A/N: So now we know what Freya is going to look like in the Lost Girl world, they announced the casting today. Charisma Carpenter who played Cordelia in both Buffy and Angel. Interesting casting. Anyway, on we go. Sorry for the minor delay, today (April 8th) was the anniversary of my father's death, so it's been a weird day for me, thought I'd top it off by writing some more. I don't know exactly how I'm going to play this, it could go one of three ways. Tamsin is messing with Odin and Freya and is going to use it against them, Tamsin really doesn't love Bo anymore and it's all going to come down to one massive fight scene, or Tamsin doesn't love Bo anymore but Bo makes her fall in love with her all over again without realising she's doing it. Read, review and enjoy!
Chapter Thirty Eight
Tamsin and Mena were standing outside the Dal, from the looks that she had got off a few people leaving the bar Tamsin knew she looked like shit, she felt like shit too. Her head was still spinning, she was having a hard time figuring out what were her thoughts and what weren't.
"Okay," Mena said as they both stood looking at the door, "here's how this is going to go down… We're going to walk in there, tell them that I pretty much broke you out. Bo is going to be pretty affectionate, she has to believe you still love her Tamsin, or this isn't going to work."
Tamsin just nodded in reply.
"Make her believe that I love her…" Tamsin said, "Right, got it."
"You mess this up Tamsin…" Mena started to say.
"I won't." Tamsin replied, "Let's just get it over with."
They walked into the Dal, as soon as the door opened Bo, Lauren, Kenzi and Dyson all looked their way.
"Tamsin…" Bo said, standing up and rushing over to her, "are you okay?"
"Yeah…" Tamsin replied with a little smile, "nothing a good night's sleep can't fix…"
"Where were you, what happened?" Bo asked, "I mean, who did this to you?"
"I was driving back from the Dal earlier after talking to D-man and Trick," Tamsin said, remembering what had happened that day, "there was this van behind me but I didn't think anything of it… I stopped at the store to pick us up something to eat, they had my truck blocked in…"
"Who Tamsin?" Dyson asked.
"Odin and Freya…" Tamsin replied, catching the look on Tricks face as she mentioned their names, "they…"
"They wanted to teach her a lesson for not following through on her job." Mena said, finishing Tamsin's sentence.
"And you are?" Bo asked, looking at her with a look of suspicion on her face.
"Mena," Mena said, holding her hand out to Bo, "you must be Bo, nice to meet you."
Bo didn't shake her hand, she just continued to look at her.
"Mena is one of the Valkyrie's I helped train a long time ago," Tamsin said, "she was in the building where I was being held… she… er… she broke me out."
"So they are going to be coming looking for you?" Trick asked.
"I don't know," Tamsin replied, "I honestly don't remember much, it's all a bit… fuzzy… Rainer was there…"
"He's still alive?" Lauren asked.
"Not anymore," Tamsin said, with a little smile, "the wound from the sword did eventually kill him after all…"
Tamsin winced as a fresh jolt of pain shot through her, she figured it must have been from some of the wounds she had starting to heal.
"Are you okay?" Lauren asked, "if you come to the Dark Compound I can run some tests, make sure the damage is just superficial."
"I'm fine Lauren, really," Tamsin said, "I just want to go home, it's been a long-ass, very weird, really painful day, I just… I just want to chill… Get some rest."
"Can I crash on your sofa?" Mena asked, "I'm in town for a few days, need somewhere to stay, and if they do decide to come back for you then I can join in the fight."
"Sure," Tamsin said with a little smile, "as long as you don't mind sharing space with a human…"
"You have a pet?" Mena asked.
"No Bo has a pet." Tamsin replied with a smirk, ducking as a piece of ice headed in her direction, "now that's not very nice is it Kenzi, we're trying to show Mena that you're civilised and what do you do, throw something at my head."
Kenzi laughed, which made Tamsin smile.
"I'll throw Geraldine at your head if you're not careful." Kenzi said.
"Who's Geraldine?" Mena asked.
"Kenzi's sword." Tamsin replied laughing.
"You named your sword?" Mena asked Kenzi.
"Er, yeah," Kenzi said, standing up and walking over to them, "who doesn't name their sword."
Mena laughed, she looked at Tamsin.
"I think I might be able to tolerate this human." She said.
Tamsin smiled a little and looked at Bo.
"Home?" Tamsin asked.
Bo nodded.
"Tamsin…" Trick said.
"It can wait Trick," Tamsin said, interrupting him, "whatever it is can wait."
