Chapter 38
Mike eventually returned back to the Pizzeria long after closing time, he remembered what he wanted to do. This would make or break Foxy and Felix. What would he tell Felix after this? He'd never be able to look at the mechanic the same ever again, knowing his brother was forever encased inside a machine and he'd never be able to see the Real Finn again, instead a machine in his place. Plus hiding this from Felix wouldn't be an opinion, Felix was like a lie detector, he would pick up on behaviours coming from people who told a lie, he aways said Mike always would blink a lot more when he lied;which is how Felix knew he was lying to his face.
Also Lying to the mechanic would deeply hurt him, Mike wouldn't be able to see it at first but Felix would slowly no longer trust him, he'd stop talking to him, he'd block his calls, he wouldn't bat his eyes at him even when he screamed in his face, he'd no longer see him in the area and he'd refuse requests to see him or babysit Sarah, then it would end with Felix cursing at Mike in Greek calling him very offensive names all because he lied. Felix would practically vanish from Mike's eyes if Felix found out he lied about knowing what happened to Finn.
When he entered the pizzeria, he saw Bonnie helping BonBon tune his guitar, Teddy and Freddy playing cards against Foxy,Goldie and Mangle and Chica and Chi playing with makeup.
"Guys?" He asked getting their attention, they all stared at him.
"You came back?" Freddy asked
"I said I was today. Where were you Foxy?" He looked suspiciously at the Fox sitting.
"Busy Lad. I was tired."
"You're a machine." Mike pointed out the obvious facts that proved Foxy was telling a lie for some reason.
"Ehhhhh..." Foxy heisted to tell the actual truth about his dreams, knowing if he spoke out, questions would be risen about it. He didn't know if they would have a bad or good reaction to it about him starting to regain his memories from his human life including memories of possible baby brother and those of his family.
"Mike? What the big fucking deal asking me to come to this place near midnight?!" A familiar voice barked as the door closed, Mike and the Animatronics turned to see Felix entering wearing only a red shirt and shorts with boots, "And why the fuck did you ask me to bring my old photo albums?!" He bared a small trolley carrying two rather large wooden crates.
"I didn't ask you." Mike told him.
"I got a message on my phone saying you wanted me to come to the pizzeria at this time." Felix showed his phone Mike saw a message from his number stating for Felix to come over at this time, but Mike didn't remember sending or even typing it, "with this stuff... How did you even know about it Schmidt?" He raised his eyebrow on how Mike knew about his childhood photos which he hid in the cabinet of keepsakes in a pile, he'd read them just to bring back sorrowful and little memories he had with his parents. Especially those of his father. Who he didn't remember by memory, but he remembered via photos.
"I didn't..."
"Heyyyy That's my Book!" Felix had spotted the children Book In mike's arm, "I've been looking for it everywhere! How did you get it?!" Felix yelled at him in a tone that made Mike realise Felix think he was a thief. Which was the last thing Mike needed for his friend to believe he was a thief, knowing he knew George longer than him, he could easily convince George to fire him just as easily as he got Mike hired. This was a lot worse than a simple lie, Felix would actually want to kill him, he remembered a charity worker came to Felix's house and when he went to get some money, the worker accidentally knocked over some stuff from the cabinet. When they tried to place it back, Felix caught them, believing he was trying to swipe or destroy it, feeble attempts by the worker to explain where canceled out by Felix swearing in Greek at them asking what was the matter with them and they couldn't realise it was his property. It ended in the worker being chased outside the house with Felix swinging out a baseball bat screaming down the street until the worker locked themselves in his neighbour's house.
"It was Marionette's Fault." Mike suddenly spoke pointed his finger at the Marionette at the conner, who looked back at them.
"Yes. I took the book and gave it to mike and I sent that Message for you to come here.." Marionette confessed to his crimes making Felix's face turned into a growl at him, "But it's urgent."
"Doesn't look like it." Felix looked around plainly at the animatronics, just seeing in his eyes them playing games and toying around with random stuff, "You're a down right rodent thief and a fat liar. I hate those type of people. You type have a goal to ruin lives. Lives like mine. I'm not letting myself being pulled into that again."
"But it is."
"I'm too old for games. I get you are practically unable to age. But I'm a grown man. I don't have time for your games of the mind." Felix explained to Marionette
"You're not the same child you once were." Marionette shook his head.
"Because bad people took away what I loved. I think you know who I mean. He ruined my childhood." He made a references towards Vincent, whom was still rotting away in the backroom. Unaware that his brother's killer is actually dead.
