Dom's P.O.V
"I'm so bored, when are the guys getting back?"
"What are you tired of me already, Let?" I asked pinching her sides.
"No, I just want to do something."
"Well the guys should be back any minute with the parts for you dads car, you can work on that."
"I don't want to work, I want to do something fun." She said as she rolled on top of me.
"Well I could think of a few fun things we could do." I smiled as I kissed her.
"But all we've done all day is make out." She mumbled through my kisses.
"That's because this is prefect."
"You're just lazy." She insisted.
"I just got back from the gym, I'm tired and I missed you."
"We both stayed home from work today so we could sleep in and have some alone time together, you left to go to the gym for an hour, you couldn't of missed me too much."
"But I did." I said running my hand through her hair.
"Well then you have attachment issues." She laughed.
"Maybe." I smiled back.
"Come on babe, don't you want to do something, especially because the races got called off tonight, which btw you never told me why."
"The police were swarming around all the usual racing areas today, we thought that it would be better to call it off for a weekend or two, just until some of the heat is off."
"Why do the police even care? We block off the roads and no one gets hurt."
"May I remind you, that once when Lance and I were racing he hit a guy who ended up in the hospital, and just a few years back I almost took off your arm?"
"So we have you to blame for the police always hanging around, should have known. Way to ruin it for all of us dude." She said sarcastically.
"I know, I'm sorry."
"Apology not accepted."
"Oh, yeah?" I said flipping us over so I was on top of her. I went right for the sides and started tickling her, the sides are always her weak spot.
"Dom stop!" She laughed.
"Make me." I insisted as I continued to tickle her.
"Stop! Stop! Stop!" She yelled as she squirmed underneath me.
I finally gave in and brought my lips to hers.
"You know I hate getting tickled." She said smiling up at me.
"I know but it's too hard for me to resist."
"Let's go do something." She insisted once again.
"What would you like to do?"
"Why don't we go out and race each other at the old rail road track?"
"With what car?"
"The guys all drove separately?"
"Yup."
"Wow, way to go green."
"We could play some basketball?" I suggested.
"Sure."
We both got up and put on some active wear so we could go out and play some ball.
"Oh my god I just had the best idea!"
"What?"
"Do you remember when we were younger and we use to break into places all the time and graffiti the walls?"
"Yeah, I remember."
"Well I've heard from a couple people at school about this old, haunted Hospital called Linda Vista, it's only in Boyle Heights-"
"Yeah because you need to go back to Boyle Heights." I laughed.
"Shut up and let me finish… I say we go there and check it out, I know where we can get a Ouija board."
"We're not getting a Ouija, those thing are creepy."
"Come on, don't be a baby."
"You really think this place is haunted?"
"From what I've heard, it sounds like it could be but I won't believe it until I see it."
"I don't think the guys will want to go."
"You don't think the guys will want to go or you don't want to go?"
"I'll go."
"Great, you go get in the shower because you stink from the gym and I'll call everyone and tell them to get their butts home."
"Whatever you say boss." I said before giving her a quick kiss and walking to the bathroom to shower.
I don't really know how I feel about ghost, I believe in Heaven and an afterlife, so it shouldn't be so hard for me to believe that ghost exist too, should it? I've never seen one, or even thought much about ghost being real but I'm opened minded and if it's really what Letty wants to do tonight, I'll go with her to do it.
I got out of the shower about twenty minutes later and heard Letty and Vince arguing downstairs. I quickly got dressed and made my ways down there.
"What's wrong V, scared of a little ghost?" She teased.
"No I don't even believe in that shit."
"Then why don't you want to go?"
"Because it's stupid and a waste of time."
"Come one V, just admit that you're scared. "
"I'm not though."
"Then you'll come."
"I've got better things to do."
"Like what?"
"Don't worry baby girl the old coyote is just scared and won't admitted it." Leon said joining in on the teasing.
"Fine, I'll go." He caved. "But only if Mia goes."
"Oh I'm not going." Mia said straight up.
"Come on Mia, you have to." Letty begged.
"No way in hell am I going to the haunted place."
"Who knows if it's even haunted, they're just stories."
"If it's not haunted then why do you even want to go?"
"Because I'm not one hundred percent sure, but we'll never know unless we go." Letty insisted.
"I really don't want to go."
"Don't force her Let." I said butting in.
"Come on Mia, you can't leave me alone with a bunch of guys, I need you."
"Letty. " She whined.
"Please."
