Sir Lance kneeled before Alvina as magic flowed through his body, his consciousness slipping as he fell to the floor. He awoke only moments later, or at least what he could assume was moments later to a man screaming in the distance. He rose to his feet, but could not make sense of what was right or left, up or down. He couldn't see anything, yet he could see himself. Suddenly he was falling, or rising… he was being pulled by something. Sir Lance then landed on a large stone platform. He could see the ground, and figured that he had landed on some sort of arena.

A few feet in front of him, an abomination gripped a masked man as what looked like a sprite of Humanity drifted into the air above what appeared as a lifeless body. Upon further inspection, Sir Lance recognized the corpse as Jeff, the duelist.

"Unhand him, beast!" commanded the knight as Manus dropped the body to the floor.

Manus limped to Sir Lance, roaring at the knight to intimidate him. Sir Lance wielded his Zweihander in both of his hands and pointed it at the beast. The abyssal creature charged the knight and smashed its dark catalyst onto Sir Lance, who simply raised his weapon above him and blocked the impact of the blow. The two grappled their weapons as they wrestled for an advantage. Sir Lance bent his knees and deflected the colossal catalyst off of him, and immediately slashed at the monsters stomach. Black blood poured out as Manus rolled his head back and howled into the darkness. Raising its' weapon in the air, the abomination summoned a dark cloud above the arena. Sir Lance looked above in worry, but charged at Manus as fast as he could. Orbs of darkness rained from above, forcing the knight to retreat and drop his weapon as an attack collided with his left arm. He fell to his knees in pain but raised his head just in time to see his foe charging at him. Manus took hold of Sir Lance with his twisted arm, squeezing him as hard as possible. Sir Lance was not only armored and resilient, but strong, so he pushed at Manus' grip with all of his strength and the beast was forced to release him. After dropping to the ground, Sir Lance spun his right arm around and his fist collided with Manus' chin, the knight yelled with all of his might as the abomination fell to its' back.

"Jeff!" called Sir Lance as he ran to the fallen corpse.

He reached the lifeless body of the duelist, cursing as he pulled his estus flask out. He removed the duelist's mask and gasped as he saw what remained of his companion. The duelist was now a hollow, his eyes gone and his skin shriveled and dead. The knight slammed his fist into the earth and cursed again. Drinking his estus flask, he disappointedly rose to his feet. After saying a quick prayer, he noticed a small pendant around Jeff's neck. He reached down to grab it, as if it called to him. As he picked it up a sprite of humanity flew into the pendant from above, prompting the knight to look up, but he saw nothing. Sir Lance collected his sword and then moved to Manus, slicing the beasts head off. The entire area lighted up as a bonfire appeared in the middle of the arena.

The fact that he was in the Abyss suddenly escaped Sir Lance as he embraced the fires of his curse.

Fiora sat, overlooked the enormous fissure in between where she laid now, to where she needed to be. She had been examining the beauty of the caves for a while now, but could not find a way to get across to where she needed to get to. Crystals protruded from the walls all around the cave, and would occasionally decay, allowing fragments of crystals to fall to the ground which looked miles away. Fiora noticed some of these fragments stop in mid air… as if something was holding them up, but she saw nothing. She gasped. Could it be? She thought to herself as she picked up some of the crystallized dirt she stood on and tossed it ahead of her. The crystals shattered on an invisible surface. "The floor of the cave… it's hidden behind an illusion!" exclaimed the miracle user as she stepped forward, standing on what seemed like nothing.

"What in the…?" pondered Griggs as he and Laurentius followed suit.

The three carefully tread towards the other side of the cave, constantly glimpsing down at the painless death that awaited them should they fall. The shriek of something inhuman filled the caves as a gigantic arcane butterfly flew up to the group. "What in Izalith is that thing?" yelled Laurentius as a glob of fire appeared in his hands. "I don't know, but it's either us or it that dies, so give it all you got lads!" replied Griggs, raising his catalyst above him.

Fiora followed the actions of her two companions as lightning surrounded her right arm. Magic seemed to find its way into the horn of the moonlight butterfly which stuck out of its' head like a sore thumb. Needles of magic launched themselves from the horn and showered down on the three casters as they screamed in pain. Their blood fell to the invisible floor, revealing the ground. The pyromancer of the group launched his fireball at the creature, incinerating its' flesh and wings as the sorcerer launched a soul spear at the target. Upon hearing the cries of the already severely injured creature, Fiora launched a lightning spear at it which collided with the things head. It fell to the floor of the caverns, colliding with invisible panels scattered throughout a vast space until it finally landed. The three undead congratulated one another on their performance and with a swig of estus, they were off.

They finally reached the other side of the cave, strolled through a passageway, and arrived at the mouth of an enormous cavern. Monstrous clams with blade-like legs littered the floor and a bright, shining crystal could be spotted in the distance. "This place just gets weirder and weirder." said Griggs as dozens of shells suddenly rose at the sound of his voice. "Whoops!" he exclaimed. Fiora grimaced at the foolish sorcerer, then turned to meet the coming tide. She manifested an orb of force at her fingertips and launched it at the crowd of clams, sending many flying backwards. Laurentius spun a whip of flame outwards, catching one off guard and burning its' legs off. Griggs launched arrows at the oncoming foes, sending limbs and carapace alike flying. The enemy was almost upon the casters and the two men began to sweat… if they reached them then it was over. Fiora stepped in front of the two. "Get back you fools." she ordered as the two men retreated. The remaining clams surrounded her but were knocked backwards by an invisible force. Pearls flew around everywhere as the beasts collided with the walls and even ceiling of the cavern. A cloud of smoke was created where Fiora was standing, but it cleared revealing the miracle user in the middle of a crater.

