Also, a guest reviewer mentioned that someone's translated my story into Portuguese. Someone asked me awhile back if that would be okay, and I said I'd prefer it not be translated just because I wanted to keep my story in only one place. Plus i figured stuff would be lost in translation.

If anyone could let me know where this translation is posted, I'd really appreciate it. I'm not angry, as long as they aren't taking credit for the actual work and let people know that it's a translation of my original work.

Ch. 38 Homecoming Part 5 – Dancing the Dance

Spencer's POV – School Gym

"Good job Hanna," I say sarcastically. "Now Emily's dancing with Paige."

"Why does that bother you?" Hanna retorts, looking me directly in the eyes.

"It doesn't," I lie, staring straight back at her.

"You're a terrible liar," Hanna growls.

"I don't know what you're talking about," I smirk, folding my arms across my chest.

"Just admit it Spence. You're in love with her."

"Even if I was, why would that bother you?" I turn it back around on Hanna. Not fully admitting my feelings, just staying ambiguous as always.

"So you admit it?"

"Admit what? I was asking you why it would bother you so much if I did love Emily."

"You wanna know why?" Hanna glares at me.

"Yes. I want to know why," I seethe.

"It's because I love her," Hanna tells me, her stony exterior giving way to a vulnerable one.

"I... I... what?" I stutter, shocked at the admission. Not believing that one of us has finally come out and said it. We've been dancing this dance for so long, poking, prodding, and playing with each other that I can't believe it's true. I was right all along. Hanna and I are both in love with the same girl. Hanna and I are both in love with Em.

"I said that I love her," Hanna tells me again. "I've always loved her. I've just been too afraid to tell her. How do you tell your best friend that you're in love with them? What if she doesn't love me back?"

"I don't know what to say," I whisper.

"Just tell me. Do you love her too?" Hanna begs me.

I contemplate telling her the truth. She probably already knows anyways. But before I find the courage to admit my feelings, my phone buzzes at me. I take out my phone and look at the text. It's from -A.

Where's Aria? - A

Suddenly I'm aware that I haven't seen Aria in awhile. I look around the gym in a panic and I can't see her anywhere.

"What's wrong?" Hanna asks me.

I show her the text message.

"Crap!" Hanna shouts. "We have to find her!"

"Let's get Em to help."

"Good idea," Hanna agrees.

We bolt towards Emily and Paige and break up their dance.

"Em, we need you!" Hanna and I both say at the same time, as I realize the irony of our words.

"What is it?" Emily asks, concerned.

"We have to talk in private," I explain, giving Emily a knowing look.

"Okay. Paige, are you okay if I leave for a minute?" Emily asks sweetly. She's always so kind and polite. Typical Emily.

"Yeah, sure," Paige shrugs.

"Good, because we need to go now!" I urge, pulling on Emily's arm to leave the gym.

The three of us race out into the hallway.

"What's going on?" Emily asks.

"It's -A. They've taken Aria!"

"What? That can't be. She was just standing by the punch bowl a minute ago," Emily cries.

"She's not in the gym anymore. -A must have her. I got this text." I show Emily the text from -A.

"We should split up," Emily suggests.

"Are you sure that's safe?" I argue.

"Em's right," Hanna agrees with Emily. "We'll cover more ground that way."

Emily and I both look at Hanna, surprised by Hanna's words. Normally I'm the one that would say something like that.

"You're right," I agree. "Just make sure we all have our phones on and call or text as soon as anything happens."

A/N: It's finally out. Hanna's admitted to Spencer how she really feels about Em. How will this change the dance they've been dancing? What did you all think?