"Fine, but I'm stealing my brother and don't even try to take him away because he's my protection tonight."
"Please I don't need his protection anyways, you can have him."
"Gee, thanks babe."
"Sorry Dom but it's true and your sister needs you."
"So is everyone in?" Leon asked, seeming just as excited as Letty was to be going.
We all looked at each other and eventually shook our heads yes.
"Great! I'm going to go get the Ouija Board from Hector, who wants to drive me?"
"Hector has the Ouija Board?" I question a bit surprised.
"Well his grandmother does, she's into all this shit, and we use to play with it when we were younger."
"You know they say playing with a Ouija board can open your soul so the Devil and shit." Vince told us.
"Says who?" Letty asked
"Everyone." He told her.
"Well I'm fine." She informed.
"I'm not so sure of that." He said as he sipped his corona.
"Haha, that's so funny." Letty said unamused.
"I'll drive you Letty." Leon offered.
"Great let's go."
"I'll see you when you get back." I said before giving her a quick kiss goodbye.
Once they left I had both Vince and Mia staring at me.
"What?"
"You're really going to let her do this?" Mia asked.
"We're all doing it." I reminded her.
"This is crazy bro, that place is probably loaded with security."
"It's an abandon Hospital, they probably have one night guard, if that."
"I don't have a good feeling about this." Vince told me.
"What's going to happen?"
"We could get caught and charged with trespassing or breaking and entering, and may I remind you Dom that you are still on probation, you could go back to jail if we get caught."
"It's a hospital Vince, the place is huge, we could hide anywhere, and we could all probably out run whatever guard they have watching over the place."
"Whatever you say brother, I'm just letting you know that I have a bad feeling about this."
"We'll be fine." I insisted.
Mia went in the kitchen and made dinner so we could eat before we leave. It was done just a few minutes after Letty and Leon got back from getting the Ouija board so we all sat down and had a nice meal together.
"Well this could be our last meal as a family." Leon joked.
"That's not funny!" Mia yelled before punching him on the arm.
"I'm just joking, chill out Mia."
"Come on guys we'll all be fine, what can a ghost really do to us?" Letty stated.
"Kill us." Vince answered.
"V, I thought you said you weren't scared?"
"I'm not."
"You seem it."
"We will see who the scared one is at the end of the night."
"It won't be me V." Letty told him with a huge smile on her face.
After dinner we all piled into one car and drove to Boyle Heights.
"Where is thing supposed to be?" I asked as we got closer to the supposed location.
"Turn up here on Luis Street." Letty directed me.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure."
I drove down the street a sure enough there it was.
"I'm not going in there." Mia said in a scared tone.
"Come on Mia you have to." Letty told her.
"I don't even believe in ghost, why did I come." Vince added.
"You guys both need to quit it with the whinny bullshit because it's super annoying, let's just go in there see if we experience anything paranormal and then leave." Letty told them.
"Fine." They muttered.
"Babe, park down here that way our car doesn't seem suspicious but it's also close enough in case we need to make a run for it."
I could hear Mia and Vince mumble something, but I did as I was told. I honestly thought it was funny that they were scared to go in. It's not like it's actually haunted, we'll be fine.
"Let's go." Letty said as she hurried Mia out of the car so she could get out.
"Look there's the security guard right there?" Leon pointed out as we snuck around the bushes.
"There's two of them." Letty said.
"We'll have to find another entrance."
"Can't we just go home?" Mia whined.
"Not until we get inside." Letty grabbed my hand and lead us around to the back.
"There has to be another way in." She insisted.
"I don't see any other doors." Jesse told her.
"All hospitals have more than once entrance."
"Yeah but the guards we're guarding the front entrance and the door we saw on the side was all chained up and no body brought something that could help us break through the chains." He told her.
"There's got to be a back entrance."
"Right over here." Leon said and we all ran over to him.
"Is it unlocked?" Mia asked.
"No." Leon said as he continued to try and get the door to budge.
"Does anyone have a bobby pin?" Jesse asked.
"Don't look at me." Letty informed him.
"Yeah." Mia sighed as she pulled one out of her hair.
"Gonna pick the lock Jess?" Leon asked.
"I'm going to try."
"Come on guys, let's go see if a window or something is unlocked." Letty said and we all went on a search.
We tried all the windows but nothing would open and Jesse was having no luck on the door, it looks like we won't be getting in after all.
"Hey guys." Letty called quietly, so the guards didn't hear her.
We all came over to her so we could keep our voices down to a whisper.
