Sometimes life doesn't go the way you plan. And sometimes things are better that way. In Sakura and Syaoran's case? Well….it's hard to say if their first date went exactly as planned. If it had maybe Syaoran wouldn't have had to work harder to win Sakura over. And if that didn't happen well- maybe Tomoyo Daidouji wouldn't still be the master of all things romance. Okay- you're right, that's totally false. But she likes to think of herself that way. However, there is one thing for certain…her methods well definitely made-

The Li's have it rough…

***Meiling***

The sight of all the Li sisters was in and of itself a surprise, but to see them with Daidouji-san did more than just give me a shock. Immediately, without question, I knew it had something to do with that little impromptu date Syaoran had set up with Kinomoto-san. Why else would Syaoran's sisters be in front of my school of all places?

Well Syaoran goes here too but whatever.

After that horrific time we cheerleaders spent in that awful rain cheering for, though I hate to admit it, a less than stellar team practice- I found myself exiting the girl's locker room right at the moment Daidouji-san was heading in, shouting Sakura-chaaan~ in that really creepy obsessive tone of hers.

At the time I thought it was strange, after all Kinomoto-san had said goodbye to me at least twenty minutes ago, her hair still damp but put up into a cute short ponytail- seriously that girl looks cute no matter what and it's not fair, it's really not- but anyway I knew Sakura wasn't in there. I paid little attention to it and headed to my locker. After carefully slipping off my school shoes and placing them back into my locker I was, to say that least, not surprised to hear the shrill shriek that resounded throughout the building.

Sakura Kinomoto had left school without telling Tomoyo Daidouji, her best friend mind you, that she was leaving. Now, according to my well varied sources, okay that one time I asked Chiharu-san, Daidouji-san and Kinomoto-san were inseparable. Well, I smirked to myself at that time; looks like Sakura had finally had enough of Daidouji's matchmaking.

Apparently Daidouji had not though, and seeing Syaoran's sisters suddenly at the front of the school made me really fear for my dear Syao….

"What do you mean Sakura-chan isn't here? I thought we were going to have a girl's night out …" Fanran pursed her lips. Huh girls' night out? Oh right I vaguely remember that was a thing. Sort of, Syaoran's impromptu date had taken up all my thoughts for a while. Sure, I'm still looking for that perfect guy to replace Syaoran but until then- well I can't deny my feelings. I can't help it that I still like him.

"Like I said Li-kun made me have to change plans. He decided to ask Sakura-chan out on a date. I was going to ask you all to help lead them along…I mean I certainly didn't think Li-kun had anything planned." Daidouji-san began. "But apparently I didn't give him enough credit."

You always think you know best, don't you Daidouji-san.

"Aw! That's our Syao! Well I say we let the two of them have a little fun and we all go shopping in Tokyo~!" Fanran turned to her sisters and was met with similar enthusiasm. All of took each other's hands and jumped up and down, squealing and shrieking about new shoes.

"EXCUSE ME!" Daidouji-san suddenly shouted. The Li sisters froze. "Thank you~ Well before you girls go shopping could you give me a little information on where your brother might take a girl out on a date?"

Huh, this is interesting. The great matchmaking Tomoyo Daidouji has no idea where her victims are? Oooh this is great! Well for Syaoran, for me this is just simply entertaining. I wonder…

"We haven't spoken to Syao about things like that. So I can't really say any of us know where he'd take a girl. Much less a girl like Sakura, who we really don't know all that much about…" Feimei put a finger to her lips in thought.

I was probably going to regret this later. But honestly I needed a little fun tonight and it looked like Daidouji-san needed a little "help," finding her dear Sakura-chan. I moved out of my hiding place behind the gate and made my way towards the group.

"Daidouji-san!" I called, waving my hand. "I think I can help you find Syaoran and Kinomoto-san!"

***Syaoran***

What did a guy do to deserve a moment like this? Sakura Kinomoto was fast asleep, resting her head on my shoulder. After we left the café we immediately headed towards Tomoeda Station. She just went along with me dragging her there, strangely enough, then fell right asleep once we sat down. Apparently Kinomoto gets really sleepy after eating strawberry cheesecake. Though, I don't think the lull of the humming electricity running through the wires overhead helped, nor did the sky just barely turning pink behind us.