"But-"
"Stop just stop. No more games. Please. Stop right now. Look at me. I'm an adult. I'm not a child anymore." He explained as Marionette looked at him panicked his plan was failing, "Sure I was once a child and loved to play around. But that was years ago. I lost my childhood, I'm not the boy you were familiar with once. Adults have responsibilities. I have work in the morning. I need sleep." He explained further taking a silver coated bottle out of his pocket and taking a huge sip.
"That's smells bad what is that?" BonBon asked. Before he could place it away, Mike snatched it from his grasp, sniffing it and gasping.
"That's cider." He clearly recognised the strong alcoholic smell it was emitting.
"It's just once Mike-" Felix looked at him nervously knowing he had been caught out.
"You've been drinking?"
"A little..." He confessed.
"And driving?"
"Yes."
"That's against the law Felix. I've never seen you drink before-" Mike was surprised when Felix snatched it back hiding it again.
"It's my own dam problems I have to deal with plus I'm not over the limit yet. This is weak cider."
"Why?"
"Because." Felix didn't face him directly.
"That's no answer."
"Because my life fell apart Mike!" Felix whirled around suddenly very angry, Mike backed away startled, "It fell apart from the minute I was born! Everyone! Everything I loved! Left me! You don't understand! Your life is so perfect!"
"My parents died too if that's what your getting at."
"NO!" Felix shoved him backwards, he tripped over and stared at Felix's furious face, "I lost my whole family! My Aunt's Family and my Grandpa! No one wanted to be around me! It was like I was cursed to kill everyone I touch! You have a wife! And a dam Baby! People care about you! I have no family left! No one to love me or any hope of ever finding that perfect girl and settling down with a family. All I have two stinking horses, a huge house, a dog who pissed on the rug and three rabbits who are trying to stage a prison break. NO ONE LOVES ME ANYMORE! I'M THE ONLY SULLIVAN LEFT! WHEN I DIE NO WILL REMEMBER WHO WE ARE!"
Mike looked at him shocked, Felix's expressions then soften as he rubbed his eyes. "I'm too old for this shit. Bad enough I have nightmares now I need to get some sleep before I have to wake up at 7." He rubbed his temple groaning as he kept on talking, "These Crates are Deliveries here.." Felix walked away like what he just said didn't matter, but he once again dropped his Mangle Plushie which was in his pocket, Foxy dived for it and tugged on his shirt.
"This be yours Lad. Stop losing it..."
"Thanks Foxy... You were always my Favourite... You even remind me of my brother..." After he said that, he walked towards the door with the Mangle Plushie in hand.
"Where did that come from?" Foxy asked looking at the plushie, Felix stopped in his tracks and turned to him.
"My Grandpa made it for me as a practical joke. My older Brother laughed about it for weeks people even called me a girl, but it's not my dam fault my hair grows like this, It grows like my father's hair from what I've heard. It's too poofy. I can't fix it. He laughed each time he saw it." He explained twisting the cowlick on the top of his head when he released it from his grasp, it sprung back up into the normal position atop his head, "But I use it as a stress toy to be honest." He reached for the door to leave.
"It sure was funny" Foxy confessed, he stood shocked and Felix whirled around as soon as he heard it.
"What did you say?" He asked approaching him again filled with curiosity.
"It must have been funny... For ye brother..." Foxy looked down, Felix grabbed his muzzle and lifted his head to face him.
"He wouldn't stop laughing..." Felix shook his head, "But I hated it when he died. I just missed him too much..."
"And I missed you so much."
"What are you saying? Are you messed up or something? Whatever is coming out of your mouth is crazy." He asked, he pulled back the mouth of Foxy, seeing his sharp teeth.
"No. Really. I saw you pass outside and you never came inside to see me." Foxy now remembered back in the old pizzeria, He would peek out of Pirate's cove and see Felix walking outside sometimes, he even stared back at Foxy but hurried away regretting seeing inside. He even once remembered Felix talking to the window, Foxy had secretly sat under the window away from his view, not knowing who it was, he curiously listened as Felix talked to himself outside. He never saw Felix's face due to the fact by the time Foxy looked up, Felix would be gone or he'd just see the back of his head.
"I didn't want to." Felix told him letting his jaw close, "I just could not face the place after what nightmares It's given me. I always felt cold in there. Like there were ghosts in there trying to touch me." He explained what cold feelings he had always felt inside there, he felt like he was clasped by things that were as cold as ice, but nothing was there, making the man too alarmed to go inside.
