Ch. 38
Omiya POV
"Ohayo, Miya-chan." I opened my eyes to see Shin right beside me, his arms tightly wrapped around my waist which pulled me to him. I blushed.
"Ohayo, Shin-kun." I nearly whispered. I realized the room we were in was mine, in Edo. We're back in Edo!
"Yes, we brought you back to Edo. We'll wait to get married until we're 18 too." Shin smiled cutely and kissed me. I kissed back and we kissed until I pulled away slowly.
"I'm glad." I said and hugged him, resting my head on his chest. I listened to his heartbeat contently.
"I'm happy you're happy." Shin whispered in my ear.
After staying like that for some time, I pulled away and sat up.
"We should get up and ready." I suggested and flew into the closet. I found my Oh Edo Chaki Chaki girls uniform waiting, so I changed into it and did my hair before exiting and making my way downstairs to the kitchen. Shin was waiting, dressed in his usual outfit, by the fire.
"I wonder where everyone else is." I said curiously while preparing breakfast. Shin smiled innocently and kissed my cheek.
"I'm quite sure that they are at their homes. You'll see each other later, I promise." Shin assured.
"Oh, alright, Shin-kun." I blushed and smiled.
"You're kawaii like that." Shin teased gently, causing my blush only to deepen.
"S-Shin-kun," I stammered and felt his lips on mine. I felt my cheeks burn up as my eyes shut. The kiss lasted for a while before we split, gasping for air, "Um.."
"Alright, I'll be patient. Is there anything you need help with?" Shin asked with a laugh.
"Hai, I need some water. Would you fetch some, onegai?" I replied softly. He nodded, got up and left swiftly. He really is sweet and kind.
It took only a minute before he flew back into the room carrying water effortlessly.
"I believe this should be enough for now, Omiya-koi!" Shin said, a bit triumphant in a cute way. I giggled and he grinned.
"Hai, Shin-kun." I smiled. I hope everyone else is alright.
Mayumi POV
"H-Hayato!" I squeaked when I noticed how close we were. Hayato's eyes opened slowly and he smiled.
"Ohayogozaimasu, Mayumi." Hayato purred. His eyes changed to a warm sky blue as he gently leaned over and kissed me on the cheek, making me blush hot red.
"Wait, we're in my room in Edo…" I gasped when I looked around.
"Hai, we brought you girls back and we have decided to be patient and wait, until we're eighteen." Hayato explained softly, wrapping his arms tighter around me until there was no space between us; making me press into him. I couldn't help but smile.
"Thank goodness you came to your senses." I said, relieved. It was Hayato's turn to blush.
"Oi, I just want you to be happy." Hayato nearly whispered. I kissed him on the lips and he kissed back before moving to my cheek and neck, making me shiver.
"Hayato-kun!" I protested and pulled away, blushing while putting on a deadly glare, "Not too low, got it!"
"Hai!" Hayato consented and we both sat up. I had the impression of the girls that they were here with their beaus when I was trying to push back stray hair from my face so I sighed a breath of relief. When I felt my hair being gently tugged I turned my head to see Hayato playing with it.
"Nani?" I blushed. Hayato simply smiled and I couldn't stop myself from doing so either. I let him braid it and help me pin it up before I went to change. I found my uniform and put it on, when I went back into the room Hayato was putting up the futons. "You don't have to do that."
"Do I need permission to be helpful, Mayumi-chan?" Hayato asked.
"No…" I stammered. He finished and floated over.
"Cheer up." He smirked and then started tickling me.
"OI! Hayato!" I cried breathlessly as I writhed, trying to get away while laughing. He stopped and I had to catch my breath.
"Why don't we go check on the others?" I suggested. He shrugged before having to follow me as I darted out of the room.
