Vegeta and Goku stared wide eyed at the strange figure standing before them; his skin was charcoal black, his lips big and red and his eyes wide and white. However none of those features were the strangest, the strangest was that his big red lips were curled into a happy smile, as if killing Drum hadn't meant anything to him, like it was an everyday occurrence.

"Hiiiiiiiii" he drawled before moving so quickly that neither Vegeta nor Goku could even attempt to see his movements. Then… everything was black. They closed their eyes despite not known what was scaring them.

Finally something began to emerge from the darkness it was the strange face of the creature; laughing at them. Soon they realized that their eyes had been open the whole time. Turning away from the incredibly unnerving figure Vegeta soon realized that they were no longer in their back garden, a fact the confused look on Gokus face showed that he had found out as well.

"Where are we? Who are you?" Vegeta asked slowly, still not trusting his new environment completely.

"POPO" the strange creature now known as Popo yelled loudly. The figure then turned around with his hands behind his back before once again seemingly disappearing. Vegeta and Goku had no idea what was going on, a fact that wasn't helped by the sudden appearance of a white cat floating in the air with a walking stick.

"Is he gone?" the cat asked surprising Vegeta that a cat could talk.

"Popo left if that's what you mean" Goku offered seemingly ignoring the strange nature of the situation. The cat didn't respond however and instead floated to the body of Bardock that they realize must have been brought with them.

"Hey fatty hurry up with the bean" the cat ordered angrily as he looked over the downed Saiyan with worry written on his features.

"Hey I'm not your slave!" a fat man yelled, despite this he did throw the cat a bean and didn't comment on the fatty comment. Not that he could argue really anyway. The cat, seemingly ignoring the fat man's protests simply placed the bean in Bardocks mouth before realizing he couldn't swallow and forcing it down his trout.

Then, to the surprise of the two junior Saiyans, Bardocks injuries began to vanish before their eyes until there was none left. He then opened his eyes and stood up nonchalantly then crossing his arms and scowling just like he had taught Vegeta to do. He had tried to teach Goku as well but he always burst out giggling ruining the effect so he gave up.

"Dad are you ok" Goku asked tentatively as he approached the figure that he thought he had sensed the death of.

Bardock didn't even acknowledge the question though; instead he just stood still with a blank expression on his face. His pupils were visibly dilated before he clenched his eyes shut as if in pain worry Goku immensely, as well as Vegeta just he didn't show it as much.

The cat and fat man didn't seem at all concerned with this and merely stood staring at him as if waiting for some new piece of information. Finally Bardock opened his eyes again with a serious expression on his face.

"Piccolo thinks he killed me… and is going to kill everyone else on the planet" he finally said completely evenly as if the information meant absolutely nothing to him. Goku however did not manage to keep his cool.

"WHAT! We have to stop him!" he exclaimed in panic not even to stop to question what exactly happened to his father that made him go from dead to unresponsive and seemingly in a trance to talking in less than 30 seconds.

"NO! We can't rush off just yet, we aren't strong enough" Bardock yelled not wanting to repeat the mistakes he made with Frieza. He still didn't know how he survived that.

"But we can't just let him kill everyone, there got to be something that we can do" Goku pleaded fearing for the lives of all the innocent people that would Piccolo would slaughter.

"As much as it pains me to say it I think the idiots right" Vegeta growled as he realized that everyone would probably include Bulma since she was so weak and loud.

"Thanks Vegeta, you're a great brother you know that" Goku sang happily as he prepared to run off, but before he could move a muscle Bardock once again started to speak.

"Are you fools not listening to a single thing I say? If you fight him now you will die, but if we let him do what he wants for a while then we can become strong enough to win" Bardock yelled at him overly optimistic sons, apparently they had forgotten that the son of Piccolo had defeated them.

"Here take one of these" the white fluffy cat ordered completely ignoring the tense scene taking place around them as he handed each of the younger Saiyans a small green bean. Seeing the sceptical looks on his face he began to explain. "These are senzu beans they heal any and all injuries instantly and recover all of your energy" he offered talking as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

The spiky haired teens remained sceptical for a moment longer before deciding they may as well take them since they clearly worked for Bardock.

"I think that will be able to help you out with your killing Piccolo plan" an old voice spoke as a tall green figure appeared before them irritating Vegeta that yet another person had done so to him. The old green man was wrinkled and clearly struggling to stand since he was leaning so heavily on the large walking stick in his hand. This made the two teenagers very confused as to how he could realistically help anyone in a fight, let alone help in a fight with someone as strong as Piccolo.