I could go into detail about how I stared longingly at her soft pink lips but I'm not that kind of guy. No really I'm not, I've spent the past twenty minutes staring at the blurring scenery in front of me. Desperately not to doing that. Though I do have to say her lips are soft-

The train lurched forward, nudging Sakura awake. Her eyes fluttered open. Slowly she lifted her eyes to meet mine. "Mm? Syaoran?"

I found myself smiling, no honorifics huh? She must barely be awake. "Yeah, the one and only. Sleep well?"

Sakura's eyes widened. She looked at how close we were then slide a few inches away from me. Well that woke her up. But…that would have been nice for her to sleep just a bit longer. Sakura fidget with her skirt for a few moments before responding.

"I slept fine, thanks. " She mumbled, her cheeks barely pink. "Hope I wasn't asleep too long…kinda embarrassing." Sakura drew herself in and tucked a stray hair behind her ear. I never really thought about it but she does have really cute ears…

It took a moment for me to notice her staring at well my staring. "What? Is something on my face?"

I felt blood rush to my cheeks, damn, I stared too long. I swallowed then quickly turned away. "No it's nothing."

"Okaaay…" I heard her utter. Not long after she continued. "So, where are we going exactly?"

I reluctantly brought my attention back to her. Sakura had already turned to look outside the window. For a second the sun shinned in my face, however, all it did was just make me realize how hard I really fell for this girl. I was beginning to think how pretty her hair looked in the light. Ugh I know weird right? Okay okay okay, got to play it cool.

"You'll see. " I said, leaning back.

Sakura frowned then went back to looking out the window. "Anyone could tell we were getting on the train to Tokyo. You could just tell me where we're going it's not a big deal."

"Ah, Kinomoto Sakura doesn't like to be in the dark huh?" I sent her a cheeky grin, and promptly earned a sudden punch to the arm. I do have to say, sometimes she really is a kaiju. "Ouch, oh come on Sakuraaaa" I whined leaning onto her shoulder she moved further away from me. In response I put on my best smile then got even closer. "We all want a little fun in life!"

"What are you five?!" She squeaked.

Yes, Sakura Kinomoto squeaked. And it sounded like a mixture between a mouse and a squeaky toy.

"No, but I often wonder if you are Kinomoto." I tried hard not to laugh, but that pout of hers sent me over the edge.

Sakura responded by giving me another punch to the arm, lighter this time. "Whatever, so where are we going anyway? You still haven't told me anything."

"Well you'll just have to wait and see." I smirked. Ah Kinomoto your curiosity and frustration give me so much joy. It's so much fun to see you all riled up. The train jolted to a stop, making Kinomoto reluctantly fall over on me. I tried not to blush a thousand shades redder than normal as she had landed right into my arms. I don't think I've been this close to her ever.

"I…um…" I froze. I-I honestly have no idea how to get out of this right now….

Luckily Kinomoto did though, and quickly jolted up off of me. "T-this is our stop right? I'll head out first then…" Standing up straight robotically she began to head towards the sliding metal doors. Not wanting to well miss my chance to get off the train, jogged after her. I have to say though she did look very cute just then.

***Meiling****

"Daidouji-san, really, you need to calm down. Maybe it's a good think Syaoran and Kinomoto-san are alone for a while. I mean they need to get to know each other, how else are they going to break-" Daidouji suddenly started glaring at me. "Uh…break my heart by um falling madly in love?"

I've been treading lightly around Daidouji-san when we're alone…but that's not really the case right now. After ditching the Li sisters the two of us, with that freak Hiiragizawa in tow, headed to the train station to catch a ride to Tokyo. I noticed earlier that Syaoran had been looking on his phone for train times to there-no I wasn't breathing over his shoulder I just sort of leaned close enough to watch him surf the net. No he didn't freak and look at me like I was crazy! Okay…maybe he did…but that's beside the point!

The three of us were waiting for said train, arriving at 5 o'clock, it's half past four, at the platform. It's been insufferable standing next to these two. Every few minutes Daidouji would text Sakura, stare at her phone, then steam for a few minutes while pacing. Hiiragizawa meanwhile…

I took another look at him. Hiiragizawa was just standing there, smiling, watching Daidouji-san as if all of this was completely normal. How did he fall for this chick? Okay, I'm nuts Syaoran? Really? Really now?! I huffed then crossed my arms. Daidouji-san stopped her pacing and took out her phone.

