Chapter 37: Road Trip Part 1

The Matthews had been driving for what seemed like days Amy and Allen were in the front of the bus talking and driving. Corey Eric and Shawn were talking over the top of one another, Topanga and Morgan were sitting in the middle behind them talking Auggie Riley and Lucas were trying to play on a board game and kept fighting over what the rules were. Then at the very back of the bus Maya was laying her head on Josh's lap with her legs stretched out over the rest of the seat.

''can I see'' Josh said

''no'' Maya said

''are you done yet'' Josh said

''Stop talking or I will stuff up'' Maya said

'' just a quick peek'' Josh said

''I'm nearly done'' Maya said

''gosh when you said you wanted to draw me I didn't think it would take this long'' Josh said

''stop moving your lips'' Maya said

''you know I should really be kissing you right now'' Josh said

''and why is that exactly'' Maya said

''should I have a reason'' Josh said

''well you can in a second'' Maya said

''so are you done yet'' Josh said

''Yes what do you think'' Maya said showing him the drawing.

''Maya I love it'' Josh said

''really'' Maya said with a smile

''it's the best thing any of my girlfriends have ever drawn for me'' Josh said

Maya sat up and placed a small kiss on his cheek

''fine so who were all your boyfriends'' Josh said

''yeah there was Jake, Kyle, Sam, Reece, Jai, Brandon, Brady and Michal'' Maya said

Josh didn't say anything instead he sat there with a shocked look on his face.

''you're to easy to fool'' Maya said laughing

''what so that was a joke'' Josh said

''yeah as if I have been out with 8 guys before'' Maya said

''I have been with one and a half'' Maya said

''Mummy Joshie and Maya are kissing again'' Auggie said

''hey get a room'' Eric teased

''no actually not room will be gotten'' Shawn said

''yeah pg. rated'' Corey said

''chill guys it was just a kiss'' Josh said

''fine lets join their board game'' Maya said

''ok'' Josh said taking Mayas hand and going to join Riley Auggie and Lucas.

''Were here'' Allen shouted

''finally'' everyone said as they got up to look at the place they were going to be camping.

''ok outside in a straight line were going to get tent buddies.'' Amy said

Everyone lined up outside the bus as Allen put the Tents on the floor in front of him.

''ok one tent between two once you have your buddy stand next to them remember you will be sleeping with these buddies and if they snore that's your problem'' Allen said

Everyone partnered off and stood with their buddies.

''ok let me check them.'' Corey said

He looked at the partners everyone had chosen.

''no this is not going to happen you two and you two will not be partnered'' Corey said

''what's' wrong'' Topanga said

''look at the groups'' Corey said

''this is not happening'' Topanga said

''Josh you and Maya will not be tent buddies and Riley and Lucas you won't be either.'' Corey said

''I'm going to decide the groups'' Topanga said

''worth a try hey'' Josh said

Maya winked at him

''Amy you can go with Allen in the normal tent, I will go with Morgan in the comfortable tent, Corey Eric Shawn and Auggie you can go in the big tent, Josh and Lucas will be in the normal tent and Riley and Maya will be in the other'' Topanga said

''I'm good with that'' Maya said

''anyone not happy with their tent partner speak now'' Topanga said

No one said anything.

''good then these are you partners we can get out more of the tents when our visitors come'' Topanga said

''sound good'' Every one said

''now go get set up'' Topanga said

Everyone moved off to set up their tents. Then Shawn grabbed Maya and took her somewhere no one could see them.

''you got the goods'' Shawn said

''if you mean stuff for the pranks then yes'' Maya said

''ok which are we going to do first'' Shawn said

''well we can collapse everyone's tents when they're in them tonight'' Maya said

'' I got shaving crème to put of peoples faces'' Shawn said

''and I got makeup'' Maya said

''ok let's just wait for it to get dark then we can begin the pranks'' Shawn said

''agreed meet back here when it's dark'' Maya said

It was dark and everyone was asleep in their tents and Shawn and Maya had already started putting shaving crème and make up on everyone's faces.

''ok just finishing up'' Maya whispered

''Classic '' Shawn said

''done'' Maya said

''ok now for the awakening'' Shawn said

''you're on'' Maya said

Maya and Shawn ran around pulling out the tent poles from everyone's tents which made them collapse and fall on them in the end waking them up.

Everyone started screaming and crawled out of their tents to find Maya and Shawn literally rolling on the floor laughing.

''seriously it's just the first night'' Corey said

''it was too good of an opportunity to pass up'' Maya said

''hey Cor that's a nice look you got going on there red lipstick is totally your colour'' Shawn said

''Riley we need to up our game'' Corey said

''yes we do'' Riley said

''don't worry we have lots more where that came from'' Maya said smiling at Shawn.
