News traveled like wild fire. Even people from the Smackdown brand new of what happened. It was hard enough for her and Randy. People were always making comments of saying the only reason they got in are in the business because of them being the kids of Steve Austin.
"This is your stop ma'am" the driver said bringing Mickie out of her thoughts
"Thank you" she said as she opened the door
Mickie had just entered through the lobby doors seeing none other then her brother sitting there
"Hey micks" Randy said as he placed down the magazine she gave a light smile to him "Come on smile"
"I did" she said as she moved towards the front desk
"No that was some kind of lopsided sad smile. Thats not a Mickie Laree Austin smile and we smile good"
"No its we smile well Rand" she said as she took her room key
"Hey you know i sucked at grammar" he said as he followed her to the elevator
"And math and histroy"
"Yeah yeah yeah" he said waving her off as the elevator dinged open. He could hear her laugh loudly giving Randy what he fought to bring out of her "There's that smile"
Mickie chuckled "I believe this is the first time I smiled this weekend" she confessed
"I'm sorry" wishing he could try to do something to ease her pain
"Whats there to be sorry about. It was bound to happen and I'm going to except the punishment for it" Mickie said as she got to her room "I'll see you later randy" she said as she entered her room closing the door lightly
Hotel Room
Mickie was texting John just going over their situation. She had asked him if they could lay low for awhile just until the whole Kenny thing blows over. He was very reluctant but he respected her decision. She heard a knock come to the door. She looked through the peep hole seeing that it was Maria she opened the door.
Maria walked in looking a bit sad.
"Hey Ria" she said as she sat on the couch next too her "Whats the matter"
"Phil and I broke up"
"Girl I'm sorry"
"No worries. We both decided to end it but its just bitter sweet"
"I got ya. You know what this means" she looked at her wiping the tears from her eyes "Girls night out. We'll go out dance a little and maybe even have a little bit fun" Mickie said giving her one of her mischievous grins
"Let's do it"
"Thought you'd say yes. So you go back to your room and when Kelly gets back I'll inform her of the new events"
"Thanks micks"
"Hey I needed this. how else am I going to beat Kelly out of being maid of honor at your wedding one day" maria chuckled
"You just got bumped up to first then" Mickie gave a small victory dance
"All right. Now go go" Mickie said as she pushed Maria up
"Ok I'm going" she said as she headed to the door "I'll come back here to meet"
"Sounds good to me" she said. Mickie soon started to rush through her bags wondering contemplating on which out fit looked good for tonight.
She decided to go with a black strapless dress that hugs her in all the right places. As she was waiting on Maria to get back she heard her phone going off. She grabbed her phone from the coffee table seeing that it was her mother.
"Hey mom" Mickie said as she put on her bracelets
"Hey. Haven't heard from you in awhile thought I'd check up on you"
"Sorry I'm fine though" sometimes she regrets joining the WWE yes she loved her job and adored the fans and even the friends shes gained but she loved her family so much more.
"Are you sure? We haven't seen you in any matches in awhile. I'm worried about you"
"Are you sure its just you thats worried" Mickie asked
"Your dad most of all" they each shared a chuckle "but honest are you alright"
"Ok the reason is I had a pregnancy scare. Don't jump to any conclusions cause I'm not"
"Mickie-"
"Mom its under control. It was a little scare but were good"
"Just one question"
"Did you tell John"
"No"
"You should tell him?"
"I will"
"When?" Before Mickie could answer her question. There was a knock at her door notifying her that Maria had saved her life
"Sorry mom I got to go"
"This isn't over"
"I know I get my determination from you"
"Bye Mickie"
"Bye" Mickie opened the door to see Maria out in the hall
"About time" she said "What was the hold up"
"Mother called concern and all. Told her about the pregnancy thing and the shower of questions began" Mickie sighed as she rubbed her hand through her hair
"And I guess I saved you"
"That you did and thank you for that"
"You are most certainly welcome. Now lets go"
Club
"See its not so bad" Randy said as he took a gulp of his beer
"Yeah and you brought me here just so I could be the one to drive you and Jeff home"
"No" John just looked at him "Ok yeah"
"John you can go if you want. I'm not going to be drinking tonight"
"You sure"
"Yeah"
"I'll see you later" John patted Jeff on the back. John was headed towards the exit until he found a reason to stay. She hadn't seen him so that was a good thing.
Mickie and Maria were pushing past the moving bodies trying to find a good table.
"I think I see one in the back" Maria said
"Lead the way"
"What do you think I'm doing" Maria said unaware that Mickie was whisked away from her
"What the hell is your problem" Mickie said
"Don't you recognize me" Mickie soon relaxed
"You shouldn't do that" Mickie said as she squirmed out of John's arms
"Why? They don't know us"
"It doesn't matter you promised me you would lay off for awhile"
"Micks"
"No John" she said as she walked away from him
"I bet I can make you cave by the end of the night. If I win you will be at my beck and call for 6 months"
"Thats it"
"You know all I want is you 24/7" john whispered in her ear
"And if I win, you will be at my 'beck and call', give me foot rubs, back massages and give me piggy back rides when I want and wherever I want for a year"
"Deal. Good luck"
"Lucks got nothing to do with it buddy" mickie said as she slid her hand down his chest as she left to go find Maria
"Thank you for ditching me" Maria said shocking Mickie
"If you can help me break John by the end of the night I'll win the bet"
"What's in it for me"
"Um I'll give you riding lessons"