"I'll calm down once I find Sakura. She's not answering her phone…." Daidouji muttered, sending yet another text. I swear this woman has sent over a hundred in the past thirty minutes. Kinomoto must really be having a good time with Syaoran….otherwise she must have her phone on silent because there is no way someone could not hear that many texts popup. It'd sound like the phone was actually ringing.

I sighed, then locked eyes with Hiiragizawa. I gave him a disgusted look, and as expected he just smiled. There is something seriously wrong with these two. Syaoran, why did you have to fall for a girl with strange friends? I question your tastes. I wonder if you're actually really stupid and blind when it comes to love.

****Syaoran****

"Syaoran! You are an angel!"

Normally this statement would prompt me into saying- well officially telling Kinomoto that yes, I am an angel and she should be very grateful that I've done something this nice for her but-

I think I've unleased a kaijuu onto the streets of Akihabara.

Sakura let out a muted squeal as we approached some- well I'm guessing it's a video-game store. In the windows were large posters, one depicting a group of me dressed in Samurai-style clothes, and the others in various school uniforms. I'm guessing these are for those dating Otome games Meiling mentioned once. I thought she was only interested in manga and RPGS. What did I sign up for with this? I wonder if I should be scared right now.

As I followed Kinomoto further in I began to realize just how bad of an idea this was. The moment we entered I was horrified to see nothing but rows and rows of tapestries depicting guys in swim-trunks, and huge body pillows of 2D men pictured laying down on sheets in…what I'm assuming are supposed to be seductive poses.

I was almost too horrified to follow her in. The eyes of the shopkeepers were on me the minute I came in after her, quite a few of them looked almost…pleased I was in there? Which was weird….One of them, while holding a body pillow of one of the swim-trunks dudes bit her thumb and I swear her eyes sparkled underneath her thick rimmed glasses.

As more eyes started to focus on me I quickly took Kinomoto's hand. She paused for a moment, shocked as I was for even doing it, but soon she lost all interest and headed into an isle filled with merchandise of those samurai characters.

I kept a firm hold on her hand. All those piercing stares seemed to soften into more of interested passing glances. It took me a moment to grasp but happened. But now I fully get it.

Strangely a lot of the women in this otome game store were in fact those so called yaoi fans. I think Yamazaki called them fujoshi or something…no idea. I'd rather not think on it further.

"OMG, Syaoran! They have it they have it!"

Sakura's squealing alerted me to well the probably more complicated matter at hand. Before I knew it Kinomoto was uncharacteristically close to my face, with…a gigantic grin on her face. I swallowed.

"U-Um what is it Kinomoto?"

Sakura's grin disappeared, as if she noticed how uncomfortable I was feeling. "Like I just said I found it." She held up a thick box decorated with anime boys in school uniforms. As I stared at it Sakura looked at me as if I was supposed to know what any of this meant. I glanced away for a second, only to still have her expectant eyes still on me. I sighed.

"Oh well that's good. I heard you talking about some game at lunch earlier…is this it?"

"Wow, you uh actually remembered." Sakura stated raising a brow. Not a second later she looked back down at her…Colorful Love Edition? "Syaoran?" Sakura's voice broke my train of thought-

"What?"

"Well this is all I wanted so….ready to go?" Sakura eyed me as if she felt like she needed to tip-toe around me. Well…I do have to say…this has been a jarring experience. I have no idea whether I'm competing with 2D boys or if I'm concerned those girls don't think I'm Kinomoto's kind boyfriend who's here to carry her bags.

I'd rather it be the former. I can easily make her forget 2D anime boys. What's better than the real thing right?

"Yeah sure let's go." I nodded as Kinomoto made her way to the checkout counter. I just stood behind her until the cashier gave her the total. Before Kinomoto could even take out her wallet I had already paid for it. I gave the cashier a look, silently signaling that yes, she is my girlfriend.

The bespectacled woman took the money then handed me back the change. ….Yeah no reaction oh well I don't care…I really don't care. The two of us then finally headed out of there. I breathed a sigh of relief, feeling freed from the evil eyes of fujoshi. Not like, there's anything wrong with them but don't bring me into your fantasies ladies. That is where I draw the line.

