Tails peeked in through Sonic's bedroom door, seeing the teen bobbing his head to the beat on his headphones. Tails gave a loud knock on the door as he slinked his way in, Sonic blinked in his direction and pulled off his headphones.

"What's up, bud?" Sonic flashed Tails a broad grin as the blonde boy chuckled nervously.

"H-hey, Sonic...can I ask you something?" Tails stuttered out as Sonic raised a brow and nodded at him.

"Sure kid, shoot." Sonic replied as Tails looked off to the side, a bright red hue coating his face.

"I-If I w-wanted to, I dunno...ask a girl out...what would I do?" Sonic blinked at the question, before his lips began curving upwards, pearly whites began showing ever so slowly as Tails glared at him, shaking his head. "Don't you dare..."

Too late.

Sonic burst into a grand laughter, falling onto his back in his guffawing, Tails glared at him, even as he got up and his laughter died out.

"Okay, I'm done I'm done. Scootaloo right?" Tails averted his gaze and Sonic grinned. "Okay, go ask her then." Tails stared at him as if he'd grown a second head.

"Are you insane?! I can't just walk up to her and ask!" Sonic smirked and gave a small chuckle.

"No? How else is she gonna know?" Tails blushed as Sonic placed a hand on his shoulder, "Trust me, just ask her she'll say yes."

"How are you so sure?" Sonic grinned.

"I just am." Tails grimaced.

"I don't like that answer..."

"Too bad. Just do it." He pushed Tails out of his room and smirked at him. "Just roll with it." He shut the door as Tails was left fidgeting in front of it.

"Just roll with it...okay." He whispered to himself as he started the slow trek to Scootaloo's residence.

"Alright, Tails. You can do this, just...ask." He raised a hand to the door and was about to rap his knuckles against it.

Poor kid felt like gravity yanked him backwards.

"I cannot do this..." He shook his head as he walked back over to the door and slowly, like slowly, knocked on the door. He felt his heart nearly stop when he heard a feminine voice call out, "Coming!"

His heart did stop when the target of his secret affection walked through the door, her beautiful neck-length pink hair glowing with radiance, her wonderful eyes shining like the clearest of seas and her gorgeous face blinding him with its eternal beauty.

"Tails? Tails, are you alright? You've been staring at absolutely nothing for five minutes." Tails blinked and blushed before averting his gaze before he began speaking.

"Hey, uh, Scootaloo. I-I w-was wondering if y-you would wanna, um, go on a...a...date w-with me?" He saw her smile and respond cheerily.

"Aw, Tails, I'm sorry but I have absolutely no attraction towards you and I think you're just a two-tailed nerd!"

Okay, so that wasn't what actually happened but it could have!

In reality, she responded with a blush on her cheeks and a small smile on her face. "I-I'd love to, Tails!" Tails almost fainted from joy at that very moment. No way...

"Really?" She nodded.

"Of course. Where do y-you wanna go?" Tails scratched the back of his head.

"How about the park?" Scootaloo smiled at the suggestion and stepped out of the house, locking the door behind her.

"Okay! Lead the way!" With that, the duo left for the park, unaware of the green and magenta eyes watching from the rooftops.

"Think he's gonna get some ass?" The magenta eyes turned a glare to the green.

"Quit being such a pervert!" The green eyes rolled and gave a blank look to the magenta.

"Weren't you the one who was coming onto me this morning? Something about not being able to wait any longer and wanting for me to- and I quote- take you like a horse?"

The magenta eyes were silent afterwards.

"So, Tails, how've you been? I mean, you did help save the entire country." Tails chuckled and turned to her. He leaned back on their bench seat and relaxed.

"Me? I didn't do much. Sonic's the one who fought Chrysallis tooth and nail to save everyone." Tails smiled as Scootaloo looked over at him.

"You really look up to Sonic, don't you?" She asked as Tails scratched the back of his head.

"Definitely, he's my older brother. You look up to Rainbow a lot too, right?" It was Scootaloo's turn to smile as she nodded.

"She's my idol, she's so strong, fast and she never gives up!" Tails grinned widely.

"That's what I look up to Sonic for actually. I wanna be strong like him, I always ask him how he got so strong. He always tells me the same thing..." He had Scootaloo's full attention as she stared at him, waiting for an answer. Tails smiled at her and finished.

"If it's for my friends, I'll kick anyone and everyone's ass to protect them!" His smile grew as he watched Scootaloo burst into a guffawing laughter.

"He really says it exactly like that? He sounds a little more like Knuckles talking like that!" She continued laughing as Tails began chuckling with her.

"True, but he means every word of it. The one thing that can get Sonic really angry is hurting his friends..." Tails quieted down at this as Scootaloo stopped laughing to gaze down at him sadly. "He'll rip the person to shreds..."

He felt a pair of arms around his torso and went stiff when he saw Scootaloo snuggled against his side and her head resting just under his chin. "He didn't seem like himself did he? It hurt you inside? Don't worry, I'll always be here for you." Tails blushed a deep scarlet at the same time Scootaloo realized what she said and quickly scooted away from him, chuckling nervously.

"Um, where are we going next?" Tails blushed as well before answering.

"A movie?"

"Sure!" The girl replied and the two made their way to the theater, intent on having another great date point.

We turn back to the magenta and green eyes, the green eyes seeming sad and depressed. "What's wrong?" Magenta asked green, to which the owner shook his head.

"Just...bad memories..." Understanding what he meant, magenta moved closer to green and the owner of magenta embraced green.

"You should know that we've forgiven you." She said, green just shook his head.

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen."

"That movie was cool but the main character was kinda annoying." Tails chuckled at her before replying.

"Well, all we really heard was, believe it a bunch of times." She giggled at him before asking.

"Where to now?" Tails gave a small smile before grabbing her hand, something that got her face burning, and led her to an ice-cream cart. "Ever had sea-salt ice cream?"

Now we find the two on top of the bell tower at the center of town, the sunset lowering below the horizon. Each had a stick of sea-salt ice cream in hand.

"How'd you find this spot?" Scootaloo asked, a smile on her face as she bit into her ice cream. Tails smiled back and replied, "Flying around, found it on accident and made it my spot."

"So..." Scootaloo trailed off with pink dustingher cheeks. "You decided to share your special spot with me?" Tails blushed but said nothing as she continued, "So, it's our spot now?" She placed a hand on his and looked him in the eyes.

"Y-yeah, I guess." Scootaloo giggled, a smile on her face as she inched closer to Tails.

"Good, because you're mine now." Their lips connected as Tails almost died, was this happening? Did he just get his first kiss? Whoa!

Scootaloo pulled back from him and smiled, "And I'm yours." Tails grinned the largest he's ever grinned and pulled her in for another kiss, smothering out her budding laughter.

"Now I have everything I need." Tails replied as Scootaloo smiled at him, no more words were said.

Sonic tried wiping the tears away but it was futile, "My little brother's growing up." Rainbow rolled her eyes.

"Don't be such a baby." Though she was thinking the same for Scootaloo.

There it is. Sorry for the wait, exams and all that crap. Anyway, we're almost done with these bonuses just the race next chapter and for the last one we're gonna have a grand QnA and Trivia chapter, you guys can ask me all the questions you want while I give you more info on what could have been.
