Ruxki walked into the arena as his name was called and looked at his opponent, a young man dressed in dark colors a red scarf around his neck who made a shocked noise.
"Maltox?!" he exclaimed.
"Who the hell is Maltox? My name is Ruxki, and I'm gonna burn you to the ground." Ruxki said activating his Duel Disk.
His opponent scoffed and activated his own. "Fine then I'll take you down."
"My word we have an intense duo here!" Nico Smiley said as the field spell revealed itself. "Let's give another hand to our two competitors: Shun Kurosaki and Ruxki Maltoxin!" As the crowd cheered the field spell activated. "Action Field On! City of the Future - Heartland!"
Shun looked at the field and his eyes hardened. "Now he's just mocking me. Fine then Reiji Akaba I'll show you my strength."
"This looks like it'll be fun. For my school, for Duel Academy I will win this duel!"
"You're from Academia?" Shun growled. "I will make you suffer for what happened to my home and sister!"

Ruxki looked at his opponent's field, where the three Rise Falcons sat before him, forming a near perfect wall between him and Shun that he couldn't easily break through. He looked at his hand, and empty field, wondering what could be done to breakthrough Shun's field. "You know, your damn birds are a real pain in my ass." Ruxki said at last. Shun didn't answer, instead choosing to give Ruxki the same glare full of hatred that he had been wearing the entire duel. "But, you...YOU ARE REALLY STARTING TO PISS ME OFF!" Ruxki's patience finally snapped as he yelled the last words at his opponent. "I activate Sacred Sword of the Seven Stars, by removing Red-Eyes Black Dragon from play, I can draw two cards." Ruxki declared activating one of the cards in his hand, before revealing and Banishing the other. "I'm going to show you the pride of my school, of my Duel Academy; and let you see the full glory of my Burning Soul!"
Haruki looked at the monster before him, thinking carefully and quickly. He knew he couldn't overpower it by brute force for a few turns, his effects were sealed. What he needed was a new defense.
"Sacred Haruki?" Marowleth asked laughing maniacally. "I can't blame you. Everyone who has seen this card has become overcome with fear, it's sheer power is nothing short of divine."
"I just need to last two turns then?" Haruki said finally.
"Hmm?"
"I can do that." Haruki said grinning. "I summon the Tuner monster, Sage with Eyes of Blue." Haruki said summoning a monster from his hand.

"I Tune my level four Doom Virus Dragon, with my level one Sage with Eyes of Blue." At his words his two monsters leapt into the air, Sage splitting into a single ring and encircling Doom Virus Dragon. "Limiter Removal, Level Five! Regulator Open! Thruster Warm up, OK! Up Link All Clear! Go! Synchro Summon!" In a flash of white light a new monster appeared, holding a tablet, dressed in white. "Come on! Tech Genus Hyper Librarian!"

"You intend to last two turns?" Marowleth asked his voice snide. "You are truly insane. An utter fool. No matter how long you drag this out, it will end the same. In your defeat." Marowleth put his hand to his deck. "My move, draw!"

Marowleth drew from his deck, and immediately disregarded the card he drew, instead pointing at Haruki's monster. "Battle! Tyrant Neptune, attack T.G. Hyper Librarian!" With a deadly growl, the hulking monster stabbed down with it's trident, skewering Haruki's monster destroying it. "Next I activate Tyrant Neptune's effect to half your Life Points." At his command the monster struck again, striking the ground of Haruki throwing him off his feet with a cry of pain.

"I was right, that big-ass op monster is making him over-confident." Haruki thought to himself. "It's my move, DRAW!" Haruki declared drawing from his deck, as he got to his feet.

"It came." He thought to himself looking at the card he drew. "I set one monster in defense mode." Haruki said selecting another card in his hand and placing it face-down. "Turn end. At this point the effect of Tyrant Neptune ends, I can now activate card effects."
"I see, clever. But it matters not, you will fall here. DRAW!" Marowleth declared drawing from his deck, and seeing the card drawn, the same shadow fell across him. "I activate the Spell card; Infernal Alchemy - Homunculus!" Marowleth said, his voice completely different; instead of being snide and human, it sounded harsh, fiery, demonic even. "If I draw this card during my Draw Phase, I can immediately activate it by reducing my Life Points by half; reveal a level ten or higher monster from my hand, and then add that many cards with different names directly to my hand." Marowleth began glowing in a red light as he revealed the card in his, a level eleven monster. "I have Tierra, Goddess of Rebirth, a level eleven goddess to my benefactors, the Infernoids in my hand."
Haruki eyes widened in shock. "The Infernoids, the Infernoid Virus...a virus...you...DAMNIT THAT WAS SO OBVIOUS! What the fuck is wrong with me?!"
"Many things, however, after this nothing will be, as you will be reduced to nothing but ashes." Marowleth said slowly and calmly. "I add eleven cards to my hand; now let the true fun BEGIN!"