"Thanks Syaoran-kun! I really appreciate it. I had no idea you knew it was my birthday tomorrow…." Sakura stated, clutching her game tightly. Her slightly shy glance made my heart skip a beat- then I realized what she said and my heart rate went up ten-fold.

"H-huh?" Wait-what?! Kinomoto's Birthday but that's April-I looked over at that large poster boasting that group of Samurai men-the release date stated March 31st- then back at Kinomoto's game baring the same name. ….It's April 1st and I forgot it was Kinomoto's Birthday tomorrow…

"Syaoran? Did you…just buy me this because you wanted to? You…had no idea it was my Birthday tomorrow did you?" Kinomoto smirked at me.

"N-no! Of course I knew." I played it as cool as I possibly could, even adding in a smirk back at her for good measure.

"No you didn't. It's tomorrow, dummy. I'll forgive you this once." Sakura stuck out her tongue playfully then skipped further down the street, leaving me dumbfounded. Honestly I don't think I've ever been duped by Kinomoto before. Wait a sec- what date is it then? "Hey Kinomoto isn't your birthday the 1st of April!"

Sakura stopped as I jogged up behind her. Once I caught up she turned around with sly smirk on her face. "Syaoran you've never heard of breaking street date have you?" She stated as if I was completely stupid.

Breaking street date…isn't that what stores try not to do? Well, it's not unheard of. Probably around here it happens all the time.

"Today's still March 31st." I sighed, slumping my shoulders. Sakura patted my head, which oddly wasn't a bad thing.

"Oh poor Syaoran." Sakura pouted. Honestly Sakura sometimes I really don't get you. Oh well I'm not complaining. She did get me good and this isn't that bad-

"Kaijuu- what are you doing here?"

An all too familiar voice called out to eyes. I felt a chill up my spine and imagined a thousand tiny daggers pointed at my back. Great, just as I was getting comfortable...

"Onii-chan?! What are you doing here?"

And that just confirmed all I needed to know.

"Kinomoto-san." I turned around with a grin on my face. "Did not think we'd be seeing you- what are you wearing?"

Before me was quite the sight to behold. Kinomoto Touya, the man with eyes that could bore themselves into your soul and slowly swallow it up- was in a butler's outfit, carrying flyers, in Akihabara. I did not know I needed to see this until now. Also, Cat ears, that is all I'm going to say. It took all of five seconds looking at him for me to break into laughter, and for Sakura to elbow me so hard in the side I ended up in a coughing fit.

"Just ignore him." Sakura admitted. "But really what are you doing here Onii-chan? I thought you worked part-time at that convenience store…"

As I was still trying to overcome the intense pain Sakura left me with, red-faced Touya, with a crinkled stack of flyers in his hand responded. "Well Sakura, when you go to college, and try to pay for it yourself- Sometimes you have to take on part-time jobs that aren't necessarily that great. Also my other job only gives me Monday-Thursday shifts."

"Ooooooh." Sakura voiced her awe a little too long. I swear Kinomoto Touya had a small vein pulsing on his forehead.

"Well either way nice to see you Kinomoto-san." I stated with a grin, only having just gotten my diaphragm working again. I really want to get a rise out of him. It's really entertaining to see these Kinomoto's get so riled up. It really, really is.

"…Why are you here with my sister?" Kinomoto Touya's voice suddenly darkened. Oh? Did you guess already Onii-chan? Why yes I am on a date with your sister-

"Oh, Syaoran heard me talking about this game at lunch so he came with to buy it as my Birthday present. " Sakura deadpanned.

I froze, then slowly turned to look in horror at Kinomoto. She was just standing there, with a smile on her face, staring at her Onii-chan. I-I don't think I've been this disappointed in a while. As Kinomoto Touya's scowl turned into a smirk, my pride died. Well went into hibernation, anyway.

"Oh. I see. Well you still want that PSVita system right?"

"Wah- well yeah! Heck yeah!" Sakura nodded furiously.

"Well good. Because I'm buying it, got it gaki?" Kinomoto Touya set his eyes on me.

"Okay sure, whatever." I stated. Hmm well at least he knows I'm serious. I guess. I have no idea what to think right now. ….I thought I told Sakura this was a date.

