, Tink! Monsters, real monsters were inside there! I wonder what they were?! I wonder if they'll be coming here! I really want to see them, especially that strange bird one!". Tinkerbell nodded, but the one that got her attention most of all was the powerful-looking monster, the one with the strange spines on its back and a fierce face.
They were not the only ones who witnessed such a sight. The pirates did, as they were out at sea, trying to calm their captain as he was in a rage. He had just replaced his left hand with a large, silver metal hook, and he was furious on how this came to be. He exclaimed, "Curse that Peter Pan! That sniveling little rooster! I'll get my revenge on him if it is the last thing I do!". He was going to go on another rant when his first mate, Mr. Smee exclaimed that something was coming in fast from the horizon. The pirates and Hook looked to see the comet, and many panicked because they were considered ill omen to them. And it was further cemented when they saw the monsters inside the blazing comet! Hook screamed in fear at seeing Godzilla, thinking he was a dragon and looking like that crocodile that ate his hand. He ran back into his cabin, and barricaded the door with his furniture and such. It would be awhile until he came back out…
At Pixie Hollow, the other fairies were also in awe when they saw the blazing orb, and what it contained! The garden fairies and animal fairies were in awe at seeing Mothra, the fast-flying fairies focusing on Rodan, the light fairies and tinker fairies were entranced by Anguirus, and the water fairies were looking in awe at Godzilla. Even the Minister Fairies were looking in awe at the sight, some believing that something big was coming their way.
Among those that saw the comet and what it contained were Tinkerbell's old friends; Zarina, Silvermist, Rosette, Vida, Iridessa, and Fawn. The small but potent fairies were amazed on what they saw, and Fawn asked, "Wow! Did you see that?! I bet those critters we saw in there are going to be coming here soon!". Rosette commented that she hoped the monster they saw would not be coming here. Silvermist looked to their new friend Zarina and asked what she thought.
The alchemist-fairy answered, "I do not know much, but I do know this. That we have not seen the last of those creatures, be it good or bad.". The images of the monsters would be forever etched in their minds, as they saw the comet going into the heavens, and vanishing in the blink like that of a star.
(Author's Notes: And… cut! Whew… this was a LONG chapter to make, but well worth it! This is the end of the story, but not completely! Two epilogues remain, so stay tuned! And the symbol that Fauna saw… it's the TohoScope symbol! It's the circle with Japanese kanji writing that appears at the beginning of every Godzilla movie! If you have seen it, then you know what I am talking about. In other words, Toho left their mark on Disney! Hehehe…
So, what did you think of the monster traveling to various parts of the world? And… hehehehe… showing themselves to future and past Disney classics? Can you name and identify the movies in which I snuck in here? In my view, Godzilla has the potential to be cross-overed with many other Disney movies, but there are too many to name, so I put down the movies I think have the best potential to be a good Godzilla/Disney crossover story. Now, for the questions: What did you think on how Godzilla and the others did to totally defeat Maleficent/Supreme Dragon? If your spirit was merging with any of the monsters to deliver the critical blow, which monster do you want to show up near to and why? What would you do? How would you feel if you received the presents that the monsters gave you? What kind of present would you like to give to the Twin Fairies so they could keep it as keepsakes for the monsters? Would you roar as well to Godzilla, like Melody and the others did? Also, pick and describe the characters that saw Godzilla and the others, and explain what you think is going on through their heads. And finally… would you want to make sure this story would be told to future generations?
In one of the epilogues, I am going to dedicate it to a Japanese actress that died some days ago. My friend Japan Boy, the one who got me inspired to write this, informed me that she played a character in Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah and felt that it would be a good idea to honor her memory. So, I will! Also, Godzilla and the others will regain the abilities they just lost here in this chapter, but in the forms you have seen already in the 1990's movies! It was here that the monsters learned how to do their attacks and forms!
Godzilla learned how to take energy into his being here, thus when he returns back home… he will learn his red Finishing Breath attack he first shows in Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla 2! And Rodan is changed here, as you read and saw, and it will continue to do so when he returns to his radioactive island home and battles against Godzilla in the movie just mentioned now. And Mothra will pass down her new techniques to her child in the egg that she will lay soon, that will hatch in Godzilla and Mothra: The Battle For Earth!
In short, the monsters all get their forms and upgrades due to being in the Disney universe in the first place! What do you think on that?