"Awwww.." Foxy moaned, Felix got up to walk away but Something in Foxy made him reach his hand out and tugged on Felix's bandaged arm unintentionally making it come undone and some of it unravelled, letting Foxy see the Bruises and Cuts on Felix's hand. Seeing this, Foxy used his metal hand to unroll it all off his hand, once it fell onto the floor he saw what Damage Felix had on his hand.
There was several faded cuts along his wrist, like they had been there for a few months or even years. He had an enormous Bruise in on his arm that was still dark and a few snatches on his hand where he cut himself fixing Foxy, some of them were even still trying to heal. His fingers looked bad, most of them covered in bandaids that covered up the bleeding snatches he had received and his fingernails looked very uneven and cracked in the middle.
"Did ye do that to yourself?" He asked
"I don't choose to hurt my hands. But this my job. Work on machines. Get money. Clean cuts I get." He explained, "My grandpa always had bandages on his arms after working. But the longer Marks on my arm are from my Stepfather."
"He doesn't sound Nice... And I hated him." He added with a snarl
"He did it with a knife. He cut my skin when I misbehaved and I would go to bed crying and bleeding while I heard my Mother being Sexually abused by that fucker day in and day out. That's why I took chance to leave home when I could. I got these ones when I was 25. He tracked me to my workshop and attacked me. He still has a restraining order today to stay at lease 1000 yards away from me, my house and my workshop." He grabbed the bandage off the floor and started to wrap his arm up again not wanting for more questions to be asked about his Horrible Stepfather Jack, "as for my nails. They just break all the dam time. Can't do anything about that."
"You didn't like your life?"
"Not most of the time. The only time where I enjoyed my life was when I actually did some good stuff, like getting my dog or getting horse riding lessons from my neighbour so I could Train my Horses to race." He thought back to the very first sorta happy memories he had of his Adulthood life. Everything else was too painful to remember, it brought tears as he remembered back before his brother died and his mother left too.
"Somethings in my life I don't enjoy either. I can't feel anything with me metal hand." He brushed his metal hand against Felix's hair but he couldn't feel how thick or soft it was.
"Why didn't just do it when you had the chance?" Felix suddenly asked a question out of the blue.
"W-what?" Foxy sounded startled and surprised.
"You guys almost ended me. That's one of the reasons why I stopped coming." Felix pulled down the neck of his shirt and showed Foxy a three faded red scars on his left shoulder blade that went down to his chest.
"I swear I don't remember that..." Freddy looked away nervously.
"liar." Felix growled seeing he was telling a lie, Mike nodded not amazed for he knew Felix was like a lie detector, he could pick up any sights of something not being right and he'd point them out, he could even pick up on the greatest liars who could hide their nervous behaviour;but Felix always picked up on it,"I'm not stupid Fazbear."
"Well it was an accident! I didn't know that was still there today!" Freddy laughed.
"Really Freddy?" Bonnie questioned him.
"Well he got in the way! I honestly didn't mean it! And I thought it wouldn't scar like that after all this time!"
"Wait you did that to Felix?!" Mike asked, "You told me it happened when you got hit by the car because I saw it then! You're telling me that has been there since you were younger?!"
"I lied because you wouldn't have believed the truth. So I make up a lie that sounds like the believable truth. You would have believed I was sick or insane if I told you the truth."
"You thought I was sick and insane when I told you about Freddy's!" Mike yelled at him, Felix stared at him stupidly.
"Well you have to admit. Possessed animatronics wanting to rip you apart sounds insane coming from anyone actually." Felix shrugged at him, saying a true fact, knowing even if someone like him said that, he would be labelled insane.
"See he told a lie too!" Freddy said trying to make himself not look bad in this situation
"Just stop Fazbear. You're ruining this." Goldie told him.
"Hey I'm here- what is going on?" Jeremy had just came in wearing his uniform, still having a bandage on his forehead, he curiously looked around.
"We're busy!" Freddy yelled at him angry he irrupted this.
"Just get the hell over here." Mike told him as he ran towards the group who had their attention on Foxy and Felix.
"What's that?" Felix asked pointing to the photo peeking out of Foxy's Pocket in his shorts.
"This?" He grabbed it, "I found it and I think it was memory from me past life." Felix took it from him, looking at him weirdly.
"Past Life?" He questioned.
"Yea. This might sound weird. But I actually believe I was a human once." Felix looked at him like he was a blabbering idiot but he listened to him anyway, "A boy I think. I had a Ma and a Pa. I was young."