Of course the Saiyans would soon think very differently of the green man in front of them.

"So how do you intend to defeat Piccolo then?" Bardock asked while trying to think of tactics himself just in case Kami's failed.

"It's simple really, I will use a special technique to trap Piccolo in this" he explained holding out a small Klein bottle for them all to see, not impressing Vegeta at all.

"Clearly this man is insane, let's just go find him and ambush him ourselves its out best chance" Vegeta exclaimed not having any desire to continue listening to what seemed to be a crazy green man.

"Vegeta trust me. He is the guardian of Earth" Korin reassured Vegeta but surprisingly the words of the talking cat were not taken as wise.

"We should attack as soon as possible while he's still weakened" Kami advised having always been the voice of reason in situations like this.

"Shut up! If you could really trap him then why would you even need us?" Vegeta questioned irritated by the old man's attempt to control him. Bardock had been standing still waiting for something happening until now but realized they weren't going to get anywhere like this.

"Vegeta, it doesn't matter weather or you want to go along with his plan what matters is that we attack as soon as possible" Bardock told his adoptive son before flying off to ambush Piccolo. Vegeta and Goku promptly followed him-though they were on foot- with kami flying above, surprising them that a man who could barely stand could fly so fast.

They ran quickly in the direction they could sense Piccolo in, supressing the energy's as much as they could whilst keeping up so as to avoid detection. Finally, they found where he was, it appeared to be some sort of ship, although it was on the ground, it was very large, grey and circular, it reminded them of UFO, which isn't surprising considering what they know about him.

Bardock landed in front of them before starting to give them orders on the ambush, he explained that he could only feel two power levels inside the ship, Piccolos and a relatively low one which he said wasn't likely to be a threat.

The plan was that he would go in from behind and launch a surprise attack on Piccolo, and then while he was recovering they would attack as well. Kami tried to warn them that their plan would not work but they ignored him as they didn't know the true depth of power gained by king Piccolo.

So according to the plan Bardock infiltrated the ship and found a good spot in which he could see the clearly fatigued form of the demon king. He then started to charge his attack, he tried to charge as much as possible of the spirit cannon before making the energy blast form so as to avoid Piccolo seeing it early, hoping he would be too tired to sense the attack until it was too late allowing them to secure a quick and decisive victory- after all Piccolo was hardly a rea threat, no he was merely an inconvenience before they could fight Frieza that, with the zenkia gained by each of them would be defeated effortlessly.

Of course what Bardock didn't know was that the demon king had been able to sense him since they got within a mile of his temporary home, and he also didn't notice the green thing that had all but killed him earlier that day was slowly raising his power level since then, giving him more than enough energy to counter Bardocks attack.

So when Bardock threw his arm forward releasing his Final revenger at him he wasn't prepared for an attack assuming it hit when the large cloud of smoke appeared where he Piccolo was seated, making it all the more surprising when Piccolo teleported behind him and back handed him into the two teen Saiyans who had gone to attack an enemy that wasn't even there.

The two teens recovered quickly and each charged at their target raising their energy's as high as they could as they ran. But when they arrived they were both quickly defeated but punches to the face and stomach before being kicked back into Bardock who had only just began standing up.

"I must say Bardock you disappoint me, you manage to somehow survive something that should have killed you come back as if you weren't touched and this is the best you can do, it's pathetic. Now I'm going to kill the weaklings you brought with you as well." Piccolo threatened before beginning to charge up a Masenko with enough power to kill all the Saiyans at once.

Bardock knew this could very well be successful so, knowing it wouldn't work but trying anyway, erected an energy shield around himself, Vegeta and Goku with his arms crossed in an 'x' shape as he tried to take the brunt of the force of the attack and survive at the same time.

Vegeta and Goku saw this and followed suit combining their energies into the shield before assuming the same 'x' position knowing they wouldn't be able to dodge in time making this their best- and only- chance at surviving the attack, although doing so wouldn't do much good as he most likely could continue to attack them even after that and they would have no energy left to defend themselves.

"Evil containment wave" cried Kami who had actually managed to infiltrate the ship without having been detected and had planned to intervene once the Saiyans plan failed, he was surprised at how soon it was that the plan did fail though.

Piccolo froze when he heard the name of the technique that had sealed him away for most of his life the first time around, and now, now he had eternal youth. He wouldn't be trapped until he died, there was no chance that someone would be stupid enough to release him a second time around. He was going to be trapped alone for his entire life!
