Christmas, Christmas it is that time of year,

Chirstmas, Christmas with happiness and cheer,

Rudolf's Red Nose and Christmas Hat on your head,

remember Santa won't come if you don't go to bed,

snow, snow, snow let the snow fall,

"ho, ho, ho" says Santa Claus at the Kerning Square Mall,

feel the excited chill, when you enter Happyville,

there are festive vibes and tree to decorate,

but do it quick before it is too late,

because this only happens once a year, I hope I will see you there.

Apparently I have mostly written poems for the winter holidays. So I might continue doing that. But it makes sense that I would sit down, maybe in front of a fireplace, and write down the cozy feelings, which some people find characteristic for the holidays. I shrug my shoulders, the cold was getting to me. This poem was not written in front of a warming fireplace, but outside a closed Kerning Square. I should have added more layers of clothes. Or I should have checked the opening hours of Kerning Square. But they had to open soon. I tilted my head and tried to get a better look inside. It would be so much more comfortable when they finished the subway line here.

My eye caught something moving inside the mall. The outline of a person maybe? I lifted my arm and started waving to catch the person's attention. Success! Whoever it was came closer to the front door. I started talking: "Can I come in? I thought you were open and..." It was not a person on the other side of the glass door. It had black spiked hair and a black body, both with a hint of purple. Also it had glowing , blue-colored lines, running around its body. The glow were faintly pulsating. I recognized the presence of a spirit, but the supposed spirit did not look dangerous like most does. Then it was gone and it was like it was never there. I blinked. Could I be hallucinating?