It wasn't a question, it wasn't a request, it was a statement. Whatever the Blood King wanted to talk to Tamsin about could wait. The only place Tamsin wanted to be right now was home, in bed, resting. She needed to heal. However the next few days were going to play out she needed to be back to full strength as soon as possible.

Back at Tamsin's loft Bo couldn't help but feel that things were slightly off. She and Kenzi were in the kitchen while Tamsin and Mena were in the living room.
"Does Tamsin seem… like Tamsin to you?" Bo asked as Kenzi stuffed her face with ice cream.
"She's been through a lot today BoBo," Kenzi replied, "getting dragged off in a van, having her mind screwed, her pretty face battered… she's probably just really tired and needs to heal."
"She just seems a little stand-off-ish…" Bo said, "I mean I went to kiss her earlier and she turned her head…"
"She's tired Bo," Kenzi said, "and with Mena around maybe she might feel a little awkward with the PDA's."
"Maybe…" Bo replied, still overthinking it so much that she got the little lines between her eyebrows.
At that moment Tamsin walked into the kitchen and straight over to the fridge, barely even acknowledging the other girls were in the room.
"Tamsin… can we talk?" Bo asked.
"Sure," Tamsin replied, grabbing a beer out of the fridge, "let me just take this through to Mena and I'm all yours."
"I'll take it," Kenzi said, taking the beer from Tamsin, "I'm heading to bed anyway so I'll drop it through on my way."
"Thanks meat-bag." Tamsin said with a little smile.
"Anytime bitch-face." Kenzi replied, leaving the kitchen.
"So…" Tamsin said, leaning against the side of the island looking at Bo, "you wanted to talk…"
"Are you sure you're okay…" Bo said, "You seem a little… different."
"I've been through a lot today Bo," Tamsin said, "physically and mentally… I just… I'm tired is all. I ache in places I didn't know I could ache in…"
Bo laughed a little.
"It's just been a really long day…" Tamsin said, pushing herself away from the island and walking closer to Bo, "now all I want to do is take a hot bath…"
She put her hands on Bo's waist, pulling her toward her.
"And to cuddle up in bed with you…" Tamsin continued, "The rest can wait until tomorrow…"
Bo smiled a little as she felt Tamsin's arms go around her waist, she didn't noticed as Tamsin clenched her jaw slightly before placing a soft kiss on her lips.

Tamsin untangled herself from a sleeping Bo, she, herself, couldn't sleep. Bo's head had been rested on her shoulder, her arm across Tamsin's waist. The Valkyrie had lay there staring at the ceiling for the previous two hours.
She made her way, quietly, out of the bedroom. She noticed the light was on in the kitchen, illuminating the hallway that would otherwise be dark. Kenzi's room door was open, so Tamsin figured it was the human getting herself a late night snack. If she thought Kenzi could eat before she got pregnant, now she was pregnant Tamsin was sure that the whole eating for two thing was quite literal.
"Hey…" Kenzi said as Tamsin walked into the kitchen.
"Hey." Tamsin replied, "Late night snack?"
"For some reason I wanted ice cream, and chocolate milk." Kenzi said, "Together at the same time…"
"Like a soda float with milk instead of soda…" Tamsin said.
"I remember the last time you had one of those," Kenzi said with a laugh, "it was just after we went to the veterans' hospital. We stopped at the diner because you were hungry…"
"In those first few months I was always hungry." Tamsin said with a laugh, grabbing a bottle of water out of the fridge and sitting with Kenzi at the island.
"We actually got kicked out of the diner," Kenzi said, "and told never to go back."
"It's not my fault," Tamsin said, "how was I to know that if you pushed the ice cream down to the bottom of the glass a few times it causes a mini volcano on the table…"
"The waitresses face though…" Kenzi said laughing.
"You would have thought I'd killed her first born not just made a mess of a table." Tamsin said, laughing along with the little human.
"We had some fun huh…" Kenzi said.
"Yeah we did," Tamsin replied, "and you're going to get to do it all for real this time, at a lot slower pace of course…"
"Well if you were the trail run, you turned out okay," Kenzi said, "if this little one turns out to be even half woman you've become, I'll be happy."
Tamsin didn't know what to say, she swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat and laughed a little, standing up she started walking toward the door.
"Guess it's true what they say about pregnancy making you all emotional and shit." Tamsin said to Kenzi before walking to the door.
"Tamsin I meant every word." Kenzi said.
"I know," Tamsin said, turning back to the little human and smiling softly, "you're going to be an amazing mom Kenz…"
She walked from the room.
"I only wish I was going to be here to see it…" she said quietly, heading up to the roof.
