Rhydian's POV

I just heard the door to the dark room open; I know for a fact with my wolf sense of smell that it was only Shannon, Tom, and Harry. Neither I nor Mads parted; she stayed with her legs dangling over mine, one hand on my cheek the other around my neck. And I stayed sitting there with my arm wrapped around her small waist and the other now on her thigh. Once I hear the door open, a blast of laughter follows it. Then there's a mess of footsteps before the door closes. Maddy pulls away smiling and I smile back. It's that smile she told me made her 'go weak in the knees' and by the whack on the arm, I'm just guessing, it still does. It doesn't take time at all for Tom to make loud, fake gagging noises and Harry laugh at him, while Shannon just giggles and scrunches her face up. Maddy moves her legs of mine and moves her hands away from my neck and face to sit up straight in the chair and face the rest of our friends. My arm was still wrapped around her waist and my other hand rested back on my leg. Harry told me he heard about my presentation from Shannon and gave me a well done. He then leaned against one of the cabinets while Shan and Tom took a stool each by the high counter tops. Suddenly Tom and Shan began their conversation with Harry again. They were talking loudly between them about something that I wasn't really paying attention too. I was more focused on the brown haired girl that was wrapped in my arm and rested her head on my shoulder after yawning sweetly. The time is around eleven o' clock yet I feel as if I could climb into bed and sleep till Sunday. It is a no moon day tomorrow though, which is probably why. But I have had an eventful morning, and I'm not the only one. I don't know what I was thinking because what I was feeling Mads must have felt it too. I should have thought of that, I should have thought of her. I got poked in the side and I think Maddy could insinuate what I was thinking. It was nearly the end of break and time was running out for the both of us. She lifted her head off my shoulder and turned to study my face I gave her one of my 'knee weakening' smiles and she smashed her lips against mine quickly. It was only for a few seconds since there were others in the room. She pulled back smiling then looked to see all of our three friends still sucked into their deep conversation. While Maddy was still facing forward I placed a small kiss on her cheek that was only inches away from my own face. I then did it again, and again, and again. She blushed a dark crimson and looked to her hands that were in her lap. I kissed all the way up to her ear and she giggled. I let out one little but loud chuckle just by her ear and felt her shudder in my arms. Then she giggled even louder.

"I love you," I whispered into her ear before placing another kiss on her cheek.

She then turned her head and I managed to capture her lips with mine. Not for a long, but it was still sweet.

"Guys!" Tom yelled throwing a rubber at the side of my head, "Get a room!"

Shannon playfully punched his arm and laughed out loud. Harry contorted his face and stuck his tongue out at us in a childish way. Suddenly the loud ringing of the school bell interrupted their rant on how 'cheesy' and 'gross Maddy and I were acting this break time. I'm glad they stopped the discussion once we had reached Mr Jeffries classroom. Before we had got all our stuff out to use in the lesson he announced that we wouldn't be having the lesson today due to the fact that not everyone did their presentation this morning. Therefore the lessons have been swapped. I heard Maddy's loud gasp and I look at her wide eyed. Oh no! Maddy hasn't done a presentation. It wouldn't be the first time she had detention, but this also counted for a quarter of our final grade. Now I can tell she's freaking out, even if I wasn't her soul mate I would be able to tell. Short time passed as we were rushed out of the class and into the hall. One by one each student who hadn't done their presentation took the stage. Eventually Maddy's name was called out and she was forced to go up on stage. I felt so helpless as she stood there and looked down at me; luckily we got the same seats as last time so I was right at the front. Suddenly Maddys face lit up, I could sense all her doubt rush from her, the worry left her eyes, and she slumped her shoulders in relaxation. Then she began.

"I'm afraid I have not prepared anything, as you can see. But there is a perfectly good reason behind it. Time. The thing I feel strongly about is time and most importantly how we spend it and who we spend it with. Our lives from the moment we are born till the day we die are measured in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years. But what about forever? Or never? We tend to say I will love you forever to our loved ones. Whether it's to your parents, your best friend, your boyfriend, your soul mate, or Miss, your husband. But is what we say true? There doesn't appear to be a limit to forever, so how can we be sure? Well, we can't. No matter how long we live for, no matter what we do, time will catch up and it will run out. Each year we pass the day we die and are lucky enough to live with our loved ones for another year. I have come to realise that no matter what you do, you will never be able to explain to the person you love how much you love them. Because saying I will love you forever won't work. And it won't work because you have no idea how long forever is. Miss, why do you wear your wedding ring? Why did you even get married? Because you were in love? Well how does a piece of paper and a gold ring mean that? As longs as you're together and are in love then it shouldn't matter. Time is limited so don't waste it getting married to prove you're in love, just be together and be in love. And that was only just an example. It's easy to think we may never find love, but never is as long as forever. And we will go on forever therefore it may happen one day. So the thing I feel strongly about is time. Any questions?"