"I activate the effect of Tyrant Neptune to half your Life Points." Marowleth said again with deliberate slowness, savoring the moment, as he knew the Infernoids would want to see one of the Duelists who stopped them in the Duel Terminal suffer a slow agonizing death. Tyrant Neptune however, had no such qualms, striking the but of it's trident into the ground, the shockwave throwing Haruki off his feet with a howl of pain.

"Now I activate the spell card, Vector Alchemy - Viel. This turn all Vector monsters I control are immune to all card effects. Time to end this all, I activate the effect Tierra!" Marowleth's voice changed back into that of the entity's that had spoken before. "By shuffling ten cards I control, or in my hand with different names into my deck; I can call upon the Goddess of worlds to reshape this duel as I see fit. Nothing can stop her, now powers, no effects can prevent her rise. Great Goddess of Despair, fall upon this world and purge it clean once again, so that life may begin anew! Special Summon; Tierra, Goddess of Rebirth!" With a single bright flash of violet light, a monster descended upon the field, wearing armor apparently made of the Qliphorts, her appearance similar to that of the Infernoids.

"It's my move!" said a familiar voice it's owner leapt from the ceiling, landing in front of Haruki drawing a card. "DRAW!" Leo grinned as he drew from his deck.
"Took you long enough!" Haruki screamed at him.
"Sorry, had to be sure I didn't waste my chance to ensure victory." Leo said grinning as his Duel Disk started sparking.
"Intrusion Penalty: 2000 Life Points."
"Intrusion...Pena...AUUUUGHHHHHHHHHH" Leo screamed as his Duel Disk shocked him.

"Son of a whore! Who's bright idea was it for to shock the shit out of you?!"
Marowleth's face fell into a look of utter disappointment and disbelief. "You're his teacher?" He asked in his own voice face-palming. "I should've know…"
"What's the big deal acting all disappointed you thieving little bastard?" Leo retaliated raising his fists and shaking at Marowleth. "I am the great Leo-sama, and I will be kicking your-"
"Trap activate!" Haruki said interrupting Leo. "Recursion Synchro! When my life is lower than my opponent's, I can return up to three monsters from my grave to my deck use them to perform a Synchro Summon." At his words a trap card flipped face-up. "Next I chain another Trap: White Dragon's Tears. By sending a Blue-Eyes and Eyes of Blue monster to the grave from my hand or deck, I can draw two cards. I send Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and Maiden with Eyes of Blue to my grave. DRAW!" Haruki drew two cards from his deck and grinned. "I now return my Maiden and Blue-Eyes to the deck. Sleeping Dragon in my soul, raise your head and issue an almighty roar. Descend now! Synchro Summon!" A bright white light appeared behind Haruki as another roar was heard. "Feel the power of my spirit itself, Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon!" As the light faded, a silver white dragon with with bright blue-eyes landed at his side, a soft white aura around it.

"Big deal," Marowleth said in a bored voice. "You healed up and got a few insignificant pieces of trash on the field. And here I was waiting to see something impressive."
"Oh the impressive part is about to happen." Leo said grinning. "I activate Raigeki, destroying monsters on my opponent's fields!"
"I chain Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon's effect!" Haruki announced. "I tribute this card to Summon Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon in Defense mode!"
"I activate Tyrant Neptune's effect, by destroying one Vector Material I can negate its destruction!" One of the tattoos on Tyrant Neptunes chest burned away as it shrunk in size a little.

"When Azure-Eyes is Special Summoned, my dragons are safe till the end of the next player's turn!" Haruki declared as his dragon roared.
"I see, so it can prevent it's own destruction." Leo said grinning. "But it's only got a few tries left huh?" Leo grinned. "I activate Dark Hole!" Leo activated another card in his hand as massive black hole appeared over the battlefield, drawing in and destroying Life Stream Dragon.
"I activate Tyrant Neptune's effect!" Marowleth declared. "By destroying a Vector Material I can negate its destruction!" Another tattoo vanished and the monster shrunk again, now half the size it was before.