"That sounds crazy." Felix shook his head, "There's no way you could be human. It's impossible." he curiously unfolded the photo he gasped when he realised it was a photo of him as a child with his brother. They were both playing, His brother had a eyepatch and a hook with a wooden sword, along with Felix wearing a big hat with a feather and a wooden sword. He remembered that day they both laughed and had fun. Smiles both graced on their faces, that was permanently scarred onto his brain as the last happy time he had with him. Since then, he had kept the wooden swords in the cabinet of keepsakes. And this photo had been lost for a decade, his mother was forever searching for it before she died...
"My photo... I thought I lost it forever!" Felix shot to his feet, holding the photo close to his heart, "I haven't seen it in over 10 years! I thought this thing was gone for good!" He turned over the photo and looked at the date written on the back. "10th of June 1993..." He read. "I think I'll have it properly framed. The last photo with my brother found after all this time is a miracle in itself."
"Brother?" Foxy asked, his eyes grew thin, hearing those words fall out into the world made him look at Felix more closely. Even Freddy, Bonnie and Chica felt something click in their heads as they saw Felix in a other view.
"Yea. My Brother. Finn Thomas Sullivan. This photo's still in good condition. I reckon I'll get a good frame. Maybe I can even get Grandma to make one. She's still got a few good works in her fingers." Felix tapped his head. Foxy stood up, walking towards him, titling his head then looking down at his hair, rubbing it again, making Felix very startled, he backed away slowly with Foxy following him.
"What are you doing?" He asked turning around as Foxy rubbed his hand on Felix's cheek down to his chin.
"It's you... You have Dad's eyes. I'd know you anywhere."
"Wat?" Felix asked even more confused.
"That photo... Why didn't I see it before? It drove me insane not knowing!"
"Okay I'm leaving now! Clearly you have mental problems and I need to stay off the alcohol!" Felix backed away towards the door, but Marionette managed to jump over everyone's heads and land right in front of the door stopping him from leaving.
"What's going on?!" Freddy demanded to know why Marionette wasn't letting Felix leave and why Foxy was acting so bizarrely.
"You'll all crazy for all I care!" Felix yelled annoyed, "You are Mike's friends not mine! My friend circle is limited and I'm losing my patiences! I wanna go home. Get some sleep before My insomnia decides to wake me up again."
"But we can cure your Insomnia!" Marionette explained.
"I hate these guys right now so much." Felix said, "I wanna go home and get to bed. I have work tomorrow for crying out loud."
"Foxy. You know it's true." Marionette told him, "He won't believe until you convince him. He's been built to believe a lie."
"Built to believe a lie?! Are you rubbishing my Mom there you little magical bastard?!" Felix snapped angrily at him.
"Is someone gonna die?" Chi asked curious
"I hope not." Jeremy lowered his head at the thought.
"No one is gonna die!" Freddy shook his head firmly. "Just tell us what this is Marionette!"
"What this is, happens to be falling apart now." Marionette told him
"Let me go!" Felix yelled at him.
"But..." Marionette collapsed down to his knees, "this isn't the way your Grandpa designed me to be... I've shamed him. I can't bring you two back together. I've tried for years! But You just won't come willingly and he can't remember." He pointed his fingers at both Foxy and Felix.
"Bring us together?" Felix asked confused, "Why? This is what it's about."
"Felix." Foxy started, "I think I'm Finn Thomas Sullivan under this skin."
"This got too weird I'm leaving!" BonBon turned but Bonnie grabbed him and pulled him back.
"Not now BonBon!"
"What?" Felix asked, Foxy had a sight smile on his face as his circuits finally connected the lines and the memories started to clear of the fuzz that prevented him from seeing Felix for who he really was. Not just a mechanic and a friend. But a best friend. A son. A grandson. A cousin. And a Brother.
"There's adventure waiting for us. We have to find it. Like Peter Pan does." Foxy said to him, Felix's eyes widen realising only his brother said that, no one else could repeat it word for word in the same matter only Finn did.
"Finn?" He asked, Foxy stood for a minute looking at Felix's desperate face, he had been searching for answers all this time. And it could be staring at him right in the face. For a few fleeing seconds, Foxy saw the young boy sitting in the place of Felix, before he turned back to normal.
It was true Foxy Knew Felix had visited the Pizzeria as a child as his new facial scanners recognised the fact he was older but the same person. But he never thought his brother had been so close this whole time.
He believed Felix was dead all this time or he had ran away, but he was always so close. Why didn't Foxy see that he was always here all along? He never had good enough memories to know where he had gone or what happened to him. He hadn't seen him over two decades. He was inside a rotting machine while Felix lived his dreams to be like their grandfather. Him being forever trapped in the dark with his Brother enjoying the sun and simple things in life that Foxy couldn't enjoy anymore.