Kinomoto Touya stared at me a moment, then his eyes widened slightly. I followed his gaze and…well this day just got worse. Oh joy.

"Yuki, what are you doing here?"

Ah, that name. The name of my current rival. Just great. Sakura, in my mind, turned around in slow motion. Her mouth slowly opened into a large mouthy smile as she spoke those next few words. "Yukito-san! It's so good to see you!"

Fate is against me isn't it? I turned around as well, and met the same unchanging smile that I saw the other day. That white Rabbit was carrying a large brown paper bag full of various foods it looked like. Leeks, bread, and a liter of soda was sticking out of the top. This is the second time I've seen this guy paired with food.

"It's nice to see you too Sakura! And-" the white rabbit turned to look at me for moment. "Li-kun…right?"

Ah yes, I'm very easy to forget and you're hard to forget. I wish you could be. Calm down, you're a Li, you're good at performing under pressure. Try to pretend to be civil.

"Tsukishiro-san right? Hello." I replied curtly.

The white rabbit kept that same smile as he nodded at me. "Yes. I knew you and Sakura-chan were dating. You two are so cute together."

Why yes we are-wait what?! My jaw dropped.

"Y-y-yukito-san! Ww-we're not dating okay! Th-this is um-" Sakura looked frantically between Yukito and her brother. Upon looking at the boiling fury surfacing from the elder Kinomoto, I'm beginning to think that was the worst thing Tsukishiro could have ever done. "Syaoran is thanking me for helping him pass his kanji test in lit class!" she squeaked then sent me a pleading look.

Ah…right…that did happen. Okay Kinomoto I'm good with that. Anything to save my life.

"Yeah that's all this is. I really owe her one. Plus she said she'd only help me if I bought her any video game she wanted." I replied, then pointed at the bag in her hands. Sakura looked down at it then began nodding furiously in agreement.

"Ah-oh I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to misunderstand!" the white rabbit genuinely looked embarrassed about his assumption-which was right I am dating Kinomoto even if it's on a trial basis. His face turned red.

Sakura, her face red as well, laughed nervously. "So-um yeah. He's treating me for the day really."

"That's really nice-well what you did too Sakura." The white rabbit laughed nervously.

"Ahahaha yeah." Sakura replied.

For the next two minutes the two of them laughed back and forth, while Touya's rage began to simmer. I looked down at his hand. Those fliers were completely worthless now. Suddenly Touya straightened up.

"I have to go back to work. Get home safe Kaijuu. Yuki, see you later." Touya stated plainly then went off down the street.

All three of us breathed a sigh of relief. I really did not want to lose my life tonight. I'm only 16, my life has barely started okay?

"Sorry about that you two… I said that without thinking…." The white rabbit stated.

Ah so the white rabbit really is just stupid. Well his stupidity almost cost me my life.

"It's okay! Onii-chan just…well you know Onii-chan." Sakura replied fluffing her collar. Yeah I broke a sweat too Kinomoto, waay too close to dying right then and there.

"Yeah Touya probably shouldn't know you two are on a date…yet anyway." The white Rabbit smiled at Sakura then sent me a wink.

"Um…yeah…" I really thought that he had been convinced that we weren't on a date…

"Y-Yukito-san we're um-um…" Sakura looked around as if she were a frightened Chihuahua. I guess she's still worried about Touya being around. After realizing that Touya was now out of sight she let out a breath. "It's a trial basis kind of thing." She stated.

I felt as if a huge rock had fallen onto my head. Seriously Kinomoto? I mean it's true but did you have to tell him about it?

"Trial…basis?" the rabbit turned to give me a look, that said "wow do I feel bad for you." Well I really didn't think I'd get this far with her so I'd say I'm doing just fine….probably.

"Yeah just -like um-we're testing the waters, or something." Sakura brushed off his question as if it didn't really matter. I am beginning to wonder just how seriously she's taking this "date," if I can even really call it that now…

"Oh so you're just dating." Yukito stated. Yeah pretty much but I'd appreciate you not telling Kinomoto that. She only agreed to this under the pretense of it not being a "real" date.

