I'm back! Finally got around to making the next chapter. Sorry about the wait, I wanted to work on some of my other stories and ended up ignoring this one for longer than I expected. I had forgotten what I originally wanted for this chapter, but I think it worked out okay, I even introduce a character I've had planned for a while now.

"So this is Uzumaki's household?" a man in a black suit with sunglasses asked as he stood in front of Naruto's house with a scowl.

"That's what the address says, boss" Rowan, dressed in the same kind of suit and sunglasses, told the man as he double checked the slip of paper in his hands. "You know, it's not to late to turn back" the fox said as he glanced over at the man standing next to him. "All of the extra species being hosted here are under Ms. Smith's watch. You don't really have a lot of say here" Rowan told him.

"Rowan" the man started, making the ex-criminal jump slightly at his tone. "That woman is the type that will will allow anything so long as it saves her a few sheets of paper work. It's a miracle that she hasn't gotten anyone seriously injured as a result of her inaction. I refuse to stand by and allow her complete say in what happens with a man from that world" the man said before running a hand through his thick black hair.

"It sounds like you just have a grudge against the kid" Rowan told him. "Try to keep your personal feelings out of this, will ya" Rowan said as he started heading for the front door. "Oh, and boss" the fox started as he looked over his shoulder at the man. "Your roots are showing again. You might want to stop at a store on the way back" Rowan suggested as he brought attention to the bright red hair beginning to show under the rest of the man's hair, getting a slight glare from him.

"Keep it to yourself. I don't need anyone noticing because you're talking about it" Rowan's boss said as he came up to the door and rang the bell.

Minutes earlier

'Why, did I get punched?' Minato wondered to himself as he knelt over while holding his stomach. He had come in, over joyed that he could once again see his son but received a punch to the gut instead when he ran over to the younger blond.

Standing a few steps away from his father, Naruto was busy wondering if he should apologize for what just happened. Sure, he didn't have the best childhood as a result of having Kurama sealed inside of him, but it's not so bad any more. Looking over at the bijuu who was clearly struggling at this point to keep up her happy expression, Naruto tried to imagine if he'd have ever met everyone in this world had things turned out differently that day. With a sigh, Naruto turned back to the man having just gotten over the hit and opened his mouth to apologize when the door bell rang through the house. "Ah, I, I think I should go get that" Naruto hesitantly said as he walked past Minato, headed for the front door.

"So, um," Minato started as he looked over at Kurama with a sheepish smile. "You, wouldn't happen to know where Kushina is, would you? I need to tell her something" Minato asked the woman.

"Oh? I think she left with some of the other to pick up ingredients for dinner. They should be back later on" Kurama said with a strained smile as she gently pressed her hands together. 'Fucking bastard! You deserve far worse for sealing me away! Especially after I had just gotten free of that bastards control! Who the hell do you thi-' were some of the thought running through Kurama's head as she reveled in the former hokage's pain while struggling not to let a sinister smile creep over her face.

"Yeah, what is-Rowan!?" Naruto was asking while opening the door when the rust red haired fox came into sight. "What are you doing here?" Naruto asked, recalling how their first meeting went. "Don't tell me you want that family get together now. You should really warn someone in adva-" the blond was saying when Rowan held up a hand to stop him.

"I assure you Naruto, this visit has nothing to do with personal business. We're here for work only" the man said in a serious voice Naruto couldn't believe the guy could muster after past experience with him.

"Wait, we?" Naruto asked after a moment as he finally lanced over to see the other guy.

"Good day, Uzumaki, my name is Hoashis Konoe. I'd like to speak with you, may I come in?" Hoashis asked the blond while giving off a strong, unmovable aura.

"Uh, yeah sure, come on in" Naruto said as he stepped aside to let the two enter. "Um, do you either of you want something to drink?" Naruto asked, a bit surprised that someone like this guy just suddenly showed up at his house.

"Tea, if you have any" Hoashis said without even slowing down as he walked further into the house. "If not then anything's fine, just as long as it's not coffee. I can't stand the stuff" the man said as he made a straight line for the blond's living room, apparently already familiar with the basic layout of the building.

Quickly making a clone to go get the tea ready, the original Naruto followed after the pair. "So what did you want to talk, about?" Naruto was asking as he turned the corner to walk into the room when he trailed off as he saw the Hoashis standing in front of Kurama, looking her up and down. 'The hell is he-' Naruto was wondering when the man began to speak.

"You're not registered as one of Uzumaki's charges. Who are you and where are from?" Hoashis asked with the same hard look he's had since arriving at the house.

"Oh, my name is Kurama, I'm fro-" she was saying, already prepared with a bullshit story for why she was there when Hoashis interrupted her, getting an annoyed twitch from the woman.

"I see. So you're the tailed best trapped within Uzumaki" the man said as he turned away from the girl, ignoring her irritated expression and Minato's obvious surprise surprise. "I have no interest in such a creature. I have more important business to see too" the man said as his attention turned to Naruto.

"What's that you bastard!?" Kurama asked, her false mask dropped in favor of her anger with this man. "What the hell do you mean 'such a creature'?!" Kurama demanded as she glared at the man, the chakra within her fake body boiling over as she clenched her fists as the man didn't give so much as a flinch in response.

"You're a vial existence, undeserving of living in this world" the man told her with his back still turned to her, pushing her past her limit as she jumped at the man with every intention of tearing him apart.

"Wait! Kurama you can't!" Naruto called out as he and Minato jumped in to stop her from reaching the man as they grabbed hold of her.