Even when Foxy was being fixed for the first time by Felix, He always felt his touch and warmth being so familiar. It felt like it was embracing like a warm cuddle, yet Felix mainly did snitch work on Foxy to fix the holes in his chest, his snitch work was so neat and organised, a trait which he got from their Mother. When the needle tied the bits of fabric together Foxy kept feeling like he was hit by strange waves of emotions that were so familiar like they had been there before they just vanished for no good reason.
Now Foxy knew what his dreams meant. They were telling him that Felix had been so close to him this whole time. Ever since Foxy first laid his eyes on the Mechanic. He knew they was just something too familiar about his hair, eyes and facial expression. It felt like he had greeted that face before. From where, he never knew until now. But it didn't start until Foxy saw him. This is when it all started. Because Foxy unconsciously encountered his brother after many years without knowing his real identity. All the memories started to link together and come back telling him:This is your Brother. He has been here this whole time. Go get him back.
All those forgotten memories now made sense. Felix was his little brother. He was born premature but survived. Their father had died from a head injury. Their mother remarried. And he vanished. Which must have broke Felix and Rosalyn believing he was dead all this time. He imagined Felix wouldn't have been told at the time since he wouldn't understand what Death is, being that young. He wouldn't understand what death was.
Foxy realised the lines all connected and Felix was indeed his younger brother but now Felix was an Adult who had given up faith in Finn still being here due to the proof he was dead and no one had told Felix what happened to him really. Both Felix and the child had the same coloured hair, same silver eyes, the same gap in their teeth and the same look on his face. Felix unexpectedly wrapped his arms around Foxy completely, he sniffed a few times starting to get tears in his eyes, Foxy embraced the brotherly hug and used his hand to rub his back.
"Everyone told me you were dead!" Felix cried, he started to sob a lot, Foxy could feel he was full of emotions. He had believed for around 20 years that he was dead, now to see him alive and well, it broke his point on what was real and what wasn't.
"I was always here.."
"But what happened? I mean..." He looked at him, "How the hell did you turn into an Animatronics?! That should be impossible!"
"That was me." Marionette raised his hand, "I wanted Finn to at lease see you one last time. In one form or another. It was a commitment I made to your Grandfather to keep Finn safe and loved. Even thought Vincent took his human side away. I salvaged what I did."
"This is my fault." Felix cried, Foxy brushed his fingers against his tears remembering he did this when he cried as a child, "I should have stayed with you. I should have never let Vincent take you away. Then maybe we could have both died together..."
"No... I should I listened to Ma."
"Mom was broken heart after you left! She always cried! And I would yell at her also! I feel like a fucking moron now! I feel like I caused her death!" He sobbed harder now feeling the guilt just layering on him like thick layers of icing on a cake that was made of the secrets and lies he had been told all these years.
"Ye are not a fucking moron."
"Can you humans please stop fucking teaching us those words?!" Freddy cursed looking at both Mike and Felix. Mike started to crack up laughing realising what he said.
"You just said it now!" bonnie shouted.
"What?"
"Fuck!" Bonnie repeated the word making Freddy angry.
"Stop saying that!" Freddy barked at him, Mike was now howling with laughter over Freddy's anger.
"Thank you..." Felix told Marionette, "This is what I wanted... Always..."
The rest of the animatronics stood confused at first then they watched the situation unfold until now, they all muttered then "awww"ed, Mike and Jeremy were still very confused.
"Foxy for many years I wished I would see you again." Felix told him.
"I'm glad I remember ye at last. If I was still Human I would be able to live like you. You've aged a lot."
"Yea..."
"So what happened to Ma and the Imposter?" He asked.
"Our Mom is Dead. She died just a day after I turned 15 years old. I still remember it... But I know she would want us to never leave again. As for Jack. I'm not sure. He would have left Jail by now. But I don't except that I've seen him for the last time. I got that feeling."
"Do ye still have a photo of our Mother?" Foxy sat at a table, Felix followed the same suit and placed the photo albums down, he opened one and pulled out a single photo.
"This is Our Mom." Felix told him, Foxy looked at the old photo.
His mother was beautiful. He had forgotten what she looked like and now he remembered by this photo of her out in the garden with him as a young child and Felix as a Toddler. She had dazzling black hair like Felix that flown over her shoulders to her back quiet gracefully in the wind, sparking yellow-honey coloured eyes almost simpler to Foxy's eyes that looked to be warm and full of familiar love, she wore her favourite dress patterned with red and pink flowers and she was smiling... Like she always was.. Just the way he remembered his mother had a bright smile on her face... The last time he saw her was with a smile on her face.
"She is just as Beautiful as she was. She must have been broken hearted after what happened."