"No-no-no! It's a trial thing, as in like those thirty day trial thingies." Kinomoto said this as if she were trying to convince herself more so than the rabbit. If she keeps going like this our "date" might really end. I began to mouth to the rabbit to "let it go" and "just go with it" hoping he would get the hint. All the rabbit did was nod at Sakura's explanations while trying to guess what I was saying.

"Oh, okay I see." The rabbit stated then snapped his fingers. "Hey, why don't I treat you two to some crepes as an apology? I know this great place down the street."

"Yukito-san you really don't have to apologize for anything really!" Sakura insisted.

Yeah, really, please don't. If you really wanted to apologize you would just let us go.

"No really, I insist." The rabbit put his hand on Sakura's shoulder. Sakura's face flushed red. I swallowed.

Sakura turned to me. Her eyes told me that she was gauging my reaction. I was actually really surprised that she even cared at this point. I can't read her that well when it comes to what she really thinks of me. But right now…I could tell that she was in a hard place. The rabbit was a family friend, of course she'd want to be polite. The fact that she was showing me the same curtesy….

Kind of hurt a little bit. Come on now Li, you can do this. Remember you said you'd make her forget about him right? I took a deep breath.

"Sure, that'd be fine." I stated, clenching my teeth. It was really hard to keep my true feelings from showing. Preferably I would just take Sakura's hand and just ditch this guy. But Sakura wouldn't like that…and the whole point of this is to…

Damn it Li. You're supposed to make her happy. Remember that.

Sakura's face lit up at my words. She mouthed a quick thank you. I reddened. Even if she was happy because of someone else…

That smile of hers really was cute.

"Great! Come on it's down the street." The rabbit stated. He grabbed Sakura's hand, making my skin crawl, and began to lead her away. Sakura glanced over at me, looking slightly confused. I shrugged, I really have no idea either Kinomoto. All I know is that it really ticks me off. Not like I'm going to say anything, it'd just make Kinomoto more uncomfortable. I continued to follow them of course, feeling really like the world was against me and Sakura.

Honestly, it probably was.

****Meiling****

After an eternity long train ride with Daidouji-san and Hiiragizawa-kun I found myself staring at the sign to a butler café. I remembered once we got to Tokyo that Syaoran had been looking at Akihabara's webpage. I know I said I gave up on him okay? But that doesn't mean my habit of watching him all day can be broken in one day! I've done it for years, habits like that are hard to break.

"Ugh! Where is sheeeee?!"Daidouji-san shrieked. We'd figured out that the two of them had been at a videogame store a short while ago. How? It's Tomoyo Daidouji we're talking about here. She has her ways, I don't ask.

"Tomoyo-chan please, don't worry. We'll find Sakura-san and Li-kun in no time." Hiiragizawa stated. He put a hand on Daidouji-san's shoulder. She looked up at him, with real tears in her eyes. Okay this chick is messed up.

"I know but- I really wanted to film Sakura's date! And I'm missing all of it!" She sniffled. Hiiragizawa then pulled her into a hug and patted her head.

"It's fine. Sakura-san will tell you all about it later I'm sure."

"Really? You think so? She doesn't tell me much anymore…"

"I'm certain of it. Sakura-san is your best friend, she'd want to share something like this with you. Maybe not with you- there anyway- but share her thoughts about it with you."

Good job Hiiragizawa. I applaud you for having sense! Even though I kinda do want to see what their date is like too…

Daidouji-san sniffled then took out a handkerchief and daintily dried her eyes. "You're right Eriol-kun. I should let them enjoy their date…and since we can't find them I think that this is a definite sign that I should. My little Sakura-chan is growing up …I have to let her…."

Finally, Daidouji-san showed some sense. This obsession of hers was really getting out of hand. I watched the two of them basically just stand there, Hiiragizawa-kun just affectionately leaving his hand on Daidouji-san's shoulder, for about five minutes. Yeah it really was that long, people were beginning to stare.

"Okaaay- so does this mean we can go home now? I'm tired, and it's Friday. I really like just kicking it at home on Fridays…" I stated, swaying back and forth. For another two minutes those two did absolutely nothing. I sighed. Why did I come with these two weirdoes again? Oh…right…it was to check on Syaoran…I hope he's doing okay…

"Hey, what are you three doing here?"

