"OH MY GOD! HEY GUYS!" Matsuda randomly yells from his desk, scaring everyone, "There's this new trend that was very popular and I want to see if L and Light can do it."

"Why don't you do it?" asks Light.

"..because I'm scared." Matsuda rubs the back of his head and smiles sheepishly.

Light rolls his eyes, "What is it?"

Matsuda looks at L, who is working on his laptop, and then looks at Light.

"It's called 'The Charlie Charlie Challenge.'"

"And what do you do?"

"Well here," Matsuda gets up and grabs printing paper and two pencils, "you draw lines to divide it into four squares. Then you write yes on the top left, no on the top right, no on the bottom left and yes on the bottom right." Matsuda grabs the paper and does exactly what he's explaining. He places the paper right in front of Light. L starts to get interested and watches Matsuda from his desk. Which is not too far away because you know..

..Light may be Kira.

L loses himself in his thoughts as he thinks about how Light can be Kira. He's intelligent. Kira's schedule is of a college students.. Maybe he's a sociopath as well.

L glances at Light.

He's pretty good looking for a mass murdere- wait what?! L pauses his thoughts, surprised at himself, I shouldn't be having such thoughts..

Just then did L remember what happened when they played with dirty dice. L quickly distracts himself before he can get further into the subject and listens to the two men before him.

"...and then you say 'Charlie Charlie, are you there?' And see if the pencils move!"

"Like that one board with the ghosts?"

"Yeah!"

Light smirks. Then he glances up at Ryuk for a split second then back at the paper.

L looks at Light. Analyzing him and the paper.

"Charlie, Charlie, are you here?" Light chants.

Nothing happens for a second, but nobody takes their eyes off the paper. L almost looks away in disinterest when.. A pencil moves!

Yes.

L's eyes widen like saucers and jolts making himself tumbling off the chair onto the floor. Matsuda screams and flails his arms then throws himself onto L looking for comfort and protection. L promptly kicks him off.

Light tries hard not to smile as he's pretending to be shocked as well. Light's looking at the paper and the pencil that's spinning a little with the help of Ryuk.

"Charlie, Charlie, is Light Kira?" L asks.

Ryuk chuckles as he moves a pencil.