"Yes. She never got over it." Felix nodded, knowing the dark day when he came home from school to find his mother curled up on the chair in a blanket crying over her son's death. When Felix came towards his Mother, she wrapped him in the blanket and embraced him, crying as she explained Finn was never coming back home. She cradled him like a baby as they both cried. Realising they would never see him coming home. Just like their father.
"And that Man there... Was our Dad..."
Foxy noticed a photo of his biological father with his mother and she was holding Foxy as a young human Baby Boy, he looked at the date and saw it was taken two weeks after he was born.
Rather than his mother being skinny, Their Father was A little Buff and Big, he was way taller than his wife, he had short dark red hair very alike to Foxy's crimson fur but it looked a lot like Felix's hair shape and Silver eyes just like Felix's eyes, that had the same perfect burning passion in them, he wore a dark black shirt and long baggy pant with socks.
"Our little Finn is gonna be spoiled rotten by us and his lovely grandparents." He remembered Ben always said to his wife, who would merely shake her head and tell him.
"My parents already have spoiled Terrance and Chris Honey. We can spoil our own children."
"How many children do you want Rose?" He'd alway questioned.
"I want at lease six!" She would joke.
"I think one or two more would be more than enough..." Ben would tell her. "Finn needs a little brother or sister to play with."
He remembered the days when his father would spend his days playing with him as an infant for almost hours and hours on end playing games like peek-a-boo, watching him bite on whatever he found (including the table sometimes) he would feed him despite being tired from coming back from his job as landscape Gardener, then at bedtime, His Mother would put him into bed and both of them would say goodnight to them smiling while they waited to spend another day with their beautiful and cheerful son.
"His Name was Ben Gregory Sullivan. Remember Foxy?" He asked pointing at him.
"I miss our Papa Felix." He remembered the fact his Father had died before he vanished, which broke their mother's heart. Knowing she had lost the love of her life.
"I do too. Jack was nothing like him. Dad could never be replaced..." Felix frowned a little but snickered a laugh when he saw himself and Finn after they had broken the whole biscuit jar just to eat Cookies. Finn has at lease three stuffed in his mouth and Felix was teething on one like it was a teething ring, seeing the date was just when Felix started to Teeth and Finn was still a young cheeky child.
"That's when you were at hospital Felix." Foxy pointed his hook to a photo of Felix in hospital staring at Finn while the children Finn curiously looked back at his brother. He remembered from his memory that Felix had curiously looked at his older brother while Ben eventually lifted him up to let him see him properly without standing on his tippy toes.
"Aww that's so cute!" Chica squealed.
"I was actually born premature guys." Felix stated that fact, "Three months before I due. They said I almost died. It was a miracle that I had survived the night let alone for the rest of my life."
"Isn't a baby born that early meant to have problems in their lungs?" Mike asked him not knowing Felix had been a premature born child.
"I did have a few problems when I was 6 that they said was asthma. But it actually was an chest infection from a cold I had."
"Felix what about one with Grandpa?" Foxy asked, "I know he was there. Show me a photo."
"Yes... This is a good one. Grandpa building The first Prototype of Bonnie." He saw his Grandpa standing next to an Incomplete Bonnie who was still missing his torso and his upper arm.
Their Grandpa was kinda old. But he looked a lot like Foxy when he was a child. He had short Dark Red hair, honey Yellow eyes, bandages around his arms, he wore a grey shirt with brown pants and a flat green hat on his head.
More memories came pouring into Foxy's mind. Like the time his father brought him to a toy store and got him a plush teddy bear which he called "Stubs", which Foxy remembered he left at home when he went to Freddy's when he died. And the time that Ben organised a picnic at the park and it started to rain, Ben had gave Rosalyn his thick Leather Jacket and wrapped Him in the blanket they brought, leaving his father freezing but still happy that both his wife and son were warm and dry. His favourite memory came back of when Felix came home to America and he was so cute and innocent, he chewed off his mittens and Rosalyn let Him lift Felix up and try to get him to walk, which ended in Felix actually walking towards his mother. Another favourite memory was when his grandmother chased away a zoo keeper at the zoo that smacked him when he tried to get a closer look at the lions, it ended in Her tackling him down and sitting on him while she ate her lunch with Rosalyn letting a baby Felix sit on his head and pull out a thick lock of his hair while he drooled all over his face and into his mouth even.
Another Memory came back of the time he was sick and His Grandma took care of him, putting blankets over him and giving him warm soups and drinks. Then all the playtimes he had with Felix playing Pirates with the wooden swords, pretend fighting and being the captain of his boat in the bathtub and having adventures across the seven seas. And all the hugs and "I love you"s he got from all members of his family.