"This windows cracked open." She smiled.
"There's no way, we just checked all these windows, and none of them would budge" Mia told her.
"Well you must have missed this one."
"No we didn't Letty, I check every single one myself." I told her.
"Well you must have gotten this one opened a bit and didn't even realize."
"I would have realized, especially if it opened that much, I could fit my whole hand in there."
"Well who's ready to see if it opens the rest of the way?"
"Do it baby girl." Leon said.
Letty pushed up on the window and it went up with no problem.
"That's impossible, I'm not going in there." Mia said.
"Keep your voice down, you're going to get us caught." I warned her.
"Dom I can't." She cried.
"Alright then go wait in the car."
"All by myself?"
"You're the one who doesn't want to go in."
She looked around trying to make a decision and she didn't leave so I guess she decided that she was staying.
"Who wants to go in first?" Letty asked. "Nobody?... Fine I'll go."
"Wait Let," I said stopping her.
"What?"
"Let me go first, just in case something's in there."
"There's nothing in there Dom."
"What if some creep snuck in or a hobo found a way to get in there, let me go in first and I'll make sure it's okay for everyone else."
"Fine." She sighed stepping away from the window.
I took the flash light from her and made my way through the window. It was so creepy in there that I almost just wanted to turn around and shut down this whole plan.
"Can I come in?" Letty asked peeking inside
"Yeah, but stay close."
She made her way inside and came right up to me.
"How close do you want me Dom?" She whispered into my ear as she wrapped her arms around me from behind.
I smiled but didn't say anything back because the others started piling in, Mia of course was the last one in and she went to me causing Letty to let go.
"Look at this place it's so cool." Letty said as she took out her phone and started using it as a flashlight.
"It's so creepy." Mia added.
"Creepy but cool." Leon said.
"Oh my God what is this?" Mia said as she grabbed tightly onto my arm.
"They look like hand prints." I told her as I flashed some light on the wall.
"That's sick." Vince said, "It looks like they're printed with blood."
"Gross." Mia whined as she scrunched her nose.
"So cool." Letty said coming up to the wall.
"You're one weird chick." Vince said to her before walking away from it.
"Come on guys let's have a look around."
"I'm not moving." Mia said seriously.
"Come on Mia, you're already in here, what's the worst that can happen?" Leon asked her.
"A ghost could jump out and kill me." She stated
"You watch way too many scary movies." Letty laughed.
"Where do you want to do the Ouija Board?" Jesse asked.
"We have to find an old hospital room or something, somewhere that someone probably died in."
"Where do you think we are now?" Mia asked.
"I don't know, it could be a lobby or waiting room." Jesse answered.
"It's so creepy in here, what if we get caught?" Mia questioned.
"We're not going to get caught." Leon assured her.
"You don't know that." Mia insisted.
"If you're so sure that we're going to get caught then why didn't you wait in the car?"
"Because it's just as scary to be out in a car by myself, in the middle of the night, in this freaking neighborhood as it is be in here." She told him.
"Fair enough."
"My bags too full to be carrying this around, here Letty why you don't take this." Jesse said as he grabbed the Ouija board to hand to her.
I was waiting for her to reach out and take it but I didn't see her hand. I flashed my flash light around but I didn't see her anywhere.
"Where did she go?" Mia asked concerned.
"Letty." I called but not too loud, I didn't want the guards to be able to hear us.
"Letty." everyone started calling but barely above a whisper.
"Dom, I'm really scared what if something happened to her?"
"She's fine Mia, nothing happened."
"Then where is she?"
"I don't know she must have walked off or something."
"Why would she do that?"
"I don't know."
"Guys she's not in here." Vince said.
"Why don't we split up and search for her." I said calmly even though I was panicking.
"No way, we're sticking together." Mia said.
"Yeah, I agree with Mia on this one man we should stay together." Vince told me.
"Why don't me and Jesse got down this hallway here and search for her and you and the two scardy cats go search down that hallway." Leon suggested to me.
"Sounds good. Do you have a flashlight?"
"Yeah." He said before flashing it in my eyes.
"Meet back here in twenty minutes, regardless."
"Alright, see you in twenty minutes." Leon said before him and Jesse walked off.
"Come on lets go." I said.
We started down the hallway, I had Mia attached to my hip and Vince right behind me.
"Look at all the writing on the walls." Vince said as he we walked down the dark hallway.
"Do you think it's from the patients that use to be here or just random people who broke in?" Mia asked.
"Random people." Vince answered.
