Chapter 38

At the train station, Ash and his friends are sitting at the benches talking and playing, until they hear some sounds of engines, and a train arrives.

"Hello, Ash. Lillie. Mark. Konomi. Queen Aurora." Luke and Radium come out and greet them.

"Hi Luke, I see you driving a real train here." Lillie says.

"Well, Helen uses the Rockrain, so don't blame me." Radium says.

Ash says, "Everyone, this is Luke, he is the final member of Daintha and Seibold's children. And this is Radium, she is Winoa and Steven's daughter."

The group is shocked as they greet them. Professor Oak says, "By the way, we really haven't met Steven and Winoa's children yet."

"I guess she is the first one, huh?" Steven comes out of the train and greet them. "Good to see you again, Aurora."

"You too, Steven." Aurora says. "So who is in the train if I may ask?"

"Well, there is Roxanne, Byron and Roark, Olivia and Grant." Luke says.

"I see that all the Rock Type Gym Leaders are here to check out the Mt. Fortana?" Mark asks.

"Yeah. Now come aboard." Radium says as they get onto the train.

When they greet with the other people, Brock and Professor Oak goes to talk to them.

"So Raidum, does that mean you like to collect rare stones like your father?" Max asks excitedly.

"Of course." Radium says as she shows a diamond. "This is a Crystal Diamond that can be found here."

Bonnie says, "Wow, it is so amazing."

Radium says, "Ash, can you do the trick?"

"Of course." Ash says as he takes out a knife. Then he starts to carve it.

"Ash is carving a jewel?" Dawn asks in shock.

"Of course." Aurora says. "He also has a jewel store in the RPA company. This earing is made by him."

As Aurora shows the sapphire earings, Cilan says, "That is a nice beauty."

"Thank you." Ash says as he creates a necklace. "There, this is the Crystal Necklace. I give this to you, Serena."

"Thank you." Serena gets it and wears it, then she asks, "How much is it?"

"A million, since the Diamond is a rare jewel to find." Ash says, causing them to have their jaws drop.

"A million dollars? That is really expensive." Gladion says.

"But in here, everyone is rich, so it will be no problem." Mark says.

As they head inside the cave, they see some golden tablets with faces floating inside.

Tablo, the Tablet Pokemon. Rock Type. Tablo is created by ancient people, it can record history with its power.

"Wow, they look so great." Serena says. "A Tablo?"

"Why yes." Ash says. "It is a nice Pokemon as well."

Then the train stops, Roxanne asks, "Why do we stop here?"

Luke says, "We have arrived at the location of the knight challenge. So we should head out."

As they all head out of the train, it leaves them alone inside of the cave. They now walk for a small part until they see some people digging the ground.

"Let me guess, is this a fossil digging mine?" Roark asks.

"Yes." Ash says, "The first task is easy, you will need to find a fossil and show them to us."

Serena says, "So finding fossils, huh? Sounds interesting."

"Let's go!" Bonnie cheers with Dedenne and Squishy.

Once they wear the helmets and the clothes for mine diggers, they start to dig some fossils. With the help of Quiswallow, they find a place where no one was digging and find the fossils.

Ash and Lillie are watching the Challengers with Aurora, Mark, Konomi, Luke, Radium, Steven, Byron and Professor Oak. Radium asks, "So Mr. Byron, I guess that you have the Steel Star Badge already?"

"Why yes. It is clever to have a house like Pokemon. I even manage to capture one of the Armons."

"I see." Lillie says. "Well, Guargate is one of the best Pokemon that can satisfy our needs."

Once the challengers all come back to them with a lot of fossils, Steven says, "Oh my, that is a lot of them."

Dawn says, "We are really lucky to find a lot of them in a same place."

Mark says, "So that is the first task done. You all can pick a fossil. And we can revive some fossils for you."

They nod as they take one, until Bonnie gets one wierd looking fossil. "What is this one?"

As Aurora looks at it, she smiles, "What do you know, it is the Horn Fossil, this fossil is quite rare."

As Aurora revives the fossil and a Triceratops Pokemon appear in front of them.

Trispark, the Triceratops Pokemon. Rock and Electric Type. It can absorb lightning in the past.

"A Electric Type Fossil Pokemon, that is new." Brock says.

"It sure is." Olivia says.

Trispark appears to be scared to the new world, so Bonnie and Squishy helps it. They become friends and play together. After several minutes, Trispark evolves into a bigger Pokemon.

Trithunder, the Triceratops Pokemon. Rock and Electric Type. Evolved from Trispark at LV 39. It can use its horns to create thunder.

"So an ancient Pokemon that can create thunder..." Grant says.

"Of course." Radium says.

Then the others also revive some fossils, but when Cilan revives a Carnidos, it evolves into a Rampardos that they have not seen before.

"What is this Rampardos?" Cilan asks surprised.

Rampardos Sevestar Form. The Head Butt Pokémon. Rock and Dragon Type. Like a spear, its Headbutt can pierce even the strongest of defenses.

"It looks cool, how do I change mine?" Roark asks.

"I have an Alternate Capsule, let the Pokemon drink it and you will have the Pokemon." Lillie says.

"Thanks." Roark gets the capsule and then goes change his Pokemon.

"Now let's head on to the next task, should we?" Ash says.

They nod as they follow Ash into a door. "Well, this door needs to be open by a certain Pokemon." He turns to Lillie. "Can you call him? Lillie?"

"Sure." Lillie opens her bag and says, "Z2, are you there?"

Z2 jumps out of the bag and does a yawn. "What's up?"

Professor Oak asks, "Why is this Zygarde blue core?"

"Well, it is actually a new form of Zygarde." Aurora says.

Zygarde Sevestar Form. The Order Pokemon. Dragon and Rock Type. Born when all of Zygarde's cells have been gathered together, it uses force to neutralize those who harm the ecosystem.

"So it is a Rock Type now?" Grant asks.

"Well, it has been a Rock type since the Team Flare incident." Ash says.

Z2 opens the door as they head inside. They see a long hall with statues of Lion and a pot.

"Inside the pot are the badges, now send out your Pokemon and go get it." Ash says.

"It sounds easy, what is the hard part of it?" Gladion asks.

Once they step forward, suddenly, the statues start to move and growl at them.

"What? The statues are alive?" Dawn says.

Stalion. The Statue Lion Pokemon. Rock Type. Stalion can sit without moving. When it wakes, it will becomes wild and attacks everything in their way.

"Well, Trenor is the one who creates the Rock, Ground and Steel Pokemon." Ash says. "Now go try to get past them and get the badges."

"Can we battle them?" Max asks.

"That is why I ask you to send out your Pokemon." Luke says.

The group of many people send out their Pokemon to attack, Dawn's Evoleon changes into another new form.

"Is that a Rock Type Eeveelution?" Cilan asks.

Rockeon The Stone Hard Pokemon. Rock Type. Evolved from Eevee by Leveling up with a Rock Type in the team. Rockeon has a hard body, it can break a tree by thrashing into it.

"Yeah, mine is kinda like Crawdaunt, he likes to crash into me and it is really hard." Ash says.

Once they get past all the Stalions, Dawn also accidently captured one.

"Well, I guess I can use him for contests as well." Dawn says while holding the Pokeball.

As everyone get to the pot, the Stalions all stop moving and rest. They each take a Rock Star Badge from the pot. Olivia says, "That is hard."

"It sure is, but it is really a great idea to have this kind of challenge." Roxanne says.

"Now we all get the Rock Star Badge, let's go back to the train." Aurora says as they leave the hall.