"Cool..." Bonnie peeked over Felix's Shoulder irrupting Foxy's thought, Felix went up to rub his head a little.
"Any photos of you when I wasn't around?" Foxy asked a little scared wondering what actually happened to Felix since he was gone.
"Actually yes." Felix flipped a few pages ahead, "This is me when I was in high school." He showed him a photo of Felix looking sightly older, at lease 13 or 12 when he first started high school 8 years after Finn vanished.
"And me at the hospital when I got hit by that stupid car." They all gasped when they saw the photo of Felix who had tired eyes, both of his legs were in heavy plaster and he had severe bruising on his body, he wore a hospital gown and there were machines and get well cards next to his bed.
"How did you get by a car?" Chi asked
"My stepfather threw me into the path of the car. That was also the day Mom died." He showed a photo below that that showed his mother with her eyes closed, her hair brushed to perfection, her cold lips where covered by the same shade of Ruby Red lipstick she wore when she first met Ben many years ago. She had a long silk blue dress that her mother made for her to wear at her Sisters wedding. She was covered with flowers around her head and body.
"She so looks so untouched." Freddy looked at the picture.
"Yes. She does." Felix started to cry again, he let the tears fall down onto the page, along with Foxy, remembering when his Grandmother held Felix close wailing as she farewelled her last daughter, as she was carried away in her coffin, Felix grabbed her lifeless hand crying wishing she wasn't dead, he cried as he kissed her cheek like she did when she said goodnight, he left a rose on her body then left with regret and sadness, clutching his aching chest as his Grandmother took him home.
Foxy too felt depressed, who had just heard that since he was gone:His brother was hit by a car, his stepfather was arrested by police, his grandpa died, and his mother was dead. So much had ruined Felix's life up to this point that seeing It like this actually made him wonder if His death triggered all these events. If he never died, maybe Antonius would have lived and so would have Rosalyn. But that's just an idea after all.
"What about this one?" Bonnie asked putting his finger on a photo of Felix, looking much older wearing a black leather jacket, a aqua shirt with the red bandana he always wore, shorts and heavy boots with a large sunhat. He was settled on his horse Antonius, who was a beautiful white horse with some faint spots of light grey along with his mane being grey.
"That's me and Antonius, my first horse. That's when I took him for a ride down into the paddocks with Patches running behind me." Felix remembered the wind flying into his hair as the horse galloped along the trail, Patches running behind him woofing like crazy and
"Tell us about Jack. We're confused." Freddy urged him for more information about his step father.
"Jack married my mother when I was five. A few months before Finn vanished. She only remarried to give us a father. He was sweet at the start, then it started with him losing his job and getting into alcohol. That's when it started the problems with me and Mom."
"So you really are Brothers?" Chica asked
"Always have. Always will be." Felix nodded, "Hey say Foxy."
"Yea?"
"Do you remember this?" He opened up a cardboard box, which had wrapping around a certain object, he carefully unwrapped the protective material to keep what was inside from being damaged. Everyone looked in amazement when Felix pulled out a small wooden music box that was painted to look very shiny and glossy, it had golden outlines on it with swirls and musical notes.
"Mom's Music box!" Foxy recognised it directly from his memories, knowing it was a very old music box Rosalyn used in their young childhood to send them to sleep.
"We loved this thing. Remember?" Felix questioned as he carefully wound up the back of it. When it started to play, Foxy knew the tune was the exact same from Sarah's own Music box, but he remembered the music box was newer because it was plastic and it was painted a plain white with a pink love heart on it. This was wooden and a lot older. Yet it still managed to play that familiar tune that both Felix and Foxy loved very much.
The tune just filled Foxy with love and more memories of his mother and father with Felix. Knowing now a Survivor from his family, his brother was still alive and had brought a very valuable keepsake to him. The music box played the music they loved for a few more minutes before it stopped, Foxy looked disappointed as he tried to grip the knob to turn it so the song would start again.
"Careful. I don't want you to damage it. Especially with your Hook." Felix pointed out the hook on Foxy's right hand, he growled in disappointment so Felix grabbed it and wound it tightly again, making the tune restart and Foxy smile happily.
"I also kept a few keepsakes from Grandpa." Felix lifted the Golden Pocket watch out of pocket letting Foxy look at it, then he surprised everyone when he lifted a small talisman from around his neck.
"What's that?" Mike asked.
"Grandpa's Talisman. He wore it when he met Grandma when they were teenagers. Always believed it was good luck. I like wearing it to feel like he's close by."