"I activate Monster Reborn! Come back Life Stream Dragon!" Leo declared as his monster rose from the grave roaring.

"With pleasure." Haruki said grinning as well. "During the End Phase, I activate the effect of White Stone! During the End Phase it is sent to the grave, I can call out a Blue-Eyes monster from my deck." Haruki raised his hand pointed skyward. "Descend now, embodiment of my ka, Dragon Spirit of White!" In a flash of light a bone-white with black eyes arouse on Haruki's field roaring a challenge.

"Wait, that wasn't in your deck before we got here!" Leo shouted at him. "What the hell is going on Haruki?!"
In the stands for the arena, Sora slid from his seat and passed out. "Sora!" Yuya shouted shaking his friend. "Come on, wake-up. You'll miss the ending of the duel."
"We fuse Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Dragon Spirit of White!" Haruki said as the two monsters lept into the air swirled around each other, the Fusion vortex appearing behind him as he spread his palms outward at his sides. "Power of the Soul, Spirit of the White; when the two become one; it is twice as nice!" Haruki chanted bringing his hands together at his chest. "I Fusion Summon! Spirit of the Moon, arise at my side as my boon! Sakura Amity Fusion Dragon!" A bright blue light filled the area before resolving itself into a pale pink and blue dragon with scales similar in appearance to cherry blossoms in full bloom, a whip-like tail striking the ground as it roared musically.

"Battle! Sakura Amity Fusion Dragon attack Tyrant Neptune!" Haruki declared as he pointed at the Vector monster, now shrunk down to the size of a man. Sakura Amity roared and flew towards the monster as Marowleth finally made his move. Leaping up and to the left he jumped across a few floating platforms and picked up a card.
"Action Spell: Avoid!" Marowleth said leaping down as his monster turned intangible and Sakura Amity's tail phased through it. "Give it up! I am god in this field, on my next turn I will end this al-"
"There is no next turn!" Haruki said, his voice no longer echoing, instead sounding a bit higher in pitch, his eyes changing color to aquamarine. "By the pride of Academia; I swear to defeat you here and now!" He looked at his hand and activated another card. "I activate the Quick Play Spell: Double or Nothing!" Haruki grinned in a rather twisted manner. "This lets my dragon attack once again with twice the power!"
"Did…..DID YOU JUST FUCKING YUMA ME YOU BASTARD?!" Marowleth yelled in frustration realizing there wasn't a nearby Action Card he could reach in time.
"I don't what a "Yuma" is," Haruki countered as Sakura Amity swung around and struck the Tyrant Neptune; "but I know it has nothing compared to the Pride and Glory of Academia!" The monsters attack hit him and Tyrant Neptune shattered, the shockwave throwing Marowleth off his feet in a cry of shock.

The light that had surrounded Haruki faded and his slid closed as he collapsed in a heap on the ground; the monster he summoned fading away into nothingness.
"So...I get it now…" Marowleth said in harsh demonic getting to his feet, eyes red with rage. "No wonder I couldn't stop that bastard in the Duel Terminal either." He threw three cards at Leo as a vortex appeared behind him. "I have no further use for these, this vessel may have it's worth, but it needs something...more..I feel." And without another word, he dissolved into the swirling red vortex behind him.
Leo caught the cards without much effort, nothing that they were the original Sacred Beasts cards. "Well, that's one thing take care of...But…" he looked over at Haruki who was now utterly unconscious. "What the fuck was that?"
A large fireball filled the stadium, flying up into the sky as the Solid Vision faded. "My word what an astounding event we have here everyone!" Nico Smiley's shock apparent in his voice as the smoke cleared. "We have here the first time in the entire history of the Junior Youth Championships!"
In the middle of the arena, Shun and Ruxki lay flat on their backs, covered in soot.
Meanwhile, in a locker room Sora came too with a groan. "What happened...I felt like...I was just…"
"Sora, thank goodness you're finally awake again." a girl's voice said. Turning his head, Sora saw the voice belonged to a girl with dark pink hair and kind eyes, a silver bracelet on her wrist. "You're okay right?"
Sora grinned. "Yep, I just didn't sleep well last night. Sorry."
"Then you better be ready Sora," said another, this time an older man with red hair wearing a tracksuit appeared. "The last Duel ended in a Draw, and you get another shot and making it to the next round."
Sora looked the man puzzled. "How so?"
"It was decided by RNG, you are to Duel the person from LDS who tied with that guy from Duel Academy."
Sora grinned. "Good, looks like I get a chance to shine and entertain again."