"Wow… I would hate to be your enemy, miss!" exclaimed Laurentius who was smiling at their victory. He turned to Griggs and nodded, powering up a fireball. Griggs channeled magic into his staff and Fiora turned around.

"They're all dead, what are you doing?" barked Fiora. Griggs smiled to Laurentius. "No, there is one more that we have to deal with…" Fiora turned red out of anger as a fireball and a soul arrow were launched her way. She quickly used a Wrath of the Gods and deflected the arrow, but the explosion from the fireball caught her dark robes on fire. She cursed and through the robes off, revealing armor worn by the Royal Swordsman of king Vendrick, from the land of Drangleic. Fiora's new enemies looked surprised, but who wouldn't be? Her armor wasn't from this land or rather, time. A Royal Swordsman's helmet materialized in Fiora's hands as she fitted the helmet to her face. She pulled out a rapier that had previously been hidden by her robe from her waist.

"What? You think that some armor and a rapier are going to be enough to beat the two of us? Oh please." retaliated Griggs as he shot another arrow. Fiora blasted the arrow into a random direction. "You know what they call me back where I come from? My allies call me a protector. My enemies, a justicar. But there is one that they all share… the Lightning Blade." she said as she coated her blade in lightning and shot a ball of force at her opponents, knocking them down. Before he could get up, Fiora was already standing over Griggs. She thrust the enchanted blade into his heart and his body shook violently. Laurentius ran up to her, blasting her with a combustion. Fiora simply ignored the burning pain and stabbed at her the man. Sooner than later the pyromancer was on the floor, with more electricity running through his body than blood. Fiora stood over her enemies, quickly drinking from her estus flask. God damn traitors. She thought to herself.

A large thumping sound could be heard coming from the entrance of the cave behind her, she hood behind a rock and spotted an enormous man covered in black iron armor. His weapons are huge! Fiora thought. The hulk approached the two bodies on the floor and removed his helmet, spitting on their corpses. Fiora decided to reveal herself from her hearth and approached the giant.

"Were these two your friends?" asked Fiora sarcastically upon her approach.

"Hmph. We've been looking for these two traitors for a while. Did you run them through?" said Tarkus.

"Yah, they weren't too tough… I figure that you are here to kill the dragon, then? I won't be able to do much, I don't think I have enough in me to cast another spell." Fiora stated, motioning towards the Primordial Crystal in the distance.

"That's alright young lady, I'll handle it. Are you with the Warriors of Sunlight?" asked Tarkus. "No, I've come to Lordran with a group of… allies… we're after the Darkwraith, we believe he is actually from our time." explained Fiora.

"Time? Hm… well this place is pretty screwed up when it comes to that sometimes… I guess it makes sense." Said Tarkus, whose head was actually starting to hurt from all this thinking. The two slowly walked to the glowing crystal in the distance, growing more silent as they approached it.

Victoria jumped down a dark hallway with a diagonal ramp, prompting her to force her balance on her feet and slide down. The daughter of chaos behind her followed suit, the two slamming into tree branches and roots on the way landed in a large, circular dark room. Torches suddenly lit up the ceiling and walls, revealing an enormous demon made of wood. It roared and swung its' arms at the two pyromancers, not quite able to reach them.

"Mother…" whimpered the old pyromancer.

"That tree is your mother?" exclaimed Victoria in surprise. With a nod from the Daughter of Chaos and an agreement from Victoria, the two split up, surrounding the giant creature.

Two gigantic chains around the demon stood out the most, and the pyromancers ran to both of them on opposite ends of the stone arena. The Daughter of Chaos reached her side and launched flame at the chain, shattering it. Victoria had to dodge an attack before reaching hers, mimicking the same process. The demon screamed as tendrils of flame burst from its' back, but the two pyromancers didn't waste any time. They ran to the center of the arena and charged the demon, aiming for its' core. As the two made a leap of faith towards the demons heart, the floor underneath the two gave out, causing the pyromancers to fall. The Daughter of Chaos landed on a large branch - but Victoria however, did not. Falling into the darkness, she screamed as her hand was grabbed by her companion.

"Let me go!" She screamed. "I'm undead, it will be alright!"

"Your what?" answered the other pyromancer, as a tendril of flame sliced her arms off, causing Victoria to drop as she screamed and prayed for her allies' safety. The Daughter of Chaos went into shock. Pain left her body as she fainted and fell to the floor, the branch balancing her as she laid there… slowly dying. The demon that was her mother flailed violently from above, trying to reach its' victim.

At a bonfire close to the ruins, Victoria appeared and immediately ran to her friends aid. She ran through the ruins of Lost Izalith and skipped every foe in her way. After sliding down the large hallway the Bed of Chaos, as it was referred to in the history books, swung at Victoria as she jumped through its' attacks and landed upon the large branch below the demon. She crawled to her friend with tears in her eyes. She's not breathing… she thought to herself.

"Dammit!" she yelled as fire enveloped her arm. She rose and pointed her arm towards the core of the demon, a demonic maggot crawled and struggled in the center of the beast as the "tree" flailed around endlessly. I'm going to use That. She thought as a large ball of fire, four times bigger than her appeared in front of her arm, completely incinerating the remains of her friend. The Forbidden Sun launched with incredible speed to the center of the demon, causing a large explosion and instantly set the demon ablaze Victoria's knees gave out as she started to cry for her lost friend who unfortunately, but fortunately, wasn't undead. She sent a quick prayer to the gods and then approached the center of the demon, a bonfire had appeared underneath it. A soul flew into her as she closed the distance, but she didn't seem to notice or care. She just walked up to the bonfire and raised her hand over it…