"Hi there Mister!" BB hoped over Felix's Shoulder, he growled sightly annoyed at his presences.
But nevertheless he put up with it, "Hello there. You're Balloon Boy right?"
"Yes! But some people call me Billy!"
"That was my Grandpa Original name for you."
"Did your Grandpa design us?" Chi asked Felix.
"Yes." Felix lifted up the Book labeled "Toys Design and Criteria" he opened up to the first design page which had Teddy on it.
"You see. This is kinda Brand New. Because he started to design you after he retired from animatronic work in 1988. But He never got to actual build you. I'm the only one who posses these books today. From what I heard. My grandpa left Blueprints in the Fazbear Entertainment building and they were discovered years later. Then when you were being builded. I requested for Fazbear Entertainment to return the Blueprints to me since my Grandpa's will stated that all his work possessions including Blueprints and unfinished Work would be given to me. But they refused to return them to me. Saying they were valuable..."
"Hey Felix! Actually..." Mangle got his attention, she placed her hand down her throat and pulled out a roll of blue prints, "I have them. But you can have them back."
"One my grandpa's last works... Thanks Mangle... Or should I Funtime Foxy?" He referred to her first title given to her by his grandpa, he lifted the Blueprints up and viewed them.
"Your Mother is very Beautiful..." Freddy looked at a much older picture of his mother that was taken after Finn had vanished, she still managed to Smile, she was standing next to Felix, who was reading his Grandpa's Manuals for the first time.
"She is... Even when she died... Her beauty was still unharmed..." Felix teared up a little, rubbing his finger over her photo.
"Dad always said she was the most beautiful Lass in Greece." Foxy recalled.
"He did Foxy. You're starting to recall this..."
"Can we open the crates now?!" Chica shook Felix a little starting to get annoyed about the two large crates still at the door.
"Okay we can!" Felix spoke, "Think of these as a new grand re-opening present. I wanted to bring it in a few days ago... But I thought I'd just leave it here..."
All the Animatronics walked towards the crates, Felix lifted up a heavy crowbar and stuck the sightly smaller crate first, opening the lid wide open, he flipped the wooden slab to the side and pulled down the protective plastics and fabrics.
"Guys... This is one of my original creations..." He dragged the first thing out, the animatronics watched as he placed the thing down onto the floor.
"This is JJ." Felix gestured to the short Female Human animatronic, who looked almost like BB, but she had long curly brown hair, human skin, pink rosy cheeks, a shirt patterned blue and purple, with the hat as the same colour, a skirt and a pair of flat shoes.
"What does JJ stand for?" Freddy asked him.
"JJ stands for Jolly Juliet. But you can Call her Juliet or Jill for short." He activated the button on the back of her neck, her pink eyes fluttered open, she smiled seeing the Other Animatronics.
"Howdy!" She said cheerfully waving at them, They all smiled at Felix's newest Animatronic creation. JJ looked at Balloon Boy, who had been hiding near the stage, she giggled then ran up to him, surprising him with a hug.
"Brother!" She said, "I love my Brother!"
"I forgot to say I've programmed her to recognise BB as her brother." Felix added.
"What about the second one?" Chica watched felix open the second crate.
"This for you Goldie... A special present..." Felix brought out another animatronic from the other crate, Goldie stared at it.
He was amazed at What Felix had done. She was beautiful... She was a golden rabbit with a Purple Bowtie, she had a pair of shimmering green eyes and a smile on her face.
"I know I can't bring back your Partner Goldie from those days... But I'd like you to meet Spring Bella."
"She's beautiful..." Goldie said in a bliss, Felix activated her, she stared at him first, then at her surrounding.
"This is home?" She asked
"Yes. This is your Home Bella." Felix told her, Spring Bella walked towards the animatronics like JJ did, she went towards Freddy first with her ears down in fear, thinking something would happen.
Freddy touched her soft fur on her head, patting her, then he looked at her, "Welcome Spring Bella and Juliet too." He looked down at
"How about we Read Peter Pan now?" Foxy urged Felix.
"We can watch it indeed. How about that?"
"You can watch stuff now?!" He asked like an excited child, Felix shook his head.
"You're still the same..." Foxy wrapped his arms around Felix again, his tail wagged like a puppy dog, once he hugged back, Foxy knew he had finally found what he had lost... And it was right in front of him.
For one moment Foxy closed his eyes and imagined what it would be like if he was still human and they were reuniting.
"I'll never Leave you again Little brother..." Foxy told him, remembering what he had done... But now after many years...
Felix had the answers... And Foxy had his brother back... And that's all that matter.
THE END