"Let me go Naruto! He deserves everything that's coming to him!" Kurama yelled out as she tried to swipe at the man just out of her reach.

'This, is why I told you to keep your feeling to yourself' Rowan thought to himself with a sigh as he watched this go on.

"So what do you want to say?" Naruto asked with a bit of annoyance after everyone, for the most part, had calmed down and taken a seat. Regardless of how of his own paranoia concerning this man, he wanted to get this over with and him out of his house as quickly as he could so that he and Minato didn't have to hold Kurama down again.

"I just wanted to see how your charges were doing" the man said before taking a slip of tea as he and Rowan sat adjacent from them.

"Isn't that Sumike's job?" Kurama asked, still seething as she sat as far away from Hoashis as possible.

"Forgive me for saying this, but I have little faith in that woman's abilities" the man said as he set his cup down. "If it were up to me this whole pet project of hers would have been put to a stop before it could've started, and Miia would've been removed from this residence the moment an appropriate household had been located" the man told them as he leveled a hard look at the three sitting adjacent to him.

"The hell!" Naruto blurted out as he was about to stand up, but was stopped when Minato placed a hand on his shoulder, getting a slightly annoyed look from his son as a result.

"The purpose of the exchange program is to help extra species successfully assimilate into this country's society" Hoashis said. " Regardless of how well you may appear to fit in, the fact still remains that you entered the country illegally" the man said, making Naruto flinch slightly at his, technically, true statement. "You are not a suitable candidate for a host family. Not to mention the baggage that you brought here from your world" Hoashis calmly said as he stared down at his cup.

"What's that suppose to mean!? Everyone's happy living here, and I don't have any baggage!" Naruto shot back at the man.

"Then perhaps you'd like to personally explain to me what happened recently when an assailant from your world made it through Konoha security, used the seal you have permanently set up and ready to use, and then preceded to take down each and every one of your charges that you were responsible for. Please, I would love to hear how you explain that whole mess away" Hoashis said as he sent the blond a glare, leaving him speechless as he failed to make an excuse for himself.

"You're right" Naruto said as he looked down at the floor, all anger having left his voice. "I wasn't strong enough to keep them safe, and I wasn't prepared to handle something like that, but" Naruto was saying when Rachnera's voice carried over the room.

"That was nothing more than a little scuffle. there's no reason for you to have such a solemn expression because of that" Rachnera said as she stood in the doorway with her arms folded under her bust and staring at Hoashis.

"Rachnee?" Naruto questioned as he looked up at her with an equally questioning look, before having it turn into a smirk. "I was just about to say that you know. Well, in my own words at least" Naruto told her with a happy expression.

"Hmph, I hope so. It was so boring having you mope around the house after that had happened. It would be aggravating if you started that up again because this guy brought it up" Rachnera said with a playful smirk as she walked into the room and moved behind the coach Naruto was sitting at.

"Hey! I wasn't moping!" Naruto told her with a bit of embarrassment as he turned around to be face to face with the woman.

'So, she's one of the girls my Naruto will marry' Minato thought with a smile as he watched the two interact with one another. 'It truly makes me happy as a father to see you've found someone you can love and spend the rest of your live with. Though, more than one might be going a bit overboard' Minato thought as he prayed Naruto knew what he was getting into with so many girls.

"Why am I not surprised to hear to shrug off such a serious incident, Rachnera Arachnera" Hoashis commented, breaking the arachne away from her verbal teasing. "Someone who got off with nothing when they should've been punished for their criminal behavior has no part in this conversation" the man said as he took another sip from his cup, getting a glare from Rachnera.

"I've used up enough of my time here" Hoashis said as he got up from hid seat. "Uzumaki, I will say one last thing before I take my leave" the man said as he stood there, ignoring the look Naruto was giving him. "If any harm comes to your charges again, I will stop at nothing to have them removed from your care" Hoashis informed the blond and once again ignoring him as Naruto put everything he had into not immediately getting up and decking the guy. "Come Rowan, we have no further business here" the man said as he started for the door.

"Right, right behind you boss" Rowan said as he got up. Turning to the others in the room, "Please try not to hold anything against him. He's a hard person to get along with by nature" Rowan told them with a small bow before taking off after his boss.

"Wah! Everything here looks so yummy!" Papi cheered as her and the other girls were arriving back home after shopping. They had only intended to get enough for dinner that night, but a few on the spot decisions here and there ended with most of them having their hands full carrying grocery bags. Even Mero ended up with a few bags in her lap as Miia pushed her wheelchair.

"Yes, but tis it really okay for us to have bought so much? It was Master's money we were spending" Centorea asked with a small embarrassed blush as having to carry bags on her back like a pack-mule. She tried to vehemently refuse carrying them like that, but Kushina was a vary persuasive person.

"Don't worry about it" Kushina cheerfully told her as she held up a finger while holding a few bags in the same hand. "I'll just take a few odd assignments here and there and I'll have enough to pay back all we spent in no time" Kushina told them when Rowan and Hoashis walked past their group.

"You're really not going to let this slide by are you?" Rowan asked as the distance between them and the girls cheerfully returning home quickly increased.

"I swore a long time ago that I would keep that world's filth from contaminating this world. It pisses me off to no end that not only has it finally made it's way here, but that I'm also forced to protect it as it festers and spreads" Hoashis told the fox walking along side him. "I cannot allow Usumaki to ruin the peace that this world has" the man declared as they walked along.

'Sorry Naruto, but it seems you've made a pretty big enemy whether you wanted to or not' Rowan thought to himself as he hoped the kid was ready for whatever Hoashis had planned for him.