"Letty!" I called as we continued walking.
Suddenly I heard a loud crash and pulled my baby sister in as close as I could get her.
"What the hell was that?" Vince asked.
I shined the light down the hall and it looked like an old hospital bed had been pushed out and crashed into the wall.
"Dom can we please go." Mia cried into my chest.
"Not until we find Letty." I told her.
"Where are you going?" She asked as I took a step forward.
"Down there."
"Dom we can't, didn't you just see that?"
"What if it was Letty?"
"Dom, Letty wouldn't have done that, it was too loud, she would have risked us getting caught." Vince said.
"Well we have to see what it was." I insisted.
I could tell neither of them wanted to but we made our way down the hallway.
"This is the room." I said stopping a few feet before it.
"I'm not going in there." Mia insisted.
"You don't have to, stay here with Vince and I'll go in."
"Dom don't." She said as she clung onto my shirt.
"I'll be right back, I promise." I told her before making her let go of my shirt in walking into the room.
It was pitch black and I was honestly scared to death, I flashed the light on the wall and saw and old bed and a bush of writing, in really big letters it said 'Death is near'. This room gave a really bad feeling so I turned to go out when something jumped on back. It happened right by the door way so Mia saw and she screamed, Vince quickly covered her mouth though and soon laughter by one person filled the room.
"You guys should have seen your faces." Letty laughed as she jumped off my back.
"Letty that was so not funny, but I'm glad it was you and not some demon." Mia said as she pulled her into a hug.
"I have to admit that was a good one." Vince said once his breathing calmed down.
I could tell she was waiting for me to say something but I was so pissed that I couldn't even muster up words to say to her, instead I grabbed her wrist and started to walk back down the hall, towards the way we came.
"We heard the screams and we came running as fast as we could." Leon said as we ran into each other.
"No worries, it was just Letty, her ugliness just scared us a little." Vince joked
"Funny." Letty said punching him in the arm.
"I don't mean to bring the bad news but I think the guards heard the scream because we heard them radioing each other, on our way here. We managed to doge them but we need to get out of here." Jesse told us.
"I agree." Mia said.
"We didn't even get to use the Ouija board." Letty whined.
"Well maybe if we didn't have to waste time searching for you we would have got to us it." Vince told her.
"Come on this place is huge, we can just go up a couple of stories and to the other side of the hospital, we'll be in a totally opposite direction then where the scream came from." She insisted.
"Can't we just go?" Mia asked.
"Maybe we should just leave." I said.
"Come on Dom, don't chicken out now." Letty said as she wrapped her hands around my waist.
"Yeah the fun has just begun." Leon said shinning the light on us.
"Fine," I said but I wasn't happy about it.
"Yes." Leon said high fiving Jesse.
"Thanks baby." Letty whispered as she reached up to kiss me, I turned my head away though because I was still pissed at her. "Don't be like that." She mumbled as she placed kisses down my neck.
"Alright love birds lets go." Vince said.
She managed to get a quick peck on the lips before letting go of me. I kept a hold of her wrist though just to make sure she didn't go off again.
We made our way up a couple of flights of stairs and down a hallway or two so we were on the opposite side of the hospital.
"Should we go find an old hospital bed to make out in?" Letty asked as she slipped her hand in my back pocket.
"No." I said taking her hand away.
"Come on don't be like that."
"What you did back there was not cool."
"I'm sorry, I didn't know it would scare you that bad."
"I wasn't scared Letty I was worried, you had me thinking that something happened to you."
"What would have happened?"
"I don't know Letty, you're the one who's convinced this place is haunted."
"You can't tell me you didn't feel it too."
"Feel what?"
"That energy in that room back there, it made me feel so sick."
"I felt it." I admitted, "But just because I room gives off bad energy doesn't mean that it's haunted."
"Letty you said you wanted an old hospital room, what about this one?" Leon asked shinning the light into the room.
Letty tried to walk in there but I held her back.
"What do you think the room was used for?"
"Looks like an old operating room or something." Leon said walking into the room.
She finally managed to get free of my grasp and walked into the room. I followed behind her with Mia right by my side.
"It's weird that just left everything here, like the tools and shit." Jesse said as he picked up some objects.
"Why did they even close this place down? "Vince asked.
"It was originally built for the rail road workers but when they switched their insurance policies the hospital lost a lot of its patients and funding. So in order to save money the hospital became cheap and used a lot of outdated tools and medical equipment, causing there to be and increasing amounts of deaths. And because Boyle Heights isn't safest neighborhood they had a lot of gunshot victims and stabbings, which lead to more deaths and eventually they had to shut down their emergency department and as all the doctors left they had to close it down the whole hospital too." Letty told us.