Heat rushed to my face. I knew that voice, that completely monotonous and uninterested tone was telling. I swallowed. Slowly, I turned around. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Touya Kinomoto was wearing a very…handsome looking butler outfit. It reminded me of that drama I watched once. He looked…very dashing. I slapped myself. No, no Meiling he is not attractive at all. Stop, just imagine Syaoran in a butler outfit.

Mmmm…yes…yes that's good. I took a deep breath, then listened as Hiiragizawa thankfully took the wheel.

"Oh we were trying to find Sakura-san. Has she been around here?" He started.

The older Kinomoto got even more of a frown on his face. "Yeah," he crossed his arms. "I saw them. They left quite a while ago though." He replied looking down the opposite street. "Yuki was with them, no idea where they headed off to though. Sakura said that gaki was treating her to something for helping him with his mediocrity."

W-w-what?! How dare he say something like that about Syaoran! I stomped over to the tall guy and began to jab my index finger into his chest.

"Hey! You can't say something like that about him! Syaoran and I are from China and we're still adjusting to the different meanings of similar characters in written form! It takes time!" I argued, giving him one last poke for good measure. Hah, take that jerk. That's what you get for messing with my Syaoran-

He just smirked at me. He's-he's amused by this isn't he?! I narrowed my eyes at him, giving him that signature Li glare. It works every time.

He almost laughed, but held it in. Not a second later he had replaced his amused look with a stone cold stare. Oh-my-gosh. Are you kidding me?! How? How could that not work? It always works!

I just stood there, stupefied for a few moments while Daidouji began asking the older Kinomoto some questions. I tuned it all out. How-how could this guy have not been intimidated by me?! Had-had I lost my touch? No, course not. I used this on Kinomoto-chan this morning and she was affected. This guy…he can't be human. That's it, he's like some supernatural being without fear or something. That must be it.

I nodded to myself. Yes, that's so it.

"Meiling-chan?" Daidouji-san's sweet voice suddenly rang in my ears. I jumped at the sudden sound. It was…really weird to hear her sounding normal. I blinked a few times then coughed to clear my throat.

"Um, yes Daidouji-san?"

"Oh well Touya-kun gave us a little clue as to where Sakura-chan might be so we're heading there." She began then pointed down the street. "He says that if Tsukishiro san is still with them, then he might have taken them to a popular crepe shop that opened up down the street. So we're checking it out before we head back. After all-" Daidouji-san took out her camera and began filming. "If I can I'd like to catch a bit of Li-kun's jealous side!"

I rolled my eyes. This girl does not know when to quit. I looked over to Hiiragizawa-kun to help but all he did was hold up his hands in defeat and shake his head. You really are no help bub.

I sighed. Then noticed the retreating back of Touya Kinomoto, I didn't really notice before but he really did have a strong back. Oh gosh what are you thinking Meiling focus! I shook off those strange thoughts then started off down the opposite street behind the two weirdoes.

Syaoran, for your sake. I really hope you are not at that crepe shop. Otherwise….I hope you're prepared for the wrath of Daidouji.

A/N: Hi everyone! Yes after forever I am finally updating. Sorry for the delay! I've got a year and a half till I'm done with college so I've been really hitting the books lately. Because of that my creativity and stamina was really drained. I've been working on this chapter since the last update- and I was planning on making it longer but it's already at 12 pages so SakuSyao's date will continue in the next chapter. I also have been really having a hard time since my surgery last June, it didn't exactly work so…that's been fun? Hopefully someday I'll get better. We'll see. Until then just happy to be here, and also be a senior in college yay! No I still am not 100% sure what I'll do with my life. Hopefully it involves writing.

Also I finished my Japanese Minor! I am not fluent by any means but at least I am able to read and write in Japanese and understand some of my favorite series without subtitles. So yes, I will still be using Japanese terms in this story. Usually I am able to catch any typos with the romanji-but if you see something like kaijuu turning into kaiujuu, it's a typ0 I didn't see. And will be corrected after all chapters are finished. ;)

I promise more fluff and less drama next time. ;) (Well, there may be drama…it's Tomoyo.) I hope you enjoyed the chapter! Please review! I'd really appreciate it! Thanks for sticking with me! I really am so glad that some of you have stuck with this story for so long! It makes me really happy to know that this story is read!

Again really thank you for reading. :D