"How do you know that?" Vince asked.
"I did research on the place before we came here."
"How long has it been shut down for?" Mia asked.
"Since 1991."
"Only a few years." Jesse said putting down the tools he was looking at.
"Did you heard that?" Mia asked as we all heard a loud bang.
"What was that?" Vince asked.
"I'll go check it out." Letty said.
"The hell you will." I said grabbing her arm to stop her.
"Vince you stay here with the girls, Leon, Jesse you come with me."
"I'll have the Ouija board set up when you get back."
"If they get back." Vince said.
"Vince don't say that." Mia said scared.
We walked down the hallway away from them but we didn't see anything, we were about to turn back when we heard it again. We followed the sound through a few hallways and found an old bathroom.
"Is somebody there?" Leon asked aloud.
"Hello." Jesse called.
"There's no one here." I told them.
"Did you hear that?" Leon asked.
"Here what?"
"That!" he said again.
That time I did hear it, it sounded like a man talking but I didn't see anyone.
"There it is again." Jesse said in a scared tone.
'Leticia' I heard the voice say.
We all looked at each other and darted off, we ran all the way back to the room that the others were in. I knew one thing, I was grabbing our stuff and getting out of there.
"Where did you guys go to, you were gone forever?" Mia said as we entered the room.
"Letty pack that shit up we're leaving." I ordered.
"Why?"
"Because I've had enough of this place, we need to get out of here."
"Come on don't be a baby."
"He's right Letty we should leave." Jesse told her.
"Oh, he didn't get to you did he Jesse? What about you Leon?"
"I think we should do whatever the group wants to do."
"I don't care what the group wants to do, we're leaving."
"Dom that's not fair."
"You and Leon are the only two that want to stay."
"Then let us stay."
"I'm not leaving here without you."
"Then you're staying, until I get to use this damn Ouija board and contact some freaking ghost."
"That's not a choice, I heard something back there Letty."
"Yeah right." She laughed.
"Something strange Let, and it said your name."
"You're crazy."
"He's not Letty we heard it too." Jesse told her.
"You guys can't be serious." She said placing her hands on her hips.
"Come on Letty can we please just leave?" Mia begged.
I saw Letty stare at Mia who was generally scared and she caved.
"Fine let's go."
"Thank you." Mia sighed in relief.
She put the board back in Jesse's bag and we tried to find our way back downstairs to where we came in.
"Hey, you there, stop where you are!"
"Oh shit!" I yelled. "Come on." I yelled to everyone.
I held onto Letty and Mia's hand and ran with them through the dark hallways, the guys were trailing behind but we were staying far enough ahead of the guard.
"Dom, what are we going to do?"
"Shit!" Letty yelled as we came to the stair case and had another flash light being shined on us.
"Come on follow me." Leon said as he led us away.
Both cops were hot on our trail, we were taking ever turn that we could in that place, we actually ended up going a few flights of stairs.
"Why are we going up, we need to go down?" Letty asked.
"We need to get away from the cops first." Leon said.
"In here." Jesse ordered and we all piled into the room.
"There's a bed right there, help me push it in front of the door." Leon said as we closed the door.
We pushed the bed and it ended up being pretty heavy.
"This looks like a baby's room." Letty stated.
"Yeah with creepy righting all over the walls." Mia said
"What are we going to do? They're going to find us soon and the bed's not going to hold them for long." Vince asked.
"There's a window." Letty suggested.
"No way we're too high up." Mia said.
"Look. It's an emergency escape window, the ladder looks like it it'll bring us most of the way down."
"So let's go we don't have time to waste." I told them. "Vince you go out first and then help the girls down."
"I don't need help." Letty informed me.
"This isn't a time to be stubborn, just go."
I knew Letty didn't like to be treated like a little kid, or someone who was incapable of taking care of themselves but I wasn't sure how far the drop was so I wanted a guy to go first. Vince was the largest besides me so I thought he'd be the one who could help the girls down the best if they needed help. I had to go last though, I needed to make sure everyone got down safely before I could go.
We watched Vince climb down the latter and he dropped down. It looked like he twisted his ankle on the landing but I couldn't be sure.
He waved us up at us so I sent Mia up and once she was half way down the ladder. Vince had them hang from the very last step and drop down, it was only about ten to fifteen feet, but he was there to help them the best he could. Jesse and Leon went out next and I went shortly after them, the drop wasn't as bad as I thought it was and we all made it out in one piece.
"Is everyone okay?" I asked.
"Fine." They all answered.
"Let's gets get out of here then."
We walked out to the front of the building and we saw police cars.
"Shit." I mumbled.
"What are we going to do?" Mia asked as we hide on the side of the building.
"Make a run for it?" Letty suggested.
"I can see the car from here, if we all go on the count of three the police won't even notice until we're half way there." Jesse said.
"Vince how's the ankle?" I asked.
"I can make it."
"On the count of three… One …. Two… Three." I said and we all darted off.
Letty has always been the fastest out of the bunch so it was no surprise the she was pretty far ahead of us.
"Stop!" We heard police yell, but none of us listened.
I felt a sense of relief in me when we got to the car and all piled in.
"Go, go, go!" Vince yelled to me as he slammed the door shut.
"Oh my god, the police are following us!" Mia cried.
"Don't worry Mi, I'll lose them."
"The last time I heard that, we drove through a retainer wall." Mia reminded me.
"Hey, at least we got away." Letty said trying to defend herself.
"We almost died."
"You're so dramatic."
"I hate to butt into your conversation but Dom you need to speed it up!" Vince said in a panic.
I did as I was told, I drove as fast as the car would let me, and dodge through all the traffic that came our way, I took turn after turn but nothing shook them off.
"Dom, you need to do something." Letty said.
I was trying to think what I could do but nothing could shake. I kept driving though, I was breaking about every driving law possible but there was no way I was getting pulled over. We were coming onto a main high way and just as got onto it, I took a sharp turn off the road, drove down the hill, through the grass and onto a lower road, I was going in the total opposite direction then I needed to be going in but, my whole point was to get away from the cops. This gave me a more time and separation from the car.
"Mia sit on Letty's lap for a second."
"Why?"
"Just do it."
She moved onto Letty's lap like she was told, I reached over them and pulled up the seat, I switched on my NOS.
"Get back in your seat and buckle up." I told her.
She looked at me scared but did what she was told once again.
"Hold on." I warned them, then I hit my NOS and we went flying down the street.
It put a good distance between us and the cops, I took a few more turns just in case, and then I made the right turn to go home and started off.
"Do you think they're gone?" Mia asked.
"Yeah, I don't see any police." I told her.
"Me either." Vince said from the back.
"That was so much fun." Letty said with a huge smile on her face.
We gave her a look but no one said anything.
"What?" She asked.
But I just kept driving and everything was quiet for the rest of the ride home, which was over an hour long.
When we got back to the fort, everyone was beat and went to their rooms for the night. I went to bathroom and when I came back to my room I heard Letty on the phone with someone.
She hung up when I came in and just smiled at me.
"Who was that?"
"No one special."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Then let me see."
She sighed but handed me her phone.
"Hector?" Why we're you calling Hector?"
"Just because and I told you it was no one special." She said trying make a joke of the situation.
"Do you always call Hector this late at night?"
"No, not usually."
"So why tonight?"
"Because I needed to talk to him."
"About what?"
"Why does it matter?"
"Cause I want to know."
"Well it's none of your business."
"Your business is my business, that part of being in a relationship."
"I'll remember you said that."
"So why?"
"I wanted to make sure he got home safe."
"Home from where."
"Nowhere."
"Letty?"
She took a deep breath then sat down on the bed.
"You can't get mad at me."
"I won't if you just tell me why you're calling another guy in the middle of the night."
"It's nothing like that Dom." She said with a slightly disgusted look on her face that made me smile.
"Then what is it."
"When Leon and I went over to borrow the Ouija board Hector asked what we were going to do with it, so I told him and him and Edwin wanted to tag along. But both I and Leon thought it would be funnier to see if we could scare you guys. So we sent them over to the hospital before we even came home, they found away in and helped us scare you guys."
"So that voice I heard?"
"Was one of them."
"Not cool Let."
"I know but I just wanted to have some fun, everyone's been so uptight lately and we needed some excitement in or lives. We're so young, yet we're all working like a bunch of adults."
"Most of us are adults." I reminded her.
"I know but that doesn't mean you have to act like it all the time."
"I get it, I was the same way when I was sixteen."
"So you're not mad?"
"No, but don't ever do something like that again, especially without letting me in on it."
"I won't, I promise."
"Good, now let's go to bed, I'm exhausted."
